The food was quite OK. However, the service was a total disaster - the employees at the counter just looked you in the face without serving. We had to wait almost 35 minutes until we could place our order and we had to wait a long time to be robbed until we then went to the counter ourselves to pay. Thanks but never again.

Today I visited Café Del Sol in Hamm. After about 5 minutes someone came to the table and took the order. After about 10 minutes I had my food. I ate the BBQ burger. I personally liked this and the portion was appropriate. Paying also took little time. The store was almost half full (inside). The toilets are clean. The ambience was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There are not many parking spaces directly in front of the store compared to the capacity of the tables. However, there are sufficient parking spaces next door. If the path takes me to Hamm again, I could imagine visiting again.

When we got in it was very quick and even without a reservation we were able to get a table. The service was very friendly and worked very well and quickly. The prices were completely appropriate. The food itself was delicious but that was the case with the burger The meat was a bit dry and the bread was too fried. The burger was topped in the wrong order but was still very tasty. The food is really very good. However, this is the only reason why I come. At least 20 minutes wait until a waiter comes and pays attention to you. After the food was finally there, I finally got my drink after reminding me several times. We had to go in to pay because two waiters “passed on” our payment request. This is the 2nd time after more than 3 months that it has happened like this. Next time it's better to take the food away or not at all. Very unfortunate.

Good location, lots of parking spaces. The service for us was really good and very quick. Due to the high ceilings, the acoustics are louder the more guests there are. You can find really good breakfast or brunch options there on Sundays.

Great place to relax and enjoy, but unfortunately the smoking area was currently closed when I visited. Unfortunately the prices are also a bit high, but this is due to inflation. Nevertheless, you will be greeted with great service here.

Hello, I don't really know where to start. First of all, we were made to wait for 15 minutes until a waiter decided to serve us. We were then made to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. Then we had to wait until someone showed up again so that our order for the food could be taken, but since only the new ones were sent to clear away, we had to wait again for someone who could take the order. And again, waited almost 40 minutes. Waited for a meal that was just slapped on the table, the salad tasted like pure vinegar and I could have made the potatoes myself. Our whole table was shocked and disappointed with the food, they really expected more. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait at least 15 minutes because once again no one was there to serve us professionally. Maybe this was all because they only sent the new ones who couldn't even take an order. Or the fact that the blonde waitress prefers to sit with her boyfriend all her working hours and talk to him. Continuously. Until she had a break, made something to eat, and then they sat together again. She walked through the store once or twice, she's supposed to look like she's working, but 99% of the time we were there she was hanging with him. The shop was empty, no waiters to be seen, apart from the new ones who cleared the table every now and then. What kind of professional working relationship is that supposed to be? With a “restaurant” like this, I can also go to an all-you-can-eat store if I have to take care of everything myself anyway. The service was a complete disaster! Never again.

It started with us having to wait over 15 minutes until a waiter happened to walk past our table and we could order our drinks. After almost 20 minutes, the oh-so-complicated 2 sprites were brought, the remaining 4 drinks took another 10 minutes. After our food order and another 30 minutes, this was also brought and tasted quite okay. Further service was only possible if a waiter happened to show up once every half hour and you had to wave at him. The remaining waiters spent their working hours at the counter with guests and food. When we wanted to pay we had to go to the front of the counter several times because we wanted to go slowly. Each time we were sent back to our table with the information that a waiter would come to pay in 2 minutes. 2 minutes quickly turned into 20. When we got fed up, we were told that the waiter with the cash register or whatever wasn't available at the moment. Such chaos. On a Wednesday evening. In a relatively empty restaurant. When salvation came, the waitress answered the tip question on the device with a “no”, for her own safety?:) Disappointing

We had breakfast for two and everything was rich, varied and very attractively presented. We were served promptly and were repeatedly asked in a friendly manner whether we were satisfied or had any further requests. Highly recommended!

A nice, pleasant and decent environment. When you order, the waiter does not have to wait for you or you do not have to bother to call a waiter. You can easily place your order with the QR code on your table. And since each table has a different QR code, there is no confusion when ordering. I really liked this application. Hygiene was good. I had a latte, it would have been better if the coffee intensity was a little more intense. I tasted milk much more intensely.

Café de sol is never bad but never exceptional either.

Unfortunately, the quality and quantity have decreased. I came very often back then and you still got something for your money. Now you pay €10 for fries with chicken and get an extremely small portion. After asking the waiter, the portions will be weighed. Apparently the amount received back then was reduced. Too bad...

Very good service. Drinks are too expensive in my opinion. Otherwise very tasty, fresh. Chairs could be cleaned again :)

The Schnitzel Del Sol is highly recommended. The waiter has always been nice and respectful. The ambience is pleasant.

Saturday 7:00 p.m. - it wasn't overly busy, it took a while to take the order. The chili as a starter came before the drinks - minus for the service. The burger was warm, but not really hot - minus for the food area.

Solid food. Furniture a bit worn. Rhubarb spritzer is not recommended, it has hardly any taste and hardly any carbonation.

Cocktails and drinks were great, food was more like a canteen. Ready-made breaded schnitzel and hollandaise sauce from the bag, unfortunately you can taste it :( If it's well filled, you can only sit outside, unfortunately it's far too loud inside.

Absolutely top for breakfast/brunch and a 100% recommendation. The dinner is delicious, but far too expensive for the portions that are far too small. For the price you can expect a portion twice as large. You definitely won't get full with just one.

Today we went for a short ride on the bike and stopped here in between. Spontaneously used and enjoyed the “Pinsa Day”! Very tasty food, great service and comfortable seating, what more could you want?

Had the Chili Cheese Burger. That was good. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the currywurst, as for me it was a bockwurst and I understand a currywurst to be a nice grilled sausage.

Had breakfast there. There was everything you could wish for. Very fresh and tasty.

The noise inside is very loud. You can hardly have a conversation. Sitting outside is quite good. Food always tastes good. Ambiance is cozy.

Very sad atmosphere even though it’s full what I can’t understand. Orderd 1 coffee and one ice coffee the coffee came within 10 min and had to wait another 20 min until the ice coffee came 😂 to get attention to even start the order you need luck. The ice coffee was disgusting and the cream on top was more butter then cream.. didn’t taste good. Had food here before service same same. Everything takes ages and it’s not even good. Thank you but this was my last time there.

Burger was cold. Currywurst was a grilled bockwurst but tasty. Unfortunately the fries died several times and it all took a long time. Do you really need scissors to make a good Pinsa? Nope

I was recently at Café de Sol and unfortunately I am very disappointed with my visit. I had ordered a specific product that I was really looking forward to. After half an hour of waiting, I was finally informed that the product was not available. It's annoying that I was only informed about this after such a long wait. This delay could have been recognized and communicated much earlier. To my disappointment, I was not offered any compensation or alternative. The entire incident was extremely unprofessional and greatly marred my visit to Café de Sol. I hope the management will avoid such incidents in the future and place more emphasis on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, due to this bad experience, I will not recommend Café de Sol and will not visit it again for the time being.

A nice place where you can undoubtedly stay longer. Whether for brunch or during the promotional weeks. Clean and tidy location. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Always my pleasure. Since I/we were there in the morning, I can't say anything about the afternoon or evening. All in one.........we found it good.

I chose soup as a starter. This was brought along with the main course. So I could choose which dish I would eat cold. The prices have also shot up quite a bit in the last few years.

Always good ! You can certainly argue about the food. I think it's absolutely okay, even though it's a lot of frozen food.

The seating outside is really nice, but that's about it. Were there yesterday, coffee lukewarm, food lukewarm/almost cold at least my currywurst, service overwhelmed even though there wasn't much going on. This was probably due to the fact that the device for recording and receiving money kept getting stuck. But eating lukewarm/almost cold is not possible. You had to look for the sauce, I don't expect something like that for over 9 euros. It's a shame for such a beautiful location

In my opinion, everything has decreased quite a bit overall. The furnishings are badly used here and there, some corners are semi-clean, the toilets are still terrible (unwanted sauna feeling!), the service is sparse and the food is only so-so. Quite expensive - non-alcoholic cocktails around €8 and alcoholic cocktails around €9-12 in quite large glasses, but a lot of ice and not even full. It's becoming increasingly rare for me to find my way to Café del Sol (regardless of the location) - there are nicer alternatives with better offerings, service and quality. I'm sorry.

Very nice atmosphere, service friendly and reliable. The menu offers a lot of choice. The food tastes very good and fresh (only on the second visit the nuggets were a bit too dark for the child but were still easy to eat). The portions are very large, but the prices are completely reasonable. Update 07/26/24: The pasta (Pasta Special) and salads are very good, fresh and delicious.

Unfortunately, I couldn't even order drinks, let alone food, within 35 minutes. It's not possible to order online if you want to change the sauce on a salad, it doesn't seem to be planned.

Very friendly service, the food came quickly, all questions about the food were answered professionally, Tanja, the waitress was a hit.

There were four of us there - the store wasn't crowded. The music was very loud and we literally had to shout at each other to understand something. I got my food 15 minutes later than my friends. The pasta aglio was more garlicky than anything else. There was also a large amount of oil floating on the plate, so I had to leave a lot of the noodles because they were in pure oil. Unfortunately, no second visit is possible.

The employees are very nice and the food itself is also very good. The schnitzel tastes great. Unfortunately, the Penne Spezia didn't taste like honey mustard. The Fanta was very stretched. Unfortunately, my favorite noodles with shrimps were taken off the menu, you now have to order them separately, which is a shame.

It's nice to sit outside, you can't do anything about the view and you can't do anything about all the rednecks with their carts. Cappuccino tastes ok, but way too small! Sipped it twice, cup empty. More foam than anything else. I didn't eat anything, but I'll try it again.

The food, pinsa, burgers and vegan burgers, were very tasty - the portions of fries with the burgers were sufficient. However, the price-performance ratio was not right for the vanilla crunch (portion too small). Very good service is also worth mentioning.

The food was excellent. The staff was very nice but inattentive about drinks. The wait for the food was a disgrace. We had to wait over an hour for the food even though there wasn't much going on. It was also a shame that the starter came with the main course and so the main course got cold.

There were additional charges for things that were not taken, etc. * We didn't even expect anything and thought that bad days happen. Today again problems with eating. - Fries extremely greasy, dark brown & way too cross. - food served more than 10 minutes apart (we were there with kids and it wasn't a shared meal or you let something get cold). - then an entire dish was forgotten again - again additional charge for drinks (that were not ordered) I don't like to complain, but the food as a whole was bad! Everything was dark brown and extremely cross, the kids didn't like the fries either, generally the children weren't happy. For us it's over after the second attempt. That was the last visit and we otherwise enjoyed being there.

Meeting with girlfriend. First time in Hamm. Service was super nice, very friendly, asked again and again.

There were three of us there today. I had the classic beef burger with fries (€12.40) and you could tell it was frozen, the fries weren't seasoned, the burger tasted bland and nothing was really warm. Service could be much better, neither was asked whether it was tasty nor were we served something to eat and while I was still eating the plates were taken away by my friends who had only recently finished what was not appropriate. The ambience is visually quite nice but very narrow and very loud.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed, although the food was really tasty and well prepared. When I saw the iced tea pictured on the menu, I was really thirsty for it. 3 other people at the table too. What we got was beyond disappointing. That was just a loveless mess with no less than 2 raspberries and a mint leaf. I am aware that images in the map often show a different, more beautiful picture. But you can expect an iced tea with some ice, a few “more” raspberries and decorations for “€6”! Otherwise tasty but also expensive. Pictures in the photo gallery.

A very large, architecturally superbly designed restaurant. It's not loud either and we were able to have a good conversation. Also friendly, competent staff.

The food is always delicious. The all-you-can-eat offers are recommended for hungry guests. One point deducted because the music is often much too loud - it becomes difficult to entertain.

Unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. Aside from the outrageous prices, the service is incredibly poor. We arrived. There was already an employee outside serving other guests. Sees us, goes back in without a word. The table was dirty, just like the other tables outside. They definitely haven't seen a rag for hours. After waiting 15 minutes we ordered using the QR code. We waited another 20 minutes for our drinks. My drink finally came. We then had to wait another 5 minutes for the other one. We also waited ages for the food. When I asked if he could turn on the patio heater, the answer was yes, I'll ask. Just by asking the question, we could have at least asked if he should bring us blankets. Another 20 minutes after we had finished eating and our drinks had already been empty for a long time, he came back and said he couldn't turn on the patio heater. Yes, now we don't need it anymore. He left straight away without us really being able to complain and didn't even ask if we would like to order anything else. The food was somehow tasteless. Not seasoned enough, too watery. Simply not edible. Our table neighbors even had their food on the table instead of drinks. We had to ask 3 times whether we could finally pay. The waitress didn't even ask if everything was OK. Put the EC machine down and just said “You have to choose the tip yourself”. We paid and she left straight away. Anyone who has such employees can also leave the store closed straight away. We won't be coming back.
