A really great restaurant that I have never experienced before on Rügen. Food top. Service top. Our new favorite restaurant.✨

Lots of room for improvement. The food was quite good, fish soup was tasty, beef tartare was, in my opinion, too finely chopped or minced and seasoned with ketchup. Panfish was okay, the plaice on one side was clearly overcooked for me, fried potatoes and salad were good. The ladies in service were hectic and the harsh tone behind the counter left you puzzled, but the young man in service was friendly. But why is the breakfast buffet already set up for the hotel guests in the same guest room while dinner is running...? Probably not a repeat, that's for sure.

Great ambience. Tastefully decorated. The food? Plaice fried to perfection. Fried potatoes are great, not too greasy and nice and crispy. Personal tip: Störtebeker Schwarzbie from the barrel! Yummy!

Almost a week ago we were guests in the harbor restaurant in the evening. We more than enjoyed the visit. From the friendly lady on the phone when making the reservation, to the welcome after entering the restaurant, the service, the food, to the farewell. I would particularly like to highlight the food. It's been a long time since I've eaten as well in Germany as I did that evening. The fish soup was so delicious that I would have liked to take some with me. We'll definitely come back. Thank you, especially in the kitchen.

A real insider tip here in Lauterbach. We were here for the second time now. For Valentine's Day there was also a menu outside the menu. It was the same at Christmas time. I had the mayor's piece with Brussels sprouts and mashed celery and potato straw on top. The sauce was the sibling to the meat. A real poem. Great interaction 👍👍👍👍👍 The chef can really do something. Only my wife had desert and that was not only impressive but also added to the overall package and rounded off the great evening. Absolute recommendation 👍👍

First of all i would admit, that this man ca 50 years old, who was a waiter for our table, had really good fragrances and had very good looking (i mean clothes and haircut) bravo👌🏻 not that oft you can meet a waiter who cares abt outlooking so good👏🏻 And of course food. Well all you can say, i would eat there every day! Literally! Chef - awesome job! I am vegetarian so hat also smth to eat but would be happy to see more vegetarian /vegan options for a next meeting ☺️ Steinpilzen cremesuppe would be really priceless ❤️ And fish that my bf ordered was also 5 stars. Top gastronomy, we read the reviews beforehand and thought that was probably exaggerated praise... we were taught otherwise... it was really perfect, a great pleasure, we ate the menu and went back the next evening... nothing more is possible!

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and makes a very upscale impression. The service, however, was subpar. I had asked if my food that I couldn't finish could be packed up, the waiter replied, I have to pack it up anyway, in very bad German, then another waitress came who then said it wasn't clear to them what should happen to the food. Yes, well then not possible to pack. The food itself was ok, some of the beef tips were very tough so I could hardly cut them. My husband's Wiener Schnitzel was just breading and the schnitzel was flattened far too thin. The fried potatoes are not seasoned, just plain on the plate. All in all it was worth the experience. But for the price I would have expected better quality.

We were here for a birthday dinner. Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and the waiter was also very nice and up for a joke.

For our wedding we went to the candlelight dinner in the harbor restaurant “Zum kleine Leuchtturm” in the evening. We had a wonderful 3-course menu and at the end we were able to enjoy our wedding cake. We loved the food so much that we visited the restaurant again on our last day of vacation and indulged in culinary delights.

We had a light lunch of oven baked potato with smoked salmon and herby soft cheese, which was really nice and well presented. However, the waitress was brash, bordering on rude, making a somewhat less than enjoyable experience.

My wife and I were able to spend 10 nights in the harbor hotel in September and also dined four times in the hotel's own restaurant. Every evening was a complete success. Both the food and the service couldn't have been better. The atmosphere is simply harmonious, modern and cozy. The breakfast buffet was also so rich and varied that it didn't get boring after 10 days. Everything has really been thought of. I could write so much more, but it's best to see for yourself. Will definitely be coming back! :-)

We went here for dinner on the last day of our short vacation. The three of us hadn't eaten as well as we had that evening in a long time. The menu offers something for every taste, we were thrilled. Five visits, five times we went home with a smile. We really liked the warm atmosphere in the restaurant on our first visit. A very relaxed, always attentive service and, to top it off, the food. Regardless of whether it was Lauterbach panfish, salmon, zander or the fish recommendations next to the main menu, all the fish were fried to perfection and very tasty, and the plates were great to look at. The beef from the daily recommendation, highly recommended both as a medallion and as fillet tips, with a sauce to lick off the plate. And then dessert. We tried everything in just under a week (except the cheese plate) and are of the opinion that no matter what you choose, you can't go wrong. Conclusion: An absolute recommendation, make sure to make a reservation, especially on the weekend.

We were warmly welcomed and had a very nice table outside. In addition to the menu there were 3 extra daily specials. What we thought was great is that the prices were mentioned. We had the cauliflower soup, the turnips with goat cheese, plaice and, absolutely perfect for me, the cod with risotto and chorizo ​​and asparagus. For dessert, a crème brulee with fresh berries. A great evening from starter to dessert. The service is very nice and keeps an overview well, even though the restaurant was packed. We would recommend a reservation. The fish menu was to die for, and the matching Pinot Gris was perfect. And a note about the ambience: as a small woman, I could sit comfortably and relaxed in the beautiful armchairs on the covered terrace. This makes you want to linger a little longer. It's a shame that we only discovered the restaurant on the last day of our vacation. It is located directly at the port of Lauterbach. Price-performance ratio is appropriate for the very good quality of the food. Roasted cauliflower soup as a starter was very good. Also the Wiener Schnitzel from veal. We can recommend without reservation. It was the best thing we ate there during our vacation. Gladly again.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. The food was ok, but we didn't notice any spices. It was just "flat". The service made an effort, but I would give the conversations and instructions to each other in peace and not let the guests feel your stress. We found that terrible.

Since we eat vegetarian, it is sometimes difficult to find something for us between fish sandwiches and the like. Everything fits here. The fries with truffles were super delicious. Pasta with truffles is a dream. My wife had the tarte flambée which was very light and airy. We were very satisfied. I would recommend making a reservation.

A huge compliment to the cuisine and service, we haven't found anything better in terms of cuisine on Rügen. Service is very courteous, even if you haven't reserved a table there is always a solution. The recommended wine was excellent, it will also be on my order list. There's not much to say about the cuisine... simply excellent and at the highest level. The highlight for me is the teriyaki salmon, closely followed by the house-style fish soup. Our main courses were veal liver, mayor's piece, filled ravioli and classic Viennese schnitzel... It was an unforgettable culinary week for us, we will definitely be back next year.

The reviews make you curious. So the two of us came to dinner at 8:30 p.m. without a reservation, it's open until 10 p.m. The kitchen wanted/was already closed, but we asked for fish soup and plaice, which was also possible. Soup was delicious, the plaice was very well fried and seasoned, but watery on the inside (hence the deduction). We were probably too late for that.

We were thrilled again on our most recent visit. Great service and sensational food. We followed the recommendation and ate Wagyu prepared in an Asian way. 👍👍👍 It is and will probably remain one of our favorite restaurants on Rügen 👍👍👍

Clear menu with a good range of food and drinks. Service friendly. Orders were taken and served quickly. The veal liver was very well prepared and turned out to be a very good choice. Chanterelles were offered seasonally with risotto. Definitely a recommendation.

Very high quality and tasty cuisine. The soups are unbeatably delicious...Creamy fish soup with lots of fish and the cauliflower soup with nut pesto is awesome. Main courses were all very tasty. A very nice restaurant where you should reserve a table in advance, at least on weekends. Since we stopped by spontaneously, we were given a place in the winter garden in front. The service was very friendly and relaxed. The food was great. There's still some room for improvement with green tea 😉 The toilets are very clean, in keeping with the rest of the upscale ambience. There are no vegan dishes on the menu, although the chef can always prepare something. And he can! We had a three-course menu... A dream! Overall, it was one of the best restaurant visits I've had in a long time. Top food, really nice decor (modern but still recognizable as a “harbour restaurant”) and top service. We have reserved again for next week.

Everything is just right here! We've been here for the second time now and we're simply thrilled. We also like to drive 30 minutes across the island for the warm service and great food. Also a great offer for vegetarians and children. Be it drinks, starters, main courses or dessert - everything is beautifully presented and delicious. You can clearly see the craftsmanship here!

Geben auch viel Information zum Essen von sich aus aber auch auf unsere Fragen. Tolles Ambiente. Wartezeit, dafür das es frisch zubereitet wird super.
