The location of the hotel is good and the food is really great. Here the boss still cooks himself. This is probably his passion. Unfortunately that's about it in terms of positive aspects, the cleanliness of the rooms falls by the wayside (it's not cleaned every day). In general, there is a huge renovation backlog in the hotel, especially in the bathrooms... the outdoor areas (terrace) could also use a cleaning hand... I don't think I'll stay there again.

Very good food, good portions and friendly service. There are also enough parking spaces. Very nice interior design. What more could you want? Full 5 stars!

We were only there to eat but, like the first time, we ate excellently. Service was friendly and accommodating and the food was again very good. Price/performance is right and is appropriate for the quality. Highly recommended and we would love to come back.

Stayed at the Hotel am Bodden from August 16th to 20th, 2024. No matter where, spiders and cobwebs everywhere. We can agree with many negative ones.

Very attentive and friendly, since we had mentioned when booking that we were on our honeymoon, we were surprised by this nice welcome. Breakfast is great, you are asked personally every day if you have any special requests. Restaurant is also highly recommended! 👌🏻 And in close proximity to the harbor 🤩

A hotel that is getting old, it has been partially renovated, so the floor of the rooms is laid with easy-to-clean PVC in a laminate look. The furniture is an old hotel design from the 90s, functional. The restaurant shines in a new, fashionable design and fits well with the young concept, which is also reflected in the menu. The food is original and you can find clever creations, such as warm mozzarella in a nut crust, as well as classic dishes such as Hamburg-style schnitzel with fries. Suitable for a weekend stay overnight. Be sure to visit the restaurant once, with a reservation.

By chance we went to this restaurant today and were not disappointed… Super friendly staff, fast service and the food was great… we can only recommend it… the ambience, staff and food are just TOP!!!

I can only rate the restaurant: Meat quality of the BBQ ribs and the Charolais ribeye are excellent. Despite ordering medium rare, the ribeye was unfortunately a little too medium (well). Special requests for chanterelles were gladly fulfilled. Service very good. Swedish mug good. Ragout is great. Best restaurant in Lauterbach. I'll be back.

Because a "fish and steak house" that we initially looked at with a notice "no card payment" attached to the entrance bluntly demanded assistance in tax evasion, we visited this restaurant. Everything is great: friendly welcome from the owners, a pleasant place in the garden, prompt service, good drinks and - now it comes - freshly prepared dishes in which not a single ingredient is canned! Incredibly tasty and rich. If it didn't sound so cynical: we owe this great visit to a "tax evader"

Unfortunately we only stayed in the hotel and restaurant for three nights but we really enjoyed the hospitality, helpfulness and service. The kitchen is highly recommended. Apart from a few pieces of dust, the rooms are clean. We felt very comfortable

Went for a short break at the Hotel Am Bodden restaurant. Nice room, everything you need. Restaurant a dream. Here the boss cooks himself, rich dishes, lovingly prepared. The service ladies were super nice and were also very open to nice compliments on food and drinks. Also take time for a little conversation. Breakfast buffet: nothing is missing. Scrambled eggs or fried eggs are freshly prepared with love by the chef. We really enjoyed the fresh Bircher muesli and fruit salad. We'll be back next year and even with our offspring. We had a class reunion with 24 people on the weekend of May 24, 2024. The staff is perfect, the food can't be beat. The best restaurant far and wide. Not cheap, but worth every euro. The price-performance ratio is right. The service is very attentive, you don't notice any stress and the kitchen is really top notch. We can only say thank you for the three great days.

We have been coming to Putbus for years and always enjoy coming back here! You immediately feel at home, you are greeted and served in a friendly manner and the food is great across the board! No problem even with a dog. Great restaurant, we'd love to come back!

My husband and I spontaneously went to the restaurant and were warmly welcomed into a great atmosphere! We ordered burgers and were pleasantly surprised: they were hand-made and appetizingly prepared! Price/performance is 100% right here! You should definitely be really hungry!

We are always guests at the beginning of the sailing season and then again at the end at the end of the sailing season. You can get the best steaks there within a 100 km radius, arranged with smart sauces and fresh, crunchy salads. We also found an extraordinary taste experience with the squid carpaccio with orange vinaigrette. Great location, absolute recommendation!

We were guests in this really cozy restaurant on Easter Sunday. We had reserved, which is why we got our seats easily. A couple of guests in front of us had probably not done this in advance and were therefore less lucky. However, efforts were also made to find a place for the two unannounced guests. About our experience. First of all, the dishes prepared were well cooked and, if you ignore the sauce, delicious. But more here later. The dining room was well filled, which is why the slightly longer wait until our drink requests were accepted was acceptable. With the drinks we had already agreed on our food order and ordered it straight away. A short time later the first setback occurred. The salmon trout offered on the menu was already out. Which is why my wife and mother-in-law had to choose something else. About an hour later the next disappointment. The flank steak my son ordered was also no longer available. The fact that I only noticed this after an hour gave me something to think about, as I'm actually almost done eating after an hour. It wasn't even prepared here. After about another half hour the dishes were served. My son's beef fillet was absolutely delicious and really generously sized. The blue trout that my mother-in-law had was also very tasty. However, my wife and I's dishes suggested that our chef must be newly in love. Because both our sauces and my red cabbage were hopelessly too salty. The meat was cooked well and tasted decent without the sauce. But since everything was covered with a lot of sauce (by the chef, not by us), it was difficult to enjoy it without salt. In conclusion I can only say: The chef was deeply in love and the time and goods management were simply abysmal that day. But I would like to visit this restaurant again and see if this was just an exception. In any case, the service was very friendly.

We were only in the restaurant and not in the guesthouse. And all you can say about this restaurant is WOW! We ate there twice in total and will 100,000% come back. The burgers are simply amazing. At first you think “woah €20 for a burger?!” But when the burger comes it definitely justifies the price. Because then €20 is actually still too little. The burgers are freshly made, chicken is juicy (I even had two chicken breasts on my burger) and the “minced” patties are fried pink. The sauces on the burgers are incredibly tasty and the quantity is also perfect. The fries are the best fries I have ever eaten in my entire life. So crispy, salty and spicy. Just great! We also had non-alcoholic cocktails, which were also perfect. The two owners, Carmen and Frank, are really kind people (even if it doesn't seem like it at first glance). We had great conversations and also learned a lot about meat and its preparation! You can really tell how much heart and soul is put into this. The restaurant is very inconspicuous from the outside, but very stylish from the inside. We will be back and recommend this restaurant not only here on Google but also to all our friends! Wer toll und lecker essen will, ist im Restaurant "Am Bodden" genau richtig. Wir würden 5 Sterne +++++ geben. Das Essen ist geschmacklich nicht zu überbieten. Wir sind immer wieder überrascht, über die unterschiedlichen Steakvarianten. Nicht nur das Essen ist positiv zu bewerten. Auch der Service und das Ambiente sind ansprechend. Ein Geheimtipp in Lauterbach.

Ich war heute mit zwei Freunden im Hotel Am Bodden, um ein amtliches Steak zu essen. Ich habe ein 300g Rumpsteak Medium bestellt und sogar die gewünschte Kerntemperatur (63 Grad) angegeben. Als das Steak kam, war es direkt am Rand bestenfalls Medium, in der Mitte bleu (fast roh). Habe sofort reklamiert, ohne zu essen. Nach dem Nachgaren war das Steak immer noch blutig bzw. absolut rate. Weil ich nun kein Geschnetzeltes, sondern ein Steak „Medium“ bestellt hatte, habe ich dann um ein neues Steak gebeten, was mir verweigert wurde. Das zu wenig gegarte, habe ich nicht einmal als Alternative angeboten bekommen! Da meine Freunde mehr Glück hatten (und ich eingeladen war), bin ich sitzen geblieben und hungrig nach Hause gegangen. Für den Fall, dass man mich der Spinnerei bezichtigen sollte: Hier ein Foto des Steaks meines „Gastgeber“, was „Medium-well“ bestellt war. Diese Foto habe ich an eine befreundete Köchin der Spitzengastronomie geschickt und nach dem Gargrad des fotografierten Steak gefragt. Kommentar: „Weide, das lebt ja noch“… Ich denke, dass sowohl der Koch als auch der Service wesentlich adäquater mit Kritik umgehen sollten. Christian Goecke, 56

Hotel laest an Sauberkeit zu wuenschen uebrig. Handtuecher schmutzig Fliesen mit Rissen im Bad und Spinnen erwarteten uns. Fruehstueck war auch nicht der Hit. Brot hart, Camenbert zwei Tage vor Ablauf. Restaurant war mit gut. Der Burger war zu umfangreichen Kueche dennoch einfach.

Om 18.15 zijn we hier aangekomen. We hebben een paar keer gevraagd wanneer ons eten ging komen (en wij waren niet de enigen die vroegen waar ons eten bleef) : de eerste keer was het antwoord "dadelijk", de 2de keer volgde er geen reactie meer. Om 19.45 zijn wij (mijn vrouw, ik en onze 9-jarige dochter) van de pure honger doorgegaan, om op het marktplein een pakje frieten te gaan halen. Je zou dan verwachten dat het restaurant een geste doet en voor onze 3 frisdrankjes niets aanrekent, maar zelfs dat was te veel gevraagd. Als je niet in staat bent mensen van eten te voorzien, stop er dan gewoon mee !
