A really good little fish smokehouse, delicious, and with a cool, grumpy sea lion charm. It looks like a small bar, but the food is amazing. Everything is fresh and delicious! That's what makes it really charming.

The best fried potatoes in the world! The pike steak is a dream! The view of the Ryck River is also perfect. We'll be back!

The woman at the counter complained that it was a fish restaurant and there was nothing else available here... We left sad and hungry. Today we ordered 3 fish sandwiches to go and waited over 25 minutes because of poor organization... The same lady as 2 months ago was just as unfriendly. Well, I don't know if we'll be back.

Pretty good fish restaurant just next to the river and close to the beach. The menu is small, but focused on what they do really well – fish! Generous portions and great food.

enjoyed an excellent fish meal tonight in a group of 8. We all had the same and all loved it. Fish, potatoes, beens and cabbage. Accompanied by some drinks during sunset looking out across the river, all was good.

For anyone interested, this isn't a restaurant, but a traditional bistro. That means self-service, with the emphasis on "self." As a late-night guest (around 6:30 p.m. - kitchen closes at 7 p.m.), it's a real treat. The proper, sergeant-like "kitchen is closed" announcement immediately reminds you that the owner, not the customer, makes the decisions here. We opted for two fish rolls and rollmops anyway and weren't disappointed. The quite fair price for the fish rolls was completely overturned by the accompanying beer. But what the heck, it's holiday season. Demand determines the price, and the guests determine the mood of the staff. Conclusion: Fish enjoyment with an entertaining touch.

I actually wanted to eat here with my family, but it didn't happen because the so-called waitress immediately said it was too late for hot food, the kitchen closes at 7 p.m. Sorry, but then you should consider showing how long the hot food is open on your website and not giving such rude answers, which is why it's only giving one star. And we won't be eating here again.

A really good fish restaurant with reasonable prices and an open kitchen. You do have to order, pick up your plates, and pay yourself, but it's all done so smoothly, and the staff are extremely friendly and funny. We ate a perch fillet, which was perfectly prepared. We'd be happy to come back.

It's a self-service restaurant, but the price is right (!!!) and it's delicious. I didn't have the fish, but rather the inexpensive schnitzel (€5.50) with fries (€2). Around 12:30, there was even a line... You can watch the "cooking." I'd happily go again! Review from 2017 - now the schnitzel costs €9.70 and the side of fries €3.80. As of summer 2025.

It doesn't really deserve a star! Unfriendly staff, a halibut fish sandwich costs 5 euros, but you couldn't find the halibut. A tiny piece of fish that didn't even take up half the sandwich. I can only advise against a visit!

Excellent lunch. The tasty plaice fillet is highly recommended. Even without any extra side dishes, it's a good portion to fill you up. The interior can be quite noisy with lots of guests, but that somehow also adds to its charm. The outdoor area is well-used. Great staff who do their job with ease, even during a large crowd, and remain very friendly. Kudos!

First, the positive aspects: The fish is super fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. The side dishes are average, and the price is mid-range. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is the so-called service. As a paying guest, I'm not used to being yelled at in such an unfriendly and rude manner. I even got a yell for returning the dishes, which really wasn't part of my job. Greetings from the GDR in the 1980s. Once, never again.

I usually love going here because they offer a vegetarian fried fish sandwich, which is definitely something special. However, I recently had to listen to inappropriate comments and an unsolicited opinion from an employee. I've never experienced a comment on the food selection before. Especially from employees (!!!), who also benefit from selling even these "wood shavings" (to use his words). I hope something like this never happens again, and I won't recommend this restaurant in the future.

Do you love fish with fried potatoes? This is the place to go. Very rustic service. However, the ambiance doesn't invite you to linger. Eat, wipe your mouth, and you're done.

17.90 euros for plaice fillet is an ok price But you don't just want to get a children's portion. I'm really at a loss for words when it comes to the staff.

A huge portion of cod fillet with fries... it was delicious, and we had fun ordering it. And hey, we could sit outside in the sun and enjoy our meal with a cold beer.

The best place for freshly caught fish from the Baltic Sea. Honest, delicious dishes, and filling, all at reasonable prices. We'll be back again and again.

We ate today to end our holiday, unfortunately it was very disappointing, the fried potatoes were very dry, without a side salad we would have suffocated, the plaice was tiny and overcooked!!!!! Very sad, we haven't had anything like that served there before.

If you're looking for good fish, you'll definitely find it here. Very good cuisine. However, as a family with two small children (3 & 4 years old), we quickly reached the limits of hospitality. Remarkably very sharp comments from the service/kitchen ladies on the also remarkably normal behavior of small children have to be endured. Oh well...

A week ago I had 3 half herring fillets placed on a plate in the store without any other side dishes so that I could eat them straight away. I found plastic or paper packaging unnecessary and unsustainable. The lady in the shop took €12 from me for it. I thought it was outrageous and complained, but she boldly said those were her prices and one of the colleagues confirmed that. My friend ordered coleslaw and a piece of fish pie, which was weighed individually and she only paid €5, which I thought was very decent and cheap. I would advise you to pay close attention and not get taken for a ride. At least I won't buy anything from there anymore.

The best plaice I've ever eaten! Crispy on the outside, like butter on the inside. Plus nice crispy fried potatoes with bacon, a dream! Really fair price for the portion, service friendly and fast. Absolute tip, you don't often find something like this on the Baltic Sea!

Very, very nice place! Very nice service! After a few days of riding bikes with panniers, we choose this place for dinner, charge two phones without any problems, order food, a cold beer and a man comes out from behind the counter to take a photo of us! Pleasant, tasty, I highly recommend!

While seemingly chic restaurants all around offer average quality at very cheap prices and actually see the customer as a claimant despite a nice smile (at least in season), here you can get very tasty food at "pre-war prices". Sure you could tweak the ambience and pass on the costs, but it's all about delicious food, enjoying the taste... Highly recommended, also the service

When we ordered the fried fish rolls were out and there was only the expensive plate version. For the customers immediately after us - apparently well known there - there were some. By the way, fried fish is much more tasty - and cheaper and friendlier - on the other bank of the Ryck opposite...

The Hafenraucherei Wie-05 in Greifswald-Wieck was a good opportunity for our team from Billich Services in and around Schwerin to take a longer break with a great culinary refreshment. We, who not only fish but also enjoy eating fish, feel like we are in paradise here, where fish lovers are at home. Top.!

We were visiting Greifswald today and actually wanted to go to the Reusenhaus to eat a nice fried fish roll. Since it was closed, we looked for an alternative and were happy when we read on the door that there should be fish sandwiches to take away or to eat in the restaurant. Full of anticipation, we went in at 6:30 p.m. because there was a sign that said: "Hot food, until 7 p.m.". The four of us waited in the entrance area for quite a while, but were ignored by the staff. When I asked the lady at the counter if I could be seated or get something to take away, I was told that I can't tell you, I'll have to talk to my colleague first. But the colleague wasn't asked and we stood there again and waited again. After I asked again whether we could order fish sandwiches to take away, the annoyed answer came:...everything that comes out of the deep fryer is no longer available!" With a restaurant in a very good location, I would have expected the suggestion that they would offer us something else instead. But there was no reaction there either and we were simply left standing like stupid. We can't judge the food, but the service only gets one star. You should always remember that the first impression counts, unfortunately that didn't work here. We were served very politely, friendly and courteously in a restaurant on the other side. You immediately felt that the guests were warmly welcomed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: Thank you for your feedback. The Wieck 05 is a rustic, very cozy restaurant. It is self-service and you even clear the table yourself. But there is still a great price here. The food is delicious. I love the schnitzel there. There are also fries and dinosaur nuggets for children. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and very fond of children. Free parking spaces are also available. Absolute recommendation!!

A restaurant that is more than disappointing when you know that it is attached to a fish smokehouse. I could ignore the unfriendly and abrupt service if the food was great. But: fried, greasy, 60s-style salad, heartburn included. The price of €25 is not appropriate for bad snack dishes. It's a shame!

If you like fish you have to go there

A restaurant that is easy to avoid. As we walked in, a couple came towards us and said that it was hard to stand in the restaurant because of the bad air. We dared to do it anyway. You order directly at the counter. Here we were successfully ignored for minutes. This may have been due to the sign that was put up saying that the staff was taking a 30 minute break. Unfortunately, exact timing information was missing. The staff also didn't give the impression that they were really taking a short break. In general we found the tone to be rough. At some point our ordered dishes arrived. The fried fish roll I ordered turned out to be a frozen ready-made product. In addition, the fish fillet was fried for too long and at too low a temperature and was therefore too fatty. Anyone can make my wife's fries at home to the same level. Unfortunately, the ketchup we ordered was missing, as were the matching glasses for our non-alcoholic wheat beers. We didn't complain about this because we found the entire atmosphere in the restaurant to be very unpleasant. We paid a very confident price of just under 20 euros for this culinary experience. It definitely wasn't worth it.

You can eat delicious fish at still good prices. Here it is self-service and the staff is friendly.

The same applies here: from the cutter across the street to the smoker, then as a fish sandwich or fried to the guest's table. So: Simple fish restaurant with self-service -> no service, therefore no personnel costs! This means you can get delicious fish at affordable prices! We would be happy to come back because the staff is also very friendly!

Completely overpriced for soft fried herring, mashed potatoes and fried potatoes, unfortunately not homemade or not made from fresh potatoes, carrot salad and coleslaw from the pot, staff typically rough - but it doesn't make the food any better - unfortunately not tasty. Kleines Restaurant in Wieck mit einfachen guten Fischgerichten, deftigen Beilagen und freundlichem Betreiber. Kleines Manko 😉, im Gastraum fehlt das Sofa auf dem man nach dem Essen den vollen Bauch hinfläzen kann 🤣😂🤣

Der Fisch war gut. Die Damen hinter der Theke ...... naja gewöhnungsbedürftig. Unverschämt ist, wenn man dort parkt 3 Wochen später einen Brief im Briefkasten findet und mitgeteilt bekommt 34,76 Euro zu zahlen hat, weil man die Parkdauer von zwei Stunden überschritten hat. Senioren aufgepasst, schneller an der Einkaufsschlange anstehen, schneller auswählen, schneller essen, lauft schneller zur Brücke, zurück zum Sitzplatz am Wasser und zum Auto. Zwei Stunden gehen da einfach rum wie nix. Desshalb werden wir dort nichts mehr kaufen. Wir empfehlen Sie auf keinem Fall weiter.

Die besten Fischbrötchen (Matjes und Backfisch) !!!!!! Bodenständig, herzlich, sehr sympathisch und authentische Einrichtung. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
