Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Wiesbaden

The food was great. One of the waitresses was extremely rude. She ruined the atmosphere of the restaurant for me and my family. That waitress needs training on how to talk to customers. It’s a pity that I don’t feel like going back to this restaurant even though the food was actually good. P.S. It was pretty obvious how my family received a different treatment than any other table. If you are any shade darker than white, I wouldn’t recommend going there.

Great flavors! Parking is a bit difficult, because the location is prime.

Music in the background was extremely inappropriate and too loud.

Waitress was attentive and the rest of the staff was friendly. Extra points for the extra spicy habanero salsa they offer.

The food was absolutely delicious! It was no problem getting Mexican bread instead of fries for the little one, so he could roll up some chicken nuggets himself. My conclusion: I eat Mexican food too rarely. Simply good.

Questionable meh food, horrible taste, quite pricey, good atmosphere but dang. I ordered the burrito and chicken taco, and spent like €30. I may come back in the future and try something else. Generally, the food is pretty good there, but today the food was very bad. The burritos were ready in maybe 4-5 minutes. They were definitely just quickly heated in the microwave. The flatbread was completely soggy and doughy. The filling was okay, but I won't be going back anytime soon.

Hacienda Mexican Restaurant offers both Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. The Mexican side, in particular, deserves praise for its authenticity. The beans, guacamole, and salsa taste just like I remember them from my time in Mexico. Kudos to the kitchen!

So, we ended up here more or less by chance. The service was mediocre and uninspiring. The food, as many have already mentioned, was very poorly presented, but tasted okay! It's not authentic... it's more like Tex-Mex. For us, as connoisseurs, it's more of a... This was our first and last time. The price-performance ratio isn't right either.

A lovely family restaurant with a fantastic location on the banks of the Rhine. There's also a good ice cream parlor next door. The spicy chicken wings are very good. The portions are generous. The nachos are fresh, and the dip is freshly prepared.

The food was very tasty and, contrary to my experience at other Mexican restaurants, the quantity (two appetizers and one main course) was sufficient. I found the dishes, and especially the drinks, to be a bit pricey. You should budget €50-60 per person. The service was attentive and polite. All in all, it was fine.

Every year, we find several reasons to go to Wiesbaden and eat at Hacienda. We're happy to make the trip from the Lower Rhine region. For us, there's no other Mexican restaurant. We're already looking forward to it again, because it's almost that time of year. The food, the service, the value for money... Everything is just perfect!

Great for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and the like. The meat selection is rather limited. But everything is tasty and affordable.

1/5 stars – Absolute disappointment! The Hacienda in Wiesbaden disappointed me across the board. From start to finish, the visit was a complete misstep. Drinks: The cocktails tasted diluted and watery, as if they were afraid to add even a drop of alcohol or flavor. But the prices are anything but cheap – you feel like you've been ripped off. Food: Absolutely mediocre! Nothing you can't get cheaper and better elsewhere. The dishes were boring, poorly prepared, and lacked any wow factor. For that price, you expect at least a bit of creativity or quality – none at all! Service: The waiter behaved like a rude peasant: zero professionalism, no friendliness, just annoyed that he even had to work. I've rarely experienced such poor service. Ambience: Boring, uninspired, and lacking in charm. Not a pleasant atmosphere, just a dull room with a few half-heartedly thrown-on decorative elements. Conclusion: No point going there! Unfortunately, nothing to do with Mexican food! Tex-Mex at best, but not the best kind either. The tacos are the typical American hard shell things. The ingredients like lettuce, etc., are all fresh, so you can't complain, but they're definitely not Mexican.

Unfortunately I have to rewrite my entry from 2 years ago: We were there again today and what really bothered us was the music. Uncomfortably loud, always the same noise, it really bothered us massively. When we asked to turn down the music a little because it was just annoying, we got the answer: “That’s why people come here.” I can't and don't want to believe that, I've been to several Mexican restaurants and none of them play the music so extremely loudly. We wanted to eat something in peace and not a disco. No matter, we don't have to go to that store again. The competition never sleeps and serves its guests a little friendlier and with more attention.

Went there for the first time today. Very friendly, unobtrusive but attentive service! Beforehand we got corn chips with salsa dip on the house. For the main course we decided on the delicious daily special (today chimichangas). The ambience is rather dark, but the window seats in particular consist of tables with benches at the back, which means you don't feel cramped or "overheard" by those sitting next to you. The toilets are clean, the passageway and guest room are well maintained. We would love to come back. :)

Hello, I ate there in the summer of 2024 and it was super delicious. I mean, I ordered a taco salad and I was super satisfied. The waitress was also very friendly. I can highly recommend it.

Unfortunately we were a little underwhelmed with our experience. We were able to reserve a table, yet it was complete chaos until we were seated. We didn't get any drinks until we were already halfway through our meal, and it was difficult to get any server's attention. The food was ready almost too fast and relatively bland, compared to actual Mexican dishes and half the plate was either lettuce or salsa. Very nice location though and cute decor.

Actually, I don't know where or whether I should deduct stars at all. The reservation via WhatsApp was easy and direct. The service was very nice and supportive of the choice. The food was, as hoped, very tasty. We just waited (it has to be said, we only went there for dinner at 8:30 p.m. and were really hungry) for a relatively long time for our food. But it wasn't hours either. Everyone has to find out for themselves whether Mexican food tastes good to everyone. Best there.😉 Feel free to come by again.

If you can go out to eat, that's okay. Easy reservation for 6 people. Selection of Mexican classics in different variations. Food okay, but little spice for Mexican and the taste is standard. I had the impression that we made ourselves a bit unpopular with only 1 dish and 1-2 drinks each, given the frequency of the inquiries. Conclusion: you get full, it tastes okay, 3 stars

I don't understand the hype among colleagues and the good reviews. This place is barely better than the del taco in the city center. Last time I had a chimichanga with beef, it tasted ok but nothing special, the hot sauce was just hot, no flavor to it. This time I had the Nachos with guacamole, nachos dry and like cardboard. Guacamole tasted of barely anything. And the El Monterrey, flautaus with minced meat. They also tasted of nothing except unseasoned beef and fat. Their salsa is a thin tomato sauce and the taste reminds me of canned soup... For paying 15-25€ for a dish, I'd expect a bit more...

Super-friendly service, patient advice on choosing food and drinks. The compilation of a vegetarian dish was also well accompanied. The service continues to be very attentive before, during and after the meal. The portions are huge, taking leftovers with you is no problem. We will be happy to come back and will definitely use the restaurant recommend.

I've been going to Hacienda regularly for over 20 years because it became my favorite restaurant from the start. I've already eaten in several Mexican restaurants, but none have come close to the Hacienda in Biebrich. The food is simply great, the prices are totally reasonable, the staff is always friendly. Anfangs dachte ich etwas kritisch darüber weil ich sehr wählerisch bin beim Essen. Aber nach dem ich probiert hab, sehr sehr lecker. Mittlerweile eins meiner liebsten Restaurants. Würde es jeden empfehlen. Und bis das Essen kommt bekommt man aufs Haus Nachos mit Dip

It was my first visit there and it won't be my last. The service was very friendly and competent, I was there with friends and she had been there before and didn't remember what she had eaten, but she had a picture of it. The waitress hadn't really seen the picture yet so he knew what it was and I tried it, it was great. The food was very tasty, and I think it's so great that there are mixed platters, that's so great. The iced tea also tastes good and the cocktails look good, but I didn't drink any. I think the location is nice with the high rooms and the booths with the small roofs, but I didn't think the seats in the aisles were that nice. That's where we sat, and I would very much welcome a curtain in front of the entrance or something else to keep out the cold air doesn't come in like that. Otherwise, I can only recommend The Hacienda and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you

Ordered a salad and a beer. We were immediately confronted with the question of whether we were going on a diet. Fans I a little inappropriate. This gives the feeling that you were unhappy because you didn't order as much. Bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately, the salad itself wasn't the real winner. All together good. Yes. The carrots were soggy, how long had they been lying around? The tomatoes had a rather imported watery taste. Too bad. But the dressing was excellent. The cool homemade lampshades in the style of sombreros made a big difference in my opinion.

This was the first time in this restaurant for me and my wife and i know, for sure, we will return back often. The service was great, the people from the restaurant were super nice (speaking English also). The atmosphere is great and especially when they turn on all the lights inside and latino style music too. But the main star is the food, i have been all over the US and a lot in west coast and i love Mexican food. This is the closest you can eat that's similar to real Mexican meals, and it was so tasty! Everything, from the starters to main meal. There are a lot of flavors on one plate, so good. I also recommend margaritas, you cant go wrong there with them. Me and my wife will return here for sure.
