Great service and great food. Very fast service despite a larger group.

I don't understand the hype among colleagues and the good reviews. This place is barely better than the del taco in the city center. Last time I had a chimichanga with beef, it tasted ok but nothing special, the hot sauce was just hot, no flavor to it. This time I had the Nachos with guacamole, nachos dry and like cardboard. Guacamole tasted of barely anything. And the El Monterrey, flautaus with minced meat. They also tasted of nothing except unseasoned beef and fat. Their salsa is a thin tomato sauce and the taste reminds me of canned soup... For paying 15-25€ for a dish, I'd expect a bit more...

Traveled to Wiesbaden to meet some friends and this place made our night! Well, actually, it was the bartender, Waleed Ahmad! What a gem he was! Making us laugh and enjoy ourselves so much! Thank you for the great times and putting up with us!!

Super-friendly service, patient advice on choosing food and drinks. The compilation of a vegetarian dish was also well accompanied. The service continues to be very attentive before, during and after the meal. The portions are huge, taking leftovers with you is no problem. We will be happy to come back and will definitely use the restaurant recommend.

I've been going to Hacienda regularly for over 20 years because it became my favorite restaurant from the start. I've already eaten in several Mexican restaurants, but none have come close to the Hacienda in Biebrich. The food is simply great, the prices are totally reasonable, the staff is always friendly. It was my first visit there and it won't be my last. The service was very friendly and competent, I was there with friends and she had been there before and didn't remember what she had eaten, but she had a picture of it. The waitress hadn't really seen the picture yet so he knew what it was and I tried it, it was great. The food was very tasty, and I think it's so great that there are mixed platters, that's so great. The iced tea also tastes good and the cocktails look good, but I didn't drink any. I think the location is nice with the high rooms and the booths with the small roofs, but I didn't think the seats in the aisles were that nice. That's where we sat, and I would very much welcome a curtain in front of the entrance or something else to keep out the cold air doesn't come in like that. Otherwise, I can only recommend The Hacienda and I look forward to my next visit. Thank you

Very nice service, all questions about the food were answered in a friendly and competent manner. Unfortunately the music isn't typically Mexican, so that would be the missing point. But we still like to come back and let ourselves be pampered.

Ordered a salad and a beer. We were immediately confronted with the question of whether we were going on a diet. Fans I a little inappropriate. This gives the feeling that you were unhappy because you didn't order as much. Bitter aftertaste. Unfortunately, the salad itself wasn't the real winner. All together good. Yes. The carrots were soggy, how long had they been lying around? The tomatoes had a rather imported watery taste. Too bad. But the dressing was excellent. The cool homemade lampshades in the style of sombreros made a big difference in my opinion.

The restaurant was full, hence a lot of noise. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. Plus, it's very affordable!

Spontaneously and unexpectedly a really nice evening... because we didn't have a reservation and were able to spontaneously try one or two drinks alongside the delicious nachos. After a hard day, the evening saved our mood / week and was a much-needed and really nice break! THANKS. WE WILL COME BACK

This was the first time in this restaurant for me and my wife and i know, for sure, we will return back often. The service was great, the people from the restaurant were super nice (speaking English also). The atmosphere is great and especially when they turn on all the lights inside and latino style music too. But the main star is the food, i have been all over the US and a lot in west coast and i love Mexican food. This is the closest you can eat that's similar to real Mexican meals, and it was so tasty! Everything, from the starters to main meal. There are a lot of flavors on one plate, so good. I also recommend margaritas, you cant go wrong there with them. Me and my wife will return here for sure.

For me the best Mexican restaurant in Mainz/Wiesbaden. Great taste, decent portions at a fair price. My highlight is the homemade lemonade. Gluten-free is also offered. I'm always happy and go there regularly

We were in a group for a tequila tasting. Very interesting, great selection of many very high quality tequilas, each accompanied by a small snack. Great evening, lots of laughter and enjoyment - Hacienda is already the best Mexican in Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt.

We've been going to the Hascienda in Biebrich for many, many years and we get what we want every time :-) You should definitely plan for these wonderful hot "Buffalo" wings and then as a main course everything is always so delicious :-) Family-friendly, child-friendly and always worth a visit.

We shared the hacienda combinada for lunch with some additional fries. It was very good and a good portion. Sitting outside with view on the river and nice service. We can recommend coming here.

Wir wählten das Lokal wegen der Lage & der Möglichkeit für unsere größere Gruppe zu reservieren. Jeder von uns wählte zumindest eine Hauptmahlzeit und ein Getränk. - Während die weibl. Servicekraft aufmerksam, freundlich & bemüht war, waren die beiden männlichen Servicekräfte unaufmerksam, träge & ihre Freundlichkeit hielt sich in Grenzen. Sie wirkten überfordert & - obwohl das Lokal einschl. Außenanlage nur ca. zu 1/3 belegt war - "unlustig". - Jeder wählte ein anderes Gericht. - Obwohl es auch Stimmen gab, dass das selbst gewählte Gericht "ganz OK" sei, kann ich für mich & meine Freundin feststellen, dass die von uns gewählten Gerichte weder geschmackvoll zubereitet waren, noch der uns bekannten typischen Zubereitung der mexikanischen Küche entsprachen. - Das bestellte alkoholfreie Hefeweizen hatte Zimmertempertur. Die Zapfbiere waren jedoch gekühlt. - Positiv: als "amuse-gueule" gab es Tortilla-Chips mit eine Salsa-Dip. Der Dip jedoch - geschmacklos- und salzlastig - war kein Genuss. => ich gehe davon aus, dass keiner aus der Gruppe wiederkommen wird....

Große Speisekarte, mit reichlich Auswahl an Essen und auch Getränken. Hier wird tatsächlich realistisch zum Lokalnamen verkauft. Es gibt jeden Tag ein anderes Tagesangebot, bei dem man die wirklich großen Portionen zu günstigen Preisen erhält. Zudem gibt es eine Happy Hour bei Getränken. Der Service war schnell, das Essen ging auch wirklich fix. Wir waren mit knapp 20 Personen vor Ort und das Essen kam trotzdem für alles zeitnah. Es handelt sich hier meines Erachtens nicht um ein Lokal bei dem man schick essen geht, sondern hier steht das gesellige Zusammensein ganz klar im Vordergrund, bei moderaten Preisen. Deshalb 4 von 5 Punkten.

Location was great, food was delicious. However, the waiters didn't notice us even though we were sitting opposite the bar. After 1 hour we still hadn't been asked if we wanted any more drinks. Hand signals and shouts were not heard. We got a menu for dessert when we asked, but then no one came...

I should have known that Mexican food in Germany would be a little suspect. I had a burrito covered in chili, the flavor was good, but I didn't expect to need a steak knife to cut through the tortilla. Between the 4 of us, the enchiladas, burritos, and chimichangas all seemed like they were premade and nuked so long they were welded to the plates. Good service, though. Not surprised that no one spoke Spanish. They had a good selection of tequila and a few Mexican beers, so that's a plus, just not very good food.

Prices and food were ok. Staff seemed a bit listless, but were served quickly. You can sit outside with a view of the Rhine. Unfortunately, the street in between is also very loud.

Good authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Anyone who is lucky enough to get a seat at the partitioned tables by the window facing the Rhine can enjoy Mexican delicacies in private and in a suitable atmosphere.

I was there with a friend and stopped in spontaneously, sat in the outdoor area. Very nice staff and the food was good in terms of the products, unfortunately I was missing the full love of the dish, sour cream without seasoning as a topping, seasoning was missing such as mint , lime, chili, cinnamon, coriander... it was a meal that was okay but the reason to come back was missing. Mexican cuisine is rarely special in Wiesbaden and Hacienda has the potential to become a Mexican restaurant, which makes it one What makes it special is the location, the system, the products, just that certain something is missing to make it very good and "authentic". Unfortunately, we had to ask for the bill three times and our drinks remained empty for a long time, but everything turned out very nicely well done but ultimately just sufficient.

I have been in Germany for the past seven years and have given up on finding good tex-mex. I have been hearing about hacienda for years, but the timing was never right until today. The nachos were spot on, always get two. The enchiladas were really good and made perfect. The only thing that we weren't fans of were the tortilla chips, but whatever they were free. I will definitely be going here again. Well done.

Delicious food and the vegetarian burrito can also be made vegan and tastes delicious! The chicken wings in particular are also very good. The staff is nice and helpful.

We come to the Hacienda more or less regularly. We were always very satisfied with the food. Unfortunately not this time. Mushy chimichanga with no significant taste and not the usual quality. Correct the stars if it's delicious next time. Service was ok.

Das Essen hat uns nicht begeistert und wir werden kein zweites Mal hier essen. Große Speisekarte, auch mit relativ großer Auswahl für Vegetarier. Aber die Qualität des Essens hat leider nicht gepasst. Der Kellner war sehr entspannt und gemütlich, wir mussten sehr lange warten, bis wir überhaupt bestellen konnten.

This is likely the best mexican place I've been to in germany. The food is a little germanized, but not too bad. You can get legitimately spicy salsa if you ask for it.

Always worth a trip. We come from Linz am Rhein and go to Wiesbaden every few years. The Hacienda is then a must.

I have eaten at the Hacienda many times. The waitresses are always very nice and attentive. The food is always delicious and well seasoned. For me personally one of the best Mexicans in Wiesbaden.

I chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. I often and really enjoy Mexican food. Unfortunately, this was pretty bland, the taste was only solid and the service wasn't good either. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Yesterday I was at the hacienda with my parents and we discovered that my parents have enjoyed coming here for over 30 years and I have enjoyed coming here for as long as I can remember. You rarely write a review for the locations where you have been a regular guest for so long, which is a shame because there are at least good reasons for your long loyalty. The ambience and the service are great, I am a vegetarian and have intolerances which are always taken into account, so “extra sausages” are not a problem 😉 The owner is very personable and he added the icing on the cake to last night's experience. Thank you very much for that, that was a great way to round off the evening. 😊 The food is really tasty and reasonably priced, my personal highlight (I think it's been unbeaten for 20 years) is the tacco salad, but there are also many other dishes that are very good. My parents eat meat and I only remember praise and happy faces. I always enjoy coming here.

The service was ok, as was the location. Whoever writes here "authentic Mexican food" probably doesn't know anything Mexican apart from Corona beer. Salt was used - as the only spice. The salsa was chopped canned tomatoes and spring onions, the nachos were ok, the cheese sauce tasted more like cheese cream than cheese. Main dishes without any significant taste. The chimichangas were not fried until crispy. Generally great for a canteen and shocking that most guests find it so good.

Great food and a mega homemade lemonade. The portions were decent and we were well full. Unfortunately the dishes lacked spiciness and salt (for my taste). Speaking of salt: unfortunately, so are the prices. For 4 churros with a one-ball, just under 9 euros, I think it's a bit too much now. Yes, increased costs and inflation affect us all, but I found that disproportionately expensive. All in all, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates and wants to enjoy Mexican cuisine!

We were looked at unfriendly when we went in, weren't greeted and had to wait a long time for service. The cocktails were weak and the food was underwhelming. Standard quality, cheap iceberg lettuce and unconvincing sauces made this visit a unique, but not recommended, experience.

Unfortunately, our visit started rather unpleasantly as we were neither greeted nor offered a seat. So after we first had to make sure that we could even sit down, we got the card. The world's best spare ribs and I've tried a lot of them. So tender and the divine sauce/BBQ simply indescribable. Appetizers and other dishes are also very good and come here frequently and often with friends.

Food is okay, the special touch is missing. Been several times in Mexico and can't verify the offered original taste. Pulled pork is pulled and not served in whole pieces. Cheaper versus others places and larger portions. More quantity versus quality I would say.

I'm writing a review for my mother (87 years old), who is a regular here and tells me that the staff is always super nice to her. Every now and then I accompany her and find the tortilla chips and salsa to start off very tasty. My mother really likes the spare ribs. I think it's nice when older people are served politely, hence 5*.
