Small and very cozy. Delicious food and good prices. We've been there several times, sometimes as a couple, sometimes as a group of four, and even once as a group of eight.

What a pleasant surprise! We had an excellent dining experience here. The sushi is outstanding, made with super fresh fish and perfectly prepared rolls. Everything tasted fresh and high-quality. We were also positively surprised by the Thai dishes, which were full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. It’s great that the restaurant offers more than just sushi, and that these additional dishes are just as good. Overall, the quality exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended if you’re in Cologne and looking for great sushi and delicious Asian cuisine. We would definitely come back!

Best sushi I've ever had. It was a super small restaurant. We didn't know what to expect at first, but it turned out to be amazing sushi. The prosecco was also delicious!

Unfortunately, despite having a table reservation, we had to wait outside for 30 minutes in sub-zero temperatures only to find that guests who were already eating were being moved and we would have had to sit by the door. Sorry, but that's completely unacceptable.

The rolls were delicious. Only the nigiri and sandwich fish were average. The place was cool and small, and the staff talked loudly among themselves, which was a bit distracting. But the rolls were excellent.

Delicious sushi and friendly staff. There are also other dishes on the menu for those who prefer not to eat sushi. We noticed that a lot of the sushi had cream cheese, but we found plenty of it on the menu without it.

Good music, lovely people and very very good sushi

This place is amazing! The rolls are simply top-notch and incredibly delicious. We finally found rolls that use real tuna, not paste. There aren't many seats, but that only adds to the cozy atmosphere and makes the place quieter and more enjoyable.

Had a great time coming here! We ordered multiple rolls which were all super delicious! The salmon sashimi was also to die for! Will definitely be coming back here anytime I'm in Köln. The people were super nice and we even talked to them about our city, vacation and other things. I was even allowed to film in their restaurant and there was this super cool motorbike in the window that one of the chefs talked to me about. They were super welcoming and nice. And I even got a gift at the end!

Pretty decent sushi. They even have Gluten Free soy sauce / tamari. Their menu did not have the most accurate labels for GF foods (some items that clearly have wheat, like ramen noodles or teriyaki, did not have the gluten marker). Simple maki and nigiri felt like the safest option for me. Price point was very reasonable and nice staff.

Absolutely outrageous!!! I reserved a table and arrived to find they were closed. Even though I had a reservation and received confirmation!!!! Nobody answered the phone!!!!!!

Despite a confirmed reservation, the restaurant was closed upon our arrival. No notification, no cancellation, no one reachable – very unreliable. This is no way to treat guests.

We had very good and, above all, creative sushi 🍣 in various styles. The Tom Kha Gai appetizer was also delicious. Prices were commensurate with the quality. Attentive and friendly staff. It was our first time here today… but we'll definitely be back! 👍

The sushi they make is spectacular. They may take a while to serve, and that's something they need to improve, but they're very helpful. I definitely want to go back. They only have a few tables, and without a reservation, you can't go; there's no room. There are three tables inside, and outside, there are a few more.

It's rare that I give five stars without hesitation—but this place more than deserves it. A fantastic restaurant with equally fantastic service that perfectly combines friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere is unique and invites you to linger. We ate here with several people. The selection is excellent. The food was also very good. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the food and drinks. Only the noisy street in front of the restaurant isn't so nice. But we will definitely come here again.

A small, fine restaurant. You feel like you've briefly immersed yourself in the world of Tokyo. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was incredibly delicious. Even our children were more than thrilled. Unfortunately, we don't live here, otherwise we (or certainly our boys 🤭) would be descending on this place almost every day. At first, I wasn't sure where we'd ended up—a tiny restaurant with an interesting selection of music (at the time), but we sat down and were served kindly. Once we'd chosen our food, everything was freshly made a la minute. You could really taste the difference between fresh and all-you-can-eat sushi. The salmon melted in your mouth, and everything was pure. The fresh lemonade you could order is also highly recommended! We received friendly service; don't expect high-end service, but the food and the friendliness were so worth it.

Tables were immediately wiped. Despite the small kitchen, the food arrived relatively quickly and was beautifully presented with radish strips and baked or fried grated sweet potatoes. Very nicely presented and incredibly delicious. I had the homemade lemonade, which wasn't too sweet and flavored with mint. It came with avocado, kanpyo maki, and veggie fried rolls. I highly recommend it!

The food? Simply delicious! Fresh, lovingly prepared, and with a delicate balance of flavors. You can simply taste the passion that goes into the cooking here. But what really impressed me was the openness to improvement. They actively asked if they had any suggestions on where they could improve, or what they might want as a guest. This honest ability to accept criticism and the desire to continue to develop deserve the utmost respect.

Great place. Small, cozy restaurant with a summer terrace. The food is always fresh, sushi and rolls are aesthetic and have a good amount of fish. It feels like it was cooked for yourself. It was really bad. We ordered rolls - they fell apart as if there was no rice for sushi, the rolls tasted good, but how can you eat them if you can't take them?! The waiter made a mistake without asking, and of course we paid for his joint. The dessert with ice cream inside (mochi) was unreasonably small and was brought at the same time as all the dishes - of course the ice cream melted immediately. No one even brought a napkin. After we took the cutlery, the basket with napkins was taken away. Nothing was embarrassing? We ordered gyoza - they were stale. Of the entire order, only the Dim Sam, soy sauce and cola with lime turned out to be tasty. And the question is why is there a rating of 4.7? Were we served so badly because we don't speak German? 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The selection of sushi creations was diverse and creative – from classic versions to exciting original creations. Each plate was a small work of art, and you could taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. The organization was also excellent. Despite the group size, the service was smooth, friendly, and attentive. In conclusion: Hachik Sushi completely impressed us with its culinary offerings – a true highlight for every sushi fan. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. The crispy duck ramen was really good – the duck was freshly roasted and the soup was very flavorful. However, the filling was a bit small in comparison. Overall, the price was reasonable at €15.
