I recently visited the Hachiko restaurant in Cologne and was very satisfied. The atmosphere was modern and inviting, ideal for a relaxing evening. The sushi was fresh and tasted excellent. I was particularly impressed by the maki rolls and the nigiri - the combination of flavors was simply great. I would like to give a little praise to the waiter Tang. He was friendly and attentive and gave me some helpful recommendations that made my visit even more enjoyable. Minus point: The store is relatively small. Nevertheless, I can only recommend Hachiko. I look forward to my next visit!

On the day we arrived in Cologne today, we were guided by Tripvisador and found this small restaurant. The three of us got a table without a reservation, even though the restaurant was already full. The service was very friendly and the food and drinks were delivered quickly. We had a sushi platter for 3 people plus miso soup and a portion of rice noodles. Everything was very fresh and super tasty. We would come again. The only deduction is because of the narrowness… but the food definitely makes up for it…. Best regards from the Baltic Sea 😀

Terrific. The shop seems a bit small at first, but that makes everything feel more homey. Service and food were first class, whether it was the starter or sushi and pho: everything was of great quality, especially fish and meat. Children were kindly provided with some crab chips and the owner also had time for a quick snack. All in all: great!

By far the best sushi shop in Cologne! No matter what you eat on site, everything tastes more than just fresh & that's unbelievable ✨😍 The kitchen can be seen and is so open that you can watch how your food is being prepared, and all the employees are super friendly and accommodating. I've been there so many times and never had anything to complain about, absolutely recommended and a top hot spot 🤩🤩🤩 the prices are more than appropriate for this freshness but still so incredibly cheap for this freshness 😍 I just go to Cologne every time For this shop 😍😍😍 from 6 p.m. you should definitely reserve in advance, it is small but nice ❤️ the toilets are in the basement which can be reached via a spiral staircase, unfortunately that is not barrier-free but still no reason to avoid the shop 😍

Small but nice! Looking for a good Asian restaurant after the theater we found Hachiko Sushi. We were very positively surprised. We got absolutely delicious and authentic Vietnamese food (no sushi). The prices were surprisingly low - but the boss's hospitality was very high, which we really appreciate these days. We will definitely come back after our next visit to the theater. Wir waren am frühen Abend zum Sushi essen und haben einen guten Platz in dem kleinen Lokal bekommen. Die Sitzmöbeln sind sehr bequem. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns eine Sushi 🍣 und Sashimi Platte zusammengestellt und waren über die Qualität sehr begeistert. Absolut 💯 tolles und frisch zubereitetes Sushi 🍱 Ein Besuch lohnt sich!!!

We were here for the first time and loved it! We had spring rolls, sushi and a salmon main course. All the dishes were super tasty and fresh, and beautifully presented. The homemade iced tea is also recommended. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The only small disadvantage: on hot days it is quite warm in the small restaurant. Still absolutely recommended!

evening meal at Hachiko. Small cosy place, walked in and got a table fine. Staff were friendly and attentive. Large choice of sushi dishes, Thai and soup noodles. Ordered pad Thai, Unagi (eel), crispy duck ramen and karage. Duck was lovely, broth needed more flavour and noodles. Rest was tasty. Beer was reasonable price. Nice meal.

It tastes excellent. The miso soup is well seasoned, the sushi is tightly rolled, the fish is very fresh. Even though we are already full, we could still eat more. In addition, the waitress is very nice.

For me that was perfect! Best sushi I’ve had and miso soup was ideal. Place has a soul. It is not big, it is not super fancy but it surely has good, friendly people running it and amazing food. I will definitely get back there whenever I am in Koln.

I was in town for one night and fancied some Japanese food - Hachiko did not disappoint. I got some edamame, gyoza, Mr. Tuna crunchy roll, and a couple of beers for €33. Friendly helpful staff (who also speak English) served everything up quickly and the food tasted great, I'd not had a deep fried roll before but it was delicious. I would go again.

The waiters hardly speak German or English.

Vandaag heerlijk gegeten bij Hachiko. Wat een leuk restaurantje. Het eten was echt super lekker. We hebben sushi, miso soep, gyoza en donburi gegeten en alles was heerlijk en kraakvers. Absolute aanrader!! Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en de kok kwam zelf vragen of het lekker was. Ik ga hier zeker vaker eten. Top!!!!

We saw the restaurant as we were driving past and spontaneously went there. Getting a table was no problem. We only had sushi. It's definitely some of the best sushi I've eaten so far. Everything was very fresh and the selection is also large. We'd love to come back.

I ordered Hachiko Duck and the duck was over fried and the veggies with it did not go well, the sauce was smelling like raw duck meat, was not at all appetizing. We also ordered pad thai. But it was soaked in water, the chicken was okay but no seasoning and only peanuts could be tasted, it was sweet and overcooked. The sushi was not fresh at all. The service was good however

We booked through the app and when we got there they told us that we didn't have a place and that app reservations were not valid. They would have to cancel the reservation service through the app if they are not going to use it.

Small but fine sushi restaurant, service friendly and fast. Sushi is simply amazing! Excellent value for money! Fish is fresh and plentiful (not thinly sliced, not sparsely processed). The only drawback: if you smoke in front of the door, the smoke drifts into the restaurant, which unfortunately affected the enjoyment experience. Still absolutely recommended and definitely worth a visit if you want to eat delicious sushi in Cologne.

The food was delicious and I can't compare it to any other sushi restaurant. The service was really good and we got our food almost immediately. Some of the drinks were overpriced, however, the food price, quality, and quantity compensated for everything. I liked the special side food on every dish which was like a little bonus, I liked it pretty much.

Service very attentive and friendly, food delicious and not expensive. Restaurant is small, so it might be better to reserve a table.

We had made reservations by phone for 10 people, but ended up being 11. No problem, and the friendly staff put the tables together for us so that the whole group could sit together. All orders went wonderfully and the food and its presentation were really good! Sushi selection large and very tasty, but the other dishes weren't inferior either! Everyone was completely satisfied! A big thank you to the whole team, and we'll be happy to come back next time we visit Cologne!

I have eaten sushi in different cities and countries. This place is in the top three among them. And in my opinion the best sushi restaurant in cologne. I would like to thank everyone for the service, quality and fresh products, reasonable prices, excellent service, and extraordinary tastes. If you like sushi, you should definitely try this place. You can also take away. We enjoyed these delicacies right next to the Rhine.
