HA TIEN in Regensburg

We arrived relatively early in the evening and were able to get a table without any trouble. We were initially a little overwhelmed by the menu, as you can/have to put together almost all the components yourself. When the food arrived, we were very satisfied. We both had delicious rice noodle dishes, albeit different ones. Upon request, they also provided some good, spicy, homemade chili oil for extra heat. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We'll be back!

I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and was very satisfied overall. The menu is large and varied – we ordered Asian noodles, and they were truly delicious: a generous portion, a great combination of ingredients, and everything was top-notch. I especially liked the ordering system using the QR code on the table – modern, fast, and very convenient. After scanning, you can not only view the ingredients of each dish and order directly from your phone, but also add extra ingredients to your meal, which is very convenient and allows you to customize the food to your liking. The staff was also very friendly and polite. The only downside: it was very crowded. The restaurant's interior is quite small, so it fills up quickly. Because of this, we were seated outside – in the rain. It was already autumn and quite cold, so it wasn't particularly pleasant outside. I therefore recommend arriving early to ensure you get a table inside during the colder months.

The food was a 10/10 in terms of taste and appearance!!! I've hardly had a meal as good in the area. Unfortunately, it loses one point because the music is far too loud. It almost feels like a music bar, and I say that as a young man. It's not a quiet atmosphere for conversation. And ordering via QR code is a bit impersonal. As soon as you've finished eating, the server immediately comes with the debit card, without you wanting to pay so quickly. It felt like you should quickly make room for the next customers, as there are relatively few seats. Tip: enjoy your food slowly, otherwise you'll indirectly get thrown out 😉 but otherwise, great!

A little Asian gem! 🌸 The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, always with a smile and a rare level of attentiveness. The service was fast and attentive, the food arrived promptly and was simply delicious – freshly prepared and with great care. The atmosphere reminded me of an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, almost as if you were sitting in Vietnam or in a small Tokyo restaurant: cozy, atmospheric, and lovingly decorated. We found a seat immediately and felt at home from the very beginning. A super charming restaurant that I can recommend to anyone who appreciates authentic Asian cuisine and first-class service.

I ordered Tom Yum soup today. Unfortunately, it wasn't spicy, even though it was advertised as such. Also, there was only carrot in the soup. It felt like carrot soup. The only positive thing was the large shrimp.

A Regensburg classic, a must-visit! Really excellent Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients and great spices and herbs. The dishes are perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. The service is friendly and fast. You can sit inside or outside, or simply order takeaway. It's just as suitable for a quick pho for lunch as it is for a relaxed dinner. We had a varied selection of starters and main courses and can recommend everything.

Okay... Honestly? Insanely delicious! I've NEVER eaten such a delicious dish (crispy duck with egg noodles and teriyaki). I can never eat Asian food anywhere else!

A very nice little restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. They also serve bubble tea, but only at certain times. The restaurant is located in a small alley, a bit off the beaten track, and therefore very quiet. The prices are more than reasonable; the portion was very large, and at first we thought we had ordered the larger, more expensive version.

Very good food in a modern setting. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. I find the system for customizing the dishes better than the usual menu selection. You can also order at your table via QR code. We recommend coming right when it opens, otherwise you might have to wait a bit for a table due to the popularity of the place.

We ordered from Hatien via UberEats. The food arrived as promised, the driver was very friendly, and the food was hot and well packaged. Super delicious Pad Thai with really large black tiger shrimp – super tasty, and the appetizer platter was also very good. I would order again in a heartbeat!

Couldn’t rate this place higher. Has been my local (favourite) restaurant/takeaway for two years, not once have I ever had a complaint. Even in the busiest times the service is always excellent. Extremely friendly and personable staff. The menu has a great selection, tastes great every time and the prices are very reasonable. Oh yes, Ha Tien... This little bistro stuck in my mind after my first visit to Regensburg's old town. A Vietnamese restaurant with a cool atmosphere, I'll remember it forever. After moving to the city, it quickly became my number one food spot, and I ate there regularly until I opened a second location. What happened?! How could the quality of the food have declined so drastically? For a still-high price, you get a dish that either tastes like nothing or is completely oversalted. "I'll give it another chance," I thought to myself at least 15 times, and was disappointed every time. On my last visit, I ordered my favorite dish, "Pho Ga," which was an insult to all Vietnamese people. When I told the waitress in Vietnamese that the soup wasn't tasty, she laughed, as if she knew what she was serving me. Perhaps the cuisine has been adapted to German customers, but German customers also deserve some taste. It is with a heavy heart that I must advise against my former favorite restaurant.

My favorite restaurant in Regensburg and the only place I have found in Germany so far where the Padthai tastes as good as in Thailand.

If I order a starter and a main course, I don't want everything served at the same time. Digital ordering doesn't seem to work very well here. It's a shame, because the food quality was good.

The shop was packed with people on Friday. The orange paper umbrellas on the ceiling felt like a fusion of Vietnamese and Chinese styles. Saucengerichte Tofuwürfeln was rice soaked in slightly thickened soy sauce. It was so salty that I could hardly finish it.

We were at Ha Tien for the first time yesterday and loved it! First impression when ordering at the counter was really extremely friendly! The food came quickly and tasted great! We will definitely come regularly from now on and eat up and down the menu. The location is beautifully decorated. We really liked the 'waving cats' and the many little details and how the great food met our taste exactly.

Cozy little restaurant centrally in the old town. The tables are in different sizes, so that you can always get a seat as a group or alone. The food is put together from combinable components and ordered at the counter. This means the selection is very large. Drinks are available from the drinks fridge. The facility is beautifully designed with Asian decoration. Only the leaflet display board, which in my opinion showed some random information, was a bit out of place. The food is good. Unfortunately, due to the size of the guest room, there are no toilets.

After a short wait during the lunch rush in front of the restaurant, we quickly got one of the few tables. Shortly afterwards the freshly prepared food arrived. Very tasty and a large portion for a reasonable price! The atmosphere in the small dining room is also very cozy.

I was here recently and I really love it! The food was incredibly tasty, the portions were just right, and the selection is huge - everyone can find something they want here. Also absolutely fair in terms of price! The restaurant itself feels more like a takeaway as many pick up their food and there are only about 5-6 tables. So it's rather cozy, but the ambience is still nice. I was particularly impressed by the speed – despite peak times, our food came to the table super quickly. The service was also great, friendly and attentive. All in all, a clear recommendation - if you're looking for good food at fair prices, this is the place for you!

God, I LOVE the HA TIEN and have known him forever! For so long, it was still a snack bar for everything with white tiles. But what has happened to this business in the last few years is simply insane. UNFORTUNATELY, the shop is very small, which means that seats are sometimes rare and if you manage to get a seat, you may end up sharing your table with strangers. But so be it. As soon as you sit in it, you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is very cozy. And the food is sooooo good! I vow to try it every time, but every time it's fried noodles with chop suey sauce. I just can't help it! And what I also think is great is that they have kimchie, even though it isn't explicitly listed anywhere, and it tastes really good too! The HA TIEN really has the potential to become a chain. People would run into them! I look forward to every visit there. A taste explosion is guaranteed every time. As a Regensburg resident or tourist you have to visit it. Please stay as you are! A very clear recommendation from me!

Small but mighty! The shop is for people with a poor sense of direction, as no one will get lost in here, but the superbly seasoned food and the attractive design of the restaurant are unique. At the counter while ordering we had a little chat about culinary tourism in Berlin and we are sure we will be back because someone here knows their craft!

Das Essen wurde über Ubereats bestellt und kam nie an, es wurde eine falsche viel billigere Bestellung geliefert, der Fahrer sagte bei sofortiger Beschwerde er habe nichts anderes und wollte die ofensichtlich falsche Lieferung nicht zurücknehmen) ( Ayghyan Kehlheimer Kennzeichen) hat es wohl „anderweitig verteilt „ oder es wurde nie angefertigt……) Wir haben dann später nochmal bestellt und es selbst abgeholt. Das Essen ist in Ordnung allerdings rate ich strikt von einer Order über Ubereats ab , 125 Euro ohne Essen und ohne Erstattung der Kosten ( der schlechteste Kundenservice den ich je erlebt habe, meines Erachtens Betrug, die eingereichten Beschwerden haben sich automatisch von meinem Account gelöscht , allerdings habe ich sie fotographisch dokumentiert) Als Restaurant würde ich mit diesem Lieferdienst nicht zusammenarbeiten, ich kann auch nicht ausschließen, das die Order nie erstellt wurde, Konsequenz ist, ich werde nie wieder bestellen, rate auch jedem davon ab und empfehle ggf nur noch vor Ort essen

We came on a recommendation and were lucky to get a table. The atmosphere is really beautiful and you immediately feel at home. Because I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture of the food. It was extremely tasty. We had Pho Hanoi, Laksa, Noodle Soup and Tom Kha Soup as starters. Pho Hanoi was very tasty, but quite spicy. Which surprised me a bit because there was nothing about it anywhere. I really like spicy food so it was fine for me. The Tom-Kha soup was incredibly delicious! All in all, definitely worth a visit to Regensburg again.

Einfach mega lecker und authentisch. Wir hatten sowohl die gemischten Häppchen (Frühlingsrollen mit und ohne Fleisch sowie Teigtaschen) als auch eine pho mit rind und ein rotes curry. Scharf heisst scharf, aber dennoch ist es geschmacklich unglaublich lecker. Die scharfe untermalt den Geschmack perfekt. Wir sind sehr begeistert und werden gerne wieder kommen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind modern und ein Mittelding aus Restaurant und Imbiss. Sehr stylisch.

If you’re around the Regensburg area and looking for a truly exceptional Asian fusion dining experience, Ha Tien is a must-visit! My family and I dined here recently, and every dish we tried left us more than satisfied. The ambiance is low-key, which makes it perfect for a cozy meal. We ordered the Laksa Pho, duck with peanut sauce, and fried noodles with chicken for our daughter. Each dish was crafted to perfection. The Laksa Pho had an incredible blend of flavors—sweet, sour, with a delightful hint of onion—that paired beautifully with the shrimp, tofu, and chicken. The duck was superb as well, with a tender texture and no overwhelming aftertaste, which really set it apart from other Asian restaurants I’ve tried. Our daughter loved her fried noodles; they were cooked just right, neither dry nor chewy. The only downside? The space is quite limited. It’s such a popular spot that a larger space would certainly help accommodate all eager diners. Despite this, Ha Tien is a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!
