Value for money, he considered that the prices are inflated and the menu is very well prepared but in my opinion it sells smoke. I ordered the fried battered avocado, I don't recommend it, it's practically eating fried flour because what's inside the avocado is tiny and it's cold inside, they give you very little amount for what you pay. Otherwise it is a nice place with a good atmosphere.

The taste of the food was very good. However, price performance does not match. Every detail costs extra. The younger service staff are more on the ball and have more of a focus on the guest than the “older” ones. We had made a reservation, stated the anniversary and sat at a cat table. Several guests (2 people) who arrived shortly afterwards were given a 4-person table without a reservation - that annoyed me to no end. Of course I asked the waiter about it, he was annoyed but there was no great apology. Conclusion: The evening was not worth 127.00 euros (2 people). It's a shame that the restaurant used to be different!

We had a wonderful wedding celebration at Gutierrez with Choukri and his amazing team. The food was great and very tasty and there was never a lack of drinks. Christine, #kleinesundfeines, who took care of the decoration, also did everything from planning to implementation to our complete satisfaction. We look forward to your next visit!!!

Light and shadow Really nice atmosphere - inside and out. Excellent Canarian potatoes with excellent mojo. But: very inattentive service, constantly busy with the cell phone later in the evening, so the drink order wasn't passed on - you had to get up to pay. Above all, it was this reaction from the waiter that decided that we would not become regular customers: the pork fillet was tough and dry, the taste was borderline - my wife couldn't eat it at all, but had to pay for it in full in the end. As a “replacement” the waiter simply offered the same (!) dish again. But that wouldn't have made anything better, so my wife preferred to order a small dessert. The waiter immediately explained that he wasn't prepared to book the dessert on the house - the only thing we could have was a coffee. We didn't ask for compensation at all, but a small dessert would probably have been appropriate in this case. Especially since the restaurant knew from the online booking that it was my wife's birthday that day. One expects - and also receives elsewhere - a corresponding gesture anyway. Too bad about the light.

The food was very tasty! We paid around €130 for two adults with one child and no wine. The staff is friendly. The acoustics are a disaster when the store is full. The tables are placed far too close together, so we sat with the backs of our chairs next to us. Uncomfortable! Hardly any parking spaces available for the size of the restaurant. So we had to park at the hospital. Unfortunately there are too many negative points so we won't be coming back.

I would like to share my experience at the restaurant 'Gutierrez' as of August 31, 2023, although it was anything but pleasant. This visit was undoubtedly one of the most disappointing moments we have ever experienced in a restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, we noticed that there were only a few cushions on the outside seating. Instead of providing us with cushions at our chosen table, which is common practice in most restaurants, I decided to go looking for cushions myself. After finding some empty tables, I grabbed a cushion from the next table, where a family was sitting, but there were plenty of empty seats available. The owner of the restaurant reacted to this action in a highly inappropriate way by suddenly holding the cushion and trying to force it away from me. His reasoning was that an older lady would sit down at this table later. This happened in public and in front of other guests and was extremely disrespectful and humiliating. When I pointed out that it is actually the restaurant's job to provide seating cushions, not the guests', the owner seemed speechless. We were then served by another waiter who we only later found out was the owner. Unfortunately, he did not apologize for his previous behavior, which would have been appropriate in this situation. After we ordered our food, the owner brought the food to our table without any further words. This behavior was extremely unpleasant and rude. After dinner we wanted to smoke a cigarette with CBD, which is legal and freely available. We were careful not to disturb other guests by moving a little further onto the terrace. This is where the situation escalated: After we had finished smoking, the owner stormed up to our table and aggressively asked if we were smoking "weed". After we explained that it was CBD and not THC, he seemed uninterested. Instead, he started shouting loudly and scolding us that marijuana was not allowed to be smoked in his restaurant. We were shocked by his reaction and couldn't make it clear to him that it was legal CBD. Our experience was characterized by disrespectful behavior, poor service and an overall very unpleasant visit. We left the restaurant without finishing our dessert, gave the overwhelmed waiter a larger tip out of pity and decided to finally leave this place. This was hands down one of by far the worst experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. It is unfortunate that a restaurant that could potentially offer great food and drink has fallen into disrepute due to the disrespectful behavior of its owner. Hopefully this review can help future guests be treated better and avoid similar negative experiences. Update: Now that cannabis has been legalized, they should be even more ashamed :)

Once again we had a very nice and delicious evening at Gutierrez. Reservations can sometimes be a bit difficult; online (opentable) is not possible with more than 4 people. Unfortunately not very easy to reach by phone. Email is answered very late. If it does work out, it's always a successful evening. Yes, if it is busy there, and good staff is notoriously difficult to find in the restaurant, then it can take longer or something can be forgotten. But that's not particularly dramatic, as the food and drinks are really delicious and the staff is friendly and mostly on the ball. We were 6 people. Everyone was very enthusiastic and satisfied. I've been there several times and always enjoy showing this great location to my friends and acquaintances. Hopefully I will be able to visit there again soon.

CATASTROPHE. Restaurant visit on July 16th absolutely disappointing. We arrived at 7 p.m. very hungry. There were hardly any guests there. We waited almost 2 hours for 6 small tapas to find out that the tiny portions were overpriced, nothing special, not justified, instead of prawns there were small shrimps, 4 pulpo rings, both 10€ each, 2 of 8 small potatoes were bad, Bottle of water still €7, in the end €60 for nothing, so to speak. Tapas were only brought when we asked after 1 hour 40 minutes. We didn't like 3 of 6 tapas either (potatoes, avocado and seafood salad). We are really shocked - what kind of store is this? We wanted to toast over dinner that evening and thought this trendy restaurant was the right spot for it. Service absolutely disinterested, we are still angry today, this visit to the restaurant ruined our special evening. Since we waited so long, there was nothing more alcoholic to toast, we weren't asked anything, nor were we asked about the food. We then bought a bottle of Moet, ordered pizza at 9:40 p.m. and toasted at home. The evening was a failure and we will make up for it, certainly never here again.

Manche Dinge passieren manchmal, aber wenn sie auf solch eine charmante Art erklärt und korrigiert werden, ist doch alles gut. Sowohl Tapas als auch Hauptgerichte waren sehr lecker und wir haben uns in dem phantastischen Ambiente sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke und gerne wieder!

We've been waiting for the food for 2 hours! In fact, they even brought drinks every hour. Absolutely subterranean service! We didn't want fast food, but no food is worse. Update after 2.5 hours. Food is there, but it's extremely salty! Since the beverage supply is still underground, the only option is to suffer in silence or tap water... not necessarily tempting!

Leider hat sich aufgrund von fehlendem Personal die Zubereitung der Speisen extrem verzögert. Wir warteten fast 1,5 Stunden auf erste Tapas. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns dies erklärt. Man hätte uns bei der Bestellung vorwarnen müssen und beispielsweise durch etwas Brot oder ein kostenloses Getränk die Zeit etwas überbrücken können. Schade, denn das Essen selbst war ausgesprochen lecker und preislich in Ordnung.

Die Bedienungen, die Essennund Getränke an den Tisch bringen haben keinen Überblick und Bestellungen dauern zu lange, bis sie an den Tisch kommen. Z.B. eine Flasche Wasser dauert 34 Minuten, wird dann ohne Gläser gebracht. Essen war ausgegangen, es wird was empfohlen, was jedoch schon einmal bestellt war. Alles in allem hat das Essen und der Service seit dem ersten Besuch sehr nach gelassen.

I would not recommend going here. The food was mediocre. If you can’t make a simple tortilla as a Tapas restaurant then you shouldn’t open one. The rest of the food was bland and boring. Tapas are simple food that relies on good ingredients. On top of it I got sick. Go to “Salera” in the city. Much better Tapas.

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, tolles Personal, leckeres Essen – nur die Parkplatzsituation ist eine echte Herausforderung. Die Parkplätze im Hof sind extrem begrenzt und eng und außerhalb ist es genauso extrem schwierig, ein Platz zu finden.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, das Essen war super, wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder und hoffen das das Wetter dann besser ist und wir auch mal in den sehr schön gestalteten Außenbereich sitzen können

Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings war bri unserem Besuch nur ein Kellner geplant und dadurch sehr lange Wartezeiten vorhanden. Leider war durch diesen Umstand auch sehr selten jemand an unserem Tisch, was dazu geführt hat das wir weniger Getränke bestellen konnten als wir wollten und am Ende dann auch die Nachspeise ausgelassen haben da wir nach der Hauptspeise erst 20 Minuten später wieder einen Kellner gesehen haben. Gerne hätte ich hier die vollen 5 Sterne gegeben da der Kellner sehr bemüht war, hier sollte das Management definitiv nachbessern.

The food was OK and the prices were reasonable, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The plates were not cleared in time and when the main course was served, the starter and tapas plates were still on the table. This should definitely be organized better.

Die Restaurant liegt sehr versteckt in einen alten Pfeilenfabrik, es gibt einen schönen Innenhof, in dem man draussen essen kann. Das Essen ist gut, jedoch etwas teuer finde ich. Der Service ist freundlich, es fehlt jedoch etwas die spanische Herzlichkeit.

Leider was teuer und mein Sohn und Freundin, da sie auf zusaztstoffe verzichten ging es nicht so gut.... aber mir und meiner Frau hat es geschmeckt....

Das essen, wie immer super gut. Es war sehr voll. Uns wurde gesagt, das es lange dauern würde, bis das Essen da ist, ob wir schonmal Brot mit Aioli wollten. Ja gerne. Das war dann nach 45 Minuten immer noch nicht da. Bezahlen mussten wir das Brot auch. Getränke mussten wir auch 2 - 3 mal bestellen, bis sie da waren. Aber wenn dann was kam, war der Service super.

The tappas are too small portions. E.g. five small dates wrapped in bacon. The scampies swim in oil. Price performance is not ok for this. You sweat on the seat of the plastic chairs.

We had a very delicious meal for Mother's Day. Unfortunately the service was a bit understaffed. I think the atmosphere is very nice. What bothers me a bit are the unused windows and stands with the table numbers.

Had dinner there for the first time today. We waited over half an hour for food. Before that, it was a long time before you could place the order. Later, after 40 minutes of waiting for dessert and two capuchinos, I asked for the bill. It wasn't a nice experience on Mother's Day. Waited at least 10 minutes for the invoice. As we were driving out, a grandpa blocked the exit and the police had to be called. But the food was delicious. All in one: we won't be coming back. So few staff cause long waiting times and it's no fun.

The last star would have been given for slightly more moderate prices for the drinks. Otherwise it won't get any better!! 👍

I am a regular at Guiterrez and always experience "highs" and "lows" in this wonderful restaurant. Ideally located in Porz, in an old converted factory, Guiterrez offers tapas and other Spanish dishes. The atmosphere at Guiterrez is harmonious, there is a beautiful beer garden in the courtyard. The food is delicious, well prepared and of consistent quality. Highly recommended are the tapas and the steak - simply delicious. In my opinion, the price and performance are the same. The service is sometimes really great - on other visits it's an absolute flop. It depends on the service staff who serves the table. An example: I always like to eat steak - it comes with a side salad. Since I don't eat it, I always politely ask if I could have another small side dish - so that I don't have to throw the salad away. This never works with a waiter - he always points out the costs (?!?). The other service staff always try to give me something different. A bit inflexible - especially because I don't ask for an extra side dish but just want to receive some bread, for example. If the steak isn't perfect, it's no problem to let it sear briefly again (I'm happy to eat medium well, but the cash register system probably only allows well/well done). Otherwise, the Guiterrez is a solid, good and pleasant restaurant with delicious cuisine - I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces available so it is better to park outside and walk. You can also easily reach Guiterrez using public transport. Card payment is possible and welcome.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das ausgesuchte Essen lecker 😋 und nicht zu warm, beim Timing in der Küche ist noch Luft nach oben. Das Spanische Bier vom Fass ist super lecker, ich hatte ja keine Ahnung. Danke für den schönen Abend, wir kommen wieder.

My visit followed the recommendation of a good friend and was a real hit. The selection of food is extensive and there should be something for everyone. The tapas were very well prepared, well seasoned and extremely tasty. This also applied to the salad plate. There was nothing to complain about about the food. The location is great and guarantees a relaxed stay in the covered outdoor area in the warmer seasons. The restaurant is busy, so reservations are recommended. I can therefore only pass on the recommendation to visit the restaurant. It's definitely not the last time I've been here and I'll try other offerings from the menu. Im looking forward to it.

In general I would say the whole thing here was very mixed. A boss who takes telephone calls at the table next to her. The bread basket should perhaps see water a little more often. Best with dish soap. Missing aioli or herb butter. Clearing the plates early, which makes it uncomfortable. Meat that was once very well fried and then was in the pan for too long. Napkins that were still on the floor from the previous person. There are not enough parking spaces when the restaurant is full. Enough complaining. Could be expanded, but overall the food was delicious. Price per person around 30 euros.

First the positive points: Very nice atmosphere and friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations: the four of us had pre-ordered a paella “Frutti di Mare”. We then had to wait over an hour for the food in the restaurant; Luckily we had ordered some tapas as starters. When the paella came, it was still wet - and yet the rice was overcooked - and it was also too salty, so we could hardly feel the taste of the sea fruits. When we wanted to talk to the management about the quality of the food after the meal, it turned out that the boss wasn't there. However, we were pleasantly surprised by a subsequent call from the owner who apologized for the problems.
