Once again we had a very nice and delicious evening at Gutierrez. Reservations can sometimes be a bit difficult; online (opentable) is not possible with more than 4 people. Unfortunately not very easy to reach by phone. Email is answered very late. If it does work out, it's always a successful evening. Yes, if it is busy there, and good staff is notoriously difficult to find in the restaurant, then it can take longer or something can be forgotten. But that's not particularly dramatic, as the food and drinks are really delicious and the staff is friendly and mostly on the ball. We were 6 people. Everyone was very enthusiastic and satisfied. I've been there several times and always enjoy showing this great location to my friends and acquaintances. Hopefully I will be able to visit there again soon.

CATASTROPHE. Restaurant visit on July 16th absolutely disappointing. We arrived at 7 p.m. very hungry. There were hardly any guests there. We waited almost 2 hours for 6 small tapas to find out that the tiny portions were overpriced, nothing special, not justified, instead of prawns there were small shrimps, 4 pulpo rings, both 10€ each, 2 of 8 small potatoes were bad, Bottle of water still €7, in the end €60 for nothing, so to speak. Tapas were only brought when we asked after 1 hour 40 minutes. We didn't like 3 of 6 tapas either (potatoes, avocado and seafood salad). We are really shocked - what kind of store is this? We wanted to toast over dinner that evening and thought this trendy restaurant was the right spot for it. Service absolutely disinterested, we are still angry today, this visit to the restaurant ruined our special evening. Since we waited so long, there was nothing more alcoholic to toast, we weren't asked anything, nor were we asked about the food. We then bought a bottle of Moet, ordered pizza at 9:40 p.m. and toasted at home. The evening was a failure and we will make up for it, certainly never here again.

No recommendation! We've been waiting in vain for our food for 2 hours - unfortunately the staff and the boss don't care at all despite repeated requests... Better go to another restaurant... A pity! …Addendum: After 2.5 hours the food actually came. Unfortunately, the food was extremely oversalted and incomplete (side dishes were missing!) It's a real shame - we allowed ourselves to be lured by the good reviews - that was a huge mistake. Anyone who charges prices like that should at least offer service and good food. Both are missing here. Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars...

Das Essen war wie immer sehr ansprechend und lecer.

We've been waiting for the food for 2 hours! In fact, they even brought drinks every hour. Absolutely subterranean service! We didn't want fast food, but no food is worse. Update after 2.5 hours. Food is there, but it's extremely salty! Since the beverage supply is still underground, the only option is to suffer in silence or tap water... not necessarily tempting!

What a great place. Food, service, everything was great. We'll be back very soon! Don't forget to book a table in advance!

Leider hat sich aufgrund von fehlendem Personal die Zubereitung der Speisen extrem verzögert. Wir warteten fast 1,5 Stunden auf erste Tapas. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns dies erklärt. Man hätte uns bei der Bestellung vorwarnen müssen und beispielsweise durch etwas Brot oder ein kostenloses Getränk die Zeit etwas überbrücken können. Schade, denn das Essen selbst war ausgesprochen lecker und preislich in Ordnung.

Tappas were delicious, but we waited for over an hour for the food and even things we ordered were missing and we were simply told that it wasn't written down at all.

Die Bedienungen, die Essennund Getränke an den Tisch bringen haben keinen Überblick und Bestellungen dauern zu lange, bis sie an den Tisch kommen. Z.B. eine Flasche Wasser dauert 34 Minuten, wird dann ohne Gläser gebracht. Essen war ausgegangen, es wird was empfohlen, was jedoch schon einmal bestellt war. Alles in allem hat das Essen und der Service seit dem ersten Besuch sehr nach gelassen.

I would not recommend going here. The food was mediocre. If you can’t make a simple tortilla as a Tapas restaurant then you shouldn’t open one. The rest of the food was bland and boring. Tapas are simple food that relies on good ingredients. On top of it I got sick. Go to “Salera” in the city. Much better Tapas.

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, tolles Personal, leckeres Essen – nur die Parkplatzsituation ist eine echte Herausforderung. Die Parkplätze im Hof sind extrem begrenzt und eng und außerhalb ist es genauso extrem schwierig, ein Platz zu finden.

Good tapas with a decent selection. The service is quick and friendly. Tapas could be a little more unusual and sophisticated. If you like tapas, this is a good place to go. Wine selection is also very good.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, das Essen war super, wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder und hoffen das das Wetter dann besser ist und wir auch mal in den sehr schön gestalteten Außenbereich sitzen können

Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings war bri unserem Besuch nur ein Kellner geplant und dadurch sehr lange Wartezeiten vorhanden. Leider war durch diesen Umstand auch sehr selten jemand an unserem Tisch, was dazu geführt hat das wir weniger Getränke bestellen konnten als wir wollten und am Ende dann auch die Nachspeise ausgelassen haben da wir nach der Hauptspeise erst 20 Minuten später wieder einen Kellner gesehen haben. Gerne hätte ich hier die vollen 5 Sterne gegeben da der Kellner sehr bemüht war, hier sollte das Management definitiv nachbessern.

The food was OK and the prices were reasonable, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The plates were not cleared in time and when the main course was served, the starter and tapas plates were still on the table. This should definitely be organized better.

This is one place that is worth revisiting. Huge menu. Beautiful location. Attentive staff. And the food.....awesome.

The tuna steak was large and tasted excellent, the salad with the steak strips was very tasty. The open red wine and the Sauvigon blanc were excellent. Not to forget the cozy spot outside and the super friendly and attentive service. TOP location

Sehr schönes Restaurant, mit gutem Essen und tollem Service. Dafür aber recht teuer

Die Restaurant liegt sehr versteckt in einen alten Pfeilenfabrik, es gibt einen schönen Innenhof, in dem man draussen essen kann. Das Essen ist gut, jedoch etwas teuer finde ich. Der Service ist freundlich, es fehlt jedoch etwas die spanische Herzlichkeit.

Leider was teuer und mein Sohn und Freundin, da sie auf zusaztstoffe verzichten ging es nicht so gut.... aber mir und meiner Frau hat es geschmeckt....

Das essen, wie immer super gut. Es war sehr voll. Uns wurde gesagt, das es lange dauern würde, bis das Essen da ist, ob wir schonmal Brot mit Aioli wollten. Ja gerne. Das war dann nach 45 Minuten immer noch nicht da. Bezahlen mussten wir das Brot auch. Getränke mussten wir auch 2 - 3 mal bestellen, bis sie da waren. Aber wenn dann was kam, war der Service super.

The last star would have been given for slightly more moderate prices for the drinks. Otherwise it won't get any better!! 👍

Essen war wieder mal sehr gut, Rumpsteak Medium rare auf den Punkt gebraten, Tapas sehr gut, Bedienung trotz vollem Haus aufmerksam. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Wartezeit.

Had dinner there for the first time today. We waited over half an hour for food. Before that, it was a long time before you could place the order. Later, after 40 minutes of waiting for dessert and two capuchinos, I asked for the bill. It wasn't a nice experience on Mother's Day. Waited at least 10 minutes for the invoice. As we were driving out, a grandpa blocked the exit and the police had to be called. But the food was delicious. All in one: we won't be coming back. So few staff cause long waiting times and it's no fun.

I am a regular at Guiterrez and always experience "highs" and "lows" in this wonderful restaurant. Ideally located in Porz, in an old converted factory, Guiterrez offers tapas and other Spanish dishes. The atmosphere at Guiterrez is harmonious, there is a beautiful beer garden in the courtyard. The food is delicious, well prepared and of consistent quality. Highly recommended are the tapas and the steak - simply delicious. In my opinion, the price and performance are the same. The service is sometimes really great - on other visits it's an absolute flop. It depends on the service staff who serves the table. An example: I always like to eat steak - it comes with a side salad. Since I don't eat it, I always politely ask if I could have another small side dish - so that I don't have to throw the salad away. This never works with a waiter - he always points out the costs (?!?). The other service staff always try to give me something different. A bit inflexible - especially because I don't ask for an extra side dish but just want to receive some bread, for example. If the steak isn't perfect, it's no problem to let it sear briefly again (I'm happy to eat medium well, but the cash register system probably only allows well/well done). Otherwise, the Guiterrez is a solid, good and pleasant restaurant with delicious cuisine - I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately there are not enough parking spaces available so it is better to park outside and walk. You can also easily reach Guiterrez using public transport. Card payment is possible and welcome.

They converted an old factory into a restaurant. There is still a crane on the ceiling. The environment is designed very aesthetically. Starters and meats are very nice. I advise.

My visit followed the recommendation of a good friend and was a real hit. The selection of food is extensive and there should be something for everyone. The tapas were very well prepared, well seasoned and extremely tasty. This also applied to the salad plate. There was nothing to complain about about the food. The location is great and guarantees a relaxed stay in the covered outdoor area in the warmer seasons. The restaurant is busy, so reservations are recommended. I can therefore only pass on the recommendation to visit the restaurant. It's definitely not the last time I've been here and I'll try other offerings from the menu. Im looking forward to it.

In general I would say the whole thing here was very mixed. A boss who takes telephone calls at the table next to her. The bread basket should perhaps see water a little more often. Best with dish soap. Missing aioli or herb butter. Clearing the plates early, which makes it uncomfortable. Meat that was once very well fried and then was in the pan for too long. Napkins that were still on the floor from the previous person. There are not enough parking spaces when the restaurant is full. Enough complaining. Could be expanded, but overall the food was delicious. Price per person around 30 euros.

First the positive points: Very nice atmosphere and friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet our expectations: the four of us had pre-ordered a paella “Frutti di Mare”. We then had to wait over an hour for the food in the restaurant; Luckily we had ordered some tapas as starters. When the paella came, it was still wet - and yet the rice was overcooked - and it was also too salty, so we could hardly feel the taste of the sea fruits. When we wanted to talk to the management about the quality of the food after the meal, it turned out that the boss wasn't there. However, we were pleasantly surprised by a subsequent call from the owner who apologized for the problems.

Worst service. The waiters at this place are so rude and indifferent that you think about leaving several times before ordering or receiving your food. Even ordering and getting drinks takes forever. The service level is so low that I will NOT be returning. However, the food is delicious and the prices are ok. Several of my colleagues and friends have also been here and had the same bad experience. If you want to spend a nice evening in a restaurant, look elsewhere. IMPRESSIVE RINGS AND SLOW SERVICE.

So I'll be honest, again I wouldn't want to go there, there's no need to discuss the ambience, BUT in my opinion the food wasn't as good as I imagined, for example the prawns in olive oil with garlic, which I know were luke warm They come in an earthenware bowl and are almost sizzling The patatas bravas weren't that either. I've eaten them at so many tapas restaurants and I know how it must be! At the end we ordered churros, they were still raw inside and the churros could have been fried until crispy and the chocolate sauce was not chocolate sauce When it came to service, it came across as if the gentleman with long hair and glasses didn't feel like serving us - it's not an accusation, maybe that's just how it seemed to me I'm sorry that I can't say anything good other than the ambience

Der nette Service gibt dir schon das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein, die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und deinen Wünschen gegenüber aufgeschlossen! Wir hatten Tapas an diesem Abend, geschmacklich super und die Portionen ausreichend!

Yesterday we were at Gutierrez and had goose leg. We are now almost regular guests. The ambience in the former Feilenhof in Porz, right next to the Steinstrasse stop, is fantastic. The industrial look with modern interior and Spanish-inspired design is impressive The food was, as before, simply fantastic. A big compliment to the kitchen. The red cabbage with apple pieces and a touch of cinnamon was particularly harmonious. The service is absolutely good. Friendly, quick and very keen to ensure that customers as guests have an unforgettable visit. Today, for the 2nd Advent, we took advantage of the open day in the Feilenhof, which, in addition to the Gutierrez, also has a few artisans in the neighborhood, to once again enjoy a pleasant afternoon. A warm Christmas sangria with cinnamon sticks, orange and fresh fruit was served outdoors. Great! Of course, we treated ourselves to another round of tapas in the restaurant later. As with all previous visits, this time we were completely impressed by the taste, freshness and quality. If you're looking for a really successful restaurant concept in Porz that stands out from the crowd in terms of ambience, service and quality at really fair prices, you simply can't go past this place. Keep it up...everything is just right here.

Alles gut, schönes Ambiente, höfliche Personal. Personal manchmal etwas überfordert, Kleinigkeiten wurden vergessen, aber kein Problem.

Große Auswahl, super schönes Ambiente und es schmeckt fantastisch. Wir mussten zwar relativ lang auf unser Essen warten, was allerdings vermutlich dem Datum/der Stoßzeit (14.02., 20:00) geschuldet war. Umso besser hat es nachher geschmeckt. Klare Empfehlung!

Leider hat die Bestellung etwas lange gedauert, Personen die weit nach uns bestellten, hatten ihre Speisen früher. Die Tapas sind im Großen und Ganzen sehr gut. Was ich zum Beispiel aber nicht verstehen ist, dass man dünne Zitronenscheiben zum "auspressen" dazu reicht anstelle einer 1/4 Zitrone, welche praktikabler zum ausdrücken wäre. Der Mallorquinische Tomatensalat war leider nicht gut. Er schmeckte irgendwie vergoren. Dabei fand ich den vor einigen Wochen hervorragend. Alles in allem aber war der Besuch gut.

Haben 1 1/2 stunden aufs essen gewartet, danach kam immermoch nichts.

Es ist eine schöne Location. Karneval nachmittags am Wochenende eine gute Erfahrung.

Wir, vier Personen, wurden sehr nett begrüßt und zum reservierten Tisch gebracht . Bestellte Getränke wurden zügig gebracht . Wir hatten uns dann für Tapas entschieden . Auswahl war vielfältig. Alles wurde korrekt und auch zurück gebracht. Die ausgewählten Tapas haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt . Der Service war sehr aufmerksam , aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Location ist eine alte Fabrikhalle mit hohen Decken . Klar da ist es schon was lauter ,trotzdem konnten wir uns gut unterhalten . Die Preise für Tapas sind gerechtfertigt. Nach dem Essen haben wir den ein oder anderen Absacker getrunken . Die Absacker fand ich jetzt zu hochpreisig . Aber die muss man ja nicht unbedingt bestellen , aber rundet natürlich so einen schönen Abend ab .

We were there and wanted to eat delicious food and sit together nicely. I like the restaurant very much. As a starter we ordered bread with olives and aioli, dates wrapped in bacon. For the main course, rare beef skewer and a salad with chicken. I told the friendly waiter that the salad should please be made without arugula. His answer was, we don't have arugula. When the appetizer came, there was arugula among the dates. I asked my daughter in surprise: Didn't he say they didn't have arugula?!" My daughter agreed with me. We were surprised. The bread, olives and aioli were delicious, but unfortunately I didn't like the dates. Then came the main course. The beef skewer for €14.90 was just 3 bite-sized pieces of meat. And the skewer was not rare as ordered, but medium. The taste is good, but for the price, 3 bite-sized pieces are not enough! And the salad was almost exclusively arugula!!! A few very small pieces, tomatoes and cucumber (both were missing the delicious, juicy inside). Every now and then a different leaf lettuce. Far too much dressing. The waiter came to the table and I pointed out that the arugula was NOT wanted. He apologized, he had forgotten. But it wasn't remade. I ate a little, but since I really don't like arugula, I ended up eating most of it. Anyway, the chicken was tender. When we were clearing away we were asked if it was tasty other than the arugula. And whether we want dessert or coffee. We refused to place another order. We wanted to pay. Everything was listed on the invoice. No accommodation. A no go for us. We wouldn't come back.

Trotz Reservierung zunächst kein Tisch frei. Man ließ uns mitten im Raum stehen, niemand kümmerte sich. Endlich am Tisch angekommen mussten wir nach 10 Minuten um die Karte bitten und darum, ein Getränk bestellen zu dürfen. Den Kellner konnte man nicht verstehen, da er bei der gigantischen Geräuschkulisse viel zu leise sprach und nuschelte. Essen kam nach einer Stunde und war überwiegend ungenießbar. Der gebackene Ziegenkäse innen kalt. Das Rind sehnig und nicht zu kauen. Die Ofenkartoffel mit seltsamen Zitronendressing, wovon auf der Karte nichts stand. Die Geräuschkulisse extrem. Preis -Leistung.... naja.....Die Toiletten dreckig. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit nicht wieder.

Ganz tolles Lokal, mit vielfältigen Tapas und exzellenten Grillgerichten. Die Qualität stimmt immer, die Bedienung und der Service sind auch top! Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Besitzer. Die Preise sind üblich, fürs Gesamtpaket auf jeden Fall akzeptabel! Probiert den Haselnusslikör, der ist grandios! Wir kommen wieder und immer wieder gern!

Die Speisen waren lauwarm. Vorgewärmte Teller wären angebracht!! Zumal in der kühlen Location. Der Service war absolut unterirdisch,und der Kellner welcher die Bestellungen aufnimmt und Kassiert schien der Situation nicht gewachsen. Cortado kam mit 20 min Verspätung und auch erst auf Nachfrage,in einer Espresso Tasse. Guter Freund am Nachbartisch mit insgesamt 6 Personen, haben bestellte Speisen erst gar nicht bekommen, und auf Nachfrage lediglich eine Entschuldigung erhalten.

Außergewöhnliches Ambiente, tolle Kulisse, sehr freundlich, fantastisches Essen. Preis-/Leistung super. Wir waren mehrfach da und kommen wieder!
