An unconditional recommendation. From the outside I initially thought (I had selected the restaurant via Google Maps and reserved it for us) that the place wasn't that great after all, but the very first impression was completely wrong. The restaurant seems very casual. But you quickly notice from the daily menu and the prices that you have landed in a special place. The service is very friendly and the drinks and dishes are exceptionally good and worth every penny. You always feel full, but you're more likely to burst because everything tastes so good. The Gute Stube is an absolute recommendation in Hamburg.

Such a delicious meal! I had the cauliflower, vanilla soup & the veal schnitzel, which was the best I've had in a restaurant. I could tell the food was made with intention and a love for food and flavor. The staff were super friendly and spoke English really well. I felt very welcomed and I'd be happy to return.

Very familial relationship between each other. Great ambience throughout the restaurant, which is something you can hardly find at the moment. The menu changes daily, but there is still a great selection and the quality is top. I always like to try out our own lemonades and these also impressed me. Any time :)

This is our second home. The food is always fresh and delicious it is prepared with love and care. The cooks and servers take care of their customers and treat each customer very personally. There is a cosy garden for the summer, and as is the case tonight occasionally wine tasting and live music. The menu is limited for a good reason because it allows for creative cooking. Try the raspberry snaps as a digestive. Thank you for gute Stube oh and the customers always entertain us not to mention Hannes playlists

We were there with the family and I was a bit disappointed. With the name “Gute Stube” I would have expected the furnishings to be different, not bare wooden tables and chairs thrown together. At first, a menu was only available digitally on FB or Insta, as we were told. Since we are 60+, we had to rely on the help of our children. But then we were given a table with the daily specials, which change every day. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with the dishes we ordered, but since we were very hungry, we took it that way. In return we got dessert for free afterwards, a very nice gesture. The food was good, but why does fish fillet or beef fillet have to be piled on top of each other in a soup bowl on top of the delicious risotto? The portions weren't particularly large. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to order drinks because there were only two people serving. All in all too expensive. Too bad.

I had dinner with my family in the Guten Stube. We received a warm welcome and felt very welcome. The service was friendly and not intrusive. The menu comes directly to the table on a large slate board. We had the choice between 2 starters, 5 main courses and a dessert. I suspect that the map changes regularly. In the attached pictures you can see the carrot-ginger soup, the veal schnitzel and a fruit sorbet with lemon cream to finish. I really enjoyed the meal because the components are well coordinated, it seems to be prepared with impeccable craftsmanship and there is a large portion of love in it. I'd love to come back :)

We came for dinner and from the first moment we felt taken care of by all the staff, despite the language barrier. They translated the letter for us and made sure we understood everything. A service of ten. And the kitchen has been at the same level. German food with a Mediterranean touch, excellent, well cooked, with quality and local produce. The menu changes every day! In addition, the price is in line with German standards, but considering the quality we have experienced, we find the price to be very reasonable. Go there without a doubt!

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on all my pictures and don't want to withhold the highlight from you. We were here in the “Gute Stube” in May and can only say the name fits. Ambience Beautiful furnishings, great garden area to sit... Can't be seen from the front. Really great. 🤩 service Totally nice and attentive people, great! Prices are good too. The food was just great, there was something for everyone. We can only recommend it and are already looking forward to the next time, we would love to come back. ☺️☺️ Keep it up. A small restaurant in Eilbek, it's worth a visit just to enjoy the cozy atmosphere and furnishings. The daily changing food is great. With attention to detail and unique creations of delicious food. We like to be in the living room. The people who prepare and serve the food there do so with love, passion and hospitality. We recommend!

I would like to agree with the other opinions. You immediately feel welcome in the living room. The quality of the food is really outstanding. The cooking there is still really good, without any finished products. The prices are absolutely justified. If you are in Hamburg and want delicious food, you are in good hands here. We sat in the back of the yard when the outside temperature was 20 degrees. But you have to know that you mostly sit at/on beer tables and benches. We liked the whole concept. We will definitely come by again.

Great restaurant, excellent cuisine and super pleasant service. An absolute gem in the neighborhood. The outdoor area at the back is great in the summer. Small deduction in the ambience, as the partly. The open kitchen partially fills the small dining room with the inevitable cooking smells, but in the summer you can just sit outside.

I like it when you can still see directly into the kitchen. There are no secrets and you know that everything must be okay here. And that was exactly the case. Delicious food, friendly service and cozy. Feel free to try the homemade lemonade.

Incredibly quaint shop with lots of character and nice staff. The food is fancy and the dishes seem to change regularly. The boss actually makes EVERYTHING herself in the kitchen. From home-baked bread, to pestos, lemonade, desserts, etc. Here even the tea bags are tied by hand! An extraordinary experience and an absolute rarity these days. And in terms of taste, the cuisine here also keeps up and delights. You can't eat better in Hamburg, I can only recommend it to everyone. My new insider tip, I'll definitely be back! :)

Unfortunately it has worn off a lot. Ate there today as a couple and again the food was far too greasy. Everything was swimming in oil and butter. Unfortunately the entrecote was also a disgrace. Rare instead of medium (can happen), but much worse was that it was half fat and tendons. Sorry, that wasn't ok for over €60. “Funny, others like it” doesn’t help either.

Warm, family atmosphere in the middle of Hamburg-Eilbek with a backyard garden terrace. The menu varies daily with freshly prepared, regional dishes. The team is happy to respond to individual requests. Most of the syrup for the drinks is homemade. Cakes baked in-house top the offering. Always worth a visit!

Delicious food in a sweet atmosphere. Despite the location, you don't notice the street inside. The burger and the wine were A1, nice uncomplicated service!

I go to the Guten Stube for lunch about once a month. There is always a varied menu with a kind of home-style cuisine in a modern and contemporary way, great vegetarian things too, which I often choose even as a non-vegetarian ;-). It always tastes great. The service is extremely friendly, attentive and great. The whole atmosphere is loving and cozy. In summer the small backyard is wonderful for sitting outside... I'll keep coming back!

Klein, nett und es besticht durch ein sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Ein paar kleine Reparaturen hier und da hätten dem Ambiente auch 5 Sterne eingebracht. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch den Außenbereich nutzen.

Der kleine Geheimtipp in Hamburg. Das kleine Lokal besticht mit mit liebe zum Detail, in dem der Gast zu gast ist.

Essen ist wirklich top, trotz vollem Laden kaum Wartezeit! Keinen einzigen Kritikpunkt. Netter kleiner laden, mit super Personal die immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht haben:) Nett eingerichtet, wie ein kleines „Stübchen“ ! Kann ich nur empfehlen!!

Einfach toll und lecker, eine Perle in wandsbek

We were looking for one particular thing and found everything. It was amazing food, service and ambiance. Worth seeking out this restaurant. Will be back.

Oberhammergutes Essen, traumhaft gewürzt und super leckerer Kuchen. Service super authentisch und freundlich. Ambiente zuckersüß, ehrlich liebevoll und sehr originell. Eins der wenigen Lokale für die ich gerne 6* geben würde.

Wir waren vor Kurzem das erste Mal hier und waren sehr positiv angetan. Ich hatte das Wiener Schnitzel, was qualitativ und optisch sehr gut war. Meine Freundin hatte einen Ziegenkäseburger, der spannend und mal anders als der Standard war. Vor dem Laden hätten wir gar nicht so eine entspannte Atmosphäre erwartet - sehr zu empfehlen der Innenhof.

Hervorragendes Essen! Die Gerichte waren perfekt abgestimmt und sowohl liebevoll zubereitet, als auch angerichtet. Jeder Bissen war ein absoluter Genuss. Großes Kompliment an die Küche. Wir kommen sehr sicher wieder. Auch der Service war super lieb und aufmerksam. 💯

Ein tolles Restaurant mit täglich wechselndem Gerichten und einem schönen Innenhof. Die Bedienung ist superfreundlich und die Gerichte sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Ein schönes Restaurant mit tollen Ideen in dem man sich wohl fühlt und lecker isst. Die Lage in Eilbek ist ziemlich zentral nicht weit von Ubahn Wartenau, jedoch kann es teilweise ein bisschen versteckt vorkommen.

Wer eine gute Stube zum Essen sucht, der muss hier unbedingt Platz nehmen. Hinter einer kleinen Tür an der wuseligen Wandsbeker Chaussee verbirgt sich eine ruhige, gemütliche, kleine Stube mit Sommerterrasse, die es so kein zweites Mal gibt. Das Ambiente lädt zum bleiben ein, das Personal zum lieb haben und das Essen zum immer wieder kommen. Die Gerichte sind mit Liebe gekocht und so schmecken sie auch. Danke für viele tolle Stunden bei euch.

Hätten wir vorher nicht die Bewertungen gelesen, das von außen kleine, unscheinbare Lokal hätten wir links liegen lassen. Wir haben 2 sehr, sehr köstliche und kreative Gerichte( Flammkuchen mit Pflaume, Nektarinen und Risotto mit Pfifferlingen) genossen, hatten einen zuvorkommenden und super netten Service in einem echt originellen Ambiente(Biergarten). Wohnt ich in Hamburg… ich wär oft dort!

Wir sind spontan hier gelandet und waren einfach nur begeistert. So ein leckeres Essen, einen ausgezeichneten Service haben wir nicht erwartet. Wir saßen im Garten und hatten einen Flammkuchen und die Gnocci. Die Zutaten sind frisch und alles ist selbstgemacht. Es war alles ausgezeichnet. Wenn man in Hamburg ist, ist es definitiv zum empfehlen.
