Went to the wild for lunch today... WOW, that was delicious 😋, we had perfect steaks from the charcoal grill with mega crispy potato chips, delicious remoulade and sauce to dip into the meat... The side salad was also extremely sophisticated and well prepared, served with super nice service in a unique (for me as a country bumpkin 😀) location. Thank you very much again!

A great ambience on this houseboat, simply great atmosphere including an outdoor area, also for mulled wine in the cold season. The staff is super friendly. The food was rather unusual and very expensive in terms of price. For us as a family there wasn't something for everyone, especially since you had to be able to tolerate the rocking of the boat. But recommended as an attempt.

Beautiful, extraordinary ambience, in a floating restaurant in the middle of Hafen City, the Elfi is in sight, in the Museum Harbor. The boss and his staff are super nice, the food is made from very fresh ingredients. The brown bread was a hit. Here I was able to try fresh samphire for the first time. The haddock was wonderfully fresh. The menu has something for everyone, from fish to meat and also vegetarian. Some of the food is prepared outside on an open fire. Prices for the soft drinks are totally ok. It would just be exciting to know whether the dishes on the menu change from time to time. Takk for god matlaging- vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Very cool place with very good food - if you like seafood. We went for lunch and everything was really delicious. The place is sitting on the water in the middle of the speicherstadt, some nice views, but more importantly the inside is cozy, fisherman style, comfy and inviting. The bread is just amazing, do yourself a favor and take a loaf home. All the seafood is fresh, tasty, and prepared excellent! Great place, will definitely go back!

Best surf & turf burger 🍔 ever 🦞.. Went there again yesterday (December 29th). It was mega again. Whether salad, halibut, steak. 🥩 It couldn't be better. Great wine selection. Great service.

Perfect! Last Friday after our civil wedding we had lunch at Wild Scandinavian Cooking with around 30 people. First there was a reception on the beautiful terrace on the pontoon in HafenCity with a view of the Elbphilharmonie. There was also a very tasty snack that was prepared on an open fire and was also very visually appealing. Inside we had a seat at the long table with all the guests. The space is unique in Hamburg and you are on the water. There were beautiful Christmas decorations. The menu was excellently prepared, tasted great and the staff were always attentive when serving the guests. We were contacted in advance by Nova & co. Very well looked after and every wish was fulfilled. We can recommend the restaurant unconditionally. See you next time! Ruth and Jan

My wife discovered Wild Scandinavian Cooking by chance online and we spontaneously decided to reserve a table. We haven't regretted it for a second. Visitors can expect a great and cozy atmosphere that always welcomes them. The service was very commendable, always friendly and courteous, but never intrusive. And the food was simply a poem...! We have already had various culinary experiences, and the visit to Wild Scandinavian Cooking is one of the best experiences so far. Very exciting selection of dishes that delight with surprising taste highlights. There was nothing to complain about from our side, a culinary delight at a very high level without being excessive. The fact is, we were really full after the starter and main course and were able to experience a really successful culinary journey. When we are back in Hamburg, we will definitely visit Wild Scandinavian Cooking again.

The menu was a real highlight - everything from fresh oysters to succulent lobster was on offer. The outstanding quality of the food was particularly impressive. Every bite was a delight, the ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality. The preparation was perfectly coordinated and you could tell that the cooking was done with a lot of love and dedication. The service was also first class. The staff were friendly, professional and knew exactly how to give guests an unforgettable evening - attentive without being intrusive and always with a positive attitude. All in all, this visit was a highlight. The special ambience on the houseboat, coupled with first-class food and excellent service, made the restaurant an absolute insider tip. We can only warmly recommend it and look forward to our next visit!

We had a wonderful evening at the WSC! What a special location right on the water with a very harmonious ambience, great service crew and great food! Absolute enjoyment and pleasant relaxedness - big recommendation (!) Unfortunately, the toilet is not on the boat, but outside - but that's bearable!

A really great location!! The ambience really impressed us! We were there for lunch and were very well fed. We can only recommend the old houseboat and would be happy to come back if it weren't for the long journey from southern Hesse...

Very tasty food, nice ambience and great staff. The fish & chips were great and the cranberry mayonnaise with it was really exceptional. We also loved the truffle mayo. The Smørrebrød was also very tasty, but if you want it to be a main course, you need two. (The price actually suggests it, but we didn't pay attention to it the first time, so here's just a note so that others don't overlook it.) The water flat rate is really a flat rate, the staff is very attentive and fills up super quickly. We also really liked the Geile Dane (beer in a 0.7 liter bottle). We've only been there during the day so far, so one small point of criticism: The selection of vegetarian options on the daily menu is very manageable. But we'll definitely be back because what we had was really tasty.

The "Wild Scandinavian Cooking" is a rustic, yet cozy restaurant - let's call it "hyggelig". The staff was super friendly, albeit nobody was from Scandinavia 🙂. Eating outside directly next to the water was very nice, I can really recommend that. The "Geiler Däne" is a very good beer. The food that I got was very good, too. The truffel mayonaise is very nice. However, as a vegetarian, I was not impressed with my options and I was not recommended anything beyond what's on the menu. Overall: Veldig bra, men ikke utestående.

I was there for dinner with my wife. I have already visited many very, very good restaurants, this one is mega when it comes to the quality of the food and I don't have to hide from any top restaurants in Hamburg (look at the map and just try). Just like the fantastic wines, the service - which is no longer a given, especially these days: professional, friendly, unconventional and, what I find very important, authentic, friendly but unobtrusive. Just great! Very big praise! The ambience is simply really special in contrast to other mainstream restaurants: relaxed, cozy feel-good atmosphere, especially when it starts to get dark in the evening. Very cozy. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the great hospitality.

We had an early lunch today and it was tops. Service was perfect, the restaurant was clean and the food was tops. Really the only thing to complain about was perhaps a bit cold inside. Fresh innovative cooking. A must visit.

Original ambience, excellent service, delicious food

Fully booked! Damn... as a tourist you don't always think that something like this can happen and yet we got two places: with our bottoms on the ship and with our feet on the mainland. “Garden and Sea” was served for lunch and here the 5 stars alone are justified. The side salad was so delicious, the fish fillet was well fried, just great! When it came to drinks - and I have to admit, I haven't seen THIS anywhere before - there was a mineral water flat rate for 4 euros: drink (mineral water) until you drop. Great, friendly service completes the overall picture. I will definitely come back next time...and make a reservation in advance.

Very nice interior, old ship with great solid furniture. We actually wanted coffee and cake, but there was coffee but no cake. That's why I ordered the blueberry tiramisu. The portion could have been a bit larger for €8.50, but it tasted very good.

Best restaurant in Hamburg we where just walking by we went in and we meet with the Owner he was super nice we asked him if we can have a table he said unfortunately there is a private event but he still managed a table for us best place best waiters and best chefs and the food was just absolutely amazing I can highly highly recommend this place for everyone 🤩🤩!!

We ordered three drinks and the waitress misunderstood all three orders. After we pointed this out to them, they prepared us two more wrong drinks. If you know exactly what you want to drink, this is not the place for you.

This restaurant will go through the roof in a few weeks. We had a perfectly prepared fillet of white halibut and variations of cod. The ambience is stylishly furnished and gives the cool Hafencity a soul. We had the opportunity to chat with the chef, who took time out for us after a busy day. But the other service staff were also there for us after their shift ended and went the extra mile, which is not independent and was appreciated by Brian. I have seen people here who do their job with heart and dedication. For exactly this reason, but also because of the excellent food, I will definitely come back. Maybe at the quiet back of the restaurant overlooking the water.

We were there for lunch today to test it, the food was delicious (Ceasar's Salad, Smørebrød), the prices were ok. We sat inside very nicely. But: Overall, perhaps a little more than 50% of the seats were occupied, but the five service staff still didn't have the place under control: For example, we wanted to take a look at the evening menu and had to ask three times. We weren't asked if we would like to order anything else, a second (!) drink, coffee, dessert, .... The espresso came without sugar, and for minutes there was no one in sight to ask for it. Accordingly, the tip was not so generous. You can/should still say thank you and say goodbye. There's still a lot of room for improvement among the men! Too bad. (Also: There was a group of three people sitting at the next table who left after waiting in vain for a while.)

Go and enjoy. Price/performance top. Very cozy (Hygge) and nice people. We will 100% come back!

The food and the location are super. Unfortunately the service was poor on 8/19/24. It took a long time until we received a card. Then within a very short time all the waiters came asking if we were already being served. Drinks were forgotten, brought to the wrong table, long wait. There was no question as to whether you would like anything else. When our food was served, meat juice dripped onto my pants... the cellar just said the table was slanted. No apology nothing. When I paid I said that the service was bad...there was no response. Too bad.

We were there for lunch 2 days ago and were very surprised. Friendly staff and very attentive. Without asking, an employee even put a bowl for our dog next to the table. The menu is very clear and the prices are not overpriced. We ordered the buffalo mozzarella, wild herb/flower salad on tomato chutney and the fish & chips. Both plates were great! And the best chips in my life, that's all I can say! 🤣🤣🤣 Our first trip to Hamburg and definitely not the last. And here we will come again. And in the evening, maybe I'll have the opportunity to get to know Brian. Many thanks to the whole team👏👏👏

Yesterday we were lucky enough to get a table at this absolutely fantastic location! We were greeted by the friendly staff - in true Scandinavian style all staff have the same chef attire. The waiters and chefs were very attentive and without rushing us. We had a great table outside with a view of the Elbphilharmonie. Both Brian and Martin frequently stopped by our table to talk about their food philosophy, their exciting catering trips of the past couple of years and have a drink with us. We really, really appreciated them taking the time to chat (especially considering it was a Saturday night), it made us feel like we were having dinner at a - very talented - friends house. I saved the best for last: the food! As an appetizer we shared the sardines and while the fish was as yummy as we expected, the peas were my favorite part - I had no idea that peas could taste this good. For the main course I had the cod head in teriyaki sauce - sounds funny but it's a delicacy. Absolutely delicious, simple ingredients and fun to eat (I ended up eating it with my hands :D). My boyfriend had the Surf 'n' Turf burger - it was served with half a lobster, still in the shell, on top of the burger. What a showstopper meal - not just visually it was really tasty as well. I would describe the food as authentic, delicious and as something we will definitely be eating more of in the future :) Thank you for the fantastic evening!

We were with friends at Brian and Martin's on Saturday evening. We were warmly welcomed in a great atmosphere. We were given detailed advice when it came to choosing the food and drinks. The menu is clear in a positive sense and all the dishes are varied and there is something for everyone. All the dishes tasted excellent, the Surf&Turf Burger with half a lobster particularly stood out! The best thing besides the food was the special atmosphere. Brian, Martin and the whole team were very attentive and took a lot of time for us. Martin explained to us in detail about the history, the concept and the special location of the restaurant on a boat in the Hafencity. Each of our questions was answered with a lot of patience. As guests we felt like we were at home with friends. Thank you for the great evening, we'll be happy to come back!

A very nice restaurant on a stationary ship. I had a very good espresso doppio and a delicious streusel cake. Both are highly recommended! Since you're on a ship, everything fluctuates a little, which gives the whole thing a very special atmosphere. The small shop is also filled with many exciting products. I will gladly come again.

I celebrated my 40th birthday on the Caesar lounger! From the planning to the party and even afterwards, everything was extremely well organized. Great service during the party, great and friendly team, delicious drinks and good food in a great setting. Absolute recommendation!!!

Beautiful rustic, cozy atmosphere! Very unusual location with waves and outside toilets. Cheese fondue for 7 women in two large bowls. Side dishes: delicious toasted bread, small roasted potatoes, mini pickles, mushrooms. Selected wines and aperitifs. Very courteous service. Next time I would like to try a different dish. They all looked very good at the neighboring tables.

Очень классное атмосферное место. Необычное ощущение, когда сидишь за столом и тебя качает на волнах, голова немного кружится и без вина:). Еда вкусная, даже детям понравилось. Ценник дороже обычного в Гамбурге, но разочек, отметить, например, важное событие -можно себе позволить. Единственный напряг-туалета на барже нет и нужно выходить на пантон в общественный туалет.
