For lunch there is usually something on the weekly menu with a good price/performance ratio. So far there have only been two negative exceptions. The service is usually quick and friendly.

Offer Spanish tapas that are not 👎

Food a little unimaginative. As a starter, various unconvincing tapas. Side dishes for the rib eye without any taste or seasoning. Service inattentive. Waited forever for the food. I'm definitely not coming back.

We only drank cocktails, they were okay. Service OK. Ambience rather cool without cool music and lifeless.

The breakfast was great for the third time now! Nice atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food!!! This time I had "Scandice", breakfast with lots of salmon, scrambled eggs with crabs, etc. including coffee (or hot drink) for 13.50 euros. Good and cheap!

In the gourmet salad € 14.50, the previously good quality "with turkey breast strips" has definitely been replaced. I have been eating the salad there for many years, but as of May 2024, no longer. The "new turkey breast strips" taste disgustingly rubbery, I felt sick for hours afterward...it's a shame

We were in Bad Soden 11 days ago and were looking for a nice restaurant. After a recommendation, we went to Gustav's and were very impressed. The food was simply delicious, and the service was friendly, attentive, especially since we came with a dog, it was no problem at all. We can only recommend it.

A really nice place. For every criterion I'm inclined to give it five stars rather than four. Actually, five stars are a bit too many. We're looking forward to summer, it's too loud inside for a restaurant!

Gladly 5 stars because it just fits. You feel comfortable in Gustav's and the price-performance ratio is good. You can start the day calmly with a hearty breakfast in a very relaxed atmosphere (an absolute insider tip for me). A cheap changing lunch menu and tapas in the evening, what more could you want.

I was invited to a private party. Food was ordered as a buffet. The service was exceptionally good.

For the company party with 11 people we met at Gustav's Brasserie and the winter garden was really nice! The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting and the service was also very nice. After a selection of starters and an aperitif, we ordered the main courses, which came without too much of a wait. The tapas starters were prepared with love, but the meatballs were too salty and the aioli was more of a remulade sauce. For the main course I had the burrata filled ravioli with truffles which was very tasty, but I think the portion could have been a little larger. The waitress had forgotten a portion of dessert. We asked the waitress about it, who kindly brought the missing dessert as quickly as possible. The overall package was right and we would be happy to come back to the next company party or even privately.

Gutes Essen, schneller und guter Service.

We had dinner and it felt more like a bar. The servers were nice but they missed one of our starter. The bruschetta was passable the cheese wasn't melted thought the bread was a bit warm. It had a pre-made feel to it. The highlights were the salads as they were fresh.

Waren hier zu einer Geburtstagsfeier. Sehr guter Service. Essen wirklich gut und zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine Cocktail Night und probierten verschiedene Cocktails,jeder jeweils 2. 1 Cocktail war sehr gut,die anderen 3 haben noch potential nach oben, schmecken nicht,wie die Original schmecken sollten. Vielen Dank für den netten und zuvorkommenden Service, an den Cocktails noch bisschen üben..

Sehr leckere Tapas Platte. Service war langsam. Der Laden war aber voll, daher war das eine Erklärung.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, der Service leider unter aller Kanone. Die Gäste werden angefahren dafür, dass die Bedienung nicht alle Speisen auf den Tisch gestellt bekommt. Danach ließ sich die Bedienung nie wieder blicken. Wem guter Service wichtig ist sollte hier vorsichtig sein.

Ab und zu bin ich mittags bei Gustav's. Es gibt, wie in einigen Restaurants in Bad Soden, ein attraktives Mittagsmenü, in der Regel eine Suppe (4,50 EUR) und zwei Hauptgerichte (je 9,00 EUR). Das Essen ist - gerade bei dem Preis - wirklich gut. Beim Hauptgericht gibt es vorab noch Brot mit Butter und einen kleinen Salat. Die Qualität des Essens ist gut, und somit das Mittagsangebot eine wirkliche Empfehlung. Was weniger prickelnd ist, ist der Service - und der gehört zu einem angenehmen Restaurant-Erlebnis mit dazu. Zunächst war die Wahl des Tischs nicht so einfach: Tisch 1 war noch nicht abgeräumt und nicht abgewischt. Tisch 2 war zwar gewischt, aber der relativ dreckige und feuchte Lappen lag schön auf der Sitzfläche des Stuhls. Dann wurde ich, obwohl im hinteren Außenbereich nur wenige Tische besetzt waren, schlichtweg übersehen. Nachdem dann ein zweiter Kellner erschien, konnte es endlich losgehen mit der Bestellung. Sie ging reibungslos, und danach kamen bald Brot, Salat und das bestellte Getränk - so hatte ich mir das gewünscht. (Nun kam auch Kellner 1 und fragte, ob ich schon bestellt hatte - was dann wieder irritierte.) Am Nachbartisch fragten die Gäste nach Dessert-Möglichkeiten. Die kannte die Bedienung allerdings nicht, versprach aber, die Karte zu bringen. Nach 10 Minuten kam er zurück - allerdings ohne Karte und ohne Erinnerung, dass ja ein Dessert bestellt werden sollte. Dass dann beim Abräumen Gläser vom Tablett fallen können, passiert jedem. Dann jedoch die Scherben aufzufegen und gleich wieder alles rund um den Tisch zu verteilen - dazu braucht man schon Geschick. Letztlich dauerte es Ewigkeiten, bis ich zahlen konnte, weil ein Small-Talk mit anderen Gästen wichtiger war, dann ein Blick auf die verbliebenen Gäste ganz vermieden wurde, und dazu noch ein Cocktail gemischt werden musste, was wohl zum ersten Mal gemacht wurde. Fazit: Mit einem solchen Service wird einem als Gast das leckerste Essen verleidet.

Echt super Restaurant, guter Service und tolle Preise

Eine super Lokation, zentral gelegen, gut erschlossen und dennoch ruhig. Indoor und Outdoor möglich. Personal ist super nett, Essen passt. Gut geeignet für Event und größere Gruppen. Noch keine Erfahrungen dort als Einzelperson.

Tasty Weiner schnitzel and good service

Kick off for the weekend and Friday Fish. Set menu of the day, starting with a carrot ginger soup following filet of fish with a side salad and a mango desert. Closed by a balanced espresso. Service was invisible, attentive and charming. Total of 16.00€ incl. a drink! Perfect! Booked a table for next Tuesday

Einfach nur zu empfehlen, alles super lecker Essen, Getränke. Das Lokal hat Stil und der Servic muß Hellseher sein, es passte alles. Immer wieder gerne.

Gut besucht um die Mittagszeit. Essen war lecker und ein 3Gänge Menü zum Mittag war recht günstig. Vollkommen ausreichend.

Etwas versteckt in einer Passage (und deshalb keine schöne Aussicht) befindet sich diese Brasserie. Nichtsdestotrotz war es voll (Reservierung empfehlenswert), was auf das gute Essen hindeutet. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit den spanischen Tapas und dem leckeren Wein und werde gerne wiederkommen.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und die beiden Mitarbeiter/in nett und bemüht. Personell nicht gut aufgestellt und dennoch war die Servicequalität gut.

Zeker een aanrader als je in Bad Soden bent. Lekkere aspergesoep vooraf, met een lekker pitje waar ik van houd. Ook het hoofdgerecht viel prima in de smaak. Bediening was vriendelijk en snel. Kom zeker terug.
