Tastiest Kumpir in Hamburg, fresh selection every day, would love to come back!

The owner has changed and therefore unfortunately no longer the delicious Kumpir. The potato was mixed very little with cheese and butter. Maybe it was because the potato was empty. Outer shell was black. There were no drinks. Not even still water, just a type of organic tea. The waitress, a tall gentleman with a beard, was also very rude. His entire demeanor seems disinterested. The 2 stars only because the waitress brought our forgotten jacket after us

I had dinner at Green Garden Kumpir today. The food was okay, nothing special. However, I threw up all of the food. I've read more often in the comments that this isn't the first time. That was my first and last time!!!! Staff incredibly unfriendly. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Service is top but the store is unhygienic and does not pay attention to the expiry date of the products used. Many friends of mine had been there and almost all had stomach problems and unfortunately some had to vomit.

Good day, A few days ago I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend... Neither of us had eaten that day and were looking forward to our meal! Unfortunately, we got the whole package of foodborne infections (nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps) that evening (and no, it wasn't because of something we had eaten the day before!) Looking back, I read in the reviews that a similar incident had happened before!! I find it unbelievable that nothing has changed. Based on the responses to the reviews you can see that they are not taken seriously and only further excuses are sought. A clear no-go for me. I hope word gets around about these incidents!

The food was really tasty (unfortunately there was no more cabbage, so I had to change my order spontaneously), the ambience was fine, but what didn't work was the unfriendly person behind the counter! Customers not welcome... :(

This store is an absolute disaster. If the woman behind the counter doesn't want her job, then she should work somewhere else. How can you serve someone so emotionless and so bored? It didn't taste good either. You've now gotten so many reviews saying your service is complete garbage, and you still haven't done anything about it. Instead, you will definitely answer this again and write something like “yes, let’s change blah blah”. Never ever !

Kumpir disaster: never again! As a Kumpir lover and connoisseur of the Hamburg Kumpir scene, I was shocked by the experience I recently had in this Green Garden store. Unfortunately, this was the worst kumpir I have ever eaten. The sauce, which is usually the centerpiece of every kumpir, was simply inedible. It was watery, tasteless and offered no binding to the toppings. The toppings themselves were also a disappointment. They seemed carelessly piled up and tasted bland and uninspired. To make matters worse, there was an unhygienic atmosphere in the store. Flies circled around our food, causing additional inconvenience. On top of that, the Kumpir was also significantly too expensive compared to other Kumpirs in Hamburg. As if that wasn't enough, the salesperson who served us was extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful. He ignored our requests, grumbled under his breath and rolled his eyes in annoyance when we asked questions. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this store in any way. If you are looking for a good buddy in Hamburg, you should look for Mundsburg or Sternschanze. There are much better alternatives there!

Recommended only when the lady is serving, if you see a boy, get out of there. He has a terrible attitude, a way of responding that is worse, he is not interested in working, he does not serve you regular portions and he starts sleeping on the table. Is very annoying. The food is good but the MIStreatment of that young man is intolerable.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my visit to the Kumpir store was an extremely disappointing experience. Although the food itself was okay, the positive impression was quickly ruined by the extremely rude and mean service behind the counter. The employee seemed completely disinterested and unwilling to serve customers and his behavior was completely unacceptable. I was treated like I was a burden and his rudeness spoiled the whole visit. I'm sorry to say that based on this experience I cannot recommend ever visiting this store.

My experience at this store was absolutely disastrous. The food was OK, but the young man behind the counter was a disaster. Not only was he rude and mean, but he also seemed actively intent on alienating customers. His behavior was unbearable - he was so rude and disrespectful that I almost questioned whether I was even welcome. His tone was vulgar and his way of dealing with customers bordered on insulting. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism. In short: I will never enter this store again and advise anyone who appreciates good service to look elsewhere.

I can't judge the food because I didn't even get a chance to try it... yesterday around 8 p.m. I was there with 5 people, were greeted with an eye roll, and at the first question the young man behind the counter was so disrespectful and reacted annoyed that we left without ordering. Maybe the owner should think about who he hires, because his employees can definitely prepare SLS potatoes better if they don't scare away customers

How unfriendly can a waitress be? If you don't want to work with customers, you shouldn't look for a job in the catering industry... if you're insulted like that beforehand, you won't like the food anymore

Great store. In my opinion very good and especially very good in terms of the quality and quantity of the ingredients. The store is often very busy, so it is sometimes difficult to get a seat. The price-performance ratio is very well coordinated. The staff there is always very friendly, even when the crowds are very high.

Unfortunately, the colleague behind the counter had no idea how Kumpir was prepared. I had “Mexican” with a very sweet sauce. The vegetables were ice cold and mixing the potato insides with butter and cheese was completely impossible.

My second time in past one week here. The place is being served by a person who keeps talking “so loud” on his telephone. Last 30 minutes he is just talking without stopping. Kills the whole atmosphere of sitting here peacefully. 😕 He seems to be fully indifferent to any customers here! Not seen anywhere until now. Sorry not coming here again!

A kumpir costs 7,5 € irrespective of which one you order. I would say it's reasonably priced for a decent portion. I ordered the marroko and it was very tasty - not really spicy or hot as it was written on the menu, the location is also cool, would recommend to try it out!

Der Chickensalat war ein gelungenes Gericht. Das pulled chicken war zart und würzig, Couscous oder Bulgur, alles dabei, und die Salatblätter waren frisch und knackig. Die Garnitur mit Rucola und Kräutern war eine willkommene Abwechslung. Die Rucolablätter waren knackig und aromatisch, und die Kräuter verliehen dem Salat einen frischen Geschmack. Die genauen Kräuter konnten nicht eindeutig identifiziert werden. Der Kumpir war ein reichhaltiges und sättigendes Gericht. Die Kartoffel war außen knusprig und innen weich. Die Auswahl an Toppings war vielfältig und ansprechend. Neben der klassischen Knoblauchsauce standen auch Spinatsauce und andere Optionen zur Verfügung. Dies macht den Kumpir zu einem vielseitigen Gericht, das für jeden Geschmack etwas bietet.

Mein erstes Mal Kumpir gegessen. Güstiges leckeres warmes Essen. Ich komme gerne mal wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt gut. Leider kam es des öfteren vor, dass ausgeschriebene Zutaten nicht vorrätig waren. Außerdem wirkt der Laden ein wenig schmuddelig.

Ich war schon mehrmal hier Kumpir essen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist echt top. Man erhält große Protionen und es gibt eine mega große Auswahl an vegetarischen Alternativen. Es ist natürlich ein Imbiss, aber dafür finde ich, dass man dort recht gemütlich sitzen kann.

Ich war heute zum zweiten Mal hier essen. Das erste Mal ist schon einige Jahre her und ich hatte keine guten Erinnerungen an den Laden, aber ich dachte ich versuchs nochmal. Leider war meine Erfahrung heute deutlich schlechter. Die Person, die die Bestellung aufgenommen hat und das Essen zubereitet hat, war unglaublich unfreundlich und super genervt. Das Essen war mittelmäßig, dafür gibt es die 2 Sterne. Aber ich hab nicht einmal alle Zutaten bekommen, die in der Karte standen und auf den Hinweis darauf wurde ich einfach ignoriert. Der Preis war für die Menge auch zu hoch. Es gibt in der Gegend deutlich bessere Läden.

Das erste Mal, dass ich diese norddeutsche Spezialität probiert habe und war wirklich positiv überrascht. Es hätte mehr Fleisch sein können, aber insgesamt eine angemessene Portion. Mal etwas ganz anderes als die üblichen Imbisse. Sitzmöglichkeiten begrenzt. Leider einen Stern Abzug für den Verkäufer, der durchgehend gelangweilt und unhöflich auftrat.

Essen war super, Bedienung war ok. Leider draußen kaum Sitzmöglichkeiten. Trotzdem zu empfehlen und einen Besuch wert!

Das Essen ist eigentlich ganz gut. Aber die Frau, die verkauft, ist leider super unfreundlich. Da hat man keine Lust hinzugehen.

Leckere Kumpirs von freundlichen Damen! Die Preise sind okay und der Laden ist innen und außen gut gestaltet. Es ist halt mehr ein kleiner "Imbiss". Toll finde ich, dass man mit vielerlei Gewürzen die Kumpirs aufpeppen kann. Ayran gibt es auch.

Die Kartoffeln sind sehr lecker. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten/ Zusammenstellung, man kann sich aber auch seine eigene Lieblingskartoffel zusammenstellen. Um die Mittagszeit kann es schon man voll werden.

Wir waren gleich zweimal bei Kumpir König in Hamburg. Einmal an der Schanze und einmal in Harverstehude. Beide haben schnelle und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Extra Wünsche sind kein Problem und super lecker ist es sowieso. Für knapp 8€ (mit Getränk) wird man hier satt. Alles richtig gemacht:)

Kleiner Laden mit leckeren Kartoffelgerichten. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und es ist zu empfehlen. Tiche und Stühle waren für einen Imbiss sauber un ebenfalls ok. Leider spielte am Bestelltresen sehr laute Musik, was ich ziemlich störend fand. Außerdem war die Bedienung nicht bersonders freundlich. Somit ist mein Fazit. Essen gut, Service naja.
