Hier ist es immer voll. Jedoch bekommt man immer einen Platz neben netten Leuten. Der Service ist gut, das Essen sehr lecker und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis angebracht.

Man wandert von Westerland aus am Strand nach Wenningstedt und kann dann toll einkehren. Fischsuppe, Backfisch und Garnelen, es gibt alles, was das Herz begehrt. Auch toll für Sushi Liebhaber.

Delicious food at fair prices! Personally, I like Gosch in List's atmosphere a little better because the room is more open and the menu is larger. But if you live in Wenningstedt, you definitely have to stop by for a visit.

Food was OK. I had a baked potato and I enjoyed it. The quark wasn't skimpy either. The tables were cleared regularly but unfortunately rarely wiped. But in itself, with the view, it's a restaurant that invites you to stop by, even if it's just for a little refreshment after a walk.

We ordered a crab soup and got a potato soup with bacon and crabs. The reason is that crab soup is not available at the moment. This makes you wonder why this order was even taken. Bad service. We demanded the money back

Great Gosch restaurant, beautiful architecture. Everything is modern and attractively furnished. Unfortunately, the automatic glass doors to the terraces don't work, which is why you have to operate them by hand and at first you stand in front of them and don't know how to do it. The staff is very friendly, the food was fantastic. We had fettucine with salmon and the crayfish with fried potatoes. We enjoyed it very much. We'd love to come back! The waitress at the order counter was very friendly and gave our son a cuddly lobster!

Am Anfang, vor einigen Jahren, war die Gosch Welle noch ein Highlight! Heutzutage absolut verloren gegangen, meist unfreundlich oder teilnahmslose Bedienung und das GANZE hat total an Charme verloren! Und Essen Portionen mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis fast ein No Go!

Heute angekommen und große Lust auf "goschen" gehabt. Seit 15 Jahren kommen wir regelmäßig in der Wintersaison nach Wenningstedt und kennen noch das alte Lokal mit seiner besonderen Atmosphäre und Personal !! Letztes Jahr zur gleichen Zeit hier gewesen und dem neuenTeam noch alles Gute gewünscht. Leider müssen wir heute mit lustlosen Mitarbeitern vorlieb nehmen. Jede Menge Personal zum Abräumen. So mit 3 Gläsern um die Ecke kommen im Gänsemarsch. Hinter dem Verkaufstresen großzügig viel Personal, was sehr mit sich selbst beschäftigt war und durch Kundschaft doch gestört wurde. Die Qualität hat auch wieder gelitten. Der Backfisch aus der Fritteuse schmeckte nach altem Fett. So, fast genug der Enttäuschung. Die Toilettenanlagen haben leider auch schon bessere Tage gesehen, stand 25.1.2025, ca. 15 Uhr. Die Böden dürften schon länger nicht gewischt sein und ich rede nicht vom Sand, der dort auch sein darf. Traurig, was aus dem ehemaligen Gosch am Kliff geworden ist .

Aufgrund unserer bisherigen Erfahrung sind wir nur auf ausdrücklichen Wunsch unserer Freunde hier eingekehrt - die gleiche Erfahrung wie immer - extrem laut, so dass eine Unterhaltung kaum möglich ist. Drangvolle Enge. Personal wenig freundlich, die Teller werden bereits abgeräumt, kaum dass man aufgegessen hat. Die Mahlzeiten haben nur eine durchschnittliche Qualität. Nice place with a great view of the North Sea.

Das Personal ist extrem unqualifiziert und unfreundlich. Aperol Spritz gibt es nicht in den typischen Aperol Gläsern sondern in kleinen unappetitlichen Wassergläsern zum Preis von 9,50 Euro. Auf Nachfrage werden typische Aperol Spritz Gläser verweigert.

Even in winter you can sit on the covered terrace and enjoy a cozy meal with a view of the sea. The ambience is great, the food is typical Gosch. One point deducted for the self-service concept, which somehow seems out of place here. The restaurant is still always recommended.

We have enjoyed coming here often for many years. The friendly staff and the food were tasty and excellent. Friendliness behind the counter is rare to find. People talk in groups and cell phones are constantly in use. Also “Thank you!” or “Please!” has become extremely rare. They put so much effort into the decoration. It should also be noted that the elevator has been broken for days and no note has been attached to the elevator to communicate this.

Kommen seit vielen Jahren hier her - so schlecht wie die beiden letzten Jahre war es noch nie - man fühlt sich als Gast nicht mehr willkommen völlig unakzeptabel. Das neue Personal scheint eher mit sich beschäftigt als dem Gast so was wie Service bieten zu wollen. Wir hatten das Gefühl wir stürzen hier nur.

The sushi plate is not recommended. Similar to Meyer from the Asia stand. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. There is no service like that. You have to order the food at the counter and pick it up. Like in a canteen. The ambience is loud like a train station.

The currywurst was unappetizing because it was swimming in a liquid tomato sauce. Accordingly, the fries were completely soupy.

The food was tasty and well packaged as I took it home. That was a good thing, because I didn't feel welcome. You were looking for a friendly smile in vain and the words please and thank you were foreign words to the staff that evening even though it wasn't overly busy. We've been coming here for a good 20 years, but it's been declining significantly for about two years. Today the highlight is that a lady from the service clears the tables with black disposable gloves, then goes down to the toilets and does the service there. Then she goes up to the restaurant and the tables continue to be emptied. The great thing is, everything with the same gloves. Furthermore, there are no more espressos from 7.45 p.m. because they are being cleaned, although the shop is still busy. What a shame the development!

We go there every now and then to eat, because there is also something there for non-fish eaters, e.g. B. Fried potatoes and seaweed salad. Now we have eaten something really delicious for both the eye and the palate: celeriac with hummus and falafel, declared vegan, for €12.50. That didn't sound really exciting at first, but then it absolutely was. The cook in the kitchen enjoyed what he was doing - excellent! The ambience corresponds to that of the system catering, but the location directly on the cliff in Wenningstedt takes the whole thing out of the segment. The service behind the fish counter (thanks, Anna!) was extremely friendly and competent. For us the best Gosch on the island!

Fresh and tasty, large portions, not cheap, but with a fantastic view of the sea. Friendly staff, short waiting times and a quiet environment (no constant musical noise, as can be heard more and more often). Anyone who comes by here should just take a break. For a cappuccino, for example, you can pay significantly more elsewhere (than €3.40).

Update November 2024: GOSCH Wenningstedt is back - great, finally! Food much better again, nice personal staff, the change of managing director was very good. Keep it positive again. *************************** Since Jürgen Gosch is no longer there, it has clearly lost some of its character and charm... what a shame!

Definitely a must when visiting List. It is hopelessly overcrowded, but the fresh fish and the spectacle are definitely worth a visit.

You can sit there with a beautiful view of the sea. However, the numerous SMOKERS spoil your appetite. It's a shame that smoking is allowed here.

I celebrated my pree birthday party there with around 60 people and was totally thrilled. The service was fantastic and very friendly. My guests were very enthusiastic about the food and will definitely come back. Many thanks again to the team for the great organization and many thanks to everyone.

Been on the island and near Gosch for a long time. It's never been as bad as it is now! Dry fish and the presentation of the dish no longer have anything in common with the example photo. The quality has always suffered, but now it was the height of impudence in terms of price-performance ratio. The service also made us sit at dirty tables for a very long time.
