Gosh stop. It was very well attended, but there wasn't a long wait. The fish was fresh, the white wine was cold and the atmosphere was great. From fish sandwiches to fine fish platters, everything is recommended here. Depending on how hungry or hungry you may be.

Gosch am Kliff in Wenningstedt is fine so far. The view of the sea is excellent. Went there in October and just drank and warmed up.!! Gosch is actually always worth a visit.

Gosted today?😄 Gosch probably had to raise the prices too. But still within limits. Delicious food, lots of different little things, good wine. This is Gosh. Always happy again.

Food is okay so far. The service is good, even if there are queues. It is quite loud and when it is cold outside there is a draft in some places.

Beautiful gosch that fits well into the landscape. The food is good, but this Gosch has the most canteen or fast food restaurant character of all (for us!). However, the sunsets here are indescribably beautiful!

Very nice place. You can pamper yourself with Gosch products and enjoy the great view of the North Sea. Very nice atmosphere.

I celebrated my pree birthday party there with around 60 people and was totally thrilled. The service was fantastic and very friendly. My guests were very enthusiastic about the food and will definitely come back. Many thanks again to the team for the great organization and many thanks to everyone.

Been on the island and near Gosch for a long time. It's never been as bad as it is now! Dry fish and the presentation of the dish no longer have anything in common with the example photo. The quality has always suffered, but now it was the height of impudence in terms of price-performance ratio. The service also made us sit at dirty tables for a very long time.

The place is a cool piece of architecture, but somehow it doesn't seem to work as well as some of the other Gosch establishments on the island. Some of the staff seem to have missed out on the Gosch service standards training that is the norm elsewhere, and the seating is quite cramped. The location is great, but you can do the Gosch experience better elsewhere.

Null Service, Ambiente gleich null. Ofenkartoffel war lauwarm, halb verfault und der Quark war komplett ohne Geschmack. Keinerlei Service selbst die Tische wurden nicht gereinigt. Wir können nur von einem Besuch abraten. Auch Gosch in Westerland ist nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst.

Extremely expensive but nice location

We only ate matjes rolls, which were very tasty and the prices were okay.

That just doesn't work at all. On Sylt where it feels like every other dog has to be banned from entering because they bring their four-legged friend with them?????? And then to be barked at by the staff in a way that is at the level of the bottom drawer.... Gosch just doesn't need it anymore. Nope, I don't like that and so I'd rather go a few meters further to the compass or to the extra page because the dog and owner (including the owner, of course) are welcome there and it's really nice there.

A fixed starting point for every one of our stays on Sylt. Great atmosphere, tasty (not exactly cheap) food, delicious drinks. Tip (if it's dry), eat outside and enjoy the sea view.

Went there to eat currywurst and it was so delicious. It's really nice to sit there with a view of the sea and let your soul unwind.

Extremely crowded in the afternoon and evening around sunset. If you can get a seat on a bench.. good place for a fish sandwich and beer or wine. Inside, the ambience is so-so. Just modern

Gosch am Kliff hat eine super Lage für Sonnenuntergang Liebhaber. Dementsprechend voll ist es auch. Aber die Fischbrötchen sind gut und der Wein lecker.

Very tasty herring rolls to take away. The rolls are nice and crispy and the matjes are very tender. Of course you can also eat them on site.

I know, everyone goes bonkers over Gosch. We noticed the servers were abrupt and appeared annoyed except for the take away chef. This was on a Monday afternoon, when it was far from busy. The food was fine. The eel was expensive, barely there and tasteless, the bbq prawns were fine and the tuna sashimi was very yummy.

Unfortunately the staff wasn't friendly. And way too loud. Resembles canteen character. However, food was good. Abet Cola from plastic cups. It's not possible if you eat there.

The location is one of the most beautiful Gosch on Sylt, right on the dune with a sea view. Self-service is completely ok and everything goes faster. As with all Goschs, the selection is large and largely identical. Shrimp and fish dishes very tasty. Prices are still ok .

If you like it, Gosch am Lister Hafen has more ambience.

It's become more expensive, but it's still tastefully designed, structurally...

Great location, sea views and fresh cuisine, seafood, fish and good white wine. Visited in February, so not overcrowded. Unfriendly, rushed service in September and packed.

Food is good. But it takes forever until the tables are wiped down. Smoking is allowed inside.

Always packed and very loud. Food good but expensive. I only put myself through this beer tent atmosphere in an emergency...

3 stars for the ambience, but only for the view of the North Sea. It drips through the tarpaulin onto the table. The food is anything but tasty. Fish and russet potatoes limp and greasy, like they came from a deep fryer. The same bottle of wine costs 18.50 one time and 27.50 the next. Very disappointing!!!!

Super nice, food fresh and delicious. All nice. Unfortunately it's just way too full.

This is our first time on Sylt and of course we wanted to visit GOSCH and try delicious fish. Unfortunately it didn't work out as expected, there was no space, when we found a high table on the side it wasn't even cleaned, the crab roll was ok, unfortunately there was hardly any cocktail sauce on it. Wine was good just not cold enough. Then we each ordered scampi with fried potatoes twice, which were almost cold when they arrived at the table and everything here was full of cocktail sauce, completely unnecessary. So our expectations were hugely disappointed, once and never again we had such a bad meal for so much money, everything was probably great at one time, but it has long since become obsolete.

Very good fine fish platter with 3 different fish fillets including salmon, mussels and scampi, as a side dish fried potatoes, vegetables and a hollandaise sauce, all very tasty 👍🏻 I found that the restaurant is very busy at typical peak dining times, even in the winter off-season. Still good a year later. We had Thai noodles, garlic baguette and shrimp, service attentive and nice, everything 👍🏻

Despite the significantly increased prices, we like to come here to Gosch am Kliff during our vacation. The view of the North Sea is simply fantastic. But I also have to admit that we visit the restaurant significantly less than usual.

It cannot be described, it has to be experienced. For me an absolute highlight for Sylt.

Unfortunately it was completely overcrowded outside and inside due to the good weather, the right time, Gosch and the location with a view. Therefore, fairytale/hype feeling with caution: next ride backwards there will be loud noise and chatter from the passengers. Entertainment was hardly possible there... Food, the fish was ok, although there was a lot left on my sister-in-law's plate🤔 the currywurst was as short as my middle finger and unfortunately, the frying fat was too old. Heartburn. So if you want to experience something in the middle of a crowd of people, you've come to the right place at the right time. We don't sea🏁🚫

I found it very loud and busy at Gosch I didn't like the ordering system and picking it up myself at all...don't know if I'll have to have it again.

There was a lot going on again. Go to Gosch at least twice every year. This year the food selection was a little less than last year and I think it is no longer of the same quality as last year. Of course, this is all a matter of taste.

What can you say... peak season and Gosch in Wenningstedt... you have to want it. The smell of grease throughout the hut, queuing at different stations for different dishes, crowded, loud... everything deliciously fried. But somehow this is also a form of self-flagellation on a Sylt vacation... ideally on the first evening and then afterwards you will find the price level in Kampen justified again. 😂

Rarely have I experienced such a stroppy and unmotivated staff. An employee interview would be urgently recommended here. Apart from the soft fries, the food was okay, just as Gosch suspected.

Not what it used to be. The ambience is great, the service is severely lacking and the employees have very little interest (or so it seems from the outside). The Thai noodles with shrimp were okay, noodles were still too hard and the dish was only lukewarm. Apart from that, the salmon noodles tasted very good. Still, it's a shame, everything slows down a little from year to year.

Completely overrated… mass processing with a great view without flair, nothing more and nothing less. It's a shame, really a shame

The salad with crayfish was sandy - whether it came from the lettuce or the crayfish??? When you chew the last bite, your plate is taken away even though your partner is still eating.

Food not worth the money, service adequate, atmosphere great

Although it is beautifully located and has a great atmosphere, I find it absolutely incomprehensible why a place that seems to value quality offers inedible coffee that comes out of the machine at the push of a button. Even at McDonald's they now work with a portafilter machine and froth milk by hand. I expect more from Gosch.

Absolutely the worst crab soup I have ever been offered. The crabs must have been hiding in the kitchen. Bad unfriendly service. Everything designed for maximum profit. Here the customer is not king and is simply exploited.

Beautiful sunset location, food ok for the amount produced there but not always perfect

The food is ok, the location on the beach is of course very good, something could be invested in the furnishings. It's a shame that you don't get served, you get the impression that you're in a fast food restaurant. Get food at one counter, drinks at the other. So you have to queue twice, and when there's a lot going on, it can be annoying.

Stop off after a walk on the beach and enjoy delicious bistro food. The service is impeccable and the view of the North Sea from there is magnificent.

Here you can find everything your heart desires. Very tasty food. We ate lunch and dinner at Gosch. There is something for everyone.

Super nice self-service restaurant just a few meters from the beach. During our vacation on Sylt we visited Gosch on several evenings and were very satisfied every time. The restaurant was always very full, so you have to wait. We always sat outside with a great view of the beach or the sea. The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, there is something for everyone. Prices a little higher, but appropriate for Sylt.

The currywurst was less tasty, the fried fish was very tasty.

Very tasty food and a nice location. Unfortunately very, very crowded and loud when you sit inside.

The stremella salmon roll is offered for 5 EUR and is not salmon, but the much cheaper salmon trout. The employees apparently don't know the difference. Even after I clarified, nothing was changed days later. This is obviously a scam and, in my opinion, clear customer fraud! That wouldn't have happened with Jürgen Gosch. But the next generation doesn't seem to care and unfortunately you can see the greed for profit maximization in many places. The quality is getting worse and worse and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Absolute failure. One can only hope that the old generation will get involved again and steer things in the right direction again!

Unfortunately, unmotivated, arrogant staff... At the counter and also in the service... unfortunately... But of course... personnel issues are difficult everywhere... Mass production....Next time for sure again in style....

Good lunch with a nice sea view.

A Gosch restaurant that has a great view and is located right by the sea. Moderate prices and self-service. We've only been here in the summer months - it's quite crowded at that time. Therefore, you should expect that you will have to queue for a short moment and that you may have to wait until a table becomes available. There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant, but they are also quite full in the summer months. We have always been happy with the food. After eating you can take a walk along the promenade or on Wenningstedt's beach. There are now also canapés here, like in List in the Old Barrel Hall.

The sundowner is highly recommended. Having a drink or snack during the day is just fun with this view. The staff is very friendly even in rush hour and work professionally with the stressed-out holidaymakers looking for food.

The location is great, with a beautiful sunset atmosphere in the evening! The food is solid “North Sea restaurant quality”, but it doesn’t get any better given the mass production. As always, it's mercilessly overcrowded in the evening, but you should still come here and take the Gosch feeling with you and enjoy the sunset with a fish plate. The children love the fried calamari and the fish pieces.
