Fits! Good little restaurant in Terminal 1A

Had a beer. Not at all expensive for an airport. 6€ and in a glass.

Ideal for business lunch or dinner

Small portions wich evidently are just heated does not justify the term restaurant

terrible service. Waited for a table for a long time but then was denied of it saying others waited first when there wasn’t any indication of that/ a line/a waiting area

After really poor service for only 2 drinks, asked me if I wanted to tip 15% or 20%. I didn’t get an option. Very rude staff

The food here is very good, with the hamburger being a standout recommendation. Additionally, the salmon dish is also a great choice. My recent visit to Goodman & Filippo at Frankfurt Airport was disappointing. The restaurant is split into two sections: takeaway and dine-in. This division is not clearly marked unless you walk around the entire establishment. We mistakenly bought sandwiches and drinks for 40€, thinking we could sit in the dine-in area, only to be turned away because we had purchased takeaway. Unfortunately, the quality of the takeaway food did not make up for this inconvenience. The bread was dry, which further detracted from the overall experience. Clearer signage and improved food quality would greatly enhance customer satisfaction.

place was almost totally empty. wanted to sit down in a little booth and order something to eat. was told i am not allowed to sit there but should move to a small uncomfortable looking table because these booths are „reserved for groups“ — the terminal totally quiet at this moment, mid morning, no people in sight. literally there were about a dozen empty booths. so much for that famous german „Gastfreundschaft“ 🤣

Everything was fine, I was about to finish my sandwich and leave to my gate. Then a waiter aproached me and told me I cannot sit there because it is only for customers ordering at the table. It was not a table but a second bar next to the tables. I spent 20€ and stayed there for 10 minutes. My problem is not it is forbidden to sit there, but someone kicking me out and not being able to enjoy the last bite of my meal.

Similar experience as Yana below. Staff unattentive and chatting among themselves, waited for few mins at the counter before anyone approached. Did not allow me to sit even though the place was completely empty.

Good selection of sandwiches, snacks, drinks etc. Prices take some getting used to but seem normal. Sandwich with soft drink 9 euros

I wish I read a previous review first before I ordered food. I ordered food at the bar but I sat at the table. I was chased away from the table since the tables are only for 4 people. However 3 tables were free. The waitress started rolling out eyes on me when I pointed that out. It is ridiculous that you need to eat your dinner at the bar in a “restaurant”. Pizza was bad (even for airport standard) . there are much better places to eat at terminal 1. It was first and last time at this place and I will strongly advice to avoid it.

Advertising products/offers on the TVs that are not there to attract customers. I was not offered an alternative to this offer. The cappuccino tastes okay.

Horrible experience…. Waiters very rude. Frozen food that tastes horrible and soggy never eat here I got sick after eating 🤮🤢

We were pleasantly surprised. Very attentive and warm service. Had a special meal, Italian bratwurst with parmesan fries and a 0.5 beer drink. Perfectly tapped beer. Very tasty and very well priced for the airport. Excellent.

When I arrived, my mother and I wanted to sit on the couch and rest after a 14-hour flight. The man behind the bar refused. He said a sofa for four visitors, but two girls were sitting nearby on such a sofa. He said that they were eating, but I didn't even look at the menu. I wanted to sit down first. This is ridiculous. I don't like the service like that. But the pizza was delicious!

Danny was an awesome cocktail waiter. The old fashioned is not your typical. It was super smooth to drink. Awesome personality and fun to talk with. Food and drinks were quick to swear even when it got super busy!

Visually appealing, but unfortunately the restaurant part is closed. Instead, self-service with unmotivated staff that creates a bad mood. Wine from plastic cups, with the glasses ready to hand behind the counter. A group of 10 people wanted to go into the restaurant area, but were rudely turned away. Much too expensive for the entire package, that could be much better.

Designed to be visually appealing, one is initially surprised by the closed area with tables and the “self-service” signs on the counter. Food and drinks are of a normal price-performance ratio for an airport, but I have rarely experienced such grumpy and listless staff. When a group of 10 approached, one got the impression that the staff present were afraid of having to serve these guests. We ourselves got plastic cups with our wine instead of glasses, which were in abundance on the shelf. The bottom line is that you can spend your time at the airport much better - it's a shame

Worst place ever. An empty restaurant with around 30 free tables and a dozen employees chit chatting as if they were on vacation. I waited 10 minutes to get served and when that finally happened I get told to sit at the bar for my meal because I'm 'alone. Not commercial at all.

Today I wanted to have a cappuccino at Goodman & Filippo (A58) and eat a piece of cake while I waited for my plane. There are two seating areas with tables. One area was completely empty. Of the other four tables, only two were occupied and two were empty. The staff politely informed me that it was not desirable for an individual to sit down at a table, and I was turned away when I asked for a seat. The space should be reserved for larger groups. The most I could do was choose a seat at a high stool at the bar. The bar was rather well filled and it was too narrow for me. I also didn't want a high chair because I don't like sitting on barstools. Given the emptiness of the terminal and the many free seats at the tables (see photo), I felt very badly treated. I had the impression that the staff shied away from the extra effort of opening a table. Since I then canceled the visit, I don't want to judge the ambience and food.

Good coffee and friendly service.

That was anything but appetizing. During our stay of about 30 minutes, three mice literally ran over our feet. And in a restaurant! The waiter who was called reacted rather boredly and said that there was nothing that could be done, that the mice were coming from outside. The two hamburgers for a total of 40.00 euros left a bad aftertaste afterwards and I hope that the actual kitchen area is free of bugs.

Customer service non-existent, very unfriendly. Spent there over 20€ for coffees, mini pizza and other snacks and were told we are not allowed to sit at the table because we didn't order anything from their "meal menu". Although they have like 20 tables, 15 of which are blocked (kept empty) for whatever reason. Very disappointing experience.

10:30am: we cannot sit at a table because we must take something from the Menu. No option to have a sandwich or a croissant either. It doesnt make any sense

Poor service, not friendly. The waiter didn’t take my order because I was sitting at wrong table. The bartender said we need to take high bar chairs even if we were with small kid. The worst experience after traveling the whole day.

Very unfriendly and incompetent staff. The take a way and a la cart is not clearly separated. At the take away you get the coffee from a fully automatic machine and cold. For take away you don't get the coffee from the existing portafilter machine!!!! I stood there for 5 minutes and I was not the only one who left in a rage.

Zum kurzen Zwischenstop noch mal was zum Essen und Trinken.

Super Burger mit großem dicken Patty. Aufgeschlossener, freundlicher und schneller Service. Hier kann man entspannt die Zeit vor dem Abflug verbringen.

Zu zweit Essen bestellt, Menüanpassung war gegen kleinen Aufpreis kein Problem und ganz wunderbar flexibel. Ambiente ist wirklich schön, aber halt Flughafen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hatte Restaurantpreise, keine extra Flughafen-Preise. Sollten wir noch mal hier sein, gern wieder.

Mein Mann und ich waren hier essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich begrüßt und bedient und die Pizzen, die wir uns bestellt hatten, waren sehr lecker (und definitiv keine TK-Ware - ich weiß wirklich nicht, wie hier manch eine*r darauf kommt). Das Personal wirkte fröhlich und hat untereinander immer wieder Späße gemacht, was uns zum Lachen gebracht hat. Dafür, dass das Restaurant mitten auf dem Flur in einem Flughafen ist, stimmt das Ambiente. Es war sauber und bequem.

Schneller Service, Preise flughafenüblich. Hatte den Chickenburger, der wirklich gut war, der kleine Beilagensalate ist tatsächlich winzig, die Beilagenpommes dafür viel, mir aber deutlich zu salzig.

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie, doskonała obsługa. Kelner - rewelacja. Ceny jak na lotnisko ok. Pizza, litrowe piwo I można czekać na lot. Bardzo fajna atmosfera. Chętnie wrócimy 😉👍

Von Höflichkeit im " to go " Bereich scheint die Dame noch nie etwas gehört zu haben.

Entgegen der negativen Bewertungen kann ich nur vom Gegenteil berichten. Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr nett und die Burger waren ausgezeichnet.

Tilasin margarita pizzan. Pizza oli yksi parhaista pizzoista jota olen maistanut. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja kohtuullisen nopeaa. Hinnat olivat todella kalliit, mutta niin on kaikkialla lentokentällä.

Edited and upgraded the rating, again. It’s November 2022. This place is the best version of itself since months of not years. Friendly and competent service. Full selection of foods and drinks. I come here whenever I am flying from Terminal 1 A - even if I have to walk to A36 later. Edit and star upgrade: I came here a month later, again- and it was perfect. A quiet oasis in the middle of the crazy airport. Attentive service. Good speed and turnover. Update: came here again for a late breakfast. The serviced area was closed and there was Solo youngster at the counter. She was unenthusiastic but got the job done. Prices are getting horrendous here. If you can: this is the place in Terminal 1/A to go to, if you have time and don’t come during rush hour. So good for lunch or dinner. Often much less crowded than other areas. Original review: Good quality, but the service was completely overwhelmed during lunchtime.

They had a good manual coffee machine but for some unknown reason they only give you the bad coffee from the automatic machine when ordering it to go. Same price..

A nice bar close to the gate. You can come close to the gate and then have a nice relaxed beer before you board. Perfect option.

Quite a busy place on Friday afternoon, however I was able to get a table without any wait. Service was super quick and quite nice! I enjoyed a glass of very good rose and a meal. As this place mainly offers pizza, pasta and burgers I opted for the teriyaki chicken burger. I was a bit disappointed, it was pretty much just plain chicken with a teriyaki sauce just poured over it, and not a very good one! Prices are high, but that is unfortunately everywhere at Frankfurt Airport. Paid with card. Visited in July 2022.

Great place to eat if you can find a spot. The pizzas could be shared and the service is a little slow but still an overall decent airport spot.
