I found this place randomly, but I was really really happy with it. I was there on a Thursday morning for lunch, and the restaurant was basically just for me. The environment inside is calm and beautiful, really reminded me of some restaurants in Vietnam. I had bún chả and the flavour was absolutely ON POINT, brought me directly back to Vietnam. Also, the portions are huge. The people who work there are an absolute delight, they checked on me a couple of times to make sure that the food was good and that I was having a good time. Strongly advised and saved in my favourites 🇻🇳

Went for dinner on a Saturday and got an outdoor table after a 5 min wait. The menu didn't have a lot of variety, especially in Starters. I ordered the tofu in red curry with rice and a Saigon beer - they only have bottled beer. Food arrived within 10 mins of ordering, was well presented and tasted delicious. The service was great too. The tofu and vegetables in the 'Sides' section were steamed, no spices or flavor. Overall a good experience and I'd totally visit again.

We came here today following a personal recommendation. And we weren't disappointed. Super friendly, and they kept asking if everything was okay, how it tasted, and whether we enjoyed it! My idea of good service, please keep up the friendly approach! Starter, two main courses, and three drinks for under €50!!! Super good and great value for money.

Absolutely my favorite Vietnamese food in Berlin. The people there are so kind and welcoming. The food is fantastic and extremely tasty. Be careful with the chili, but it comes separately, so you can control it yourself. The pho is absolutely top-notch!!!

The inside of the cafe smells very bad. We ordered pho, dimsan and vegetables with potted rice. The pho was still okay, but not a delight, but the vegetables were completely tasteless, overcooked like a rag, it was impossible to feel any taste in the vegetables, and the rice was sticky. It felt like they had reheated stale food. I came here based on reviews, but these reviews are not true. I do not recommend this place and will never come here again🤢

Had Com tam ha cha hap- steamed jasmine rice with roasted chicken. It was very tasty and I can recommend the restaurant. The service was also very courteous.

We have only recently moved in across the street and we are already big fans, the food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, the menu is not so overwhelming that it overwhelms you, there are vegan dishes and the homemade non-alcoholic sodas are great, we come and have already come back.

Nothing to complain about. Very pleasant place, several dishes all very good and very generous. An impeccable quality/price/service ratio. The toilets are clean, the waiters very pleasant. A perfect place to taste Vietnamese dishes.

We had dinner here last night (December 31st) and we really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Come again!

We were able to celebrate our civil wedding with almost 20 people at Gon 80 and had a really great experience. Everything was lovingly decorated and prepared, the buffet-style food was ready in a timely manner and, above all, incredibly tasty! Our guests (family members, including children and vegetarians) were thrilled and the evening was a complete success. It felt very personal and familiar, but at the same time the service was great. Thanks to the Gon 80 team for the great evening!!!

Great South Vietnamese restaurant with very tasty local dishes. Located somewhat hidden. All the nicer to have gotten to know it. I had 2 summer rolls and the chicken with honey sauce as the main course. Both very, very tasty and at a more than fair price (16 EUR). I'll definitely come back on my next visit to Berlin!

Very friendly, attentive service and exceptionally delicious food! The fall rolls with peanut sauce are delicious, as is the dim sum starter. I also liked the vegetarian noodles (No. 22) with salad wonderfully. If we lived nearby, we would be regular guests - unfortunately we live in another city... but next time we're in Berlin, we'd love to come back! :-)

Food was okay taste wise, but the waiter brought 3 wrong orders. Also my curry wasn’t supposed to be spicy but it was. The udons that should’ve been spicy weren’t. The ice tea didn’t taste like the promised peach-lemongrass and it was more crushed ice and orange slices than anything else. For a quick meal somewhere it’s okay but I wouldn’t recommend it for a nice dinner experience.

Finally there is a great Vietnamese restaurant nearby! We had a Pho Bo and a Bun bo Saigon. This is a mixture of Bun Nem and Bun Bo Nam Bo, i.e. with beef and spring rolls. Both were absolutely delicious, the broth of the Pho was very spicy and tasty. The Bun Bo Saigon with lots of fresh salad and a delicious dip. The beef was marinated nicely and spicy. The landlord was super friendly and very attentive. We will come back often and try the rest of the menu! Yummie. That was 5 years ago now... And today we still have the tastiest Pho :-)

The food is more like 3 stars, I found it to be too salty overall, the portions weren't particularly generous, and the prices were close to the limit. But the friendliness definitely deserves 5 stars! I was a bit dismayed when we asked for fried noodles and chicken for a small child and were told that it wasn't on the menu. Just one star for flexibility :-( Edit 2024: the food is no longer too salty, the portions are appropriate. But I miss the spices, herbs and excitement that I know from Vietnam. Honestly the best pho I've ever had! Very fast, great portion sizes, friendly staff, great experience. We are visiting from Pittsburgh and this was the first place we ate and I'm so glad we did!

I honestly can't understand the 4.8 rating. In my opinion, the food is at best below standard. It was barely seasoned, very inspired and the rice was a bit mushy. The summer rolls were good. I wouldn't necessarily recommend coming here.

We were there spontaneously on Sunday early in the evening, the good reviews attracted us :) Lo and behold, they are absolutely justified! We had summer rolls as a starter, very tasty. The main course was a vegan, a vegetarian and a meat dish - perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and tasted great. We even got the cocktails to go. It was a perfect start to the evening. We'd love to come back if we get the chance. PS: we had what appeared to be a new waiter, he was totally busy but sweet. You have to give young people a chance, we took it with humor and still got tips :) keep it up young man, when we come back you'll have everything under control!

Really good Pho! The udon and vermicelli noodles had great flavor. The duck was nice and crispy. The mango Lassi was delicious. Really close to Viktoriapark so a perfect place to stop by before or after hanging out in the park.

Me and 2 of my friends were looking for a place to have dinner. After 2 weeks of pizza and kebabs, we wanted to eat something new. Convinced by the excellent reviews, we decided to try this ethnic restaurant. We were super satisfied! And we will definitely be back. We really liked it, both for the very friendly waiters (they also speak English), and for the quality/variety of the food. The dishes are absolutely healthy and the portions generous. The choice is also wide for vegetarians/vegans. The 3 of us spent €56, we took: 2 soups + 1 portion of spring rolls + 1 plate of stewed beef + 1 beer + 1 still water + 1 cocktail. Compared to other restaurants we went to we spent less. They have tables both inside and outside. I recommend it to everyone!

We went there for an early lunch. The spring rolls were some of the very best I’ve had. Really delicious. I had noodles with prawns - was so good. My partner had pho which was also excellent. They are friendly and welcoming and I would definitely go back.

I found this restaurant because it was conveniently close to where I was going to shop one day. I found the food to be delicious and healthy. The decor is beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful. I have been returning for lunch day after day. It is a wonderful experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place.

A Gem! The best Vietnamese restaurant we have found in Berlin. Superb chef, lovely ambiance, delightful staff and authentic art from Vietnam. The classic noodle dishes are more artfully spiced and the clay pot is a sheer delight. We went 5 days in a row- that says it all.
