Nam Ý in Berlin

This is the fourth time I have been to this wonderful restaurant and I always enjoy coming back. Every time I am amazed by the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service. I would particularly like to recommend the refreshing coriander lemonade, which impresses with its special taste. The mango lassi is also wonderfully fruity. Everything is just right here, from the choice of food to the ambience. There's always good music playing here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I love this restaurant!! Always delicious and very friendly and attentive service. The menu is varied and inviting and the food does what it promises! Special recommendation goes to the homemade spring rolls and the pho!!! The young waiter with the glasses in particular is incredibly friendly and hard-working Always my pleasure!!:)

A vegan restaurant that is also great for non-vegans! The food was super delicious! Strawberry lassi tastes breathtaking, rice in curry with the vegan duck was a dream and the employees were all super nice! The restaurant looks beautiful and well maintained and the toilets are to die for! If I lived here, I would come and eat here non-stop. 10/10

We come here several times a year and have never been disappointed. With the new menu, the operator returns to his roots and offers almost exclusively Vietnamese vegan dishes. Sushi is banned from the menu - no loss as there are plenty of other sushi bars in Berlin. The traditional cuisine with lots of fresh ingredients and flavors is perfectly interpreted in its vegan version. We'll definitely be back soon!

We had an amazing dinner. We didn’t know it was vegan, which was a bonus for us. I ordered the special salad bowl and everything was delicious! I’ve never tried tempura avocado and it was a great discovery. I had a tea with mint, ginger and orange, which I am taking the recipe home. The service was very fast and the owner was very friendly. I totally recommend this place.

NAM Y is our absolute favorite Vietnamese in Pankow. The food is always made completely fresh and despite the dessert being vegetarian, you don't miss anything because there are really great vegetarian dishes that you don't find in every Vietnamese restaurant. We particularly appreciate the bowls and the dessert department (you can never get enough of Davin:). Oh and not a restaurant with 20 euros per main course but absolutely great price/performance!!!

Unfortunately not completely vegan (condensed milk, etc. for the drinks), but a large selection. There is a cheaper weekly menu, but otherwise the prices have risen quite a bit. The dishes are good, but some of them contain far too little tofu (coconut milk soup and mango salad in my case) and could use a bit of a "twist" (in the sense of a taste increase from other Asian restaurants). Service is usually very friendly. The ambience is pleasant and you can sit outside quite nicely despite the proximity to the street. Conclusion: something for every now and then, but solid quality, fast service and very tasty coriander lemonade!

I rarely go to a restaurant, but when I do I always come here :) the food is super (!) delicious and the people who work there are really nice. I always felt very comfortable, whether with just one friend or a whole group. Definitely a recommendation in Pankow.

Great spot to dine in and get some nutritious food. Wait time was a bit long but the atmosphere is calm and in a very quiet residential area.

I accidently found this vegan restaurant and love it at the first try! I ordered tofu curry, the tofu was very soft and the curry soup was super tasty. I also loved the coriander lemonade, it’s really fresh. One last thing, the service here was great, the staffs were tentative and friendly. Highly recommended!

Sweet service, friendly staff, at the end there was watermelon on the house. You can also sit outside very nicely. The food was also good, but the portions were a bit small and there were relatively few vegetables.

I'm sorry but I've never eaten so badly. The waitress was nice but was too bored, so we had to wait 15 minutes for the bill (we were the only customers).

Very good food. The vegetables have the right firmness. The dishes are different but well seasoned. Service is usually very friendly and is one of our regular restaurants. Probably family business.

Discovered the vegan duck. Very tasty, the 214e was wonderful: slightly spicy and with a sweet note. The vegan duck was also great. Unfortunately I have to deduct points for the ambience because the music is annoying.

We have been guests here for years and have often ordered - always the vegan dishes - you are never disappointed here - whether vegan chicken or vegan duck - everything is great! The peanut sauce also tastes really like peanuts. We recommend! Because we were asked for feedback from the staff: for my taste, dish 214 could have more garlic and possibly spices such as pepper, fresh coriander and peanuts on top as a topping would also be nice. Personally, I really like coriander, but that's a matter of taste. The dish was marked with a chili pepper but was only minimally spicy, so it could be a little more if that's what the original dish intended. :)

100% recommendation! Try the vegan duck, all variants tested, all delicious! My favorite: mango coconut sauce Large portion, lots of different vegetables, lots of sauce, Vytal reusable packaging on request and everything at a fair price (€14.90) ... from fair people: I wanted to take a beer with me and was immediately kindly informed that it was very expensive for a take-away beer. Much more expensive than at Späti but it was delicious :) I will be a customer there often and can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat delicious vegan food.

Very tasty vegan food! I had 199 as I’m trying to understand how tofu can be tasty. Well, this time it was great.

Go there, simply delicious! E.g. the perfect summer bowls! The crunchy, versatile salad is so fresh, with pomegranate grapes, beans, beetroot leaves, avocado and much more. The “marinated baked avocado” version is my favorite, you have to try it. I like the ambience, a vegan oasis on Wollankstr., where you can unwind after work indoors in winter (with fresh ginger lime teas), and a nice outdoor area in summer. The operators are very friendly and personal, more chatty than most other Vietnamese restaurants; you can tell that it was conceived and cooked with heart.

Been coming here occasionally for 3 years, every time it's delicious. Quality is still high and you are always treated kindly. We can recommend Nam Y to everyone without reservation. Even as a non-vegan, the food is wonderful, I don't notice any difference in terms of taste and consistency. On the contrary, I actually taste it better than meaty alternatives.

We only discovered the restaurant a few weeks ago and have been regular guests ever since! It's just great to have a purely vegan restaurant right around the corner. The dishes are simply delicious and lovingly prepared, seasoned perfectly for us. The staff is always very friendly and you immediately feel at home. The food is also served quickly and hot. Just try it out and let yourself be convinced.

The Nam Y restaurant is an absolute highlight in the Berlin vegan restaurant scene! The food was not only incredibly tasty, but also creatively and lovingly prepared. We like coming here, the room is very pleasantly furnished. The toilets smell good and are clean. The staff is very friendly and approachable. There is a large and varied selection of vegan food!
