Update: In my opinion, the shop has improved a lot. The meat tastes okay, and the sauces are also good (I don't even think the hot sauce is ketchup-based). Not bad at all, it's doable! Old review from April: It's a shame there isn't a better kebab in Golm. The meat is quite watery, the bread and sauces are bland and have hardly any flavor of their own. But if you have no other alternative, you'll be satisfied here and don't need to worry about hygiene.

In my opinion the best kebab in the area.

Good kebab, everything fresh and tasty. I have to say the spicy sauce has diminished somewhat compared to a year or two ago. The price/performance ratio is also good: €6.50 for a kebab.

One of the best kebabs I've ever tasted.

For a few weeks now, there's been a poster here advertising a vegan seitan doner kebab. The poster also states: 100% plant-based. I wanted to try it today. When I answered the question "which sauce?" with "the vegan one, please," the kebab shop told me they didn't have any vegan sauce. That's not acceptable. Please either offer a vegan sauce or remove the "vegan" label from the poster.

Unfortunately, I don't like the taste of kebabs and they don't agree with me. And I like to eat kebabs often. But unfortunately, not here in Golm anymore...

So far, I've only tried vegan dürüm and some falafel from a doner kebab, both of which are great! The falafel is the best for me, so I never try the seitan ones. I'm very happy with the vegan selection, but it would be nice if the falafel options were cheaper than the meat ones, since the ingredients for falafel are much cheaper. €7 is quite a lot for a student, so I can't get something often.

The Golm Dönerhaus, across from the campus, is the only kebab shop in Golm. "Kebab house" is actually quite a euphemism for this small food truck. In the summer, you can at least sit outside. Since I was there with my wife in the winter, that wasn't possible. But since Golm train station is right next door, you can also sit comfortably on the benches by the tracks. I had a falafel sandwich with fries, and my wife had a kebab box with fries. The service was very nice, but what stood out was the tiny fryer. This meant it took a while for the fries to cook, and as a vegetarian, I wasn't so keen on the fact that they also fry burger patties and currywurst in it. The fries tasted accordingly of rancid fat, but the consistency was good. Unfortunately, they were very unevenly salted. Too salty on top and not salted at all on the bottom. I wanted curry sauce with it, and it was quite tasty, but unfortunately there was only a very small blob. Overall, it was too dry for me. The bread on the sandwich wasn't toasted properly and got soggy quickly, so it ended up splitting open, even though there wasn't enough sauce on it. But at least the spicy sauce was nice and spicy and delicious. The salad was also fresh and well-cut. The falafel tasted okay, but not crispy at all and very soft, which was probably due to the weak fryer. I also found it pretty disgusting that they used the same rather dirty-looking tongs that they used to put the meat on, so I had a little extra bit of meat in my sandwich. According to my wife, the meat was also rather subpar. Not crispy at all and heavily over-seasoned with flavor enhancers, so she could only eat about half of the kebab box. Overall, we were rather dissatisfied. The salad and sauces were good, but the rest was not so good. There were quite a few items that weren't that tasty. It's a shame, because the students there really deserved better.

The kebab and also the Turkish pizzas were really tasty at one time but have declined dramatically in the last few months. Way too many vegetables in it and the structure of the kebab isn't good either + sauces don't taste good. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot recommend it at all

Good for quick hunger, especially when the cafeteria is closed, but I would never go there for enjoyment.

Meat not good 👎🏿 I ordered normal meat and there was just a lot of chicken in it and also things that I didn't want. Doner bad 🙅‍♂️

Still holds up to the highest standards in terms of taste and quality. In addition, you shouldn't forget that the price-performance level here is still very good. I'm just saying a Turkish pizza with double cheese and an iced tea for 10 euros. Where else current? If I'm nearby I like to stop there! Lieferando is now also there, but unfortunately it doesn't deliver to Werder, which is a shame :( And a phone number here on Google Maps would also be great, it's not currently available. Der beste Döner denn ich je gegessen habe

I buy tasty and delicious Döners from this place the days I am in Golm.

Dieser Laden wertet mein Uni Leben unvorstellbar viel auf. Ich gehe zeit 2 Semestern regelmäßig dort essen, es ist einer der billigsten Döner in Potsdam und mit Abstand der leckerste in Potsdam.

Lecker lecker lecker und ordentliche Portionen

Dönertranszendenzerfahrung: - bin in golm, kein mittag gegessen - gibt am bahnhof son dönerwagen, mal abchecken was so preise sind - vegetarischer Döner mit schafskäse 4€, nice! - "meister, einen vegetarischen döner bitte" "mit schafskäse?" "ja bitte" - meister macht das brot knusprig warm und macht richtig ordentlich meine beiden soßen rauf, premium - ich sag viel rotkohl pls, er macht zwiebeln und rotkohl rein, dann den käse, damit der in der mitte ist, profi - dann fragt er, ob ich mais möchte, ist free, auch nicht selbstverständlich - macht danach tomaten/gurken, nochmal rotkohl und salat rauf - nochmal ordentlich soße rauf und zwar wieder beide soßen und dann NOCHMAL rotkohl - packt den fetten döner ein, ich brauch keine tüte, er legt 2 Servietten dazu - war so gerührt, ich hab nen € trinkgeld gegeben 😭👍 Vegetarische Döner sind oft dünn und lapprig, nicht dieser. Für manche wäre das allerdings vlt ZU viel Soße gewesen, ist aber natürlich ein Luxusproblem.

Der Döner hat exzellent gemundet. Vorzüglicher Imbissladen.

Bester Mann! Dem Anblick eines guten Freundes, der offensichtlich viel Nahrung benötigt, gab der gute Herr sogleich umsonst eine Packung eiweißreiche Kost. Welch gute Tat! Hier isst es sich gut!

Habe mir dort auf der Durchfahrt was genehmigt, das Fleisch sah wieder sehr nach billigem Hack aus, eher drauf verzichten, was aber leider normal ist auch in Berlin. Ich hatte Hunger und kaufte mir ein Falafel. Die Falafel an sich garnich mal so schlecht. Der Rest verbesserungswürdig, sauce billig, Salat etwas fade : Geschmack ok. Macht satt und gut. Für Notfall ok 👌 PS : wenigstens wird an der Menge nicht gespart 😉

Qualitativ sehr gut und netter Service, insbesondere der Chef

Ich habe dort schon oft Döner gekauft. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden, sowohl mit dem Essen als auch mit dem Chef, der immer super nett und freundlich war. Nun hat er einen Angestellten, der heute anscheinend einen sehr schlechten Tag hatte und dies an mich als Kunde ausgelassen hat.Das geht gar nicht. Ich hatte kurzzeitig überlegt meine Bestellung zu stornieren, habe dies nur nicht getan, weil der Chef immer so nett war. Ich werde vorerst dort leider kein Essen mehr holen und es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmals probieren. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht…schade, dass der Angestellte grundsätzlich einen eher genervten Eindruck macht…
