The Potsdam Grillhaus is located right next to the main train station and is actually in the perfect location to attract all the tourists and commuters who come through there every day. On the other hand, it looks pretty ugly from the outside and the fact that even Kabel 1 came by last year to report how bad it tasted there might put some people off. I was there with my wife this week and at least from the outside the shop doesn't look like much. In summer you can sit outside, which isn't perfect considering the buses and taxis that are there now. In winter you could only sit inside, where it was even more uncomfortable, so we took our things to go. The service was quick and friendly. The hygiene wasn't a complete catastrophe, but I've actually seen cleaner kebab stalls. But the selection and prices were pretty good. They even had Seitan kebab, which I got straight away. My wife had Dürüm with meat. We both had fries with that. There are two meat skewers and on both of them the meat was quite crispy without being dry, which is always a plus for me. My wife also liked it, although the Dürüm could perhaps have been a little better filled. My Seitan kebab tasted pretty good. Sure, you have to like Seitan and on its own it tastes a bit like bread, but as an overall concept with everything on it, it was really quite tasty. The salad was also fresh and well cut. Maybe there was a lot of seitan and a little bit of lettuce in the bread. The whole thing was a bit like the vegetarian equivalent of a kebab with extra meat. The flatbread itself was okay, but about a third of it was extremely dry and tough. I've never had anything like that before. Either it was toasted really badly or stored poorly, I would say. The fries were surprisingly mediocre. I've had better - I've had worse. I don't really like this chip salt, but that's a matter of taste. They were nicely and evenly seasoned. A little more time in the deep fryer probably would have done them some good, as they really weren't quite crispy - even considering that we walked around with them for a few minutes and of course don't expect super fresh and crispy fries at home. At least the oil in which they were fried seemed to be fresh. But the portion was completely utopian. We just ordered fries and didn't say "big" or "small" - we got "huge". So if you want a lot of fries for little money, this is the place for you. In the end I was rather pleasantly surprised. There were a few negative points and it's far from the best kebab shop in Potsdam, but if you're at the train station you can eat here without any problems. Especially if you compare it with Divan Döner in the train station or realize that the gastro in the train station isn't that great anyway, the Potsdam Grillhaus can really be a legitimate option to quickly satisfy your hunger.

Open 24 hours? Closed at Potsdam Central Station, although staff is there. What kind of village is Potsdam? You can't manage to have the kebab shop at the main train station that boasts of being open 24 hours a day. In Berlin, every train station has a shop that is really open 24 hours a day and doesn't just claim it.

Tasty kebab. Good ratio of vegetables and falafel, sauce could have been a little more. In summer you can sit outside here, with both sunny and shady places right next to the main train station, very practical and pleasant. Even if the ambience is somewhat spoiled by the many buses and delivery vans. Really cheap and good quality. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to hygiene.

I got a doner kepab here in the evening and ate it, but now three days later I still have a stomach ache and have literally upset my stomach. It could just be a lack of hygiene, the meat, the salad or the sauce maybe all together in combination. Avoid the store.

Hygiene is so bad you can't imagine it. The food is also so bad that you think they are doing this on purpose. You can't accidentally have such a bad restaurant. If you don't want to worry about your health after eating, I would strongly advise against it.

The kebab I got here was cold and didn't taste fresh. In addition, the meat was of questionable origin and its texture left a lot to be desired. The hygiene also left something to be desired. When I noticed the mistake and wanted to return it, I was insulted in Turkish. My dog ​​didn't even want to eat the meat. In addition, I was not refunded the full amount of money. Very disappointing and unprofessional!

But dear staff. Try to fob off customers FRIENDLY. And not with the words: “Divan kebab you get beer”. Just stay down to earth and friendly. Even towards 20 year olds. My fiancée and I were fobbed off, which I still don't understand to this day. I used to be a regular customer there. And then I'm asked why so many regular customers leave. The molecules in the spray naturally settle on the meat. How could you come up with the idea of ​​doing something like that as an employee?! Considering food and time availability it's absolutely good, but when it comes to service and security it's an absolute mess, an old guy who resembles like the captain of titanic ship(worker) behaves extremely rude and he smokes cigarette inside the restaurant which is an alarming issue with regards to safety of the customers. I'd suggest to opt for a takeaway, rather ruining your day with the rude guy.

It's best to ignore the store. Even one star is too many.

Ich habe mir letztens den Burger für 5€ geholt. Der Burger hat wirklich selbstgemacht frisch und lecker geschmeckt. Dieser Burger lohnt sich zu 100%

Für mich DER Dönerladen in Potsdam. Mega leckeres Essen, gute Getränkeauswahl und freundliches Personal, welches alle Wünsche erfüllt. Preis-Leistung ist hervorragend und die Öffnungszeiten sind natürlich der Lage geschuldet sehr optimal. Komme öfter mal dahin und bin stets zufrieden.

Leckerer Döner mit guten Soßen, Fleisch schön knusprik und lecker. Pommes knusprik und gut gewürtzt. Personal nett und freundlich. Wenn ich in der Nähe bin hole ich mir immer ein.

Gut gefüllt mit Hühnchenfleisch und frisch zubereitet. Alles frisch und macht satt!

Schmeckt gut. Preis ist im Vergleich aber etwas teurer als normal und die Portion ist relativ klein. Natürlich muss man die hohe Miete im Center betrachten. Aber wie gesagt, war lecker.

Das Personal ist freundlich, der Döner okay, Hygiene scheint in dem Laden allerdings ein Fremdwort. Es schaut wirklich aller Sau aus. Empfehlen kann man die Stube somit nicht.

Bitte einmal Pause machen, es lohnt sich.

Qualität etwas unterm Durchschnitt. Und Vorsicht, die Preise stimmen nicht mit den Preistafeln überein!
