Golden Rice Mitte in Berlin

Salad was old and brown!!! Food was cold and tasteless!!! Stomach cramps were inevitable!!! The service was watering flowers and taking orders at the same time!!! Never again!!!

Very delicious food, served very quickly, and everything tasted very fresh. The service was super friendly and particularly attentive. I would definitely recommend it!

A little crowded but very fast service and tasty food. Avoid Apfelschorle, extremely sour. A little on the expensive side, expect to pay at least 20€.

The food is really poor. Instead of hand soap they have dish soap on the toillets to wash the hands. I ask for a bothle of water and they bring me a glass of water and charge me 4,50€ for a glass of water!

Large portions, the grilled duck was excellent. Super soft meat that melts in your mouth. MangoLassi not too sweet but very powerful, it takes away a lot of the starter :-) absolute recommendation!

Average food, big portions but a bit expensive for what it is. Would not recommend flying noodles as they end up being a bit dry and cold, generally the chicken was quite dry. Update: This review was 3 stars before, but they made a claim with google that it must have been false. Personally I'd question the ratings on here

Good food in a cozy restaurant. The service was good, the staff attentive. The starter and main course were served very quickly, only the main course could have been a little warmer (but that could well have been due to the presentation with the "flying noodles"). The taste was great, the coconut soup as a starter was slightly spicy, and the main course was also very tasty. I'd love to come back.

The food was okay, I think it's a bit more expensive than other places.

We (two of us) ordered a colorful variety of sushi, some of the food came very quickly, the other part took almost 40 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty. We are disappointed. We only received a “sorry” and were ignored for the rest of the evening. However, the food was delicious…

The food was delicious, the portion was good too. I had an appetizer. Before I had finished eating them, the plate with the main course was put in front of me. I think that doesn't work at all. You're not in a fast food restaurant. Therefore 1 star deducted. I ordered the main course with chicken. I was expecting breast fillet, but was probably more triggered by the thigh or something similar. Unfortunately that's not my taste. But otherwise it was very tasty. Spicy but not too spicy. I find value for money reasonable.

The sushi lacked freshness, resembling something left out too long or frozen. Other dishes were overwhelmed by sauce, masking any real flavor, likely to compensate for poor ingredients. Had to go to Berlin twice and ate here both times. Once in the evening and once at midday. There was nothing going on in the evening, but the waiter and the kitchen put a lot of effort into it and it was incredibly tasty. Personally, I fell in love with Seitan sushi. The second time there was a lot going on, plus a few renovations. Despite the hectic pace, we were served quickly and the food was again very tasty. The portions are very good, so the rest was taken home and eaten there later -> With the sushi you could tell that it was freshly made in the store, but it still tasted delicious a few hours later.

Surprisingly delicious food. We had a sushi menu for 2 people for 50 euros. It was very tasty and more than enough for 2 people. We also both had a nice cocktail.

Great coconut soup and the place's special sushi.

According to the reviews, this place should be quite good - unfortunately this is anything but a restaurant: tables and chairs have the character of a snack bar. After we received the menu, the big thing happened - we were allowed to record and write down our selection - I've never experienced that before! The employees are 'running' - YES, running through the store. Both the cook and the boss were completely overwhelmed. Some of the food sits abandoned on the counter for a long time. Basically the food was good, unfortunately it didn't quite suit us. Ambience very disappointed. It's a shame - with a little order and a little more staff, there's certainly potential.

It's only a five-minute walk from Naturkunde museum. I really like the avocado lassi inside, which has a strong coco flavor!

We often go there at lunchtime because our canteen doesn't offer as good food as Golden Rice. The food comes quickly and is always delicious and plentiful no matter what you take. My favorite is M18. ;-)

Tasteless fake Asia. This is not the first time I have encountered bad food in Berlin. This means that local people eat it and think it’s good, and the Asians who cook it are deceiving the Europeans, because at home they would have an empty restaurant with such a level of cuisine

The sushi here is amazing and at a great price. It's really filling and they don’t skimp on the fish. The only problem is that the bees kept attacking us, but that isn't really a restaurant issue.

Great recommendation, tastes very good, lunch menu is very variable from sushi menu to real dishes with rice or noodles from 10 euros. In the evening you can meet friends in the beautiful atmosphere inside the restaurant and have a good meal. Always served very nicely. The staff is always friendly.

The sushi menu 3 was very tasty and very filling in combination with good edamame. A dish was forgotten, but it was delivered immediately after request, but I can ignore that because of the excellent food. All in all a very good and recommended restaurant. Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante prendendo dei noodles che erano freddi (non tiepidi) conditi in una salsa agli arachidi con 4/5 pezzetti di pollo fritti buttati di lato, il sushi non era buono e i rotoli si aprivano da soli e il riso era tutto appallottolato. Abbiamo preso anche una brodo con carne ma era insapore. Per quello che costa, non poco, consiglio un ristorante di sushi serio.

Das Golden Rice ist ein sehr gutes Restaurant .Hier bekommt man sehr gute Qualität serviert und das zu einem vernünftigen Preis.

Place is nice, staff is friendly, the location is very big inside. Vietnamese iced coffees were amazing. Summer rolls were fresh and gyoza was good. Portions were good size. You can sit outside. Payment with card.

Not sure what's going on with the staff. The lady who has worked her for many years, so much freaking attitude. I've been coming to this restaurant for years. Seriously, you want to give attitude for a customer of 8 years? For what? Any way, it is the last time I come here.

Waiter was more interested in his phone than service. Half of the order for our table arrived so we couldn't enjoy the meal all together. After 20mn we went to ask what was the problem and if we could get the rest of the food and he didn't say a word and went tot the kitchen to bring the plates that had been seating there and were now cold. The food was at most average and not cheap for what it was.

Good food at a reasonable price

The most ridiculous wait for food I’ve had and the restaurant was not very busy. The food was just ok when it got there. Each person in our party ate alone as it took 20 minutes for each of our entrees to arrive, individually. The servers did not seem to think this was a big deal until they brought the last item -a simple avocado role for the 9 year old who was by then quite hungry and grumpy. We were there for two hours and did not enjoy the experience.

Had dinner there on a Friday evening. It wasn't too busy and you were served straight away. Ordered a few dishes, all of which the nice waitress had memorized and didn't write anything down (about 10 dishes). At first we were skeptical as to whether everything we ordered would arrive. After a short wait, the dishes arrived and everything ordered was there. The food was very tasty and the fish was of good quality. All in all, highly recommended and worth the experience.

We went to Golden Rice two evenings in a row because the food is simply first class. Rarely have I had such good duck. The sushi was fresh and simply delicious. The employees are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys eating sushi.

We bought an itakate that had a little bit of everything, it was super fresh, very delicious and the cost was actually quite acceptable.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We went to eat there because it was close to the hotel and when they served our food, a cockroach came out of the napkin. On top of that, they didn't even offer us an apology, and the worst part was that when they brought the bill, they asked for a tip. 🤮🤢
