Great atmosphere - great bands - good food and first-class Göggele. Pilsbar with GOGI and team

Unfortunately, our waiter was very rude and not friendly (October 9th), but the food was very good and the drinks were as ordered. Unfortunately, towards the late hour the waiter stopped coming and you had to get the drinks yourself from the bar. Overall, a rather unsatisfactory experience.

I'm slowly becoming a regular customer now. Spring Festival and Oktoberfest. I like it every time. Music is always great and the mood is topper... :)

Great atmosphere as always... simply one of the best marquees at the Cannstatter Volksfest

Always nice to go there for OktoberFest Especially the one that follows in the fairground, it's always fun after a few liters! I recommend for those who have never been there, be careful, hold on tight!

On the last Wasen day we were in the Göckelesmaier festival tent with colleagues (who work in the catering industry). At 2 p.m. the mood was already great - both among the guests and the staff assigned to our station. Since our table was reserved from 5 p.m., we looked for a free, unreserved table. We found one and were even told by the waitress that we were welcome to sit at her station. But when we came to the table with the drinks we had already paid for, she suddenly didn't like it anymore. She first complained to us that this was a table with service and why we were now arriving with drinks. I explained to her again that we had to move around and that we already had drinks. "Then just stay at your table!" Huh?! We left it like that, but from that point on she had us in her sights and was constantly complaining. She was just looking for a reason to have us thrown out, even though we were sitting together in a relaxed atmosphere among colleagues. When one of us lit a cigarette, she came running to us like a madwoman and said that there were still people around us. There is smoking throughout the Wasenzelt, but WE are the problem now. We asked those sitting next to us if they had anything against it, but they just waved it off. Because that was the umpteenth harassment from the waitress, we finally got fed up and told her in “good German” that she should leave us alone. She then ran to security. After a long discussion with her and the security, we were “allowed” to sit down again. We even apologized to her - even if we don't know exactly why. We just wanted to make peace. But apparently not you. The end of the story was: Suddenly our table was reserved from 5 p.m. and we had to vacate it. We then went to the alpine hut and had a great evening.

Actually a good tent, but security is completely aggressive and unfriendly.

Worst tent on the island. We had reserved (all 18/19 years old) and got in at the front without any problems. Yes, we had forgotten our IDs but you can see that you are 18? After we had ordered beer and it arrived, security came and said that everyone had ID cards in a very rude manner. Since no one had them with him, he simply chased us out. doesn't really work at all. And we were allowed to drink more of the beer. Better not go here...

Had a nice event on the Wasen. Beer tasty and cold. Price reasonable. I found the prices for the food a bit too high. Great waiter for our table.

Mood is ok, unfortunately Wulle beer... Service totally unfriendly and every order is of course extra so that more service money can be collected.. Next time different tent...

Traveled especially from Hesse for the party band oh lala. Great atmosphere in the tent. Come back next year. Thank you, oh lala and Göckelesmaier for the great weekend.

Mega party at Göckelesmaier...food, drink, service, band...everything was perfect

I've never eaten anything like that before. We were in the tent at 2:30 p.m. and were looking forward to half a chicken. We got a completely dried out, mummy-like half chicken, and despite exchanging it, the second one wasn't any better. Never again, the half canary for the proud price of 14.90. Any questions?

The service behaves rudely - you don't get what you order!!

We felt very comfortable again in the Göckelesmaier on October 5th, 2024. From the reservation to the service in the tent, everything was perfect and very professional. Eugen, our service man in the tent, was on point and very attentive. The relaxed and peaceful atmosphere in the tent is pleasant. No stress, no arguments - a nice celebration together. We are already looking forward to next year!

The service deducts you, you pay €15 and you don't get a measurement. That doesn't work at all! No recommendation!

Every year I come just for this delicious Göckele BUT this year it's really bad! I returned it and had it replaced... then came an even worse one! It was old and small and probably put in the deep fryer after grilling (the day before?). For €15 it was nothing. Really nothing. And now 6 hours later I feel sick 🤢

An excellent marquee to celebrate Oktoberfest in style

Craziness!!!! Great atmosphere, great music, friendly staff, very good food and delicious beers. The only disadvantage was that the seats were so cramped that four adult men would have problems if one of them was a bit stronger. And you should make sure that the beers are full. They were often only three quarters full and the rest was foam. It's a shame given the prices and it's a shame that it has to be mentioned. Waiters were very competent and correct.!!!!!

Actually, I can't complain because it's your own fault if you go there, but what's being ripped off on the Wasn is really a disgrace. The only thing you can do is stop going. Starting with tokens that are worth exactly 1.10 less than a measure at exorbitant prices of 14.30 via mini chicken. But the shot was what is referred to here as a roll. You can really see how little decency and demands the operator has when it comes to the quality of his food here. Shame on you, this usury should be taxed at 95 percent.

Nice tent. Enjoy your meal. Toilets are clean. Unfortunately, not only our food and drinks were booked on our table. Thank God we were attentive when paying... as it happens, that's not always the case.

The event had a great atmosphere and the tent was beautifully designed. The atmosphere among the guests was great, which actually made the evening very pleasant. Unfortunately, the positive impression was marred by the behavior of the security. The staff were rude and behaved unprofessionally, which dampened some of the fun of the evening. It's a shame that an otherwise successful evening was negatively affected by poor service.

The worst “half rooster” I’ve ever had. I think the animal was on the grill longer than it had lived before. 5 very disappointed faces then moved on. Actually the 1 star is still too much.

Had a great time at Oktoberfest. Friendly people out to have some fun. Getting a taxi afterwards can prove difficult!

ACDC concert. Way too loud. A beer 0.4 €7 is a disgrace given the price of the ticket. The unscrupulousness never ends. Even in the Middle Ages people were imprisoned for usury.

Olympic beer awards, but what the heck.

The concept with the brands and the prices is just confusing for every guest, especially after drinking beer. This makes me suspect that this is intentional. Unfortunately, this is the case in every tent. It is also very unfortunate that the stamps are only valid for one day. Most of the food was okay, nothing special. Vegan cuisine was very good! The tent was incredibly hot, perhaps a small air conditioner would be the solution. The band was good.

I've tried now all tents for Frühlingsfest as well as Wasn and can say that Göckelsmaier is one of the worst. The service was slow (sometimes we were actively looking for our waiter but he was nowhere to be found for 30min), the food was mediocre at best, and the music stopped often. Especially the last part was annoying. I understand that the band needs breaks, but then at least play some playlist. There was a DJ but he rather played no music (or so silent that we didn't hear it). We did not have any issues with the security as described in some other reviews. The event was peaceful that day. The reason why this is a 1star is that in the end they ran out of water and refused to give us tab water. You simply can not do this to ppl who drank 4l of beer. I can not recommend book there, especially as the other tents are better for roughly the same price.

Great ambience and super nice service

Great mood. Fast service. Prices were a bit high but the mask jugs were mostly well poured and the food tasted good too.

No matter whether it's a spring festival or a folk festival. You are my first choice. Good chicken and good beer.

There's always a lot going on in this marquee. The Göckele and the beer 🍺 also taste very good here. The prices are adjusted to the city's stand fees.

I ordered a chicken each from Göckelesmaier with three friends. Simply put, it was the worst chicken I and the others have ever eaten. It was probably warmed up in the deep fryer. The oil was floating in my plate. It was very hot and the waitress just said we were eating here too. And now for the gentlemen reviewers from Goggle: The Stuttgart Folk Festival is an annual folk festival at the same location. That's why you can't simply delete my rating. It was the worst chicken I've ever eaten.

Was there in the morning on the last day of the festival. Fantastic if you don't really like full sound and trouble. To my surprise, the food and service were very good, as the crew had done a lot in the previous weeks. My personal highlight was the dessert (Kaiserschmarren), immediately followed by the Wulle-Festbier. This year I found this to be a very special success. I'll be back, see you next year 👍🏻!

One of the best Fest tents! But if you are able, don't get a center table, but one of the side spaces tables. You'll get a private toilet area with dedicated service.

Waren mit der Firma dort, schön zu feiern vor allem wenn andere bezahlen. Kann sich ein normaler Mensch nicht leisten.

Schönes Zelt mit viel Stimmung und netten Bedienungen

Sehr gutes Essen, Superservice. Und für Wasenverhältnisse durchaus angemessene Preise.

Bier, Essen, Bedienung super, tanzender Hünchenhut kostete weniger als auf der Herstellerseite. Mittagstisch auch richtig lecker. Super Stimmung, der DJ hat seine Songs nicht so gut rüber gebracht wie die Grumis.

Ein typisches Oktoberfest Festzelt mit netter Bedienung

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, wir waren in der Karls Höhe, die Musik war gut aber durch kurze Unterbrechungen wo der Sänger versucht hat mit dem Publikum zu kommunizieren ist die Stimmung immer etwas gedrückt worden. Auch fanden die Pausen von der Musik etwas zu lang. Die Pateystimmung war etwas getrübt dadurch. Das Essen war übrigens auch sehr lecker und wir hatten allem in allem einen schönen Vormittag.

Sehr schönes Zelt. Toiletten sehr sauber. Personal ist auf Zack.🍻. Gute Stimmung im Zelt und das Mittags um 14.00 Uhr. Essen top und schnell am Tisch.

Alles gut kann man hin kommen die göckel sind super

Besuch auf den Pferdemarkt in Bietigheim. Das Essen und das Bier haben gut geschmeckt. Leider waren die Krüge nicht bis zum Sollmaß von einem Liter gefüllt. Die Bedienung war sehr langsam und haben am Anfang über 30min auf dem ersten Glas gewartet. Die gute Stimmung wurde eindeutig vom Zigarettenrauch getrübt.

Die Bedienungen sind unfreundlich und sehr aufs Trinkgeld versessen. Da man aber bereits fast 14 Euro für einen Liter Bier bezahlt (Gewinnmarge sicher jenseits der 80%), sehe ich es ehrlich gesagt nicht ein, auch noch Unmengen an Trinkgeld zu verschenken! Die Musik war auch nicht besonders gut, das Schlagzeug hat derart übersteuert dass man kaum noch etwas gehört hat, und die Auswahl der Lieder ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Entsprechend war auch die Stimmung im Zelt eher mau.

Maientag in Göppingen 2023 leckere Speisen super freundlicher Kellner. Dazu das Beste Bier 🍺 im Landkreis Göppingen. Kaiser Brauerei Geislingen!

Es war einfach zu wenig Personal wenn man 1 Stunde fürs Essen anstehen muss oder nicht genug organisiert

Großes Festzelt mit tollem stimmungsvollen Festbetrieb, meistens sehr gut besucht. Sehr leckere Hähnchen, Schweinshaxe war gut, Pommes ok, Bier sehr gut. Alles zusammen passt ganz gut!

Immer wieder gerne zur Wasenzeit! Ob Frühlings oder Volksfest! Super Musik auf der Bühne, flinke Bedienung und leckere Göckele :) Die Gäste sind kultiviert, keine Betrunkenen die Randalieren

Leider wird die tolle Stimmung und Partylaune getrübt vom Servicepersonal die immer wieder versuchen doch über den Tisch zu ziehen. Ist mir von vier Besuchen leider drei mal passiert. Da sinkt die Stimmung leider sofort und man fühlt sich hintergangen

Hähnchen lecker, Bier könnte frischer sein. Beim Hefe merkt man, dass es schon länger stand, als die Stoßzeit noch nicht war.
