Chicken burger very disappointing! I imagined something different for this price. Sauce not tasty either!

Had dinner there before the musical. The service was super friendly. We had made a reservation, what to do, and were shown to the table. The food came very quickly and was delicious. Price/performance for the location is completely okay. The cocktails are fresh and delicious.

The food is a matter of taste, what one person loves is what the other person likes. The prices are very fair, not cheap but OK. Normal range. I would give it 7 🫶 for the staff. I have NEVER experienced so much warmth in all these years.

Unfortunately a bad choice! Antipasti platter was still tolerable, but the one from the package in the discount store can certainly do more. Olives not edible because drowned in brine. The tiny salad for €6.90 with dried out cucumber slices as thick as car rims was bland and with dressing from the package or something. You shouldn't be allowed to call what they spend there Pinsa, there are better ones at every gas station. Cheese noodles? Well, who is smart enough to order cheese spaetzle in a location like this... my tip, don't do it!

The place is very practical for dinner before going to a musical. It has tables outside to enjoy in case the weather is good. The meat was delicious. The negative is that it is only possible to pay with cash, but there is an ATM right there.

Very nice restaurant in the Palladium area. Unfortunately it was generally very empty so it almost seemed dreary. The food prices are not overpriced and the staff is very friendly.

I can only agree with all the very good reviews. We had a delicious meal there before the musical. Absolute recommendation and above all a big compliment to the service!

It was always our favorite restaurant to visit after going to the movies. Unfortunately, today was probably the last time. The first thing you noticed was a completely new “team”. The owner may also have changed, which would explain the deterioration in service and food. The waiters were very inattentive, even though the restaurant was hardly busy at that time. We had 3 different dishes, one of which was inedible. The bread used for the bruschetta was ancient!!! It was so hard you could hardly bite it off, given the taste. The tomato topping also tasted subpar. Hardly seasoned, but “killed” by thyme. When we complained, it was said that the bread was freshly baked and was only so hard because it had been in the oven for too long. This reaction to a food that was demonstrably old is completely inappropriate and highly unprofessional. As a chef, sending something like that out of the kitchen really leaves you speechless. The second dish was baked Maultaschen, which was far from good. All in all, you no longer have the feeling that good quality and service are valued here

Great team, great food. Always my pleasure. Despite a last-minute request, we were able to get a place, very friendly staff and very good food. Absolute recommendation from us, it was really fun and we would like to come back when we come to Stuttgart again.

The Balthazar, run by Theo and his brother, deserves more than the possible 5 stars. Super fast service, very nice staff and good food, plus various draft beers and delicious cocktails, what more could you want. We would be happy to come back and can only warmly recommend you. Thank you for a (repeatedly) nice introduction to a musical experience. It's great that gastronomy can still function in exactly the same way.

Food was good, even better if certain details were improved. Preheat plates, don't feel bruschetta straight from the fridge to the table,.... . Different waiters in sweatpants, that's not possible.

Be careful, prices have increased! The prices listed online are no longer current. I had Maultaschen and was quite disappointed. Not bad in terms of taste, but 3 pieces with a little tomato sauce and cheese for 15 euros! I didn't get the impression that they were homemade. The pinsa seems fine. However, the service was very good and the food came relatively quickly.

We were looking for somewhere where we could eat something before the musical, in this building complex where the musical theater is. From the car we wanted to make a reservation at Balthazar, but they said they were already full but we should stop by anyway. And after the food looked great, we joined the waiting line. Everything here goes super quickly and is well organized, so we got a table in 10 minutes. Tickets were needed immediately, the service was very quick, always there, friendly, and the food also came very quickly. The prices are a bit high, but since the food is good and people wait in line, I think they are totally reasonable. I had a salad with chicken strips and my husband had a burger with fries. But every other food I saw looked great too. We'll come back the next time we see a musical, but then with a reservation.

We would like to come again! The service was great and the food was really delicious 😋!! Never seen such clean wine glasses, great and thank you for that too!!

The menu mentioned potato pancakes, but what was served was hash browns. Nevertheless, the salad tasted good.

My son and I ate here before the musical on March 16, 2024. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. My son ordered a tarte flambée that came relatively quickly and tasted good. I ordered the Crispy Chicken salad for 17 euros.. The salad was served in an oval bowl. Very difficult to eat from this bowl. The salad consisted of lettuce leaves about 4-5 palms in size, 2 slices of tomatoes, 3 cucumber slices, 2 tablespoons of carrot strips, yogurt sauce and the crispy chicken. Taste , Oh well.. But for 17 euros it's an absolute joke... rip off!! The waiter said that many guests had already complained to him about it...but unfortunately Apparently nothing has changed. It's a shame. I can't judge the other dishes because I haven't eaten them. As a guest and restaurateur, I would definitely advise against the crispy chicken. 2 stars because the waiter was really friendly and the tarte flambée tasted delicious.

Super nice service Great food And I can only recommend a really great bistro

We were there for the second time before seeing a musical. Waiting time without reservation depending on capacity. Yesterday it went quickly (around 10-15 minutes), last time around half an hour. Both times the reception and service - despite the full house - was incredibly prompt and super friendly! Orders are taken quickly and served just as quickly. The food is probably not for demanding "star cuisine palates" ;), but it is really very tasty and fresh, and the portions are also large enough. The tables and the restaurant are clean. In terms of price for Stuttgart and the location, the Balthazar is at an acceptable level. We'll definitely come back :)

What should be highlighted is the really nice and quick, trained service (blonde woman). The food is perfectly fine, but nothing special. The ambience is not that great, you sit somehow too openly in the passage area.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered a burger and I think it was the worst meat I've ever had in a burger. It was way too thick and not juicy at all. I then left the meat lying around, it was really unappetizing. A pity.

Had dinner before going to the musical. It's best to reserve in advance as it gets very busy shortly before the event. Food good, came very quickly after ordering. Service very nice. Very noisy as the dining area is open to the rest of the building. Price-performance okay.

A great meal with top service. Everything worked out super quickly. The burgers were a hit... a hot burger on the long walk... crazy, I take my hat off. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back. There are also times when you don't go to the theater. At the next table they told us there were great cocktails too.

We had dinner at Balthazar on the occasion of our musical visit to the ApolloStageTheater. Admittedly, we expected something different due to the “brand presence” on the Internet - but that was our mistake and didn't put a dent in our evening... The service staff was friendly, drinks and food were delicious, prices were okay. The ambience isn't top-notch, but it doesn't bother you at all. Overall, highly recommended and I would eat there again at any time if we were there!

It looks a bit like a canteen. The food can be prepared much better. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Unfortunately we had to return the chocolate soufflé with a liquid core. It arrived on the table after a minute because it was warmed up in the microwave and there was no trace of the liquid core. The owner and her son were super rude and didn't want to see it. I was insulted that I come from a village that is so normal here in Stuttgart and where I come from that it should be liquid. After an eternity of discussion I received the money €7.50 for the dessert in 10ct coins and 50ct was missing. Super rude and cheeky.

Food came very quickly and was OK. The staff, however, was very rude after a small tip and had a complete change of mood.

Der Cheseburger hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Salat, Tomate, Gurke sowie Zwiebeln wurden separat auf dem Teller serviert. Somit hat jeder selbst die Gelegenheit seinen Burger nach seinen Wünschen zu belegen.

Waren am 2.1. vor dem Musical essen und können leider nur Durchschnittliches berichten. Die Bruschetta waren kalt, Essen im vor den Getränke und nicht gleichzeitig. Das ist mit Abstand das schnellste Restaurant, welches ich je erlebt habe: Nach wenigen Minuten standen die Essen auf dem Tisch! Auch als Laufkunde ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen und die Portionen sind absolut ok - wir hatten Texasburger und Hähnchenschnitzel; jeweils mit Fries und Beilagensalat. Wenn wir das nächste Mal ins Musical gehen, essen wir hier bestimmt wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen und eine gute Auswahl. Auch die Cocktails waren sehr gut. Preise waren vollkommen in Ordnung und nicht überteuert. Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider war es etwas frisch beim sitzen und es hat gezogen....ansonsten war man gut gesessen.

Waren da mit meine Familien das Musical Tarzan anschauen und davor da essen ..waren alle sehr zufrieden. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service Bombe.Die nette Frau die uns bedient hat war schnell und hilfsbereit.mann sollte am besten der Tisch reservieren geht online sehr gut und schnell. Bein nächste Musical werden wir aufgeben Fall wieder kommen .Ich kann das nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und wahnsinnig schnell am Tisch. Der Service auf Zack und freundlich. Nur zwei Themen haben mich echt gestört: ich hatte online reserviert und in die Bemerkungen geschrieben, dass ich bitte einen Tisch am Rand zum Stillen mit Platz für einen Kinderwagen möchte. Die Bemerkungen hat nur wohl leider niemand gelesen und waren in der Mitte. Nachdem andere Gäste gezahlt hatten, konnten wir jedoch problemlos wechseln. Der Lappen, mit welchem dann schnell der Tisch abgewischt wurde, hatte leider sehr unappetitlich gerochen. Sonst aber alles top.

Der Service ist insgesamt gut aber die ältere blonde weibliche Bedienung ist leider sehr unfreundlich..

Waren gestern in der Herr der Ringe Trilogie. In der zweiten Pause musste es schnell gehen. Pinsa vegetarisch und Thunfisch war unsere Wahl. Lecker war's und kam pronto pronto. Dann noch 10% Kino Rabatt, Schwabenherz was willst Du mehr...

Online Reservierung hat super geklappt, man kann am Fenster sitzen und sieht auf der anderen Straßenseite das Apollo Theater, gut geeignet für ein Essen vor und einen Drink nach dem Musical, umfangreiche Speisekarte, Essen war sehr gut, Service schnell, freundlich und lustig(Nr. 8 Sarah), Preise ok, gerne wieder.👍🏼

Wir sind gestern nach der Veranstaltung von Tina noch eine Kleinigkeit essen gegangen. Sind super freundlich von Simone empfangen worden, die einfach die Perle von der Location ist. Essen und Trinken war super

Das Burgerpattie ist zu stark, dadurch zu trocken und nicht saftig. Preislich aber sehr teuer. Würde ich nicht mehr bestellen.

Zum ersten Mal im Balthazar, und soweit zufrieden. Service freundlich, nett und sehr flott. Speisen waren zum Teil schneller als die Getränke da. Die Speisen sind Standard und nichts besonderes. Alles ist auf schnell, einfach und gut konzipiert. Muss halt alles schnell vor dem Musical gehen 😊 Dementsprechend alles gut, und um verpflegt zu werden, komplett in Ordnung. Die Cocktails sind spitze 😎

Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant, die Lage direkt am Stage Operettenhaus ist super. Das Essen war gut, wenn auch nicht perfekt. Die Pommes hätten noch ein paar Minuten brauchen können schmecken knusprig einfach besser. Und das Besteck am Tisch hatte viele Wasserflecken, hätte eigentlich vorher poliert werden sollen. Vielleicht sollte man mal den Klarspüler wechseln oder die Dosierung verändern.

Während es der Dame im EG an der Bar zuviel war, einen Cocktail von oben zu holen, gingen wird lieber gleich noch oben. Die Jungs hatten es im Griff, da passte Service und Freundlichkeit. Essen gut, es lädt zum Wiederkommen ein!

Mit guter Laune rein gegangen, mit schlechter Laune raus gegangen. Wir waren mit mehreren Kindern nach dem Kino im Restaurant. Bestellung: Kellner war erst freundlich und bemüht, hat nachgefragt ob wir noch etwas brauch um es den Kindern leichter zu machen. Wir hatten aber schon das Gefühl es wurde nicht richtig zugehört. Das Essen kam überraschend schnell. Sehr gut. Wir bekamen aber leider ein Getränk zu viel, und ein Bier was nicht bestellt wurde an den Tisch gebracht. Nach hin und her diskutieren hat es das Getränk nicht berechnet. "Weggeworfen wird es so oder so" war die Aussage. Gut reagiert. Als alle Essen ausgeteilt waren haben wir festgestellt dass noch ein Essen fehlt. D.h alle Kinder essen bis auf eins.. erst beim dritten nachfragen und der Aussage "es kommt gleich" würde erst ins System geschaut. Siehe da, das Essen würde gar nicht aufgenommen. Während wir auf das letzte Essen gewartet haben beobachteten wir, dass auch an den anderen Tischen entweder Dinge vergessen wurden oder an falsche Tische gebracht wurden. Als die Kinder und wir satt waren, das Essen war gut, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend und alle damit sehr zufrieden, baten wir um Verpackungen und die Rechnung damit wir die Reste nicht wegwerfen müssen. Meine Frau ist mit den Kindern schonmal los, da diese ungeduldig wurden. Nachdem er mehrfach an uns vorbei lief ohne uns zu beachten habe ich bei einem Kollegen nachgefragt, der wiederum die Verpackungen einem anderen Kollegen brachte. Der hat paar Tische weiter die Verpackungen abgelegt, eine Bestellung aufgenommen und liegen lassen. Also habe ich sie mir selbst geholt und solange das Essen eingepackt während ich auf die Rechnung warte. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten und der Bitte endlich zahlen zu dürfen würde mir der Betrag genannt und ins EC gerät eingetippt. Ohne vorher eine Rechnung gesehen zu haben, welche ich darauf hin verlangt habe bevor ich zahle. Siehe da auf der Rechnung war das nicht bestellte Bier gebucht. Fairer weise muss man sagen er hat mir den Betrag direkt Bar ausbezahlt und auf die Gesamtsumme einen Rabatt gegeben. Was zeigt, dass er um Wiedergutmachung bemüht war. Mein vor Ort Feedback: "Das Essen war super aber den Service müsst ihr noch verbessern." Auf nachfragen weshalb er die Rechnung und die Verpackungen denn nicht vorbeigebracht habe kam die Ausrede: "Wenn sie das bei meinem Kollegen bestellen (was wir ursprünglich nicht hatten) bekomme ich das nicht mit" Die abschließende Frage: "Sind sie zufrieden?" Hat mir zum Schluss gezeigt, dass nicht viel verstanden wurde. Die Organisation der Tische und die Zuordnung der Bestellung sollte definitiv optimiert werden. Wenn man sich Dinge nicht merken kann hilft Aufschreiben. Ich kann nicht für das ganze Restaurant sprechen aber die Tische in unserer Ecke wurde sehr chaotisch bedient.

Langsamer Service, leicht überteuert und akzeptiert nur Bargeld 🙄 Wir wollten vor der Musical-Vorstellung an dem kleinen Thekenrondell im Foyer vor dem Palladium-Theater noch was trinken. Auf den Cappuccino meines Mannes musste ich ziemlich lange warten, da es hinter der Theke recht unkoordiniert zuging. Über 4€ für meine kleine Limonade fand ich ebenfalls etwas zu teuer. Als ich dann alles mit Karte bezahlen wollte wurde mir gesagt es ginge nur bar, das empfinde ich als äußerst ärgerlich, im Jahr 2023 sollte Kartenzahlung eigentlich Standard sein.

Wir waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Die Preise sind allerdings ein klein wenig höher, dennoch alles bestens!

Wir waren gestern im Tina Musical und wollten davor was essen. Im Gastgarten bekamen wir einen Tisch. Super freundlicher Empfang und auch schön zum sitzen. Aus Personalmangel, darf man seine Bestellung innen abgeben und bekommt die Getränke gleich mit und bezahlt auch da sofort. Alles sehr nett und ohne Probleme. Die Speisen kamen rasch und waren ansprechend präsentiert und vor allem sehr lecker und machten uns satt. Da kommen wir gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu 9. und noch 1 Stunde bis zum Beginn des Musicals. Vor dem Restaurant hieß es warten bis ein Mitarbeiter die Plätze zuweist. Die Aussage des Mitarbeiters „Das klappt“ hat sich bewahrheitet. Wir hatten Nachbartische, das Essen kam prompt und war lecker.

Restaurant im Palladium, Biergarten direkt davor...gute Speisen und Getränkeauswahl. Derzeit niemand der die Bestellung aufnimmt, man bestellt drinnen, kann nur bar bezahlen und nimmt die Getränke gleich mit. Das Essen wird am Platz serviert und die Gläser und Flaschen muss man zurück bringen um 1€ Pfand pro Glas zurück zu erhalten. Da alle sehr nett und bemüht waren, dieses Konzept zu verstehen und zu entschuldigen war es für uns kein Problem...auch hat es gut geschmeckt sodass wir 2x im Biergarten zu Abend gegessen haben. Man kann für die Pause vom Musical auch einen Tisch reservieren und Getränke vorbestellen...das haben wir ohne Aufpreis gerne genutzt!
