Ein nettes und gemütliches Restaurant mit gutem Essen und freundlichem, zuvorkommendem Personal. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis während meiner Reise durch Deutschland 🇩🇪.

Das Essen im Restaurant Darband war wirklich ausgezeichnet,frisch und lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Ausstattung und Atmosphäre sind wunderschön gestaltet und spiegeln die iranische Kultur auf eine sehr angenehme Weise wider. Alles war rundum stimmig: gemütlich, fein und einladend. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Ganz Mies! Portion ist verarsche! Ich habe einen Döner Teller mit Pommes (ohne Salat) bestellt. Auf der Karte steht klar „Pommes oder Bulgur“. Trotzdem bekam ich Pommes und Bulgur – zusätzlich sogar Tomaten und Peperoni, die ich nicht bestellt hatte, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen ist. Das Fleisch war extrem trocken und die Portion insgesamt enttäuschend für den Preis. Bei der Reklamation musste ich mit mehreren Mitarbeitern und dem Chef diskutieren. Mir wurde erklärt, das sei „normal“, und selbst wenn ich nur Pommes gewählt hätte, hätte ich nicht mehr Pommes bekommen. Auf meine Beschwerde wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Am Ende musste ich trotz Fehlbestellung den vollen Preis bezahlen. Für mich absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

Personal sehr freundlich. Das Fleisch ist ungewürzt und trocken. Reis ist geschmacklos. Der Kubideh ist sein Preis nicht wert. Das war das schlechteste kubideh was ich je gegessen habe.

Ein wunderschöner Ort der mich begeistert hat. Der Besitzer ist unheimlich gastfreundlich. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Wichtig zu wissen: nur Barzahlung möglich oder per Paypal.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service freundlich. Den Ayran kann ich nur empfehlen.

Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hat einen positiven ersten Eindruck hinterlassen. Auch die Parkplatzsituation war entspannt – es gab ausreichend freie Plätze. Leider konnte das Essen nicht überzeugen. Ich habe Koobideh bestellt, aber das Fleisch war geschmacklos und von schlechter Qualität. Es wirkte wie reines Rindfleisch ohne Lammanteil. Für den Preis war das Gericht definitiv nicht angemessen. Zudem war die Speisekarte unvollständig und enthielt teilweise falsche Angaben.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not good. The meat used for the kebab was wrong! And the quality of the rice was also sadly unsatisfactory.

The food was excellent; my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope you try it too. I'm a real foodie, so don't worry—I tried the Joojeh Kebab, Kebab Koobideh, and Mahicheh, and it was outstanding. Plus, they were very friendly and accommodating.

Great food, a pleasant conversation with one of the owners, and a truly Iranian atmosphere. Even though it's in shipping containers, it's definitely recommended.

It’s small and cozy. One container is kitchen and the other is the restaurant. There ia also an open area. I just looked on Google Maps, and give it a try without a reservation. My expactation was better but as a Turkish guy who likes to taste different things, this was not for me. Maybe I will try something more familiar, also this was my first time in a Persian Restaurant, maybe it’s bot my job to judge the flavour and taste but it didn’t give me wow effect. The stuff was friendly, the portion was big. It really fulfills. In the end, I think the prices are a liitle bit too much. I could easily find a good Adana Kebap for 23 Euros, and here it’s 30 Euro (Kebab Barg). I tried Khoreshte Gheyme Bademjan. The dressing on the salad was one of the ordinary salad dressings you can find in grocery stores. I don't think it belongs to Iranian cuisine. Normally I would give 4 stars, but I deducted 1 star because they don't accept cards. It's 2025, I don't want to carry cash all the time. I don't even carry a card, most of the time I pay with a smart watch and sometimes with my phone. anyway, if I'm not mistaken, from 2027 everyone will have to offer card payment. In the end, maybe I will try the others too. You need to come and try yourself. Don’t forget to bring some cash

Disappointing Experience I was truly disappointed with my visit. The Ghormeh Sabzi and Gheimeh tasted like they came straight from a can, lacking that fresh, authentic flavor. The Doogh also didn't taste homemade, but rather like it came straight from a bottle. The ambiance was more reminiscent of a snack bar, while the prices were in line with those of a fancy restaurant. The service was also, unfortunately, unprofessional.

Ordered and nothing delivered. No one answers the phone either.

A gem in the backyard. Not easy to find, but wonderfully authentic Persian food. Very friendly service and a vibrant atmosphere. We felt very comfortable.

Food, atmosphere and service are ten out of ten. Especially the new menu which has added sandwiches. I definitely recommend the Bandari and Falafel with the taste of Iranian sandwiches.

I recently visited this Persian restaurant and was completely impressed! As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a warm, hospitable atmosphere. The decor is very authentic, making you feel at home immediately. The food was simply outstanding. The flavors were wonderfully balanced—you can taste the fresh ingredients and the attention to detail. The portions were also generous, and the value for money was absolutely fair. The staff was attentive and very friendly. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience Persian cuisine or simply enjoy an enjoyable evening. I will definitely be back!

Great restaurant, great staff. We arrived very spontaneously and by chance. Friends who live in Stuttgart suggested another restaurant, but we decided to go there ourselves (we're not locals). The atmosphere is truly oriental, artistic, and beautifully designed. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the food is perfect to the max. Thank you so much for everything.

A disappointment; where do the excellent reviews come from? No restaurant atmosphere, a container with a chaotic outbuilding, it seemed dingy. Menus without prices, no bill. Definitely not recommended.

We became aware of this "restaurant" through the positive Google reviews (4.8*). Based on our own experience in "Darband," we can't understand these reviews at all and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!! This container and the attached carport could be described as a snack bar, but not a restaurant. The entire interior had the feel of a flea market, lacking in style or concept. The service staff was incompetent and out of place. The food itself was okay, but not worth a visit. Unfortunately, there was also a laminated menu with no prices listed, which surprised us quite a bit, as this isn't permitted in Germany. The total amount was calculated using a calculator, and there was no receipt anyway. Since we were invited to this dinner, we politely refrained from criticizing it on the spot. We still haven't gotten over our visit there and would never have thought that this place was licensed as a restaurant in Germany :(:(:(

Delicious food and super friendly people! I ordered takeout, and while I waited, I was treated to a traditional tea on the house. The place was incredibly hospitable. The space, while rustic, was lovingly decorated with many accessories from my hometown. It felt like a mini-vacation for my mind, especially with the background music. The food wasn't as good as Persian food usually is, not very fresh. The card had no price information. We only received an invoice after asking, prices were expensive for the service.

Restaurant is located in industrial park and is built in a container. The menu only had limited number of items from the main course and prices were not mentioned on the menu. We got one vegetarian dish and chicken dish, even though the quantity was OK, but there was no flavor in the food and in my opinion, the food was very expensive considering the atmosphere of the Restaurant. We were charged a random amount at the end and had to ask to get the bill so we could see the actual prices and both the dishes were billed for €20 which did not make sense. You could definitely try it once but we for sure will not return.

First of all, thank you for the great service. Very friendly and great service, which is what everyone wants. Food was also very tasty. They did everything really well. Very nice Iranian style decoration. You feel warmly invited but the location is a bit out of the way and at first glance it doesn't look like a restaurant as soon as you walk in everything is fine. The price is a bit too high but I can definitely recommend it.

We went to the restaurant and had apprehension before entering because it was empty and a small, strange place. After we saw the comments, we put our trust in God and entered. The place was beautiful and warm and reflected a simple part of Iranian culture. They offered us a poor salad from the restaurant We ordered two dishes, chicken and meat kebab. They tasted amazing, God willing. The quantity was large, so we could not finish the dish. We took it and gave it to someone poor I give the food a 6 out of 10 As for Ali, who served us, God willing, he loves you in the place with his high morals and wit Thank you 💖💖

We were desperately searching for something to eat and found this gem. The Food was not only extremely delicious and (ful-)filling, the portions were also big. The quality of the meat was high and the salad really fresh. We had a great conversation with the person serving the food. They were enormously friendly and informed us upfront how long we'll have to wait, only to serve us much faster. We came back a second time and will eat there again. An absolute recommendation!

By chance I was at the Motel One Feuerbach nearby and wanted to eat Persian food again. Searched nearby on Google Maps and discovered this little restaurant. It's in a nondescript backyard. Go, it's definitely worth it! Nice and very friendly hosts, very tasty food and also a very pleasant conversation partner at the next table! A very nice evening!!!

I had a delicious Kabab Barg at Darband Restaurant. The quality of the food was very good and fresh – a really authentic taste! The interior of the restaurant was beautifully designed and had an interesting atmosphere. It was particularly exciting to learn more about Iranian culture, which is clearly presented here. A small disadvantage was the parking situation, as there are not many parking options nearby. Nevertheless, the restaurant is easily accessible by public transport, which makes getting there easier. Overall it was a pleasant experience with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended for anyone interested in Iranian cuisine!

We ate at this authentic Persian restaurant today and loved it. The service was very, very friendly, the food was great and the portions were huge. But what we liked best was the ambience.

We were so enchanted by our first visit in the summer that we went back again the week after! 😍 The atmosphere is simply great, you feel like you're in another country - even if you're a little confused when you first see it. The owners are super friendly and happy to talk about the food, the culture,… Food was super delicious. More meat-heavy, but there is also something for vegetarians. (I had Kashke Bademjan as my main course.) If you come by spontaneously, there won't be everything on the menu (as it sometimes takes days of preparation). So either just give in to the whole thing and be surprised or pre-order. 😊 In short: 100% recommendation!!! ❤️

Here is the best way to enjoy a very tasty meal in a local Persian restaurant in Stuttgart. I recommend all taste-seeking Stuttgart residents for whom food is important and service and ambience are not the first priority. As an Iranian, I am very satisfied and would often do it again. But unfortunately it's too expensive for this small place.

The Darband restaurant is a real insider tip for everyone who loves authentic Persian cuisine. It is a small, cozy restaurant with a table for around 6 people inside, a table for around 3 people and some seating outside. My tip: Be sure to call in advance, reserve a table and pre-order the food, as dishes like the lamb shank are freshly and elaborately prepared. Whatever food there is to choose from, you will communicated on the phone. The charm of this place lies in the warm atmosphere - you feel like you are in a Persian living room. The service is warm-hearted and courteous. An authentic Persian experience that is really worth it!

I was looking on Google for a restaurant and came across Darband.. It was located on a small industrial estate. the food was surprising... Persian food, simple but tasty, good kebab with delicious rice. What was on the plate was also more than enough, so you go home with a full belly. Also very nice people who like to chat.

BEST PERSIAN IN ALL OF GERMANY I'm already planning my next stay in Stuttgart just to be able to eat here again. You have the feeling of being directly in Tehran. From the food to the hospitality. We received a warm welcome shortly before the end. The decor was typically Persian, very inviting and cozy. The owner himself offered us a free choice of seating, even though some of the places had already been cleared away. To drink he offered us an Iranian non-alcoholic beer, which I had never tried before. The lemon-mint variety was THE bomb. Absolute recommendation. But the best is yet to come. We got an appetizer (a small salad) on the house. The cook, a Persian mom, brought us the salad. Just like the owner, she was very friendly to us. You felt like you were at home. When our main courses came, I was fascinated. It smelled incredibly delicious and was beautifully prepared. I've had some kebabs at Persian before, but none like this!!! That was pure Iran. The taste was...unbelievable in words, you have to try it for yourself. To top it all off, they brought us Tahdig. If that's not reason enough to come here...then I don't know what is. All I can say is, see you next time!

Guys, if you want to try authentic Persian food, this is the place to go. As an Iranian, I know that it's really hard to find authentic Persian restaurant anywhere in Germany. But this place is the closest one to what you could experience in Tehran. Just reserve in advance, go there and enjoy some of the best Persian food you could find around.

It was the first time I went to a restaurant like this, one with Persian cuisine and something like that, and I was really impressed. It's different from what you're used to, but it looks really nice. The people there are really warm people. I've never been so nice. I've even received a bottle I got water because I was very thirsty but didn't have enough. That was very nice. I also had a really nice chat there. The food was really delicious. I ordered Kubideh. Actually, I like minced meat and stuff like that and I'm so easy to get excited about because the meat is often very rubbery or cartilage and other things or too dry but the meat was really good no cartilage not dry and not rubbery/chewy a great atmosphere and very kind hearted people will come by again and again it was very tasty

Would give them a zero star if I could. The owner was disrespectful and condescending. Told us that he can only give us one item from menu since we didn’t make prior reservations. He said “we have 1000 of items in the menu but can only give you this one kabab since you didn’t make prior reservations”. There were flies all over the kababs and the space was dirty as well. He seemed disorganized and flustered. We decided to leave and didn’t try the food. I would recommend finding another persian restaurant (there are plenty of choices within the area).

The food was not fresh and looked like it had been reheated in the microwave. Particularly disappointing was the Baghali Polo, which only had beans and spices on the top layer - underneath it was just regular white rice. For dessert we ordered black tea and had to wait about 30 minutes for it. When the tea finally came, it was cold - and for two euros each! When we then wanted to get the bill and pay by card, we were refused. The employee explained to us that only cash was accepted on weekends, which was very annoying as we were not informed of this. As for the ambience, quality of the food and the overall dining experience, I cannot understand the many 5 star reviews this restaurant has and doubt whether they are authentic. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

August 1, 2024 I had a wonderful evening at Darband Restaurant. The Persian foods were delicious and authentic, especially the specific dish of food. The service was friendly and attentive, the staff very well informed. The ambience was stylish and inviting, which made the evening perfect. Overall an excellent experience – highly recommended!

Just fantastic! The name "Darband" refers to a beautiful place in Iran, known for its waterfalls and authentic food culture. You immediately feel welcome in the restaurant and enjoy a unique atmosphere. Reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of seats.

We were two friends and right from the start Alì did everything he could to make us feel at ease. We chatted a lot and were really pleased to have met him. We can't wait to return to enjoy their delicious food again and spend another pleasant evening in Alì's company.

Incredibleeeee!! We arrived almost by chance and the service was very good, the food was high quality, they even let us play our music and we took the opportunity to practice dancing for a wedding. We ate the dish between two, although several ate individually. The person who served us will soon close the store so I recommend that if you can come, you do so.
