It was a super sunny meal, highly recommended and a real tip in Göttingen. Go and try - great menu and definitely worth a visit.

Went to the appam buffet today. Totally delicious curry for filling and all for 13 EUR - great!

I ordered food and drinks. When I ate I was simply given spiced ketchup as a dip. A Cola Zero was already open so we couldn't drink it anymore. Erdinger wheat was delivered instead of Krombacher wheat. Unfortunately there are a lot of criticisms for such a small order… Next time somewhere else.

The food was very tasty and varied. North Indian and South Indian cuisine. The service was quick and courteous. Gladly again next time in Göttingen.

My first experience with Indian food: I tried Indian food for the first time today and really loved it! The spices were intense but very harmonious. I was particularly impressed by the variety of flavors and the freshness of the dishes. At first I was a little unsure about the spiciness, but the food was perfectly seasoned - flavorful without being overpowering. The service in the restaurant was friendly and helpful, they also gave me good recommendations. Overall, a great experience that leaves you wanting more!

Authentic Indian food with Kerala-style spices. Rarely have you experienced such authentic South Indian food in Germany. Friendly and good service!

Ordered via Lieferando. Unfortunately the food was cold and the lentil dal only tasted like water. It's a shame, it used to be better!

There is a buffet every Sunday. You can try out lots of little delicacies. My absolute favorites are the fried beetroot thalers and the coriander dip. The kitchen refilled tirelessly and the service was very warm and courteous. Gladly again.

Ordered a chicken vindaloo and a mango lassi. It's been a long time since I've had such an excellent Vindaloo Curry. The mango lassi was also very good. Delivery quick and very correct, nice and friendly. I would happily order again.

Very authentic and extremely tasty. Chicken garlic soup and garlic lamb are the best. Mango lassie not ripe enough for my taste though.

The food was way too salty. When I ordered more, it was again too salty. The sauce just tasted of salt and, to me, had nothing to do with authentic Indian spices. I've been eating Indian food for 10 years and worked in an Indian restaurant for 2 years, so I know what I'm talking about—hence my review. It's one thing to create a spicy sauce, but making it too salty has nothing to do with fine seasoning. On top of that, I had to wait 2 hours for the new food, and the delivery guy then yelled at me and seriously asked if his boss had told me to pay again. That's really quite rude and unprofessional.

Can not say enough good things about this restaurant! From the minute we arrived we were met with such friendly and helpful staff. We couldn’t decide on what to eat so we described what we liked (including spice level) and our server gave us suggestions. Mine was a dish I wouldn’t have normally chosen but it ended up being one of the most delicious Indian dishes I have ever eaten! Highly encourage anyone to try this place for an all around amazing experience!

Excellent South Indian food with wonderful vegetarian and vegan options. I particularly recommend the palak soup. Also great service, very friendly staff, and a very pleasant atmosphere.

A busy restaurant that still allows for peace and quiet. The taste of the food was very convincing. The service was a bit overwhelmed due to the number of visitors, but was always friendly. Prices are reasonable, more on the cheap side of the spectrum. Highly recommended is the Thali, a mixture of starters (Raita), three main courses in smaller quantities and dessert. Something for all tastes.

Very nice Indian restaurant on the edge of Göttingen's pedestrian zone. Very, very friendly service who spoke to us in a friendly manner when we read the display in front of the restaurant. The service was very good and quick, lots of students, great atmosphere. The food was exceptionally good and the mango yoghurt drink, which I copied from other tables, was almost a sensation. Thank you very much and we will definitely come back.

I had the pleasure of visiting this place and all I can say is it was a great experience! The food was super tasty and of good quality. The plentiful selection of dishes made it easy for me to find something that suits my taste. The service was just great! The staff was not only kind and attentive, but also humorous, which made the atmosphere very pleasant. You can tell that value is placed on good customer service here. The restaurant was clean and tidy, which is always an important criterion for me. You can see that it is getting old, but for me that is the smallest drawback. The positive aspects far outweigh the negatives! I can only recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Before eating we were shown the menu by the very nice waiter. The food came very quickly and was really delicious. You never had to wait long for the staff and they took great care to ensure that we were satisfied. Highly recommended.

So far I've visited this restaurant only once. It was okay - but nothing I could particularly recommend at this point. Not cheap but also not expensive. Service, food and atmosphere were okay - but a bit lacklustre.

It was very tasty food! The meat dish is simply top notch, tender and juicy. The garlic bread is a delight. The service was very polite and accommodating, absolutely recommended! Price performance fits! I'd love to come back.

Last Saturday we had a very special time here with our friends in Goa, with delicious food, super friendly waiters and great tips on how to enjoy Indian cuisine even more. The wine was also perfect. We'll definitely be back.

What can I say good food bnot be disappointed

We've been waiting for almost 3 hours for our food, which we ordered through Lieferando, after their own website didn't work. That was the last time we ate there even though the food was delicious.

Six of us were in Goa on Saturday evening and we were not disappointed. The starters and main courses were very tasty, the service was friendly, unobtrusive and courteous. Reasonably priced, the atmosphere is perhaps a bit rustic. Overall, really good and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, despite a confirmed reservation and a 20-minute wait, there was no table available for 7 people today, so we left again. You have to be able to rely on a reservation. No drinks or anything similar were offered while we waited. The restaurant could have solved the situation better.

We enjoyed the New Year's Eve buffet at Goa India in Göttingen this evening and are thrilled! The variety of dishes was impressive - from delicious starters to aromatic main courses to fantastic desserts, everything was perfectly coordinated. Particularly noteworthy are the authentic spices, which made every dish a taste experience. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, ideal for a celebratory evening. A big thank you to the Goa India team – we will definitely be back!

Were here for lunch on Friday December 27th, 2024. Very friendly service, both to us adults and our two little boys. We had various dishes from the lunch menu, chicken and also vegan options (mango lassi, for example, was specially prepared vegan). Really everything was very tasty and very reasonably priced with rice and naan included. Got a nice table in a quiet corner. We are not great connoisseurs of Indian cuisine, but for our European tastes and for our children it tasted great here. From our point of view, a clear recommendation! We'd love to come back!

Very attentive and friendly staff. There was absolutely nothing to complain about with the food or drinks; for 5 stars, at least my main course was missing a certain something. I will happily stay here again and look forward to my next visit.

This was one of - if not the best - restaurant experiences that I've had since I've come to live in Germany. In fact, I am unsure that any review I could give it would necessarily do it justice. First of all, the food is, simply put, really good. They have altered the palette for their German clientele, but if you're an Ausländer, like I am, then don't be afraid to ask them to make it spicier. I ordered the Chicken Chettinad, with a tea, and I have to say that it's been a while since I've had a meal out that hit the spot like that. Moreover, the service is excellent. The staff is bilingual in English and German, at least, and they seem to really want to cultivate an international atmosphere, to create a place where people from the world over can come and eat. Not only that, but they wanted to get to know the people that they served, in general, and were interested in actually making friends with their customers. And this goes without mentioning the atmosphere, which was homey and quiet; classy, while also being welcoming. All in all, I had a wonderful experience eating here. I suggest, wholeheartedly, that you give this place a try.

We like to eat Indian food, it was our first time at GOA and we were very impressed. Very friendly service, delicious food with a great selection (never seen so many types of lassi on a menu; we stuck with the mangolassi and it was great). We were all thrilled and will definitely come back :-) The only minus star is the cold white lighting of the tables from above. Warm white light would be great for the ambience here.

Noble temple-like ambience. Polite and friendly service. Very professional and yet also has a nice saying. Large selection of Indian dishes. I had prawns and mint chicken tikka. And it was incredibly tasty. Especially the shrimp. Seldom seen so well done. The chicken is tender and juicy with a delicious mint marinade. The price is still okay. I'll come back when I get the chance!

A very good Indian restaurant! The Chicken Tikka Masala is very good, tender chicken, perfectly seasoned. The Sauvignon Blanc is very good👍! Friendly, courteous service. Everything fits. We were there on Saturday with a reservation - definitely recommended, without a reservation we wouldn't have gotten a table.

We have never eaten there before without finding it absolutely delicious. The service is also nice and you can always get a table, even without a reservation. One of our favorite restaurants in Göttingen. I can only recommend it.

Had to wait 1h 15min but it was totally worth the wait. Ordered Chicken Korma and Chicken 65 and this - restaurant - knows - their - business. An explosion of flavors inside you and I managed to find something to eat even though I have over 10 allergies. Also great work for putting in all the information for people with allergies. I'm obsessed.

The review was very good , so I had high expectations, but totally dissatisfied with taste , although ambience was very good , the mutton didn’t cooked properly and the curry is very sweet (sugary) so lost it’s authentic flavor , parotta was ok but dude to trashy mutton korma I could enjoy it much! But all looks very beautiful 😔

We ordered food a while ago and all the dishes were just bad. In terms of taste and quality.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately not spicy at all, as ordered. In general, Indian restaurants in Germany don't dare to cook like they do at home. Make a dish, give people a thali bowl to try. Otherwise the tikka is more of a butter chicken.... The star deduction is because the chutney was no longer good. Grated coconut (also frozen as far as I'm concerned) with chili would be better. But I would like to come back and try again.

I've been in Europe for over 5 years, and I can honestly say I haven't had Indian food this good anywhere in the EU! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and we had the chance to try their buffet, which offered an excellent variety. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Göttingen!

Delicious food, great service in English and German, lovely outdoor tables and inside looked nice too. The chicken korma was particularly good. If you’re from the UK you’ll find it’s a similar menu to Indian restaurants back home.

I ordered lamb vindaloo (spicy) from Lieferando and wrote in the comments that I like spicy. I got a mild, creamy sauce. It had a similar effect to a butter chicken sauce and was weak even for that.

We ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats. The food was very tasty and aromatic. The portions were more than enough! Despite delivery to Weststadt, the food was very hot.

Just ate at the buffet offered by the restaurant. The food was great, veg, non-veg and vegan options, that too unlimited. The taste was really good, dishes varied from spicy to mild which is a good distribustion of taste :) They had authentic Indian desserts. The staff was very friendly, would highly recommend.
