The service is warm and very accommodating. The portions are generous with good price ratio. Very tasty and beautifully prepared.

Rustic atmosphere and very crowded. Attentive service. Everything happens very quickly.

My visit to the Mexican restaurant in Berlin was unforgettable! The food was fantastic, with authentic flavors and beautifully decorated dishes. From the tacos to the enchiladas, everything was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service was quick and friendly. Girasol is one of my favorite restaurants. It always tastes delicious here and has been doing so for many years with very good quality and first-class service. We always enjoy coming here. I ordered 2x Mojito for €8.50 a glass. It was probably worth €3.00 a glass, the cocktails were totally wasted and the lime pieces weren't even squeezed. I briefly crushed my limes with my fingers to get a taste into the glass. I just find something like that cheeky and unprofessional. Given the price, I expect a decent drink and not some junk. Unfortunately my wife stopped me from complaining and she picked up the bill. I will no longer support such restaurants with my hard-earned money.

When I feel like Mexican, I always end up at Girasol. The food is always very good, as you would expect from many other Mexican restaurants. But above all I like the friendly and funny service as well as the cocktails. At the end you always get a margarita shot on the house.

The food was good though not cheap. However, the older waiter simply ripped us off, probably taking advantage of us not speaking german - I asked for a corona cerveza and he took the initiative to bring me the 2€ more expensive cerveza. Not worth going again

I have been visiting this restaurant very regularly for many years, all my children and even grandchildren only want to eat at Girasol, we celebrate almost all of our birthdays with wonderful food, great hospitality and a very nice birthday congratulation... please keep it up. .. We spontaneously sought shelter because of the rain. And we were very impressed with the service and friendliness. Service was very attentive. The kids had Bolognese and typical children's food, fries with nuggets. It was tasty because the plates were empty. When paying, everyone including the kids got a nightcap, which everyone was happy about. As I said, very attentive and nice service and also child-friendly.

We just had an amazing meal at the Girasol. I need to give an extra nod of approval to our server Kemal who was one of the most professional servers I have ever come across. You will not be disappointed by coming to the restaurant.

Otherwise, fast service, always keep an eye on the guests if you want to order something else. The grill plate with salad is plentiful and filling for the price... It was a pleasure.

The map is well developed, but I didn't like the price-performance ratio. I specially ordered the Tex Mex platter and was able to try a lot. But everything tasted very bland, so I was a little disappointed. There are different drinks per day, so the tequila for 2.90 euros was great! The small negative point was that we sat outside and had to look at a huge pile of dog poop the whole time. In my world it's not that pleasant when it comes to eating. Please pay attention.

What would an evening be without laughter and friends? A lost one!!! The Girasol is by far the best thing that has happened to us in almost 15/16 years, as long as I can remember there has been consistent cuisine and great drinks. As a friend of the house, you will always find a place, whether inside or outside! The dishes are sumptuous and delicious... you'll find at least one dish you like and at least one cocktail or two Margarita that will delight you in the evening. The staff is quick and absolutely super nice! As an original Berliner in the neighborhood, I have been able to enjoy going to GiraSol for several years now!

I didn't know that green coriander had such an important place in Mexican cuisine. Contrary to initial skepticism, it tasted good, but wasn't particularly bothersome to me, even though I'm usually less fond of coriander. The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious. We'd love to come back.

Overall I wasn't happy with the food. The selection of dishes is far too large and the enchiladas were anything but authentically Mexican. The salsa roja/verde was also completely forgotten. Furthermore, the prices are not even remotely reasonable. But the service was friendly. And please revise your menu!

Very friendly staff. Flexible. We actually reserved a table inside. But we spontaneously went outside, the table inside was kept free because a storm was forecast. We weren't kicked out at midnight because of a birthday. The toilets are clean. Card payment is possible without any problems. You can come here again.

I was here for dinner a while ago and again today for lunch. I think the food is really delicious and the service is super friendly. I was really surprised at how cheap the lunch special was. I can really recommend this. Even as a vegetarian you can find something, which is not a given for Mexicans. Really great! The only Mexican place I like to eat at.

I was amazed by their presentation, attentiveness, portion size and quality! Really loved the Vegetarian burrito, and the baked cheese in it surprised me. Cherry on the top was the delicious watermelon flavoured schnapps to end our lunch. Hands down recommended for all.

I ordered an English rump steak with porcini mushrooms and fried potatoes. The plate was cold, as were the fried potatoes. The porcini mushrooms were canned and served in a packet sauce with mostly raw onions. The service was friendly and attentive, the music was rather annoying.

I love this restaurant and have been coming here for about 20 years now. The quality of the food is still the same and, above all, you are always greeted with a friendly and familiar atmosphere. My second home. My favorite food is the Quesadillas de Pollo.

Really a great restaurant, the service was very attentive and friendly, gave recommendations and you had the feeling that he put his heart and soul into it. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We went there for my husband's birthday and were surprised to get dessert on the house and the obligatory schnapps (a non-alcoholic alternative for the children). All in all a really great restaurant, we would love to come back when we are on holiday in Berlin.

The food and service were nice. Just was a bit packed at the time of the visit.

The stuff were really nice, the food was tasty, the portions were quite big and the cocktails were good (especially the mango colada) if you like Mexican food you should give this place a visit and when you come make sure you're hungry, one main dish and your full. We are tourists but there was no language barrier what so ever, one guy even spoke my mother tongue which was a pleasant surprise. Would come again but we're in Berlin just for a week :)

A very nice Mexican restaurant with really nice service. Salad with cactus strips or cactus soup is exotic even in Berlin and definitely an insider tip. Drinks menu also good - especially very good tequilas at fair prices. Definitely not a tourist rip-off. Gladly again!

We were there last night with a small group. Thanks to good online reservations, the place was found quickly. The service employee served us in a very friendly manner and made us feel welcome. The food was very good except for a few little things. The food was served on warm plates, which is unfortunately not done otherwise. The cocktails are recommended, just try them out, but be careful, they are rich and are mixed at the bar. The price pleasantly surprised us for the quality. Extra point: a taxi was called to us as a matter of course. A perfect evening

This was the worst “Mexican” food I ever tasted, there was nothing Mexican about it, except the names. The food was bland, heavy, and just overall sad. Avoid this place if you want to get Mexican food.
