5 stars are not enough, I was there a while ago and in my opinion it was the best restaurant I have ever been to, the food is very very good, it is highly recommended.

We were absolutely surprised by how delicious the food was. We asked for advice and were delighted. Very well seasoned, and the service was very fast and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Berlin's best Mexican restaurant!♥️♥️♥️

Ordered food for delivery (half of us got vegetarian food, half of us got chicken). It tastes like a Mexican-Indian fusion - it was edible, but it wasn't great, and that wasn't what we were going for. We got meals that said they came with guacamole, and instead we got a green salsa that smelled and tasted like curry (see picture). They seem to actually have guacamole, because my sister got some with the nachos she ordered. I wouldn't come here again.

You know what you're getting. The food is good. The portions are very large and therefore correspondingly expensive. It would be nice if the sour cream was served separately, so everyone could take as much as they wanted. Mine was definitely too much. Nevertheless, I'll come back and let you know in advance next time.

A varied menu, the food is very good, the staff is even friendlier than expected, and they're also child-friendly. A coloring sheet with crayons was naturally placed on our table. The ambiance is traditional Mexican and meets all expectations. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Absolutely delicious! The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The waiter was very friendly and even accommodated special requests (vegetarian Girosol platter). Apart from me, there were only locals here. An insider tip ;) We'd go back anytime!

Very good food, both the selection and the taste. But the plate with the chicken wings, mozzarella sticks etc. only has 1 chicken wing/mozzarella stick. In addition, the prices are considerable, although this could be compensated for by the quality of the food

Tenía la chimichura. Sabia bien, pero todo estaba empapado. Un solo chip de tortilla era lo único con algo de textura. La ensalada genérica que pusieron en cada plato (3 platos diferentes) fue solo una pérdida de espacio insulsa. Pero un camarero muy acogedor.

What a great experience at Girasol Mexican Restaurant! The service was exceptional, the staff very friendly and always making sure everything was perfect. Generous portions with a delicious taste. And to top it all off, they surprised us with a margarita shot that was incredibly delicious. Without a doubt, Girasol is a place I definitely want to come back to.

This has been my favorite place for years. Not only is the food always delicious and absolutely inexpensive, the staff is simply super friendly and they don't skimp on anything. If someone here notices that you are celebrating a birthday or something similar, you will receive a free dessert with music and a show. Absolutely deserves 5 stars 🔝

My favorite Mexican in Berlin ;)

I was there yesterday with my family. The food, the location and especially the staff were great! The only small flaws we found are that too much salad is served, which is also a bit boring (e.g. not enough onions, tomatoes or carrots, mostly just lettuce leaves). The quesadillas de carne, which taste really great, are the same price as the burrito. However, only 4 pieces are served (at least to me), which is not enough compared to the burrito. Unfortunately, they didn't really fill you up. However, I would like to eat there more often and can only recommend the restaurant! That's why it would be nice if the salad and quesadillas could be adjusted a bit.

Friday evening... Loud, crowded, great, a lot of people make noise, especially when several groups are sitting next to each other (we contributed to that 🧐🙃🫣😅), the air became thin, people noticed it all by themselves and opened the window 👌 Service👌, everyone we had at the table from the team was great, the food and cocktails were consistently delicious😋. Probably the worst mexican restaurant I've ever been to! Nachos were sad, cold, store bought, with store bought guacamole and salsa roja that tasted more like curry than anything else. Quesadilla was also poor with even more of the said curry salsa. Pico de gallo was tastelles chopped tomato and nothing more. Unfortunately, even the margarita tasted bad! Prices too high for the offered quality. Absolutely do not recommend this place!

The cocktails were quite good - but both the menu with the "jokes" and the service's sayings were dripping with sexism and pure machismo. Very tasteless. You won't find authentic Mexican cuisine on the menu. We wouldn't come back.

Very nice Mexican restaurant with authentic decor and good Mexican food. The menu is extensive and offers a lot of what you would want from Mexican cuisine. The meals were well prepared and tasty. The cocktails were mixed a little stronger upon request and were also as requested. Unfortunately, I was missing the appropriate Mexican music for the Mexican atmosphere. The pop music offered was not suitable. Overall, the restaurant is recommended.

Margarita without crushed ice in a Martini glass, jalapeño poppers with sour cream and a red pepper couldn't have been a chilli as it wasn't spicy at all) instead of cheese and bits of jalapeños. Nacho chips non nondescript, salsa not existent on the Taco 4 2 dish, soare ribs tasteless and garnished with... MAYO! Urgh.

Good taste and large portions. They also have the classic Mexican soda – Jarritos. Nice ambiance with spacious indoor seating. Very nice service. They also offered us a free shot of alcohol or espresso after our meal.

Girasol is one of my favorite restaurants. It always tastes delicious here and has been doing so for many years with very good quality and first-class service. We always enjoy coming here. The price increase has also been fairly reasonable over the years. We particularly like the No.52 Quesadillas de Pollo. Yammie

I ordered 2x Mojito for €8.50 a glass. It was probably worth €3.00 a glass, the cocktails were totally wasted and the lime pieces weren't even squeezed. I briefly crushed my limes with my fingers to get a taste into the glass. I just find something like that cheeky and unprofessional. Given the price, I expect a decent drink and not some junk. Unfortunately my wife stopped me from complaining and she picked up the bill. I will no longer support such restaurants with my hard-earned money.

When I feel like Mexican, I always end up at Girasol. The food is always very good, as you would expect from many other Mexican restaurants. But above all I like the friendly and funny service as well as the cocktails. At the end you always get a margarita shot on the house.
