Maria Bonita in Berlin

I ate a beef burrito today and unfortunately I have to say it wasn't edible. The meat was so disgustingly stringy and tough that it was inedible. I often eat chicken there. Can't recommend the beef.

Their chilaquiles and agua de horchata are fantastic! Services is generally great. The only downside is there is not much sitting area (indoors). Other than that, this is one of my favourite spots for Mexican food. Check us out - @osofoodies

The carnitas tacos are spectacular - I missed spicy hot sauces.

Half street food half restaurant: perfect for a quick meal, with quite some standing tables and a couple of bigger tables with seats. The vegetarian quesadilla was very rich and yummy, much appreciated after a workout. I liked that each shape (taco, burrito, quesadilla) comes in a meat or vegetarian version. Prices are around 9-11€ per portion, which is fair.

What beautiful people, good treatment and good food.

The taccos were a little soggy but okay. But the beef burrito was completely over salted and didn't taste like anything other than salt. The nachos don't look nice because of their dark color, and the guacamole with them contained almost half avocados and was unfortunately too salty. And the large portion is too expensive at 10 euros! Otherwise you pay for it gratinated with cheese plus guacemole, beans, crema and tomatoes. The crema we ordered, which costs extra, was missing despite payment. No complaints could be made about the pickup. But for 32 euros in total, not recommended, sorry, even if the service (order takers and chef) are really friendly ..

Burritos tasty but kinda hard to eat. My tortilla was completely soggy and therefore I couldn't eat it with my hands. Margaritas are delicious but too expensive.

Carnitas tacos with cheese very greasy. Barely tasted the meat. I have the feeling it used to be better there. Price performance is good, drinks too. Margarita a bit expensive. Unfortunately no toilets.

With all due respect, I have rarely eaten something as disappointing as this "burrito" and "quesadilla." After just two bites I had to stop. This has absolutely nothing to do with Mexican food. An unappetizing mixture of beans, chicken and cheap cheese wrapped in an industrial ready-made bread - and this is supposed to be Mexican food?

Their carnitas tacos were delicious, the guacamole and the tortilla chips...🤌🏻✨ The horchata water and the margaritas were also incredible. I think it's my new favorite restaurant 💕 The only bad thing is that it is hot if you eat inside, but they have tables outside. I will definitely return

Highly recommended! Very authentic Mexican food...had chilaquiles rojas and agua de Jamaica (not too sweet for my taste). And it was no problem leaving out the cheese and replacing it with beans 😊❤️ Unfortunately no toilet because it is a small shop.

Great food but keep in mind it is a quite noisy place and be prepared to wait for your food - but it is really worth waiting for.

I come here a lot with my friend for burrito or taco night. Service can be a little slower when busy but it's always worth the wait. The margaritas are fun and perfect for when it's hot

If you want to have a great burrito and quesadilla, then come here! Very tasty, there are queues, but the staff gets it done quickly! Everything is very delicious! I recommend it to everyone 🫶🏻

Deli deli! Authentic Mexican tacos in Berlin! I was very happy to be able to eat some real tacos and chilaquiles with their respective hibiscus water :) and at decent prices. The only thing I didn't like is that they only use disposable plastic cups :( nothing eco-friendly

Authentic and delicious Mexican food at a fair price! Even though you often have to wait a little longer for your food in the evening, the food never disappoints

The food is spectacular. The best Mexican I've ever had. The carnitas quesadilla left me speechless. I will return without a doubt!

Good Mexican food but a little too fatty for me

A very cute little bistro where everything seems to be homemade. The price is not exactly cheap but still completely reasonable. The staff was super nice and also brought out your food. I can only recommend the vegetarian tacos, they were very tasty and no food was too spicy for sensitive people.

Absolutely delicious Mexican food in Berlin. Meat and ingredients were high quality. Portions were satisfactory and prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the carne asada tacos with cheese. Will come back.

Super delicious food. Super nice staff took their time. Very tastefull. Parking very difficult. Price-performance ratio a bit too expensive for me. For 3 tacos 9€. But in terms of taste it was one of the best things we ate in Berlin.

I wish I had found this place the last 2 times I was in Berlin. As an American living in Munich for the last 8 years, my endless search for even mediocre Mexican food in Munich was…and still is endless. Maria Bonita is an oasis in the middle of a desert. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and caring, the food is an 11 out of 10, and the prices are reasonable. I had the carnitas tacos, carnitas quesadilla, and the frozen margarita (grapefruit) across the two visits I made this week. If I had the time, I’d go back again. I still have lunch today…

Very, very good authentic Mexican cuisine

Really delicious tacos, which are always freshly prepared. On average you pay €10 for 3 tacos each. You can choose from chicken, pork and beef. There are always specials too. The tacos tasted really great. It was also worth noting that it went very quickly, even though the store was full.

A nice Mexican bistro to have a quick bite. It's easy to reach, next to a tram stop. The food is good, the prices are normal. Nothing mind blowing or wrong. It's a small place. There is limited space inside and it's hot. There are tables outside but it can be challenging in the summer due to the scorching sun. There are not many trees to cast a shadow. It's a convenient bistro to eat something quick and move on. If it aligns with your expectations then nothing disappointing.

Very nice, authentic Mexican food but very few places to sit

A matter of taste. We ordered a burrito with chicken and taccos with chicken as well. Meat was very mushy and didn't look tempting. The burrito wasn't tasty either. My daughter usually loves it, but she didn't like it either.

Cute little Mexican spot offering burritos, tacos quesadillas etc, my only wish is that they offered proper jalapeño or habanero peppers to go with the food. Other than that lovely spot that is fair priced and generous portions. Been a couple of times will return again soon

The food was super tasty and really authentic - not that easy to find in Germany. :) Nachos, tacos, burritos and chilaquiles were all outstanding! Additionally, the horchata was a highlight. 🫶🏼

The tacos are good, but not outstanding. At €8-10 for 3 tacos, the prices are below average. Which of course is still rather expensive for the amount you get. We missed the selection of different salsas and the spice of the meat. The totopes and guacamole were very tasty!

Tasty tacos but doesn't have a restroom

I wasn’t sure if this would be authentic, but it really was. Amazing food, very delicious. The staff/service was nice! Highly recommend. I had tacos, and would come back again!

Mala suerte o mala sazón... esa es la duda. Bastante bien el guacamole y los chilaquiles. Las aguas de jamaica y horchata muy bien. Tostadas y tortillas ok. El problema...la tinga. No la pidan. No solo no es... tinga. Tampoco sabe bien. La carne de pollo grasosa y dorada como para Döner, poca cebolla, lo amargo como sabor predominante, la salsa no era de tinga sino BBQ con un poco de puré de tomate dulzón. El encargado no se tomó bien la crítica (no era mexicano, sino argentino, es posible que no sepa cómo debe saber la tinga). No volvería

Delicious!! Next time I would take the carnitas without cheese, unfortunately it overshadowed the pork a bit but overall 10/10 Definitely again!

Price/performance is not right in my opinion. A group of 4 (3 adults and one child) spent 65€ and apart from the little one, no one was full, so we would have had to spend another 30-40. In terms of taste it was tasty but not a sensation for the palate. I won't go back because of the ratio of price to portion size, you can go to the restaurant.

Best Pork belly taco in Berlin♥️

The "nice" gentleman at the counter pointed out to me when I was paying that I could leave a tip, which I found very intrusive! AND my burrito was filled with MEAT MASH 🤮

Once you've eaten here, you can't eat Mexican anywhere else. There is really nothing else as good in Berlin. They're playing in the Champions League and everyone else is in kindergarten. Please open a shop in West Berlin ❤️❤️❤️

they had the special plant based tinga on Sunday and it's every bit as good as the meat one! we also had the sweet potato tacos. unexpectedly we made papa con chorizo tacos with the two!! the cream served with the sweet potato tacos also top notch as well as the two salsas roja y verde.

The food is just so amazing! A must try place.

Coriander tastes like soap to me, so I prefer less otherwise everything is tip top flip flop

A gem of a place, full of soul, good people, excellent food and good times! It's so good, be prepared to not find a seat at peak times.

Unfortunately we were totally disappointed. each of our dishes was overloaded with bean paste. Complete overkill of bean paste. We know it differently from Mexico. A pity.

Super tasty, I can only recommend it. The food and the shop are super authentic. Taste and look like in Mexico. A must for the Mexico fan.
