The food was so quick and the service was very nice. Gladly again :)

The service staff tried very hard and was very friendly. The food was not enjoyable. The meatloaf could not be recognized as meatloaf either visually or in terms of taste. Potatoes were fried in rancid fat. The onions were partly burnt and everything was too salty. The food was returned and we were not charged. Thanks again for the nice service.

Nice shady place, solid restaurant. Food arrived after what felt like 5 minutes!? An onion schnitzel was ordered and the Wirthausschnitzel, which, although more expensive, was much smaller. The onions tasted strange because they were completely over-seasoned with rosemary. The fried potatoes were actually delicious but unfortunately they were swimming in fat.

Here, the natural beer produced in our own brewery tastes twice as good, especially in summer and outdoors under the beautiful trees. Schnitzel with fries or a delicious pork knuckle do the rest. We keep coming back!

Great outdoor country tavern on edge of Frankfurt city limits. Four-minute walk from U1 U-Bahn. Fabulous selection of schnitzels and other meat and potato dishes. Lots of seasonal variations through spring and summer. Good selection of beer and apple wines. Lovely, shaded setting.

So the food tastes great, but the staff is a disaster. We were promised over the phone that you could watch a European Championship game there & we arrived an hour and a half extra hour in advance because you couldn't make a reservation so they then told you no, we don't plant the channel here... catastrophe! How bold do you want to be?! Sits at the table for almost 6 hours and then spends hundreds of eueros as a group and doesn't even get a shot on the house for the whole thing?! I'll never eat in the restaurant again and the people who were with me said the same thing. Think about it carefully

I visited the Ginnheimer Wirtshaus for the first time with a friend of mine. I had the meatloaf with onions and fried potatoes, and my friend had Frankfurt green sauce and fried potatoes. The food came in less than five minutes and therefore did not give the impression of being freshly prepared. The taste of both meals was borderline and therefore not recommended. The service wasn't very friendly either. It's a shame because the beer garden and the location promised a different impression.

There should definitely be someone working in a tavern who can tap beer.

Here you can get averagely good German or regional Frankfurt cuisine. However, at one corner or another the food gives the impression of coming out of a bag. The inside of the dining room is relatively comfortable. The service is nice, but sometimes it takes a little longer. Your own cellar beer tastes great! So overall we have an average good restaurant here.

We have been coming here for many years and have gotten to know some tenants. The menu has been identical for years, the food is good, the beer selection is varied and delicious However, the service is underground! The waiter didn't understand the orders! The ice cream for dessert sat around until it melted, instead of the two balls we ordered, three came and instead of one hazelnut spirit we ordered, there were two on the bill! Only noticed it when I got home! In short, Never ever!

Leider alles Andere als gut. Es war mal wirklich gut dort, aber nach dem Besitzerwechsel ist das Essen nicht mehr das was es mal war. Wir saßen recht nahe an der Küche und konnten beobachten das die Burger Buns vom Discounter waren. Das Patty war auch bereits fertig aus der Packung. Ich bin mir auch ziemlich sicher, dass das Bier für welches das Wirtshaus einst mal bekannt war, nicht mehr das ist, was es vorgibt zu sein. Es schmeckt genau so wie aus der Plastikflasche großer Lebensmittel Discounter Bestellt man ein Maß, dann macht es den Eindruck als wären dort zwei Plastikflaschen Bier eingefüllt worden, so sieht es dann auch aus….

Unfortunately, anything but good. It used to be really good there, but after the change of ownership the food is no longer what it used to be. We sat quite close to the kitchen and could see that the burger buns were from the discount store. The patty was already ready out of the package. I'm also pretty sure that the beer the pub was once known for is no longer what it claims to be. It tastes exactly like the plastic bottle from a large discount grocery store. If you order a measure, it gives the impression that two plastic bottles of beer have been poured into it, which is what it looks like

We searched for the restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, I can't entirely agree with this. The ambience of the beer garden could be made more beautiful with little effort. The tables were dirty, cobwebs and dried plants, parasols wrapped in garbage bags weren't really inviting. Service nice. A bread dumpling the size of a tennis ball for €15.90 is grossly exaggerated, perhaps you could have used porcini mushrooms - perhaps a 1 slipped in front of it by mistake? The taste is good but not above average. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes didn't last longer than 30 seconds in the pan and were consistently boring, greasy and pale. Unfortunately, hand cheese was not inserted and therefore very dry. All in all, it was a rather sobering visit, unfortunately.

Food for the (culinary) lower class First of all: We live only 200 meters from the “Ginnheimer Wirtshaus”. And we avoid it. Actually, as the saying goes, it would be cozy here - if the inn weren't full of meaningless devotional objects, old radios, strange furnishings and sexist sayings on the walls. Stupid signs at the entrance. Kitsch as kitsch can! The food? We tried it again after a long break. It is a challenge. We had tarte flambée and Leberkäs with fried eggs and fried potatoes. If I'm not mistaken, but of course all innkeepers are assumed to only have good things: convenience food, i.e. goods purchased ready to cook. Unfortunately soggy fried potatoes. Undercooked meatloaf. In the kitchen there may be many people whose main job is to operate microwave ovens and take things out of the package. Only the beer tastes good. At least something.

Rustic inn at the Ginnheimer Wäldchen and the junction of the extension of Niedwiesenstrasse. The schnitzel with green sauce and the tarte flambée were a positive surprise. We didn't expect either of these to be of this quality. The in-house cellar beer was also very tasty. The service needs to be optimized. The menu cards came to the table without being asked, then nothing happened. We had to ask several times to order and pay. The plates were cleared away at some point, but we were no longer asked if we wanted something more to drink. The empty glasses were left standing for a long time like reminders of their own poor service. In the end, despite the good food, we were conflicted. One had the impression that one was not wanted here.

Almost an institution in Frankfurt for decades. Rustic ambience. Top schnitzel and delicious beer. Chair uncomfortable, short backrest, some tables quite small. Staff nice. Tip for the staff, serve plates from the right and the salad from the left, which saves you having to serve it across the table.

After a nice walk in Niddapark you can stop off at the cozy Ginnheimer Wirtshaus. Delicious food with quick service. Gladly again.

We were there today around 5:45 p.m. There were no more fries, the side salad was very watery, the meatloaf had a very thin sauce that was too salty for me. The service took a long time even though it wasn't that busy. It's a shame, I remember it much better.

There were four of us. Ate burgers, rump steak and hand cheese. Everything was great and delicious. Incl. 2 drinks each €115 is contemporary. Friendly service, no long waiting times. Absolutely to suggest.

A thoroughly successful evening in the Ginnheimer Wirtshaus. Friendly and quick service and good food in a rustic atmosphere. It was all very good!

Service not good on a Saturday afternoon. Waited 3/4 hours until the order and drinks were at the table. Ordered food in the evening. Turkey schnitzel with side dish. Was very, very dry. Was told to the waiter when clearing the dishes. But he wasn't interested. Not a word from him. During our stay the drink service could have been much better. That's not how you make sales. We were disappointed with 7 people. A pity.

As always, the food was very good, nice friendly service. We sat inside. It was very comfortable. It would be a good way to warm up after a walk in the rain. The food was brought relatively quickly, not a long wait.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food. But the house's attitude towards dogs. Dogs are not allowed and no food is served at the tables outside or you are not allowed to take it out. So it's not a good address when Biegarten isn't in season or are dogs not allowed in? Very annoying.

I once gave it 3 stars, but unfortunately I have to revise that now! Apparently the restaurant has now removed all of the average and poor reviews based on complaints. Shame on you! Essen (Gänsebraten) war wirklich super, gutes Bier und schneller aufmerksamer Service. Kommen gerne wieder.

Eine Frechheit! Ich habe vor 4 Jahren! eine Rezension geschrieben, habe drei Sterne gegeben und mich nur über die damalige Bedienung geärgert, aber ohne mich unflätig zu äußern! Jedenfalls bekomme ich nun nach 4 Jahren eine Beschwerde, die vom Betreiber bei Google eingegangen ist. Schämt euch, wenn ihr keine konstruktive Kritik vertragen könnt!!! Und das nach 4 (!!!) Jahren! In der Beschwerde wird mir ausserdem vorgeworfen, dass ich nie Gast gewesen wäre, obwohl ich damals sehr oft dort war, es hat mir immer ganz gut gefallen, bis wir dann unmöglich behandelt wurden! Pfui! Wie kann man sich als Betreiber so verhalten? Woher wollen sie wissen, das ich nie Gast war, nach 4 Jahren?

Das Essen hat geschmeckt 4 Sterne, Preis-Leistung stimmte. Der Service 2 Sterne, Der Tisch war offensichtlich "verschmutzt" und es kam erst nur ein Teil der gesamten Bestellung.

Sauber, gutes Essen, freundliches Personal. Preise sind noch normal. Ambiente Eng/teilweise Überfüllt.

Perfekt im Sommer im Biergarten dieses Restaurants zu sitzen. Manchmal sogar mit Live-Musik. Das Essen ist stets köstlich, sowie die Desserts auch. Ich habe hier wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Empfehlenswert!

Das Bier ist gut das Essen ist Standard

Früher (90er), als Wäldchesbräu, war es wirklich top. Sehr gut besucht, eine Schlange beim Eingang. Dann hatte irgendwann der Besitzer gewechselt und wir sind nur noch selten hin. Das letzte mal war im Sommer 2022, dort war die Bedienung unflexibel und hat hinter unserem Rücken gelästert. Tja... das war der Bruch. Aktuell gehe ich ab und zu mit ein paar Freunden auf ein Bier (sehr lecker) dorthin, manchmal essen (einfach von der Karte, ohne Wünsche) wir auch etwas. Die Bedienung von damals ist ggf. gar nicht mehr dort, aber so isses nunmal wenn man einmal schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht hat.

Sehr angenehmes Lokal, Essen war lecker, Bedienung freundlich.

Schöner Biergarten am Grüngürtel Radweg. Leckeres Essen, gutes Bier. Hier sitzt man gut und gemütlich, außen und innen. Und günstig ist es auch noch.

Am ehemaligen BUGA Gelände, mit neuen Pächter ohne eigene Bierbrauerei. Schweinshaxe ist riesig. Portionen sind auch sonst ordentlich, mit guter Qualität. Preise sind fair. Lage ist super, nach dem spazieren oder auf den Wiesen liegen, noch ein kaltes Getränk oder was kleines Essen.

Radtourpause bei einem frischen Bier Eigenmarke Naturtrüb. Es gibt nichts Besseres.

Ob drinnen oder draußen sehr gemütlich. Viel Platz. Meist Reichhaltiges Essen typisch Frankfurt oder deftige Hausmannskost oder der Spaziergang Absacker Kaffe und Kuchen oder das Bierchen oder Appelwein. Sehr gut die Schnitzel, der große Burger oder der Salat mit gebratenen Pfifferlingen. Sehr gut enrnfalls selbst gebrautes Bier oder frischer Apfelwein. *Schade noch kein Glühwein * Sehr beliebt und ein Sommerartikel den es hier nicht gibt und daher nur als Tip an den Betreiber : Apfelwein Rose. Schnelle Bedienung, nette Leute, schönes Ambiente.

Ein schönes Wirtshaus, wo man im Sommer schön Abends etwas Essen gehen kann. Das Lokal ist gut mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto zu erreichen. Das Essen ist gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Die Portionen sind allerdings echt groß, was gerade aktuell sehr positiv auffällt, da viele Restaurant unter Verweiß auf gestiegene Kosten ihre Portionsgröße angepasst haben. Die Schnitzel sind gut und als Getränk kann man das Kirschbier sehr empfehlen. Kartenzahlung ist möglich, was zusätzlich sehr erfreulich ist.

Das Ginnheimer Wirtshaus hat einen schönen Innenbereich und einen tollen kleinen Biergarten. Das Personal ist nett und das Ambiente ebenfalls. Der Wirtshaus Burger mit Cheddar ist und war, schon seit Jahren, LEGENDÄR! Heute haben wir dazu noch Pfifferlinge gehabt. Ebenfalls sensationell. Absolute Empfehlung!
