We always enjoy coming here. The buffet offers something for everyone and everything is super fresh and delicious. Now we tried the Peking duck and it was such a special experience - simply indescribable. So tender and delicious 😋 I can highly recommend it. We will often spend a nice time here in a pleasant environment with delicious food 🤩

The taste is very authentic! The portions are large, the service is attentive, and the surprise is beyond expectations! Every dish, including fatty intestines, fish, roast duck, spicy chicken, mutton, and Maoxuewang, is delicious. The roast duck rack made into spicy duck rack is even more delicious!

We went to this restaurant this evening and everything was fine at the beginning. A gentleman “set up” the buffet and then served it, among other things. This man had an unbearable alcohol streak and his hands were incredibly unkempt. Long nails with dirt underneath, an injured finger that bled through the pavement. INCREDIBLE that this man doesn't wear gloves while preparing the buffet. I was so disgusted. If you let such employees go to the buffet, what kind of people are in the kitchen? Very last time.

The food was very hot. That is positive for us. Very little choice, never made up. I had to actively talk to the staff about it. Ice cream spoon floats in creamy water. That doesn't actually have to be the case. In the men's toilet, 2 of the 3 urinals are defective... We don't have to go there again. Price performance poor

This restaurant is always the first one that comes into my mind to have food with my friends. I liked the Peking duck the best. As the buffet, it is fresh, delicious and multiple options. I like the environment so much. This restaurant is well decorated and I had very nice experience to have food here!

I ordered several dishes, the roast duck and couple's lung slices were very delicious! We also had shredded wild rice noodles, a very authentic Chinese food! Will definitely come again if I have the chance😋

I was there at 9:27 p.m. instead of 9:25 p.m. to pick up the to-go item I had already paid for. Nothing was received, everything had already been dismantled. I had already made a reservation for lunch. Seems like it's not the first time people haven't received their orders here.

More than disappointed, we ordered there and yes, the food was suddenly dry and nothing tasted the pasta from the frames were completely normal pasta, which we didn't expect because we used to always shop there at to go, we thought and we knew only good quality well that's changed now we won't order there anymore no recommendation service wasn't friendly we ordered something to take away and the packaging was really bad without a lid without everything someone else had a bike with it and if you had your child with you it worked not at all because they could hardly transport it we also it's really bad you can hardly transport it no recommendation food was already mentioned dry and limp nothing tasted or wasn't nice it was in the wrong departments so you were disappointed afterwards because you Didn't have what you wanted, food was taken away so that people couldn't get it and you could sell it later even though they weren't allowed to do it. Really no recommendation in the past, not anymore today🤮😡☹️

We arrived at 2:15 p.m. and the buffet was almost empty. My request for a refill was ignored. Everything is already over. Only a few pieces of chicken in curry souse were brought just for me. A shame. But really you had to pay full price. Never again

The portion is large and the taste is good. A whole roast duck with soup and spicy duck rack is enough for two to three people. I think the price is fair. After all, the location, taste and quantity are all here.

We reserved food via “To good to go”. Were there earlier and had something to drink. A waiter, dressed inappropriately in my opinion, in very short, knee-length trousers, said after we had had our drinks for a while, suddenly, you know, that you have to pay for the drinks in cash? We replied, no, how should we know, it doesn't work with a card either, no card payment for less than 10 euros... He should have said that when we ordered. It wasn't noted anywhere either. We barely managed to collect €8.50, but we actually always pay by card. The noise was almost unbearable, nothing against children, but it had the charm of a kindergarten, you almost couldn't speak your own words understand. I wouldn't have wanted to eat in such an atmosphere. When I go out to eat, I want to enjoy it and eat in peace. We wouldn't go there again.

I placed 2 orders through Too Good To Go for pickup on Saturday evening. Pick up time from 9:10 p.m. Order time 7:05 p.m. with my phone number. When I arrived at 9:12 p.m. I was greeted very unfriendly in the front door. Without me being able to absorb anything, I was told: "No To Good To Go today! Generally no To Good To Go on Saturday!" When I pointed out that despite the confirmation email and the telephone number I had given, I had not received any further information that my order could not be carried out, the answer was: "That's right, no To Good To Go today!" Payment had already been made in advance via PayPal. The answer: “Don’t swipe, then you won’t pay anything!” Unfortunately that wasn't true either. The amount was debited and I had to have it transferred back to me. Conclusion: There is no friendliness here. Anyone who treats me like this as a guest will never see me again.

Very nice location and a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the buffet isn't huge in terms of selection, but it's more than sufficient and very tasty. It is refilled regularly and there is something for everyone.

Have been visiting for the lunch buffet so far. Satisfied with the selection and quality. Staff nice and accommodating. Ambiance, the pyramid is unbeatable for my taste.

OK, now it gets difficult... Buffet is ALWAYS a problem, too cold, too dry or simply no longer crispy. But the restaurant has this under control quite well. The dishes are generally too lightly seasoned for me. The Peking duck served at the next table, however, looked excellent - we will try that next time! The biggest problem, however, is the individual architecture - very exciting and beautiful to look at. BUT even the slightest sunlight heats up the glass pyramid mercilessly - unfortunately there is no air conditioning - we will certainly avoid that for the next three months. The service is friendly and fast, you can't complain about that. There are only a few parking spaces; in the evenings, visitors park in the parking spaces of the surrounding offices.

As always, good and tasty food. The only drawback today was that everything looked a bit empty. Fresh food was available upon request.

We ate there at 8:30 p.m. and at 9:15 p.m. the waiters asked if we wanted to eat anything else, otherwise they would clear out the place. The buffet had already been grazed and there was hardly anything edible there.

Buffet of extremely poor quality and limited selection. Given the location, more was expected. Ambience good. The quality offered in combination with the quantity seems to be aimed only at the maintenance of the owner's S-Class and guest satisfaction plays a subordinate role. It's a shame...the owner's comments should have warned me...like the food, it's under the weather. Conclusion: For me it's the worst Asian in the whole region and according to the reviews the owner doesn't care!

Never again, service was friendly but didn't ask if you wanted anything else to drink. Then the food was half cold, the buffet was empty and nothing looked appetizing. The buffet was not refilled and upon request something was prepared that didn't taste even remotely good. Had stomach pain after eating. For 2 people buffet and 2 drinks €55.80 is an outrageous price for nothing. I was there in the evening between 7 and 10 p.m

Hello, We were there for dinner with 10 people on Sunday, May 12, 2024. The building itself is impressive, a glass pyramid in the middle of a bit of greenery...plenty of parking spaces available. The food was plentiful (buffet) and, in my opinion, fresh, the staff was very friendly and loved children, although we had to get a vase for a birthday bouquet ourselves, even though we had asked for it at the beginning. So far everything is good.........but: at some point around .....2.30 p.m. an employee started cleaning the glass facade from the outside with a steam jet.....right behind our table!! !! It was very loud and very unpleasant, we all felt like the restaurant wanted to get rid of us...... Dear Ginkgorians, something like that is absolutely not possible!!!!!

We were there at lunchtime on a Saturday, around 1 p.m. The buffet was not refilled, not even when asked. Very unfortunate and disappointing. The selection of vegetarian dishes was very thin. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant at all.

A very rich, tasty and varied buffet. Additionally, unusual specialties freshly prepared from the wok of your choice, such as shrimp, lamb, beef, poultry or kangaroo. Unusual! A large dessert buffet completes the perfect menu. Selected wines and delicious cocktails at very fair prices round off the experience perfectly. The service from the boss and his team is very friendly and accommodating! As regular guests, we enjoy coming to Ginkgo on a regular basis! Thanks!

Delicious food, fast service, a little more choice would have been great.

I can't understand the negative reviews. We have now been to the buffet twice in the evening within 4 weeks. Everything was always there! And if things were in short supply (not empty!), everything was refilled by the second trip to the buffet at the latest. The food is solid buffet food and we all liked it. I would like vegetarian sushi without nori sheets. Unfortunately I don't like anything from the sea, so unfortunately no sushi for me as a starter.

Dubious establishment. First of all, the food and drinks are rather unsuitable for the price/performance in the atmosphere. It's simplest Asian buffet at higher prices. You “can” eat it, but nothing more. Drinks for 4 euros are simply too expensive in this case. The main problem (as you can see from the reactions in the reviews) is the owner. Highly unprofessional answers. Criticism should actually stimulate improvements and it should be in your own interest to satisfy customers. Instead, it is better to keep your distance. What a declaration of bankruptcy across the board. You feel sorry for the employees. So it remains just one visit and there won't be another visit.

None of these good reviews are real customers! Owner doesn't care about hygiene one bit. Food isn't there and if it is, it's cold, there's no choice and even in American prison you're treated better. I don't understand how a non-slingshot like this can stay open.

The roast duck is really average, and the service is hard to say enough. I packed it before I finished eating, and the box cost 1 euro, but it turned out to be 12 euros when I paid! I asked the female boss to verify that she took the receipt directly, so I couldn't send a picture as proof, even though I got the 11 euros back. The reason why I checked the receipt is because this duck costs 78 euros? (My husband and I each have a small beer, and the duck rack to make duck soup costs 15)

Were there around 1:30 p.m. for the buffet. We were warmly welcomed, but we were not told that nothing more would be added. We had to be content with leftovers!! And what's more, the choice of food was very poor. We missed shrimp or other seafood. The sushi corner was empty except for a few vegetable maki's Our opinion: It's not worth the money!

Wir waren Mittags gegen 13 Uhr da. Das Essen war lecker. Die Auswahl war nicht besonders groß, aber das was da war wurde auch wieder aufgefüllt, wenn es leer war und man das Personal drauf hingewiesen hat. Die Teller wurden auch regelmäßig abgeräumt. Mein Highlight war das Sushi, das wirklich sehr lecker geschmeckt hat. Die Speisen sind auch beschriftet, bis auf eine Schüssel die nur mit „Vorspeisen“ beschriftet war, darin waren Kroketten, Chicken, Frühlingsrollen und Tintenfischringe. Auf den Bildern fehlt noch der Schokobrunnen und die gebackene Banane am Dessertabteil, und am Hauptbuffet gibt es noch einen großen Topf mit warmen Klebreis. Die Atmosphäre war sehr nett, allerdings war es nicht besonders voll als wir da waren (was sehr angenehm war). Ein Tipp: bei ToGoodToGo kann man sich beim übrig gebliebenen Buffet bedienen, die Mittagstüte kostet zB 4,50€, ist aber auch schnell ausverkauft (in der App).

I wonder where the positive reviews come from because this store isn't even worth 1 star. Choice of food is a joke. The employees and boss are rude and bold. I've never experienced this anywhere else. It would have been better if I had read the reviews there before visiting, because just how the operator reacts to the negative reviews says a lot about him.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Today we had a buffet which left us with a very high-quality impression. It was all incredibly delicious. Absolutely to suggest. Care was always taken to ensure that nothing was empty or that it was quickly refilled. Price-performance is definitely right. You can't complain about that.

One thing to say, I often come to this place to eat roast duck. The chef is very nice. I ordered a too good to go for the first time today. When I went out, I found that the box was leaking oil. I went in to ask the boss to get a tissue and told me that it was one euro for one. Zhang, I said I come here to eat often, and he also told me that one size equals one size, and that black clothes and white clothes mean blablabla. This language logic is too funny. I can only say that he is not good at business. I will never eat here again, nor will I recommend it to my friends. So funny 🤭

Typischer Asiate. Man geht gerne dort essen. Nur das Sushi ist leider nicht zu empfehlen. Edit: Die Inhaber bieten eine wirklich exzellente Internetpräsenz und gehen sehr ausgefeilt auf viele Rezensionen ein. Sehr amüsant. Dafür muss man den Laden einfach loben.

Sonntagabend ab 19h ist das Buffet nicht mehr wirklich zu empfehlen..es war ziemlich leer geräumt und es wurde nicht mehr nachgelegt. Die frische Wok-Zubereitung hat allerdings gut funktioniert.

Gut auffindbar (Karl-Wiechert-Allee/Misburger Str.) mit bester Verkehrsanbindung (Bahn+Bus/Stat. Misburger Str.+Heidering [Bus 124/127]). Gutes Essen, preiswert. Freundliches und flinkes Personal. Wohltuendes Ambiente. Origineller Glaspyramidenbau.

Wir waren das erste Mal zum Weihnachts-Buffett da. Sehr, sehr lecker, alles frisch zubereitet und auch frisch nachgefüllt. Besonders das Sushi war sehr köstlich. Frischer Lachs, Lammkeule alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Mehr als 3 Sterne sind hier wirklich nicht drin! Diesmal keine Fotos, aber auch ohne Fotos lässt sich ein Eindruck vermitteln. - zwischendurch immer wieder mal nicht am Buffet - geschmacklich 2-3 - Auswahl 2-3 - Service 3 - Preis/Leistungsverhältnis 3 Wenig gute Plätze vorhanden. Am Buffet zu sitzen wo jeder hin und her läuft ist genauso doof wie oben, wo man nur pber eine Wendeltreppe hinkommt. - Grill war zermatscht und wirkte mehr gekocht als gegrillt - Speisen im Teig (ob es Bananen sind oder Garnellen oder Tintenfischringe) sind Gummig. Wiederholungsgefahr Null!

Das war dann heute wohl auch unser letztes Ma(h)l hier! Kenne das Ginkgo noch von früher (vorletzter Besuch vor ca. 5 Jahren), als sowohl der Service als auch das Essen (deutlich) besser waren. Das Essen war in Ordnung (Ente) bis maximal ausreichend (der "Zander" war praktisch nicht vorhanden, da er unter einer dicken Panadeschicht weggekocht wurde), die Sauce praktisch reiner Sirup ohne nennenswerte Aromen. Nun zum Hauptkritikpunkt: Der "Service" hier ist leider absolut unterirdisch. Von der berühmten Gastfreundschaft oder gar Höflichkeit weit und breit keine Spur. Man ist sehr wortkarg, lässt gerne vor der Bestellung, nach der Bestellung und auch wieder vor dem Bezahlen warten (bei mäßig besuchtem Laden und vor allem Buffetangebot!); die an unserer Bestellung unbeteiligte weibliche Bedienung vom Nebentisch war die einzige, die so etwas wie ein Interesse daran gezeigt hat, ob es denn schmecke. Meine Begleitung fragt, ob die Reste eingepackt werden könnten. Darauf kaum ein Nicken, kurz darauf wurde das dann schlicht "vergessen". Als man dann den halbvollen Teller sah, wurde das Essen derart lieblos in den bereit gestellten Plastikbehälter gekippt, dass daran gut die Wertschätzung und Gesamthaltung der Betreiber gegenüber ihrer eigenen Gastronomie und ihren Gästen zum Ausdruck kam. Empfehlung: keine!

Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen, zufriedenstellender Kundenservice. Punktabzug wegen der fehlenden Gastfreundschaft und des unprofessionellen Umgangs mit Kritik. Die Google- Antworten der Geschäftsführung gehen zum Teil gar nicht.

Wir kommen regelmäßig seit vielen Jahren hierher, mittags als schöner Snack nach der City oder auf dem Weg dorthin. Besonders in den Ferien lohnt sich eine Reservierung. Das Buffet wird regelmäßig nachgelegt, bei großen Gruppen ist das logistisch eine echte Herausforderung für die Küche. Abends sind wir gerne zur Pekingente hier (vorher Video gucken, dann ist's einfach). Eddy und sein Team geben Immer alles, um Ihre Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Die Qualität ist für das Buffet gut, die Pekingente ist sehr gut. Die Preise sind angemessen.

In einer Glaspyramide haben wir das Dinner Buffet des Ginko probiert. Sehr schön angerichtet, reichhaltig durch die Küche Asiens geschlemmt. Dabei die Architektur des Gebäudes bewundert. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis angemessen für die Qualität.

Normales Buffet, an der Freundlichkeit ist Luft nach oben...
