Perfect all around, the doner kebab was incredibly delicious. I'd love to come back here again. The staff is very friendly. You absolutely have to try the doner kebab.

It's okay. The bread was too dry (toasted too much) and the salad could be more but other than that it was okay.

Delicious kebab with lots of love

Absolutely amazing! I've tried and eaten so many kebabs in so many different places, and Gidis's Kebab is definitely in my personal top 3. The traditional, toasted, and crispy bread, topped with a generous portion of sesame seeds, is simply a dream. Plus, the very, very fresh and delicious sauces, paired with the crisp salad, are just so perfect. The cherry on top is definitely the juicy and well-seasoned meat. Wow, just wow. Keep up the good work! You have a new regular customer.

This place was awesome! Located an easy 15 minutes walk from the Mannheim station, in a local-style neighborhood. Great chicken doner, a bit more classy than the average doner. Skip the places behind the Marktplatz and try here!!!

The kebab was very tasty. A good size, and the staff was very friendly. The shop itself is like a snack bar and not particularly cozy. It's a bit dark, perhaps. Unfortunately, you can't pay by card.

Taste-wise, one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten.

At lunchtime, the wait is about 10-15 minutes. I ordered a yufka with beef, which was well seasoned and well filled. What bothers me personally is that the staff doesn't wear protective clothing when you sweat so much. Washing your hands more often isn't a bad idea either, otherwise it's okay.

The kebab tastes great. The bread was nice and crispy, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned and the garlic sauce also impressed me 👍 What could be done better: A little more cucumber, tomato and red cabbage would be great. I think a slice of cucumber and half a slice of tomato are a bit too little. As already mentioned, the meat was very tasty, but also very fatty.

The service was quite good, the ordering progressed quickly. The ambience reminds me of an Italian snack bar in the suburbs. I got a beef kebab and it disappointed me. The meat (some mix) didn't taste like anything and the kebab itself tasted like a snack. The chicken skewer looked much better, maybe you could try that.

Das Essen ist ganz ok. Es gibt besseren Döner in Mannheim, aber schlecht ist es nicht, vom Geschmack her gut. Man kann leider nur in bar bezahlen (ich finde das immer wieder fragwürdig). Die Preise sind eher im höheren Bereich. Sitzen kann man leider nicht so gut. Insgesamt ist es ganz ok, am besten nur zum abholen.

Falafel Yufka is very very tasty. Staff are always friendly, even though the work must be very strenuous because it is so hot.

In my opinion and many other people's opinions, one of the best kebabs in Mannheim. Very good veal and if you want he also makes a good spicy sauce with it. Also not overpriced at all. Absolutely worth the €7.50!

I involuntarily ate the chicken kebab because there was no veal kebab at 6.30 p.m.🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ When asked why there was no veal kebab, I was told that he would put the skewer on it later because he had a larger order. So sorry, but if a restaurateur doesn't have a veal kebab on the skewer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening, saying he has a large order, then I don't understand it! Doner kebab was great. It's worth taking a look there. Not that many seats available. You have to be lucky to get a seat otherwise you have to take the food with you.

Danger! Sauce with kebab instead of kebab with sauce So who should and can eat it like that? The contents of the kebab plate swim in a sugar mayo sauce (diabetes inevitable). The nice kebab man probably meant well, but the whole thing should still be edible and not have you vomit from a mayo overdose immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, after a few bites, I felt sick and had to throw away the rest. This kebab plate consisted of 60% sauce, 20% salad, 10% meat and 10% rice. So please, please pay more attention to a more even distribution of your ingredients in the future if you want to save costs! PS: disappointed hungry customer (I went because of the positive reviews, unfortunately it was all just a scam. Never again!!)

I would say you get the best kebab, lahmacun or yufka in all of Mannheim here. Great, a real insider tip... The meat tastes great (the best I've ever eaten) and the ingredients look fresh and it tastes accordingly... Price-performance ratio is great... I would describe it as decent in terms of price - but that's okay because it tastes really good. The staff is friendly, you can tell that the shop is run with love. So I can only recommend it Note/Important to note: - If you want to eat quickly, you should call about 15 minutes in advance as it may take some time due to the popularity and fresh preparation... - The shop is set up more as a snack bar, i.e. there are a few chairs in front of the restaurant, but I don't think it's that suitable for a long stay... (More like Togo) Recommendation: 1x Lahmacun with any sauce (3rd piece) and both types of meat

We were on a long journey through and were in the mood for a tasty, tasty city kebab in Mannheim. Then we stumbled across the best-rated kebab nearby. My girlfriend had Yufka, I had a kebab and it was really, really tasty. A little low in salt but you can add some seasoning yourself 😜 and the quality and attitude of the entire staff cannot be beaten. Gladly again!

One of the best kebab shops for a normal, juicy and quality kebab as you should get it. Meat is juicy and sometimes crunchy. My recommendation is clearly to add feta to the kebab! The price of the kebab is a little more upscale at €7.50 + €1 for feta. But still one of the few with an existing good kebab!

Cheap minced meat kebab with a cheap tortilla wrap from the discount store definitely doesn't make a good kebab. So 8.50 euros is just a disgrace for the quality. Then dear Chef Döner. It's cheaper and of better quality.
