Very friendly, they occasionally give away free drinks. The food tastes very, very good; they don't skimp on the sauce if you want more. The prices are very fair. The döner from the competitor nearby is awful. Unfortunately, I find it very disappointing that the shop sells alcohol, as this makes me doubt whether the meat is truly halal. I hope you take this to heart...

I ordered a doner kebab but didn't have any cash. I got the doner for free and often received free drinks as well. Very kind and very tasty.

I've been eating at Star Döner for 16 years now, and it's still my absolute favorite kebab shop! 🌯 The quality is consistently excellent – ​​the meat is always fresh and juicy, the bread is perfectly baked, and the sauces are simply unbeatable. I especially appreciate the emphasis on cleanliness and friendly service. Whether it's kebab, durum, or lahmacun – everything always tastes great. I've tried many other shops, but Star Döner remains number 1 for me. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves really good kebab!

My first doner box and it was so delicious! Everything was clean and the staff was so friendly.

Unfortunately, not a good experience. My partner wanted to pick something up for us just before closing time—specifically, a doner pizza and a yufka, which are usually on the menu. About 20 minutes before closing, however, he was told that they wouldn't be serving any more food because it was already too late. As a courtesy, they did prepare two yufkas for him... but unfortunately, not what he had actually ordered. The yufka tasted average (not particularly good, but not bad either. And, as mentioned, not what he had wanted). I think that if a shop is open, customers should be able to choose from their regular menu until closing time, or it should be clearly communicated that food is only available until a certain time.

As I unfortunately just had to experience, the owner doesn't value guests. I'm really stunned by what just happened. Been there a lot lately for Pide, which was more or less fine. Today on pizza day I wanted to get a salami pizza with artichokes from him. I wanted to pay immediately and when I put the money down he asked how I got the amount. I replied that it was pizza day and it says pizza day 7.50 euros. Then he seemed stupid to me because he didn't want the pizza he wanted. Which really confused me, as he himself said this on the menu with two additional ingredients. So it was actually an advantage for him because I only wanted 2 ingredients instead of 4 or more. He didn't see it that way and argued in front of all the guests, so I asked for my money and left. I've never really experienced anything like that before, where you're made to feel stupid for it. He could have ordered the most expensive pizza, which would have been a disadvantage for him. So really incredible. Service really catastrophic.

We have been here very often at the Star Döner in Käfertal. We were thrilled with every visit. The kebab is absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned and topped. The only tiny negative on my part is that the bread is unfortunately often much too thin and crispy but that's a matter of taste.. 🥰. We all think the pizza is really tasty. We've been here a few times now and there's never really been any reason to complain etc. I can really recommend getting something to eat here.🙏🙏

I recently visited this kebab shop and I have to say that the value for money is really excellent! The portions are generous and the quality of the kebab is top – fresh, well seasoned and beautifully juicy. The service is also quick and friendly, the staff responds to your wishes and ensures that you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is solid but not exceptional - there is no particular mood or decoration here, which for me puts the store at 3 stars in this area. Overall, definitely recommended, especially for anyone looking for good food at fair prices!

As a Mannheimer you are really spoiled with Turkish cuisine, especially our beloved DÖNER. Even if the name is unspectacular, the dishes are extremely tasty. No matter whether the classics (döner kebab, Yufka & Co), the pizzas or even the filled rolls. Large portions and delicious taste make this snack worth recommending. I had to give the ambience a deduction because it's not really designed for lingering but rather for delivery service. But that doesn't matter at all, in the end the food is so good that I now order here, even though I live on the other side of town.

If you're in the mood for a kebab that's falling apart in half, this is the perfect place for you.

I was there yesterday. However, I now have heartburn, bloating and feel really bad. The meat was really not good at all, hence the name rotisserie. The only good thing was the bread and the nice seller. Unfortunately the meat isn't that good, it was far too light and didn't seem well cooked.

Went there for the first time and the seller put his heart and soul into it, which you can tell from his demeanor, the general mood and very much from the food. Very nice quality and appearance!

Super friendly staff and good food. The only reason I only gave the food 4 stars (5 overall though), is because they only offer chicken meat and no lamb. I really miss the good old lamb Döner. I had the Rollo Döner, my sister the Döner Teller and my nephew had the Lahmacun with Döner meat. We also shared an order of fries. Everything tasted great and the portion sizes are excellent. Price/value is on the spot. Will definitely come back for more. P.S.: I love the two dishes on the counter with the crushed pepper spices, the milder one says "women's spices" and the more spicy one says "men's spices".😂 Love the humor.

Bester Döner in Mannheim! Ich habe seit Jahren keinen so guten Döner gegessen! Beste Soße und super lecker gewürztes Fleisch. Das Brot wird selbst gemacht und den Unterschied schmeckt man. Super täglich wechselnde Angebote.

Alles bestens ,hier schmeckt alles super und wird frisch zubereitet . Es ist sauber und die Mitarbeiter freundlich . Wir kommen immer wieder gerne .

Super leckerer Döner! Ich komme super gerne hier her. Das Personal ist super lieb und der Döner ist mit Abstand der Beste im Mannheimer Norden! Jeden Tag gibt es ein anderes Special, die dann etwas günstiger sind als normal.

Leider hat das Fleisch die letzten Monate sehr nach gelassen. Das passiert wenn man für den typisch geizigen deutschen Kunden die Preise hallten will und dann minderwertige Qualität verkauft. Meistens fettig, weich und relativ geschmacklos. Echt schade da der Döner bis vor ein paar Monaten absolut TOP war, selbst gemachtes Brot, Salat immer frisch und geschmacklich allgemein sehr gut.
