Great location that is decorated very cool. Nice staff, which seemed slightly overwhelmed as every table was occupied. We waited over 70 minutes for our food. The food was good and solid. The vegetables are a bit too fatty/oily. I can't recommend the gyro. Has nothing to do with the classic gyros.

A really cool and unusually furnished location for my taste. That's where the enjoyment begins. We continued with the starter, simply delicious. Actually designed for 2-3 people, it also filled the 4 of us well. So we didn't quite finish the main courses. Duroc Tomahawk also impressed, but unfortunately not the gyro dishes.

We didn't let the bad reviews put us off and had a great evening! The food was first class. The portions were so large that we (the day before yesterday, seven of us) didn't have to worry about lunch the next day. :) We really enjoyed the red house wine. We'll be back. Ευχαριστώ

Dear Taste Traffic Team, The atmosphere in your restaurant is really great – modern and inviting. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired upon entering. We were served by a waitress who apparently had a cold, who was later left alone and was visibly overwhelmed. Our appetizer platter tasted good. However, we had a problem with the main course, a gyro: we immediately noticed the sour, unpleasant taste, which we initially attributed to the sauce. Unfortunately, two people experienced stomach problems and vomiting a few hours later. Both had the same food other than the gyro as the third person who had no complaints. We would like to ask you to check the quality and storage of your food so that something like this can be avoided in the future.

It's no exaggeration to say that I haven't eaten so well in a long time. It's not "classic" Greek and costs a few marks more, but it's really top notch in terms of quality and appearance! We were dining upstairs with a large group for a Christmas party. Unfortunately, a lot of points didn't fit: 1. We were served by three conditions (two young women + female boss). Unfortunately, all three of them weren't very friendly and we had the feeling we were being a nuisance. One young woman in particular was very unpleasant and had no desire or idea about her job. When we ordered something that was on the menu, she said she didn't know what it was and that they didn't have anything like that. She got really angry and said someone else should take the order and just left. 2. In addition, something was always forgotten when ordering drinks, so we had to wait a long time for our drinks or even drinks didn't come at all (even after asking several times). The drinks were still on the bill… 3. Shortly before the end of the evening we noticed a mouse in the hall... this was the highlight of the evening and made us leave quickly. When we asked the boss about it, he wasn't surprised. I think this happens more often... 4. The food itself was okay. However, the next day, 5 out of 12 people woke up with gastrointestinal problems. One can only speculate now whether there is a connection... In summary, we would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Alles war einfach PERFEKT! Ausgezeichnete Küche, Aufmerksamer, freundlicher, Angenehmer und Zeitlich auf unsere Bedürfnisse Angepasster Service Der jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablas. Sich diskret zurückzog aber sofort präsent war Um das Menü auf Wunsch zu erweitern. Das Sofa wurde ohne Aufforderung so gerückt, dass man auch mit etwas kürzeren Beinen bequem am Dem wunderschönen,künstlerisch gestaltetenTisch speisen konnte. Als am Ende des Hauptganges 2 weitere Gäste dazukamen, wurde sofort gefragt , ob man noch 1 bis 2 Stühle am Tisch haben möchte. Auf Bejahen wurden sie sofort bereitgestellt. Das Licht wurde der Tageszeit entspre hent per Hand an u serem Platz reguliert. Das Ambiente des gesamten Restaurants ist für Gießen außergewöhnlich und hat Grosstadtniveo. Das Essen ist exzellent, frisch,vielseitig,sehr schmackhaft und gesund. Der Preis ist für das was das Restaurant bietet mehr als angemessen. Für mich und meine Freunde das beste griechische Restaurant in Gießen ! Ich werde jederzeit wieder mit Freude Gäste dorthin einladen. Ein Unvergessliches Erlebnis sich dort für ein paar Stunden rundum verwöhnen zu lassen. Ich danke dem Besitzer für dieses gelungene Projekt ! Und natürlich für die Proffessionelle und freundliche Servicekraft am 24.11 !!

Eine absoluter Katastrophe! Meine Meinung nach, wurde das Essen (Steak) aufgewärmt. Auch die Kartoffelecken schienen aufgewärmt zu sein. Der Kellner hat erstmal den falschen Wein gebracht und während wir gegessen haben, ist der Stuhl meiner Frau zusammengebrochen. Sie wiegt aber nur 55kg. Dieses Restaurant hat einfach keine Zukunft, weil der Kundschaft nur veräppelt wird. Nie wieder!

So far I've eaten here three times a year and the quality has decreased significantly. Starting with the prices, which are well above average in the area, I would also expect an ambience to match. Unfortunately, this is not the case due to the following points. In summer I don't recommend sitting inside, especially in the lower area it is extremely warm. Even in winter, temperatures are sometimes elevated because the kitchen is on the ground floor. That doesn't mean putting on too much weight, but that would also be easy to take into account. Furthermore, you always have to ask the service staff several times if you need food or drinks. They are totally overwhelmed and also mess up drinks and dishes. During a visit, a table outside was reserved. We had to ask several times for a table inside and were confirmed that there was one available inside and that they were preparing the table. After 20 minutes under an umbrella that didn't protect all the tables from the rain and with a view of an free (unreserved) table inside, we decided to ask one last time and otherwise leave on our own. Now the dishes were served to us outside and when we refused and went inside, we were also supported by the waitress. This situation was not only unpleasant but the food also sat around longer because we had to change tables right then. In fact, we weren't the first to have the problem, as our table neighbors confirmed. Additionally, and this is the worst case scenario: on the last visit with a larger group, my piece of meat fell onto the delivery counter in the meat tower that they always make on the Greek plates. The waitress put the meat back on the tower with her bare hands and wanted to serve it to me. (we had a direct view of the handover counter) I didn't want to do an outline at first because we were a larger group, but I decided to talk anyway. When I asked you about it, you said I was getting a new dish. After 10 minutes (I waited 30 minutes for the first dish) the plate came again with the piece of meat in question, which was now done, even though I had ordered medium. You can imagine for yourself what happened. The food is delicious but is not worth the price/performance ratio. I prefer to go to the Greek competition around the corner, they don't forget the ouzo at the end :)

Simply a good restaurant. Right in the middle of the city center, so you have enough games, fun and excitement right under your nose :) The food was very stylishly prepared and all dishes tasted very good. The appetizer platter is highly recommended. Recommendation and gladly again.

The atmosphere is nice, the service is friendly. I found the portions to be rather small for the price. The food is beautifully presented and decorated, which certainly justifies the high prices. I would recommend the restaurant if you just want to go out for an expensive meal, but there are plenty of good alternatives nearby for just as delicious and much more sumptuous food. In the end, the waitress seemed a bit angry that I didn't give a tip. But I think that the half potato with the small piece of meat was quite well paid for at 25 euros.

I had the pleasure of eating at Taste Traffic restaurant today and all I can say is that it was an excellent experience! I ordered a beef skewer with vegetables and it was simply delicious. It's definitely one of the best restaurants I've eaten at recently. As a showman, I travel often and visit many different restaurants, but Taste Traffic really deserves its name. The quality of the food and service were first class. I highly recommend this restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wir bestellten das klassische Gyros und ein großes Pils. Meine Frau bestellte den griechischen Salat. Das Bier kam und es war kalt, ein Plus für mich. Der griechische Salat meiner Frau bestand aus großen Tomaten, einer kleinen Scheibe roter Zwiebel und einem Stück Freta-Käse. Als Beilage gab es ein Salatdressing. Meine Frau goss das Dressing über den Salat und begann ihn zu essen. Sie sagte der Kellnerin, es schmecke fettig. Sie nahmen es mit nach Hause. Kam mit einem anderen Salat zurück. Diesmal probierte sie das Salatdressing. Es war nur Öl. Die Kellnerin sagte, es sei Olivenöl. Wir gossen das Öl auf einen Teller und es sah gelb statt grün aus. Wir sagten ihr, dass das Dressing neben dem Öl auch Essig enthalten sollte. Sie sagte, dass authentischer griechischer Salat Essig enthält. Meine Frau sagte, es sei kein Olivenöl, weil es gelb wie Sonnenblumenöl war, die Kellnerin ging und brachte eine 2-Euro-Plastikflasche Olivenöl mit türkischer Aufschrift an den Tisch, um zu beweisen, dass es Olivenöl war. Olivenöl ist grünlich und schmeckt nach Oliven. Meine Frau bat um eine Schachtel zum Mitnehmen, um das Dressing zu machen, als wir nach Hause kamen, ließ aber den Salat dastehen. Wir zahlten die Rechnung und gingen. Die ersten beiden Bilder zeigen das Essen, das wir bekommen haben. Das nächste zeigt, wie ein griechischer Salat aussehen soll. Die Leute sollten für Mist bezahlen müssen. Gehen Sie vielleicht auf ein Getränk und nicht aufs Essen.

Ambiance is really nice. Drinks are okay. Unfortunately the food was nothing. Chicken was cheap frozen and the sweet potatoes tasted artificial. As much disgusting sauce and oil as is spread over the food, I think the chef is aware that it doesn't taste good. A pity

A completely exaggeratedly decorated restaurant whose appearance belies everything you can imagine. The guest room on the upper floor is completely overheated. Opening a window is almost impossible. The service is incredibly slow and not particularly friendly. Glasses of drinks that were empty at 7:30 p.m. were still on the table at 10 p.m. Hardly anyone comes to the table. The prices are high, the quality of the food is unfortunately poor - even if it is very nicely presented. The portions are small and spices are used sparingly. My flesh had all sorts of burnt spots. I still thought waiting another 1.5 hours was the greater evil. A large appetizer platter looks great, but it's not worth the money. Optics are everything here, as long as you don't look too closely.

So I work in Nidda and live in the Rhineland. How I came to these Greeks... At work I asked a Greek guy who recommended this Greek restaurant to me. So I went there. There wasn't much going on at lunchtime. But I felt comfortable inside. So now my hunger had to be satisfied. So I ordered tzatziki with bread. I had THAT bread toasted. I got it back soaked in olive oil. It was totally delicious. With one of the best tzatziki I had eaten. Wow. I ordered saganaki. Also totally delicious. Unfortunately the portion was small. But super crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. A delight. For the main course I had the normal grill plate. Arranged on a slate plate. Very nice. Almost everything was fine. The two colorful sauces that I had on the plate looked nice. But unfortunately I didn't fall off the chair. I would have preferred this tzatziki. And the Suflaki is difficult to make. It was too dry for me without tzatziki. But the rest was delicious. I'm sorry for the one star. But I'll come back and then I'll order the menu so that it will easily be 5 stars. The only thing that works here is the ambience and I think that's the only reason why the store is still busy. The food was nicely prepared, but the taste was just okay. The worst thing was the service, overwhelmed, inattentive and an older lady who was clearing up took some of the plates that we were still eating from under our noses today. Outrageous! Reordering of bread and drinks was a disaster. No children's meals on the menu, etc., etc. This adds up to some negative points. The worst store so far in Giessen.

Since my reviews have been read very often and my pictures have been viewed over 250,000 times, I thought it was time for an update. So we were there at the end of November for our anniversary and were certainly not disappointed. Absolutely worth a visit ;-) Pictures show antipasti, grill plate Aura and Lukulus (baby calamari - a dream)

Ambiente decorativo excecional foi uma absoluta surpresa! Boa comida e simpatia no atendimento. Apenas uma funcionária falava inglês em três que nos atenderam, mas todas sempre com muita cortesia. Local ideal para quem está de passagem por Gießen!

Originelles Ambiente. Dafür lohnt es sich allemal, auch wenn das Essen für griechische Küche schon hochpreisig (aber gut!) ist.

Den zweiten Stern gibt es nur, weil ich weiß, dass sie es besser können. Wir waren vor einiger Zeit dort. Ich hatte die Fischplatte mit anderen Zutaten bestellt wie in der Karte stand. Ich bekam schlechten Fisch serviert. Der Fisch hat so stark gestunken, dass hätte man in der Küche schon riechen müssen. Alle die mit an meinen Tisch saßen fanden den Geruch unerträglich! Mein Teller wurde sofort zurück genommen, kurz darauf bekam ich eine Entschuldigung von der Chefin und bekam einen neuen Teller. Leider war dieser dann nicht mehr so wie eigentlich bestellt. Ich bekam weder einen Rabatt noch ein Café oder Ähnliches aufs Haus zur Entschädigung angeboten. Mir geht’s hier nicht drum, etwas umsonst zu bekommen, aber die Gestik zählt hier in meinen Augen. Hinzukommt, dass ich diese bunten Soßen auf dem Teller die wirklich zu JEDEM Gericht auf dem Teller serviert werden, nicht schmecken. Macht auf auch einfach keinen Sinn diese zu absolut jedem Gericht auf den Teller zu schmieren.

Unser erster Besuch aber eine Kollegin hat es schon oft empfohlen und gelobt.Dieser Meinung können wir uns jetzt anschließen. Nicht nur die Atmosphäre,auch das Essen und der Service waren absolut gigantisch. Die Portionen sind genau richtig,das Essen ist bildhübsch angerichtet und schmeckt so lecker!! Unsere Bedienung war super lieb und höflich. Wir haben eine Vorspeise bestellt und kurz nachdem wir fertig waren wurde promt abgeräumt und die Hauptspeisen kamen.Alles einfach nur Spitzenklasse! Wir waren/sind begeistert!☺️

Erst ein mal vor ab die Optische Präsentation ist schon mal Mega und erfrischend neue und ungewöhnlich zumindest für mich ! Dies hat mir schon mal sehr gut gefallen und dementsprechend wurden mein Erwartungen hoch geschraubt. In der Vorspeise wurde ich nicht enttäuscht, diese hat sehr gut geschmeckt und war reichhaltigen! Nun das große ABER leider hat mich der Hauptmann Gyros mit Calamaretti nicht abgeholt, das Gyros war für meinen Geschmack zu fett und knorpellig und die Calamaretti für mich nur Tiefkühlwahre. Aber Ok. Nun aber von einem meiner Geste musste das Essen, die Hähnchenbrust zurück gegeben werden da sie, ich drück mich Höflich aus nicht mehr gerade Frisch gerochen hat. Diese wurde wiederwillens zurückgenommen, aber das selbe Stück Fleisch (man konnte es an dem Abschnitt und dem alten Grillmuster erkenne) erneut etwas neu angeordnet überreicht. Dieses mal hat es nach Schweinebraten gerochen. Bei einem anderen Gast von mir hat die Brust nur extrem nach Zitrone geschmeckt. Zum Personal freundlich aber nicht sehr motiviert und eher mit sich selbst beschäftigt (konnten man auf der Treppe über ein Spiegel beobachten). Was negativ aufgefallen ist waren die doch nicht gerade sauberen Toiletten und das Waschbecke das Wasser verloren hat auf der Damentoilette.

Mal wieder fantastische Dorade gegessen....guten Wein getrunken und professionelle Bedingung ( Chefin) gehabt! Nachwuchs hinkt bisschen hinterher. Wunderschönes kreatives Ambiente...
