Update January 2025: The renovation and redesign of the back room was well done, very nice. The food was excellent with friendly service. Unfortunately we no longer deliver, but ordering and picking up is still possible. 2023: Today the big program again, simply delicious. Good service, delicious wine, a nice tap and excellent food let you enjoy the evening (or even lunch "to go" in the office. We often sit for a beer in the cuckoo's nest across the street, and when we get a little hungry, Restaurant Georgos also delivers across the street.👍

Moussaka was average at best. Can't be compared with Greece. Unfortunately, the waiter was also completely overwhelmed.

Even though we had pre-ordered, we had to wait over an hour for the food. When it came, some of it wasn't what was ordered and some of the food was completely missing. It then took another half hour for it to be delivered. I won't go there anymore.

I love the food here. All the employees are also super friendly. You can still eat cheaply and deliciously here.

We always order here to pick up for family celebrations. So far we have only had good experiences! The food was always delicious, warm and well packaged. Nothing was ever forgotten and the pick-up times were always adhered to. We would be happy to order again! P.S. Sitting there is also very nice.

The staff is very friendly and attentive even when it is full. The portions are reasonable and the price-performance ratio is definitely right. Now, after the great renovation of part of the restaurant, you can see where the journey is headed. Everything I've ordered here so far has been really tasty. Even if Georgos doesn't claim to be a pizzeria, the pizza is better than many pizzerias. The Mediterranean cuisine is definitely highly recommended, especially Adana & Köfte are freshly prepared according to the house style. Really delicious.

Been to this restaurant a number of times, and normally I was quite satisfied. Afterwards it happened more often that we had to wait a little longer, but tonight I was not happy with this restaurant because of the long waiting time. We made a reservation at 7:00 PM and ordered within a few minutes. We ordered a starter and had to wait about 1.5 to 2 hours. In the end we didn't get a starter and got the main course straight away. We asked what happened to the starter, but they pretended it had been forgotten and we didn't hear anything about it after that. What was striking was that other customers (who had only arrived later) were helped first. They were also busy with takeaway orders, which caused the service to drop significantly. It's a shame that it had to go this way because we liked coming to this restaurant, but waiting almost 2 hours for food is too long.

Waiting an hour and a half for your food, while watching others being served, is simply too long on a quiet evening. And also quite frustrating! It seems the restaurant is busier with take-away orders... Sometimes waiting is just part of it, but then it's nice if the restaurant doesn't forget your starter so you don't starve! Shame! This cannot be the intention. There is nothing to criticize about the price-quality ratio in terms of food; the portions are good for what you pay.

It's great if you move for Christmas, don't have a kitchen and then have a place like this. Nice staff, excellent food and great value for money. Gladly again and again.

A restraunt that I would like to come back to, I have been there 4 times so far, I also enjoyed going there with my guests and were very satisfied every time. For people who like to eat lamb, I definitely recommend trying the lamb knuckle, it is simply delicious 🤤 Sher pleasant, tasty food, very very nice condition, attentive, fast. I am very happy to recommend this restraunt

We didn't have much time to eat out and only ordered a main course. Restaurant looked very nice and the decor was beautiful. Main course was delicious and ready on time. Service was good and welcoming. We will come again soon for a more extensive dinner!

Great price-performance ratio! We can recommend it 100%. No matter what on the menu, everything is top, tasty and fresh! Nothing is warmed up. You can also park a little further away or take public transport. Definitely worth it! A must for us at least once a week! Baklava on the house 😋. Great family atmosphere.

Don't pay attention to the Greek name, these are the royal Turkish dishes you know. His master is also Turkish. We ate lamb shank, ali gentle and sautéed lamb. Be sure to try the legendary lamb shank. It is much more delicious than I expected. Thank you

Tasty food, affordable, friendly staff!

We were there spontaneously for dinner with three adults and three children (3-6 years old) in the evening during the week. The waiter is very nice and attentive and is good with children and very patient. The quality of the food is simply great, there's nothing to complain about. The prices are okay. There is Efes beer on tap. We were very satisfied - a clear recommendation from us

The catering for our civil wedding was very good! The meat was tender and wonderfully seasoned, the vegetables cooked perfectly, and the dips rounded everything out. The order was uncomplicated and the team was very friendly. We can definitely recommend it! Thanks. :)

Our first visit. Great food! I have never eaten such a wonderful trout salad before! The cook brings you the food with a laugh because she probably knows that you will taste it damn good :-))) I can also highly recommend the Turkish Cankaya white wine. All in all, we'll happily go back!

Well, you shouldn't get stuck in the past when it comes to this restaurant. The times are over. Otherwise, solid cuisine and very friendly service. I hope you stay.

Great restsurant, very tasty food, large portions. The lamb dishes are excellent. As always, we were warmly served and would love to come back.

We ordered a pidde, a salmon salad and 2 pizzas. The pizzas are passable. The pidde is not good and way too expensive. The salad is a disaster! And also way too expensive. The service leaves something to be desired. The waitress expresses her displeasure when I tell her that I want to pay by card and clearly tells me that it would have been better in cash.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal hier und waren begeistert. Das Essen war top, als Küchengruß gab es einen kleinen Salat mit leckerem Dressing, die Hauptspeisen waren frisch und schmackhaft, die Portionen wirklich groß, die Preise nur knapp über Imbissniveau. Ehrliches gutes Essen ohne Fertigprodukte. Ich bin sonst selten zufrieden in Restaurants, aber das war echt ein Highlight. Ich hatte die Lammhaxe mit Bulgur als Beilage. Absolute Empfehlung. Zum Nachtisch gab es Baklava aufs Haus. Das beste Baklava das ich je gegessen habe. Das Ambiente ist etwas eighties und in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ordentlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren zu viert und haben uns alle für verschiedene Lammgerichte entschieden - allesamt empfehlenswert! Dazu der sympathische Service - wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Georgos ist ein griechisches Restaurant. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und sehr lecker. Freundliches Personal. Preiswert. Die Portionsgrössen sind riesig, nichts für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch. Ich hatte eine Linsensuppe und das Tavuk-Sote. Das Ambiente ist für meinen Geschmack etwas altbacken und zu dunkel. Trotzdem komme ich gerne wieder zurück.

Sehr leckeres Gyros. Nicht zu vergleichen mit den Buden…Schneller Service. Absolut empfehlenswert

Solides griechisches Restaurant mit aufmerksamen Servicepersonal. Hat einen Touch von Imbissbude mit dem vorgelagerten Spießgrill, ist aber alles in allem gemütlich. Eine Empfehlung.

Wir haben 2 Stunden gewartet und sind ohne essen nach Hause gegangen!!! Es hat 2 Stunden gedauert und unser Essen wurde nicht einmal zubereitet! Ich würde keine Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. Man könnte wenigstens Bescheid sagen dass man Stunden lang auf sein Essen wartet. Bei Nachfrage wurde nur gesagt dass man nicht weiß wie lange es noch dauert….

Man bekommt hier zu einem wirklich guten Preis leckeres Essen. Sehr klassisch und ungezwungen, ich fand die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Für Leute die für einen guten Preis die (für deutsche) klassischen griechischen Gerichte essen wollen, genau das richtige. Die zwei Jungs die uns bedient haben waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Schmackhaftes Essen mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Koch hat sich persönlich erkundigt, ob es uns geschmeckt hat. Zum Nachtisch gab es noch Baklava.

Plats gargantuesques (mais bon) et personnel très sympathique

Lamm ist sehr gut. Auch die Beilagen Rice schmeckt gut. Die Personen und Chef sind sehr freundlich.

Richtig leckeres Essen aber wir mussten über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten und es kam nicht alles, was wir bestellt hatten.

Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und flexibel. Die Speisen und Getränke waren in Ordnung, allerdings waren die Lammloteletts recht zäh. Das Gyros erinnerte eher an Döner Kebap, schmeckte aber. Die türkischen Oliven und der türkische Wein waren sehr ordentlich. Die Lokalität war eher renovierungsbedürftig und hatte wenig Ausstrahlung. Insgesamt hat mich das Konzept eines griechischen Lokals mit türkischen Inhabern wenig überzeugt. Man kann hier gut und günstig essen, aber ich werde glaube ich nicht wiederkommen.

Die Besitzer sind bemüht und stets flott am Tisch für etwaige Wünsche; Essen ist gut und preislich in Ordnung! Atmosphäre ok. Aber insgesamt etwas veraltet. Insgesamt würde ich 3,5 Sterne geben (geht ja leider nicht) und ja ich würde auch ein zweites Mal hier essen gehen!

Wir kommen regelmässig und gern! Sehr leckeres Essen mit frischen Zutaten - der Chef kocht selbst. Nette persönliche Atmosphäre, vor allem nicht so überfüllt und laut wie in den meisten Lokalen in der Pontstrasse. Wir finden es gar nicht ungemütlich, die Einrichtung ist rustikal und völlig in Ordnung. Wer einen Schickimicki-Laden sucht geht sowieso woanders hin. Hoffentlich bleibt uns das Georgos noch viele Jahre erhalten!

Sehr schöner Laden, auf der Karte finden sich viele tolle Gerichte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht sich um das Wohl des Kunden. Auch Extrawünsche konnten erfüllt werden. Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionsgrößen sind gut. Preis-leistungsverhältnis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Ich würde jeder Zeit wieder vorbeikommen, wenn ich mal wieder auf der Ecke sein sollte...

Gemütlich war es nicht gerade, Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es sollen wohl in Zukunft Renovierungen anstehen. Aber das Wichtigste war ja das Essen und das war richtig lecker. Deshalb würde ich auch gerne wieder kommen.

Der Service war sehr nett und die Portionen sind groß, aber das war es leider auch schon. Man sitzt an kalten Marmortischen, die Lampen über dem Tisch strahlen wie Scheinwerfern, an einer Seite des Restaurants türmen sich durchsichtige Kunststoffbehälter mit irgendeinem Kram und es war eiskalt im gesamten Restaurant. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist lieblos und kalt. Das Essen war mittelmäßig und ebenso lieblos, wie der Laden. Schade. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder. Edit: ich habe mir die Rezensionen nochmal angeschaut. Entweder waren wir im falschen Laden (glaube ich eigentlich nicht) oder der Koch oder wir hatten einen schlechten Tag. Ach ja: die Pommes waren super.

Das kleine Restaurant ist in der Küche von hohem Niveau. Hier erlebt man eine Sauwohl Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank Weiterso. Antje und Michael sind hochzufrieden.
