Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Lammgerichte waren sehr gut angerichtet und köstlich, ein Highlight in der Gastronomie wenn man Lammgerichte liebt. Aber auch das bestellte überbackene Gyros war richtig gut! Ein wirklich gutes griechisches Restaurant nachdem Insel Rhodos geschlossen hat!

Der Service war hervorragend. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war köstlich, besonders das argentinische Steak. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Der jetzige Inhaber hat den Georgos zum Leben wieder erweckt ich kannte Georgos vor ueber 35 Jahren schoen das es wieder so ist wie früher da hab ich das erste Mal als Jugendlicher die griechische und tuerkiche erlebt war der Hammer! Heute nach ueber 35 Jahren wieder genauso schoen wie damals

Das Gyros hier ist wirklich lecker, die Dritten kross, der Salat frisch und knackig. Alles ist hübsch angerichtet und schmeckt einfach richtig gut. Leider liegt dieses griechische Restaurant etwas abseits der üblichen Wege, sodass es nicht die Aufmerksamkeit bekommt die es verdient. Ein Besuch lohnt sich jedoch. Komme immer wieder gerne her. :)

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig hierher und sind jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist durchweg hervorragend, sowohl geschmacklich als auch qualitativ auf sehr hohem Niveau. Im Winter war es gelegentlich etwas kühl im Gastraum, daher ein Stern Abzug beim Ambiente. Ansonsten fühlen wir uns hier aber immer sehr wohl. Besonders schön ist, dass Stammkundschaft hier noch geschätzt wird. Zwischendurch gibt es auch mal eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit aufs Haus, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Die Preise wurden inzwischen auf ein übliches Niveau angepasst. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants sind die Portionen jedoch weder kleiner noch die Qualität schlechter geworden. Die Qualität ist unverändert sehr hoch, sodass die Preisanpassung für uns absolut nachvollziehbar ist.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Essen war hervorragend!

Sehr leckere authentische Speisen. Gyros war hervorragend, genau wie die in Knoblauch eingelegten Garnelen. Bei den Plätzen direkt am Ausgang der Küche riecht es jedoch etwas intensiv.

Abends da gewesen und sehr voll gewesen, daher ca. eine Stunde aufs Essen gewartet. Allgemein auch eher länger gewartet bis man eine Karte und Getränke bekommen hat. Das Essen kam dann auch nur lauwarm an, war allerdings geschmacklich in Ordnung. Service-Kräfte an sich freundlich, allerdings wurde uns am Ende kein Absacker angeboten, obwohl dies bei allen Nachbar-Tischen vorher so gehandhabt wurde. Allgemein daher nur ok

Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich

Super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service! Und selten so gut griechisch gegessen. Das Gyros und die Köfte waren super "knusprig" und bestens gewürzt. Perfekte Portion zum Sattwerden (mit kleinem Vorspeisensalat), ohne "Fleischberge" auf dem Teller. Und due Rechnung hat uns auch positiv überrascht. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Aachen sind!

Das Essen ist immer sehr sehr lecker und frisch gemacht :) wir kommen immer sehr gern her.

Leckere Vorspeisenplatte genossen. Iskender Köfte und Gyrosplatte mit Lammspieß und Adana waren der Hammer. Mit Grillpaprika, Grilltomaten Ezme und Cacik. Die Soße beim Iskender einfach köstlich. Die Köfte toll gewürzt. Lammspieß war sehr zart. Die Pommes super knusprig. Bedienung sehr freundlich und auf Zack... Einzig mehr Knoblauch hätten wir uns gewünscht. Was natürlich Geschmackssache ist. Leider kann ich nur noch ein Foto mit leer gegessenen Tellern beifügen... War einfach zu lecker. 😂

Nice Greek restaurant in the heart of Aachen. The food is spectacular, specially the gyros dishes. Do not forget the feta cheese, a Greta highlight. The only backdraw would be the long waiting time for your food to be served.

The food is VERY tasty and the service is VERY friendly and attentive.

The restaurant doesn't exactly ooze charm, but if you're looking for tasty food on a budget, this is the place to be. They use convenience products, but they're nicely presented. The portion, along with the delicious bread, was very generous.

I was confused. I went to the restaurant and wanted to order some Greek food, but the waiter told me that this is not a Greek restaurant, but a Turkish restaurant. So where did the Greek label come from?

Very tasty gyro. I highly recommend it. I had the gyro plate and haven't had a better one for that price. The salad that came with it was also very tasty! The only thing that could be improved would be the amount of sauce. It was a bit small for me personally. Still, it was excellent and I'll be back!

Horrible service. 45 minutes waiting for drinks. The waiter spent the entire 45 minutes cleaning up behind the bar, saying he didn't have enough glasses. After 45 minutes of patience, I asked for the manager, and suddenly, they brought me glasses. Completely ridiculous. The food was very tasty, though.

So, as a kid, I've often been here with my parents and now, after ages, I've eaten there with my girls. The atmosphere is a bit old but still very cozy and rustic. Very tasty food, extremely friendly service... it wasn't my last visit 😊

I've known this restaurant since 1982 and have now returned after about 35 years. Very friendly service, delicious food, and, in my opinion, good value for money. I'll definitely be back again this year!

The staff is very friendly and attentive even when it is full. The portions are reasonable and the price-performance ratio is definitely right. Now, after the great renovation of part of the restaurant, you can see where the journey is headed. Everything I've ordered here so far has been really tasty. Even if Georgos doesn't claim to be a pizzeria, the pizza is better than many pizzerias. The Mediterranean cuisine is definitely highly recommended, especially Adana & Köfte are freshly prepared according to the house style. Really delicious.

Update January 2025: The renovation and redesign of the back room was well done, very nice. The food was excellent with friendly service. Unfortunately we no longer deliver, but ordering and picking up is still possible. 2023: Today the big program again, simply delicious. Good service, delicious wine, a nice tap and excellent food let you enjoy the evening (or even lunch "to go" in the office. We often sit for a beer in the cuckoo's nest across the street, and when we get a little hungry, Restaurant Georgos also delivers across the street.👍

Moussaka was average at best. Can't be compared with Greece. Unfortunately, the waiter was also completely overwhelmed.

Even though we had pre-ordered, we had to wait over an hour for the food. When it came, some of it wasn't what was ordered and some of the food was completely missing. It then took another half hour for it to be delivered. I won't go there anymore.

I love the food here. All the employees are also super friendly. You can still eat cheaply and deliciously here.

We always order here to pick up for family celebrations. So far we have only had good experiences! The food was always delicious, warm and well packaged. Nothing was ever forgotten and the pick-up times were always adhered to. We would be happy to order again! P.S. Sitting there is also very nice.

Been to this restaurant a number of times, and normally I was quite satisfied. Afterwards it happened more often that we had to wait a little longer, but tonight I was not happy with this restaurant because of the long waiting time. We made a reservation at 7:00 PM and ordered within a few minutes. We ordered a starter and had to wait about 1.5 to 2 hours. In the end we didn't get a starter and got the main course straight away. We asked what happened to the starter, but they pretended it had been forgotten and we didn't hear anything about it after that. What was striking was that other customers (who had only arrived later) were helped first. They were also busy with takeaway orders, which caused the service to drop significantly. It's a shame that it had to go this way because we liked coming to this restaurant, but waiting almost 2 hours for food is too long.

It's great if you move for Christmas, don't have a kitchen and then have a place like this. Nice staff, excellent food and great value for money. Gladly again and again.

Waiting an hour and a half for your food, while watching others being served, is simply too long on a quiet evening. And also quite frustrating! It seems the restaurant is busier with take-away orders... Sometimes waiting is just part of it, but then it's nice if the restaurant doesn't forget your starter so you don't starve! Shame! This cannot be the intention. There is nothing to criticize about the price-quality ratio in terms of food; the portions are good for what you pay.

A restraunt that I would like to come back to, I have been there 4 times so far, I also enjoyed going there with my guests and were very satisfied every time. For people who like to eat lamb, I definitely recommend trying the lamb knuckle, it is simply delicious 🤤 Sher pleasant, tasty food, very very nice condition, attentive, fast. I am very happy to recommend this restraunt

We didn't have much time to eat out and only ordered a main course. Restaurant looked very nice and the decor was beautiful. Main course was delicious and ready on time. Service was good and welcoming. We will come again soon for a more extensive dinner!

Great price-performance ratio! We can recommend it 100%. No matter what on the menu, everything is top, tasty and fresh! Nothing is warmed up. You can also park a little further away or take public transport. Definitely worth it! A must for us at least once a week! Baklava on the house 😋. Great family atmosphere.

Don't pay attention to the Greek name, these are the royal Turkish dishes you know. His master is also Turkish. We ate lamb shank, ali gentle and sautéed lamb. Be sure to try the legendary lamb shank. It is much more delicious than I expected. Thank you

Tasty food, affordable, friendly staff!

We were there spontaneously for dinner with three adults and three children (3-6 years old) in the evening during the week. The waiter is very nice and attentive and is good with children and very patient. The quality of the food is simply great, there's nothing to complain about. The prices are okay. There is Efes beer on tap. We were very satisfied - a clear recommendation from us

The catering for our civil wedding was very good! The meat was tender and wonderfully seasoned, the vegetables cooked perfectly, and the dips rounded everything out. The order was uncomplicated and the team was very friendly. We can definitely recommend it! Thanks. :)

Our first visit. Great food! I have never eaten such a wonderful trout salad before! The cook brings you the food with a laugh because she probably knows that you will taste it damn good :-))) I can also highly recommend the Turkish Cankaya white wine. All in all, we'll happily go back!

Great Greek food in Aachen. Staff is really nice. Big portions and you can also eat your food at the bar called Kuckucksnest.

Great restsurant, very tasty food, large portions. The lamb dishes are excellent. As always, we were warmly served and would love to come back.

We ordered a pidde, a salmon salad and 2 pizzas. The pizzas are passable. The pidde is not good and way too expensive. The salad is a disaster! And also way too expensive. The service leaves something to be desired. The waitress expresses her displeasure when I tell her that I want to pay by card and clearly tells me that it would have been better in cash.
