El Leon in Aachen

It's brighter, open and nice. The service is fast and good. There is good, cheap food. Is absolutely suitable for a nice evening with friends. That sounds like a bought ad but I'm just very satisfied.

A truly excellent little restaurant all around. We've been there several times now and have been satisfied each time with the food, the service, and the pleasant atmosphere.

A very nice place to "slow down." The service is very attentive, and the food is delicious. The portions aren't particularly large, so it's worth ordering an appetizer, such as one of the cheese variations.

A really good, family-friendly restaurant! There's always something special to eat here, and the new outdoor area makes it really cozy on a beautiful summer evening. But it's also very pleasant in winter with the great ambiance. The house wine is highly recommended, as are the constantly changing specials. Excellent cuisine with very select ingredients. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Aachen right now! So if you're reading this review, go there, order a plate of appetizers and dumplings with a carafe of house wine, and enjoy the evening! ;)

Einfaches perfekt zubereitetes Essen.

I’m told they changed the concept since 2 days ago. The Greek food is absolutely amazing, as are the wines. It’s cozy, the people working here are great and give you personal attention and it’s a great change from the fast food/fatty food places in the street. I would recommend 11 out of 10

Das Ambiente hat mir gut gefallen. Auch das Konzept finde ich innovativ und zeitgemäß. Das spiegelt sich teilweise auch an der "hippen" Kundschaft wieder. Für meine Begriffe könnte es mehr Sofas geben.

Bien ubicado. En primavera y verano es muy agradable sentarse en las terrazas. Aachen es fabuloso todo lo que tiene. Bueno y variado menú.

I love just about everything this cozy restaurant has to offer. The wine is delicious and the food is exceptional. Small menu that changes frequently but is scrumptious!! There is a lovely waitress there who is so nice whenever I go. She does everything she can to make you feel welcomed and her English is just fine though she always apologizes for it. It has become one of my favorite hot spots!

Geheimtipp in der Restaurantenszene von Aachen. Dort wird dem Gast täglich ein neues Angebot präsentiert. Es gibt keine Karte. Das Essen war kreativ und super frisch. Es gibt mindestens ein vegetarisches Gericht. Für diese gute Qualität war es ein guter Preis. Die Lokation ist gemütlich.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, überschaubare, aber sehr gut abgestimmte Speisekarten. Essen war auf den Punkt sehr gut! Schöne Weinauswahl dazu. Sehr nettes Personal.

Ich war total begeistert. Als ich einen Tisch reserviert habe, würde ich sogar gefragt, ob wir etwas spezielles essen möchten. Das El Leon hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und kocht jeden Tag frisch ca. 4 Gerichte mit oder ohne Fleisch. Das Fleisch ist Bio und das Gemüse regional. Wirklich der empfehlenswert und super lecker!

In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Aachen, with friendly prices for fresh and tasty food. The kitchen is mixed, with strong French and Greek influences. The card is changing daily with ~4 dishes to choose from. I can recommend it warmly.
