We had a great meal here. This is super tasty, and for what we ate and drank, the price-performance ratio is very good. The khinkali are awesome and it's an art to eat the things with your hand. However, there are nice instructions for use. At the end there was a delicious honey cake with nuts. If there were more stars, we would easily add 3 stars. We will come back. Thank you! 04.10.24: It still tastes very good here. The service was also very friendly and nice. We also got a place without a reservation. If possible, you should reserve in advance.

We were so excited to come here and try the Kchachapuri- but we didn’t expect to be so impressed by our two other dishes, too! Everything was so flavorful and authentic. Highly recommend going here!

I visited Grand Suliko - my gastronomic discovery in Dortmund! Cozy Georgian restaurant with delicious cuisine. I would especially like to note the vegetarian dish Phali, delicate texture, aromatic spices and wonderful taste. A visit to the restaurant filled me with the feeling that I had been transported to sunny Georgia. It's nice to see that the owners care about the quality and naturalness of the ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant interior is cozy and inviting I recommend it to all lovers of quality and authentic cuisine

This is not the first time we have been here🥰 We celebrated the baptism of a child, they set a great table for us, everything was delicious, the waiters served us well all evening, asked if everything was okay, and also brought food and drinks on time. There was live music👍 Everything was very atmospheric and delicious🫶🔥

I recently visited this wonderful Georgian restaurant, and the impressions were only positive!! The atmosphere here is very cozy and warm, you feel at home. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with food selection and answer any questions you may have. All dishes are prepared incredibly tasty. I especially liked the khachapuri and shish kebab, they were delicious. The wine was also excellent and complemented the food perfectly. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to enjoy authentic Georgian cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening💞💞

Meetlovers will feel themselves in heaven. Several vegetarian options available. Tasty food. If you never tried GE food order Hachapuri and Shashlik. For drinks take Tarhun.

We were in this restaurant on May 10. The first thing we noticed was the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere in the establishment. The establishment is clean, cozy, the tables are beautifully set, the dishes are beautiful and without flaws. A big plus is that the staff speaks Russian. The waitress girls served very politely and gave advice on the menu (to be honest, I haven’t seen such good service for a long time). We ordered salads, eggplant rolls, Adjarian khachapuri, Mingrelian khachapuri and of course khinkali (I didn’t even have time to photograph the khinkali). All the dishes were very tasty, the salads were served with fresh Georgian bread, which we also liked. I also liked Georgian beer. This establishment deserves attention, I would gladly come here again and will recommend it to friends. Thank you guys 🫶👍

The restaurant was a great find! The ambience was inviting and cozy, perfect for an enjoyable evening. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered and the service staff gave us first-class care throughout the entire visit. The selection of dishes on the menu was impressive and every single one we tried was simply incredible. The quality of the food was outstanding and typically Georgian. An absolutely recommended address for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere! We'll be back soon!

I’m leaving a review in Russian so you know where you’re going) We came without a reservation, the waitress spoke in German, although it’s clear from both us and her that we can facilitate communication. The girl told us to come at 17:15, we heard it clearly. Of course, after an hour of waiting with an exhausted thirst to taste khachapuri at least somewhere in Germany, we arrived. To which we heard, in Russian that we understood, that the girl meant something completely different. And the fact that we had time to eat in a hurry until 17:15. We left. Never having tasted khachapuri. I would like to quarrel with a person without contortions, but they calmed me down. I advise you to book or check with those who own an explicit C1, what is meant ⭐️

The food was very tasty. We particularly enjoyed the bread. The service was attentive and friendly, but understaffed. There is still room for improvement in terms of price-performance ratio, especially with regard to the drinks prices. For two people we paid just under €80 with two main courses, a mixed salad and drinks. Overall, a nice evening, we will definitely come back again. The toilets are not accessible at ground level and could be made nicer. Parking difficult. Unfortunately, card payment didn't work during our visit.

Leider waren wir unentschlossen, dort essen oder mitnehmen. Samstag Abend waren nur handvoll Besucher, es war sooooo laut, daß wir nicht bleiben wollten, haben essen zum mitnehmen gewählt. Essen war nicht lecker, kalt, gab's keine Soßen zum Gericht, was normalerweise mit zwei Soßen serviert wird, als ich gezielt nach tkemali Soße gefragt habe, war nicht da. Nach dem Verzehr gab's gesundheitliche Probleme, wie Sodbrennen und Blähungen... Fazit, es ist nichts für uns.

The chatschapuri and the badrigani were very tasty, unfortunately I didn't think the price of the main courses was justified, just like the lemonade, which costs around €2 in the Russian shop. The service was very nice and courteous, but unfortunately the lamb stew lacked a bit of full-bodied taste. On the whole, the food in Georgia, where I was at the beginning of the year, was much better than in the restaurant, which I unfortunately found disappointing. I still recommend it for khinkali and chatschapuri, as well as the starters. Unfortunately, the main courses didn't convince me with the price-performance ratio!

More of a rustic restaurant. Menu rather meat-heavy. The dishes were very tasty and a bit unusual for me. The service was very nice, but rather slow. The restaurant was very busy on a normal Wednesday evening. That speaks for itself.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe hier. Aus der großen Auswahl an uns unbekannten Gerichten haben wir uns zu zweit, zu dritt oder mit mehreren die Vor- und Hauptspeisen geteilt. Das empfiehlt sich auch wegen der Portionsgröße einiger Vorspeisen. Bei Chatschapuri ist das sogar notwendig, weil das Gericht sehr lecker aber auch sehr mächtig ist. Uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt, die für uns neuen Gewürzkombinationen waren sehr interessant. In vielen Gerichten sind Walnüsse (eher als Paste) und Granatapfelkerne enthalten, die gut mit Gemüse und Fleisch harmonieren. Zu trinken gibt es auch Georgisches: Bier, Estragonlimonade und vor allem Wein. Georgien gilt als Wiege des Weins! Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind fair. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

We reserved a table 2 weeks in advance and when we came today we were told that they had informed us by email that they had canceled our reserved table but we didn't get anything. We showed the booking confirmation and the answer was: "We “We won’t give you space.” I’m just shocked at this attitude. Okay, it's an overlay, but communicating like that is just the height of shamelessness. Think thrice before going to this place and planning your evening. P.S If we had actually received a rejection in advance, we wouldn't have such questions. We would just go to another restaurant. And the format of your response is as rude as your employees' communication. And about the stars. Do you think there should be more of this for a ruined evening?

We reserved a table 2 weeks in advance, when the waitresses arrived to “leave me alone” they said we don’t know anything, there are no places. They showed us the booking confirmation and the answer was “we won’t seat you.” I'm just shocked by this attitude. Okay, it’s an overlay, but communicating like that is just the height of shamelessness. Think three times before going to this place and planning your evening.

Very disappointing. 😒There were three of us there and no one was happy. Afterwards we had to go out for pizza because we weren't full. First to the ambience. It is desolate, lifeless and small. Ok, we thought, maybe the food will convince us. We ordered khinkali as a starter. What can I say, it was oversalted and tasted like it was bought and not like homemade. For the main course we had shashlik skewers with open potatoes. 22Euros a portion, which was ridiculously small. Tasted good with just a few pomegranate seeds. Meat was as if it had been warmed up and not freshly grilled. Not a piece of bread with it. A bottle of cola was almost 6 euros and we had to beg for it. Was brought when we had already finished eating. So it's just a catastrophe! Thank you and never again. Can't understand all the positive reviews.

I am a cook with 20 years of experience, I was delighted with what the kitchen was creating 👌 My family and I drove 70 km to have lunch here on Sunday. There were no free tables, but they still met us and were able to find a place, for which special thanks to the service👍 We will definitely come again and recommend

Disappointed, service to the guest, communication and conversation only sufficient for ordering due to a lack of language skills. No daily recommendation or explanations of the dishes on offer! Wine bottle is simply placed on the table without the opportunity to taste it, without a wine cooler or similar. Eggplants filled with walnut cream and the dumplings filled with minced meat were delicious. Chicken (according to the menu there - chick) in garlic sauce is not original and is served without any side dish. Almond cake for dessert was delicious. Chicken shashlik (a skewer with a few pieces of meat) is always better and cheaper at the 'Turks'! Conclusion ! Once and never again, there's better somewhere else! Price/performance unreasonable! A pity !

Очень вкусные блюда, которые мы заказывали, уютный интерьер и самый приветливый персонал. Спасибо вам за приятный вечер, мне и моим друзьям всё очень понравилось. Обязательно придём ещё к вам!!!

Wir waren heute zu dritt im Grand Suliko, um uns ein Bild von der georgischen Küche zu machen. Gleich zu Beginn muss ich sagen: superlecker und sehr zu empfehlen! Leider wurde der Gesamteindruck in diesem Lokal erheblich getrübt durch die unaufmerksame und unflexible Bedienung, was wohl auch auf erhebliche Sprachdefizite zurückzuführen sein dürfte. Unser Wunsch nach jeweils drei Khinkali (Knödel, gibt es in drei verschiedenen Füllungen) als Vorspeise, damit jeder von uns alle Sorten probieren kann, wurde direkt abgeschieden mit der Begründung, dass es je Sorte mindesten vier sein müssten. Wir haben es dann bei zweimal vier belassen, da es ja eine Vorspeise sein sollte. Weiterhin wurde einmal Khachapuri (Käsebrot mit Ei) und zweimal ein Lammtopf bestellt. Da die Bedienung mit dem Wort "Vorspeise" nichts anfangen konnte, wurden alle Gerichte auf einmal serviert, jedoch nur einmal Lammtopf. Nach unserer Nachfrage nach dem zweiten Lammtopf mit dem Hinweis, dass wir diesen zweimal bestellt haben, wurde dem sofort energisch mit "Nein, haben Sie nicht!" widersprochen. Nach einer weiteren Viertelstunde wurde uns Lügnern aber dann doch noch der zweite Lammtopf gebracht. Leere Gläser wurden geflissentlich übersehen. Schade, mit einer pfiffigeren und sprachkundigeren Bedienung wäre der Abend perfekt gewesen. Nochmal: das Essen war ein Gedicht!

Das Essen war der Hammer und der Wein erst! Der beste Rotwein, den ich seit langer Zeit getrunken habe 👌🏻 Die Live Musik wäre dem ein oder anderen womöglich zu laut, uns hat es nicht gestört, es kam so authentisch rüber. Wirklich eine versteckte Perle in Dortmund. Bis bald ✌🏻

Seit meinem Besuch, empfehle ich jedem dieses Restaurant. Ich habe so so so lecker gegessen! Und vor allem ist es mal ein ganz anderer Geschmack, als Pommes, Pizza & Co.! Einfach lecker! Für den häufigeren Besuch, leider etwas zu teuer. Aber ich bin dankbar für dieses Geschmackserlebnis! :-) Die Atmosphäre war leider etwas kühl.

War sehr lecker, gemütlich und nette personal. Musik war auch perfekt. Ich kann nur weiter empfehlen.

Authentische Georgische Gerichte , egal was wir bestellt haben es war mega 😋 lecker . Alles wird frisch zubereitet und serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bin schon mehrfach drin gewesen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, egal was ich genommen habe. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Die Location sowie die WCs sind sauber. Ist nicht gerade günstig, man merkt es dass es keine Massenproduktion ist. Samstags spielt live Musik. Immer wieder gerne zu den besonderen Anlässen

Immer wieder gerne. Trotzdem, dass wir erst 20 Minuten vorher einen Tisch angefragt haben, konnten wir untergebracht werden, was heute zu Tage nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Die Beratung am Tisch war super und das Essen war auch super lecker. Vor allem die Khinkali köstlich.

Tolles Essen, große Portionen und vor allem sehr strukturiertes und äußerst freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Люблю грузинскую кухню с детства, здесь сплошное разочарование ( еда, обслуживание). Цена "заоблачная". Кто бывал в Грузии или хотя бы в грузинских ресторанах в Киеве, Москве, Питере... не ходите, испортите себе настроение.

Best khinkali in Northern Europe for sure. Amazing aubergine salad like nowhere else. Absolutely the best lamb and pork shashlik (sometimes can be dry due to chef’s mood😂). And dolma! Best dolma in Europe!

Hey Leute, das ist kein russischer Restaurant. Das was besitzer hier zauber Hut ab. Weiter so...einfach lecker lecker

Zum ersten Mal hab ich die georgische Küche hier in Grand Suliko probiert und war angenehm überrascht: gefüllte Auberginen mit Walnusspaste, Chatschapuri, Chinkali und auch der Medovik zum Nachtisch - alles war köstlich, rund im Geschmack und sättigend 👌🏻 Ich empfehle dieses gemütliche georgische Restaurant von Herzen. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam, vielen Dank; auf das Essen mussten wir auch nicht lange warten.

Total überbewertet. Service nett, Ambiente ok aber das essen total überbewertet. Wir haben Xinkali gegessen und das war meiner Meinung nach nicht gut. Schlecht gewürzt, kein Salz, kein Pfeffer die Füllung nicht richtig durch,weich wie suppe. Da muss der Koch noch viel lernen.
