Had reserved for 32 people as part of our MKC Templin cultural tour 2024. We were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner by the landlord. The table menu with a total of 8 different delicious Mediterranean dishes, previously coordinated with the Genusswerkstatt, was plentiful and somehow like eating with a large family. Guest service is very important here. A location to recommend.

My pasta were really great (Radiatori w/ beef) while my girlfriend meal (Milanese) was really canteen style and very disappointing. Service was a bit long - even to bring drinks (but a very big table came few minutes before us from what I witnessed) but they are nice.

Found on our last night, a hidden gem. Great food drinks and service. Reasonably priced. Big shared tables ideal for big groups.

Eating is an experience. We had a sensational meal. The staff is very friendly. Ambience...unfortunately you're sitting on the street but that's why I wouldn't want to miss out on the delicious food. We'll definitely be back.

Very, very bland food unfortunately, a bit too expensive for it, paying took a whopping 20 minutes because 10 pensioners in front of us all had to pay individually in cash, reluctantly again, even if we were simply victims of the circumstances.

A wonderful selection of different dishes, including: E.g. the pasta is still made in-house. There is also a selection of vegan dishes. The waiter was extremely friendly, informed and accommodating. I am always very happy when employees do their job with love and pay attention to the well-being of the guests. I'd love to come back. Thanks for the nice evening :)

When you talk about great gastronomy and hospitality, you talk about Genusswerkstatt. 😉 Despite it being lunchtime, they were friendly, fast and presented soul food of perfect quality. I loved every bite of my homemade tortellini. We all left the restaurant convinced that this restaurant is a gem in Potsdam.

If you come out of Barberini a little exhausted, the Genusswerkstatt is just around the corner. It has pleasant outdoor space and spacious, atmospheric interiors. The food is varied, fresh and tasty.

Hmm. Unfortunately the chocolate cake wasn't edible for me and had nothing to do with chocolate. Doesn't taste like chocolate and tasted like onion afterwards. My family also tested it and agreed with me because I already thought that my taste buds were wrong. Well, it's a shame about the 7€ (expensive prices but justified by inflation and the museum I guess) Service was very nice and the atmosphere was also cozy.

Ate a wonderful Rindergarpaccio (beef) with a glass of white. The staff was very nice and professional.

I was looking for a nice restaurant and found Genusswerkstatt. When I arrived I was surprised at how small the location is. In winter it can definitely get really tight. The service was super nice and attentive. I just had the feeling that they were understaffed and extremely stressed. This has a huge impact on the atmosphere. The drinks came quickly. However, the drinks were very small for the prices. Unfortunately the Aperol wasn't tasty. Way too watery. The menu is clear. However, the prices are shocking. It's just overpriced. The food tastes good. The portions are perfect. However, far too expensive. The dessert was just too small for the price. I felt a little cheated. Too bad. Overall it was a delicious dinner, which unfortunately was just too expensive.

We have always wanted to visit this restaurant and now it finally happened. Very nice. Great cuisine, very nice service and nice ambience.

Good service, but could be better and more structured. The method of everyone playing at all tables has never proven successful. It would be better to have a clear division and distribution of roles. But we were happy so far. Now the food, it was very good and without any compromises. Regardless of whether it was pasta, milanes, truffle dishes or a starter platter, the dessert was also great. Inside, a bit of a noisy station hall atmosphere but ok. But it was also partly due to the festival.

Food was very good. You may sit at large tables with other people. You have to like it. But overall very nice atmosphere. Service is top, fast and super friendly. The pasta is homemade and really to die for. Everything was extremely tasty. And portion was huge. We'll definitely be back very soon. Absolute recommendation!! Update: Still excellent. And still absolutely recommended.

After we were seated, we waited half an hour to be served and place our order. Then we left and won't be coming back.

We only have coffee/cake btw. consumed a decent hefeweizen beer. Nice location and friendly service. You are welcome to take a break here.

Food was catastrophic, no taste, had Piccata Milanese, tomato sauce bland, no taste, meat in the egg shell burned, also tasteless because it wasn't seasoned. Only the very nice service people were able to convince us to stay.

Very nice equipped room with atmosphere, the South African minced meat casserole with saffron rice and mango chutney was delicious, as was the zucchini noodles with vegan cheese sauce (my companion said she had never eaten such a delicious vegan! cheese sauce), overall highly recommended.

The menu is very pleasant and offers something for every taste.

Really nice place with good food

Four of us were here for coffee, the only thing we can rate as far as the food is is the Tiramisu, the taste is good but the size is almost outrageous for €7.30. The really annoying thing was the service, after the waiter wasn't visible for 20 minutes, he was visibly overwhelmed with the cash payment and splitting the bill for 4 people. We had to go inside to pay individually, that's not possible at the price level there , not recommended in my opinion.

We had lunch in this wonderful restaurant with 50 people on Saturday. Everyone was excited. The atmosphere was super relaxed, just the right amount of attention. We all felt the love for food and the personal commitment. The food was excellent, we felt very, very comfortable. Thank you so much!

Nice atmosphere. Very rude waiter who didn't like the guests' choice of seats and didn't make excuses to correct a wobbly table. Then just do it yourself. The 1x1 of the waiter's profession. The guest is king and how do I place servings under wobbly tables. Unfortunately the salmon appears to have been as. There was a stronger than normal smell of fish and afterwards my companion and I had stomach problems. Price-performance ratio is also not given. We won't be coming back.

Very tasty food and very tasty staff.

Although the ambience, especially in the outdoor area, is really appealing, other aspects significantly marred the visit. Unfortunately, I had a stomach ache after eating the fish dish. The service also left a lot to be desired, the staff seemed annoyed and unhelpful when asked. The price-performance ratio does not seem justified. The restaurant makes a superficially chic impression, but cannot convince in terms of quality and hospitality.

The enjoyment workshop is located in the Potsdam Film Museum. The name says it all here! Italian-centric, you can also get more exotic dishes recommended by the chef, as well as cakes and ice cream. Really big portions! I have rarely eaten so well! Super nice service, more rustic decor, well attended. Nice terrace. Big recommendation!

We were here for breakfast today on a Saturday. And it was a wonderful treat. In addition to an impressive selection of bread rolls (grain rolls, light rolls, croissants), we were particularly impressed by the variety of this lovingly prepared table breakfast. Nothing was left to be desired. A selection of cheeses, cold cuts, salmon, herb curds, antipasti, mango lassi, fruit juice, 2 types of jam, fruit salad and egg dishes were more than filling. In addition, individual support from a stunningly friendly service completed a good morning. Thanks to the great team! Even 1 star would be too much! 2 people with walking difficulties get there 8 hours before closing time with a lot of effort only to find out that it will be closed in just under an hour. And preparing food in less than an hour is not possible. Absolutely not recommended! Disgusting service!

Rather rustic restaurant in the former stables near the state parliament, good for tourists and centrally located, 8 man tables with individual seating, fast friendly service, Italian-French touch, prices okay

We were invited here for breakfast on Sunday. The tables were beautifully set and everything for breakfast was laid out on the table. On large plates and on cake stands. Scrambled eggs and bacon were freshly prepared. Breakfast costs 19.90 + drinks. Everything was delicious and plentiful. We liked it a lot.

Great location in the middle of the reclaimed center of Potsdam. Good kitchen! Best service.

Very cool, but not everyone likes the long tables. Food was 7 out of 10. Unfortunately there was a slight deduction because of the price of the wine and the price of the bruschetta (4 pieces for €8). Nevertheless, the food was good and special requests were also fulfilled upon request.

We had 2xbruschetta (€5.10) and a wild garlic soup as a starter. Bruschetta was okay, the soup was served 20 minutes later. The main course was lemon risotto with smoked salmon, the risotto was not creamy and very poorly seasoned, the carpaccio of the day was drowned in wild garlic pesto and covered in spinach leaves. Sweet potato fries with hummus were ok. Spiral noodles with fillet tips were overcooked and the sauce was tasteless. I do not recommend this restaurant.

A very nice and pleasant restaurant and the staff is super friendly. The food tastes really good and is perfectly seasoned and has a pleasant eating temperature. All in all very tasty.

A very interesting concept awaits you in this restaurant. There are long tables for lots of people from 8 to maybe 20. This also makes it easy to meet new people if someone is seated at a table that isn't quite full. This is also definitely suitable for birthday parties or company outings. The food is great. A sufficiently large selection, even for vegetarians, and despite being freshly prepared, the food was served quickly. The taste was consistently very good and the portions were large enough to fill you up. You should definitely try the homemade lemonade and the special beer is not bad either. But there is also a sufficiently large selection of drinks and desserts. We look forward to returning.

We ate in the Genusswerkstatt as part of a working lunch in a fairly large group. The team was thrilled with the food and ambience! The homemade pasta in particular was a highlight. We were so impressed by the food and would come back again and again. :)

Very nice facility for small groups (6/8/10 tables). Very nice service, varied food and good portions. Unfortunately, very loud when there are good visitors...Perhaps something can be done to insulate the sound?!

Ein toller, zentraler Ort! Draussen ein Schild: Sie werden platziert. Wir warten brav, dass platziert wird. Aber keiner der Kellner nimmt Notiz bzw. man wartet und wartet. Wir setzen uns dann doch selbständig an einen der um 16 h vielen leeren Tische. Trotz mässigem Besuch kommt keiner, um unsere Bestellung von 2 Getränken entgegenzunehmen. Ich gehe persönlich zum Tresen und frage, ob jemand kommt. Man sei beschäftigt, hiess es. Wir sind bereits dabei, das Lokal wieder zu verlassen und uns woanders umzusehen, warten aber noch, weil wir zu einer Veranstaltung gehen und nur noch 20 Min. Zeit haben. Einer der Kellner lässt sich sichtlich extra viel Zeit beim Gläser einschenken für andere Gäste. Dann doch endlich .....schade. Das war unser erster und letzter Besuch.

Finally done it and stopped at the gourmet workshop. It was just after five on Sunday and we wanted a good coffee with a piece of cake. No sooner said than done and sat outside. We sat there for a moment before we were noticed. It was then said quite harshly that outside was actually no longer open. OK... And then why are almost all the tables occupied and served? No matter... We were then able to place our order. I like to drink latte macchiato and ordered that too. When it came, however, it looked like a latte. “We’ve always done it like this.” it was just said briefly. OK, so be it. Then the cake came too. Unfortunately it wasn't great either, but it should cost €4.50. Well, it ended up being €24.30 for an Americano, a latte, a water and three pieces of cake. The name definitely didn't match the one delivered. But fortunately there are still alternatives.

Things can be done better, but the service tried hard

Portions are plentiful, the service is very polite, attentive, we have rarely experienced something like this, thank you for that. Ambience a little more rustic, modern is fun. The toilets can be reached via stairs. Price performance like everywhere else.

I was there today with a large group of family and friends for breakfast and brunch. I can only speak highly of it: perfect arrangement, great service and very good cuisine! Price/performance also fits! Always happy!

On our first visit, we walked into the restaurant and were looking around when an employee brusquely told us to wait at the "stop sign." We had overlooked that. No reason to be snapped at. Then we left the restaurant immediately and will definitely not be coming back.

Wie man einem schönen Abend mit Freunden einen faden Beigeschmack verpasst, versteht der Chef der Genusswerkstatt sehr gut. Nach dem wir zu sechst reichlich gegessen und getrunken haben, wollte ich noch ein wenig von dem kleinen Geburtstagskuchen probieren und fragte, ob das in Ordnung ist. Er sagte, na klar, es gibt ne Kuchenpauschale und ich lasse euch Teller und Besteck hinstellen. Auf der Rechnung wurden 10,40 € abgebucht. Ich glaube nicht, dass das Restaurant auf das Geld angewiesen ist aber scheinbar ist es auch nicht auf glückliche Gäste angewiesen. Ich werde es zukünftig meiden, hier essen zu gehen. Zum Glück gibt es in Potsdam noch viele andere gute Restaurant, wo der Service rundum passt.

Alles 1a ... bei UNSEREM Essen heute. 5.01.2024 Ochsenbäckchen... Vom Kellner übers Essen & Trinken... sowie das Ambiente.

Wir haben schon des öfteren in der Genusswerkstatt gegessen. Die Gerichte sind vorzüglich und schmecken sensationell. Wir sind total begeistert und empfehlen es allen Freunden und Bekannten. Ich kann nur sagen lasst es euch nicht entgehen.

Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber etwas zu teuer für das, was letztendlich auf dem Teller war. Die Servicekraft war sehr verpeilt, musste zigmal nachfragen, und dann fehlte doch was, aber sie war sehr nett, wirkte nur etwas gestresst. Gestört hat mich, dass die vegane Karte nur online zu finden war. Das ist unnötig umständlich. Das alles zusammen hat uns nicht den Aufenthalt ruiniert, aber gezielt würde ich nicht noch mal hingehen.

Der Fischtopf war sehr lecker und deftig!

Super schönes Restaurant. Das Essen ist der Hammer . Bestes Parmesan Risotto mit Trüffeln. Auch der Brunch ist super schön. Das Personal immer nett und freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Ein sehr nettes, gemütliches Lokal in der Innenstadt von Potsdam. Service war wirklich 1A, sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam zügig an und hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Preis-Leistung hat auch gestimmt! Alles in allem gibt es hier wirklich nichts zu bemängeln, kann es nur jedem Pastaliebhaber weiter empfehlen!

Die Gerichte sind durchweg ein Traum. Und sogar jeder Ernährungsstil wird da bedient. Egal ob Trüffel, Fleisch, Pasta, Suppe. Bisher war alles richtig geil. Auch die Bedienungen waren immer sehr freundlich und auch immer wieder verfügbar. Die Toiletten sind etwas mau, aber noch akzeptabel.

Weihnachtsessen 2023, war für unsere Gruppe von 17 Personen ein voller Erfolg. Das Essen war hervorragend. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Ein besonders Lob an die Idee die Zulagen (Klöße,Rot und Grünkohl sowie die Soße) extra aufzutischen. So konnte jeder nach seinen eigenen Vorstellungen die leckere Ganz und Ente anrichten. Der Service war immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein rundum gelungener Abend für einen absolut angemessenen Preis.
