Good price-performance ratio, nice service

I had an order for just under €30 and wanted it delivered within Cronenberg and still wanted a delivery fee. Although within Cronenberg the minimum order value is 10€ and outside 15€.

Very friendly staff, on-site seating and delicious food. Doner kebab and pommdöner were very filling, very tasty and reasonably priced compared to some of the competitors. Will go there again.

I'm not a fan of making hasty judgments or writing negative reviews. My experience with gekebab was so-so. The first time we ordered the food via delivery. After asking twice, this only came after over 2 hours. Since the food at least tasted good, we decided to pick it up in the future. We have now done this twice and can therefore leave an honest opinion. The “normal” Lamacun tastes quite good, it could do with a little more meat. We also didn't receive enough change when paying and had to point it out... but I wouldn't have left such a negative review for these two incidents. However, there was another point that completely repelled us. For the vegetable lamacun, unlike the first time (it simmered on the griddle), the portion of vegetables was taken from a side room and carelessly thrown into the deep fryer. After a few seconds you threw it on the frying plate and added it to the Lamacun a short time later. As you can imagine, the taste of this meal was a disaster and the Lamacun was dripping with fat/oil. Normally there shouldn't be more than one star for this, but since the normal Lamacun are halfway good, I'll leave two stars. I hope that this review gives the owner something to think about and that all future guests get better. Based on our experience, we will now prefer to order/get food from somewhere else!

Unfortunately I can only give one star. Since I was advised several times not to order there, I still gave Gekebab a chance and ordered it there. We waited 2 hours for three parts. If you don't have the capacity to deliver to that number of people, you should think about whether it makes sense to offer delivery. I ate there twice and found it really tasty. Unfortunately, yesterday's order and the statement on the phone did not ensure that I would eat there again, let alone order there.

I had food delivered from this snack bar and I am more than satisfied! The service was super friendly, my order came on time and was still hot. My special requests were implemented perfectly and the food was simply delicious. I was particularly impressed by the generosity of the portions. A great service that will definitely be repeated. 3 hours delivery time for 1 kebab, no one says anything, kebab full of salad a few pieces of meat, embarrassing to deliver something like that

Ordered twice and went wrong each time 👎🏼 P.s. We've been waiting for the FORGOTTEN Fanta for 1 hour now...

Unfortunately there has to be a bad review today. When ordering by phone, delivery time was stated as 1 hour. After 1.5 hours we were called because what we had ordered was no longer available. We were offered an alternative that would come in 15 minutes. After 2 hours we called to cancel the order. We were told on the phone that the driver was already on the way and that we wouldn't have to pay anything because of the inconvenience. When the driver arrived at our place, he didn't know anything about the last phone call and told us that if we didn't pay, he would have to take the food back with him. He took the food back with him and we will order somewhere else in the future.

The delivery time is really unbelievable. We waited over 1:30 hours for the food, the store could not be reached by phone nor was Lieferando's time correct. At least the supplier apologized briefly.

Delicious kebab plate, fair prices, friendly staff, a bit cool in the room in the cold season if you eat the food on site. Small suggestion for improvement - it would be nice if rice were also offered as a side dish!

We had to wait 3.5 hours for our food last night (July 5th, 2024). When it finally arrived, it was cold. Instead of the pizza rolls we ordered, we got a kebab (which had hardly any meat on it) - without any prior agreement! And that even though I even called the employees in the store 3 times (!) where our order was left. As an apology we got a bottle of Sprite on the house - but that's rather poor considering the waiting time... However, the employees on the phone and the delivery person were very nice

Food is ok but when you order you have to wait for hours for your food and are always put off. After 3 hours of waiting the order was canceled, absolute disgrace!!!

I like the shop and the food but as long as I've been alive I've never waited 4 hours for a meal. A pity!

At the risk of more people queuing in front of me: They simply serve good kebab here. I particularly like the vegetable variations, definitely try vegetables with falafel! The guys are quick, the service is good, we take everything home with us because there is still room for improvement in terms of comfort on site. All in all my favorite kebab shop, fair prices and delicious food.

The food is quite okay. Feel free to order. But the delivery via Liferando was very bad. Liferando shows 55 minutes. After the 55 minutes have elapsed, the order is on the way. Well, you wait..... But then you waited another 50 minutes. Then you called again and 20 minutes. Later the little things came. Unfortunately, the other reviews also show that this is probably not an unfortunate isolated case. Unfortunately, I or we will have to look elsewhere in the future. It's a real shame.

Today I watched the Italy game on site and ate a plate of kebab. I would especially recommend the veal. Also great guys behind the scenes. Go on !!

Doner kebabs and the like still taste very good. Orders, on the other hand, often take so long that you wonder why you didn't order from the truckstop. In addition, some of the food arrives cold.

The food is great in terms of quality and taste. And now the big but: We have already ordered several times through the company (max. 5 minutes drive time) and had to: 1. wait for a very long time (over an hour) and 2. the food was, if at all, still lukewarm. We have had similar experiences with pre-orders for pickup. The colleague left at the specified time to pick up the food. After about 30 minutes he came back with the food and the information: The order hadn't even started to be prepared when he asked. Another time we were told on the phone that we didn't need to pre-order, that it would be enough to order on site. Conclusion: Wait about 25 minutes. It's a shame because the food is really delicious.

I don't know why everyone is celebrating. Wuppertal's best kebab??? Doesn't taste good at all. Dripping with fat, way too much meat. And as if it wasn't enough, any foreign bodies (!) in the kebab. Simply disgusting. In the past, colleagues also came up with the idea of ​​ordering there. Large company based here. Never been on time despite an agreement. You only have 30 minute breaks at fixed times! Not an isolated case.

We have ordered from GeKebab several times now and the chilli cheese dishes are very tasty. Unfortunately the service is more than poor. Here's a few examples: When ordering with delivery we are talking about 45-60 minutes. From the moment the order is placed, the time increases to 75-90 minutes. When asked, there are comments on the phone that the regular customers need to be served first. Finally the order arrived after more than 2 hours. You think to yourself, it certainly won't always be like this, so try again. During the week when ordering with delivery it's the same thing again, the time specified and the time delivered don't match at the front and back. Even when picking up, the times given don't match. We're talking about 15 minutes here. After submitting the order, the time increases to 35 minutes. When you arrive on time, your order isn't even close to being ready. The fries are only put into the deep fryer at that moment from the refrigerator and another 15 minutes pass until the food is ready. It's really a shame that the food is so delicious, but the service just doesn't match it and therefore the performance doesn't match either. Very annoying. We hope for improvement.

The best and friendliest team when it comes to kebab specialties in Wuppertal or “on the Cronenberg”! Always TOP quality and the owners are always helpful and friendly. We haven't eaten there yet, but you shouldn't expect a restaurant atmosphere. The rooms are functional and well maintained. THE shop for kebabs. Our tip: No. 24: kebab meat, salad and grilled vegetables with enough sauce. Keep it up guys!!!

Food is OK. But the kebab was delivered in flatbreads, even though I pointed out kebab plates several times on the phone. AND the recliner asked for 3 euros more than the total price (including recliner fees) was quoted on the phone. Ask for an invoice, work is not done honestly!!!

Were there around lunchtime today, I don't think the ventilation system was working, the whole shop smelled a bit unpleasant, a large portion of donuts had fallen apart. Unfortunately, the fries weren't even properly fried. If you are nearby and have no other solution, then you can go there.

To be honest: ordered at 6:00 p.m. via delivery information. Nothing happened until 8:30 p.m. After calling Gekebab, no order was received. We pulled out all the stops and the food arrived in no time, including two free drinks. Absolutely outstanding in taste! Thanks!

The staff in the small kebab shop with seating was really nice. I ordered the falafel vegetable plate. The portions were really big and you get a lot for your money. But honestly, I thought the taste was just okay. People probably come here more for the kebab meat. The atmosphere is simple and there is seating, perfect for a quick meal. Even though my meal was just average, I'm willing to give the place another chance and maybe try out the kebab meat, which is obviously the specialty.

I really understand that Friday nights are busy. But unfortunately a 3 hour delivery time is not possible. Unfortunately aioli was not delivered. Nevertheless, the food was tasty and as compensation there were two cans of Sprite. The delivery employee was also very nice. Nevertheless, I will probably only pick it up in the future - if so. A pity.

What can I say? For me it's the best kebab shop I've eaten at so far. And I've seen a few in my 38 years. Yes, basically everyone can eat fresh salad and fresh vegetables. But what stands out here is the incredibly delicious meat and these sauces. The guys are also polite and respond to customer requests. Always happy. The only small point of criticism: the music is just too loud when you eat on site.

We often grab something for dinner when we're on duty. Every time, all of the staff were warm, friendly and tried to take care of us quickly so that we weren't alarmed away. No matter what my colleagues and I ordered, it always tasted very good and the price/performance ratio was great. I particularly like the option that you can also have a vegetable plate (salad, fried vegetables, meat, sauces) as an alternative to the “standard kebab selection” in other restaurants or the vegetable options as a vegetarian alternative. Absolute recommendation!

Es war heute Abend sehr voll, sogar das Fleisch war irgendwann ausverkauft!! Der Umgang im Team, mit den Fahrenden, und mit der Kundschaft war trotz Stress top! Die Jungs hinter der Theke haben ein wahnsinnig hohes Konzentrationslevel gehalten, sind allen Wünschen gefolgt. Top Job! Weiter so! Toll fände ich, wenn die Verpackung noch etwas nachhaltiger würde!

Heute das erste mal vor Ort gewesen super lecker, professionelle Bedienung und zu dem sehr freundliches Personal. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Ich war öfters da das essen ist prima, sehr nettes Personal alles top, heute habe ich das erste mal nach Hause bestellt das essen kam nach 45min bestätigte Lieferzeit pünktlich an, so warm gewesen wie ich es vor Ort gegessen habe. 👍🏾👍🏾

Haben an einem normalem Dienstag über Lieferando bestellt. Zugesagt wurde eine Lieferung nach 30 bis 55 Minuten. Nach über 2 Stunden immer kam die Lieferung. Wenn angerufen wurde, wurde man nur vertröstet. Die Döner waren dann lauwarm. Ein Döner sollte doppelt Fleisch haben, hatte aber dann Fetakäse statt Doppelt Fleisch drauf. Vorbildlich waren die Fahrer, fröhlich und gut gelaunt, die waren klasse. Auch sollte erwähnt werden, daß als Entschuldigung für die Verspätung eine Cola mitgegeben wurde. Aber insgesamt muss ich leider sagen, so eine Verspätung mit einer Fehllieferung finde ich nicht mehr so einfach entschuldbar, daher kann ich das nicht weiterempfehlen. Nachtrag: Die Kosten für das Essen wurden ohne Nachfrage meinerseits innerhalb eines Tages komplett zurück erstattet. Das nenne ich Service und ziehe meinen Hut davor. Nehme das gerne als Entschuldigung an und bin dann auch gerne bereit, meine Rezession gerade im Punkt Service entsprechend zu korrigieren und bedanke mich dafür.

Ich war heute Abend dort, es war sehr viel los, aber damit muss man rechnen wenn man so leckeres essen haben möchte. Die Jungs sehr Freundlich und aufmerksam trotz viel Stress. Einer der besten döner der Stadt. Weiter so!!

Das Essen ist prima, aber vor Ort besonders in der kälteren Jahreszeit eher unangenehm. Denn es ist sehr unangenehm kalt dort, wenn alle Türen offen gestellt werden. Wahrscheinlich funktioniert der Abzug nicht ausreichend, weshalb der Küchendunst und -rauch(?) schnell den Raum erfüllt, wenn die Türen geschlossen sind.

Essen ist super lecker und der Laden sehr beliebt. Man muss beim Bestellen allerdings sehr aufpassen, wie lang die gerade angebene Lieferzeit ist und selbst diese wurde bei uns öfter nicht eingehalten. 45min - 90+min sind viel zu lang. Es ist auch völlig egal ob man abholt oder geliefert wird, es dauert beides ewig.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Abgesehen von den Plastikgabeln im Restaurant und dem nicht dagewesenen Service war das Personal sehr freundlich.

Vorerst 5 Sterne. Das Essen war gut und Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Update folgt ggf. nach ein paar mehr Bestellungen. Nach mittlerweile vielen Bestellungen und auch Besuchen dort, kann ich eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung aussprechen. Weiter so!

Hänchendöner 5 Euro, super Preis und aufjedenfall satt geworden. Nettes Personal. Leider war der döner komplett durchgeschnitten und alles viel auseinander aber das hat den guten Geschmack nicht beeinträchtigt. Gerne wieder.

Lecker, gute große Portion. Preise so wie überall. Ein Nachteil ist das die Dönertaschen komplett durchgeschnitten werden. Das macht das Essen zu einer schwierigen Angelegenheit. Schon sind hier die Tagesmenüs. Die sind preislich unschlagbar.

Sehr lecker dort. Hatte einen normalen döner und einen mit Gemüse. Waren beide Weltklasse. Fleisch schön lecker und dunkel. Soßen waren gut. Salat und Gemüse waren auch super. Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und auch keine lange Wartezeit. Werde in Zukunft noch andere Gerichte probieren aber der erste Eindruck war top 👍

Als Dankeschön gibt es 5 Sterne. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Frischer Salat und bestes Dönerfleisch. Empfehle ich jedem weiter :)
