The service was great. Very attentive, the food was great across the board and not expensive. The four of us paid less than €100 in total and we didn't hold back. There's also free cay if you want. Only the lighting is a bit bright, otherwise it was perfect!

Negative. 3 different orders were made but all 3 were not tasteful and the restaurant does not have a good atmosphere. The staff is slowly becoming unfriendly. No matter what you ask, you only get cheeky answers, which was very unsympathetic. Only one topic was positive and that was the location of the restaurant with a beautiful view.

We were looking for a restaurant in Wuppertal on Sunday and spontaneously found this one. It really appealed to me from the outside and it smelled delicious. Service was great, the staff was very friendly and quick. We had Turkish pizza and starter and we really enjoyed it. We particularly liked the starter of flatbread with a side dish, which is automatically placed on the table. If we lived nearby, we would definitely be guests more often 👍

Ambience is modern. The dishes we ordered were tasty, but the minced meat in the kofta contained some (in my opinion too many) pieces of fat. Chicken skewers were well grilled. The service was very nice, asked questions often and was therefore very good. The price is not exactly cheap compared to similar restaurants in Wuppertal.

I'm a new customer. I wanted to try it for the first time so that I could invite my family to eat at XKebab. Unfortunately the restaurant failed. The most classic of all classics. Manti. Had zero taste. There was minimal meat in it. That's why the meat taste didn't come out. Meat didn't taste like anything. Dough the same way. The manti were not freshly prepared Yoghurt sauce didn't taste like anything either. Paprika butter sauce had exactly zero taste. Signs that nothing was freshly prepared. Butter and yogurt have an intense taste. You can taste it straight away when you eat it. Despite being a new customer and knowing that the impression counts, I had to wait a long time to take my order, even though there was only one table of guests and they had already been served. 1 star for my visit with you. Restaurant dishes must be freshly prepared. That's how it should be.

The food was great, and so was the service, except for the one waitress who got our order wrong and had the audacity to tell me, "Is this bad?" Was blonde and a bit fat. The guys and the lady with black curly hair were so nice

We went there for lunch as it was recommended to us. Unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic. The first thing we noticed was that the plates on the table were already chipped and there were still leftovers under our table. Even though there was only one table occupied in the store. The waitress seemed unmotivated. We were greeted with flatbread with 3 spreads, one was spicy but tasty, one tasted like yogurt (probably supposed to be tzatziki) and one was pink and somehow tasted like nothing. We ordered a lamb skewer with rice and salad, as well as a lamb stew. The lamb skewer was too salty and partly dry and there was hardly any meat in the lamb stew. There was nothing wrong with the rice and salad. We won't come back as there is definitely a better Turkish restaurant.

I haven't been to a Turkish restaurant yet. Takeaway of course but that really surprised me. We had just arrived at the table and took a quick look at the menu when the appetizer platter arrived. There were two dips, onions and hot sauce. There was one or two small flatbreads. That was very 😋. We have a pide with salad, 6 mini Turkish pizzas with salad, a chicken skewer with salad and bulgur. I also ordered fries, which wasn't necessary. The food was indescribably delicious. There was an explosion of flavor with every bite. The ambience is very nice. Staff is nice. You don't constantly get asked if you need something.

If you are in Wuppertal, then you are welcome to add the “by x Kebab” to your food list. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. Recommended especially for larger groups. The food - in this case we had breakfast. (However, we will also come back for dinner.) Which is regulated according to the Turkish serpme concept. Speak in German- distributed, scattered. There is always a little bit of everything on the table, such as cheese, sausage, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, etc. From savory to sweet. I particularly liked the Simit (sesame rings). And a highlight - since it is no longer so common for tea to be served in a large pot and we were allowed to drink as much as we wanted. The atmosphere was very modern and open. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, which flood the rooms with light. With a view of the Wuppertal suspension railway. Very well prepared for the evening too. There you have the opportunity to grill at your own table. (We'll try it next time.) If the weather is nice, you can also eat outside. I can recommend it.

This was definitely the best Turkish restaurant experience I've had outside Türkiye. The food and service were excellent. Don't be fooled by the name. This is certainly not your typical kebab shop. The decor is traditional and the entire space is spotlessly clean.

Unfortunately only 5 stars are possible. But 10 would be justified.

Very modern furnishings with antique accents. We were greeted warmly and shown to the table. We looked at the extensive menu then ordered the grill plate for 2 people and extra tzatziki because the starters with bread were on the table quickly but there wasn't enough tzatziki. The main course was served on the hot lava stone and the meat was cooked perfectly. The fries are nice and crispy. At the Greek we finish with an ouzo. Here we had a Turkish tea which was delicious.

Thank you for the great evening! The X Kebap team really does everything they can to ensure that someone has a great stay. We sat at one of the grill tables and tried pretty much everything on the menu, everything was delicious without exception. The homemade iced teas were just as delicious, although I would have liked sparkling versions. The free side dishes are almost the star of the evening, the tzatziki, the lavas bread and the other side dishes are simply delicious. We'll definitely come back and try the normal menu.

Wuppertal is a centrally located place. Everything is nice, the atmosphere is nice, the service is fast enough, the staff is friendly and quick to react, there is a lot of variety and very delicious meat varieties, single portions are sufficient for two people, prices are a little above average, if the prices were a little more affordable, we would visit more often, we would recommend it. .

Too much salt, meat too old? Paid 100 euros for 4 people and leftover meat, every piece broken, torn off, service very bad, only after an hour of waiting you are served. Never again.

We went out to eat today for a birthday, even though we made a reservation at 7 p.m. and because we were 15 minutes late because we had to look for a park, we waited 30 minutes to sit down and then we had to wait another hour for dinner the conditions were bad but the food was ok. We waited another 30 minutes to pay, we went to the checkout ourselves and then we could finally pay.

A very pleasant place to eat delicious and fresh food, the staff there are very friendly and accommodating. Yes, it may cost a euro or two more but it is absolutely worth it.

Great restaurant. The food tastes very good here. The ambience is great compared to other locations. The toilets are clean and don't smell! The prices are a bit higher, otherwise I can highly recommend it here. If you want to eat in the evening or late afternoon, you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

Air conditioning set way too cold, I froze while eating! Food is no different from the kebab shop around the corner...service is better, but ok!

There is simply NOTHING to complain about, one of the best for meat lovers, it is served really hot, waiting times are very short, especially the service, you really notice how warm and hard-working the employees are, they take care of every little thing and always with them a smile on your face.

They didn’t bring the compliments (rice/sallad) that came with the food, and the waiters pretty much ignored us. No menu in English and the waiters don’t speak English either. When we asked about the rice several times during the meal they just said yes but never brought it, then we complained again they offered us to bring it to go after eating which didn’t make any sense. They didn’t bring us the receipt when we paid.

In my opinion, the Iftar menus in particular are simply totally overpriced (€32-37). Especially considering the small portion size and the average taste, it is simply poor value for money. The Adana was the only one that was really tasty, the rest were pretty average. The rice as a side dish was also very sticky and cold that day. On days when you can perhaps order from the menu, a visit may be worthwhile, as there aren't really any suitable alternatives for good Turkish cuisine in Wuppertal. However, I wouldn't visit the store again.

The small, extremely tasty free starter plates with fantastic, fresh, warm flatbread are excellent. And: The skewers are awesome. The food always has a 'bank'. Be sure to reserve in good time...!!

I wanted to reserve a table. The unfriendly answer was “nothing free” and they hung up. Then we went anyway. After 40 minutes we had a table. The food was average and no better than other Turkish restaurants. The service was a disaster! I had to get up several times to get someone, otherwise I could have waited forever. So I don't have to have it again. The selection of Turkish restaurants in Wuppertal is large enough and in some it even tastes better.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, none of us had any food. It is also overpriced. We definitely won't come again.

Very nice Turkish restaurant. We found it on our way from Wuppertal. Ate very well. My wife had minced lamb skewers with fries and salad. I had chicken skewers with rice and bulgur wheat and salad. Before that there were various dips and fresh bread. The atmosphere is very nice. You also have the option of grilling directly at the table with an embedded gas plate. Definitely nice for social evenings. The staff was friendly and quite quick. And the food was very good. Can only recommend it.😊

I requested checkout twice and all other guests completed checkout. I came after my third request.

We wanted to go there for breakfast (birthday) 5 adults, 2 babies and 3 children were unfortunately not accepted although the 2 tables (for 4 and 5 people) were free according to the lady on the phone, we had called yesterday to make a reservation but the gentleman On the phone we said we could just come in and then something like that so we wanted to go there for the first time but never again!!!! Good thing we called otherwise we would have left for free!!!

Excellent restaurant!! I ordered a lahmacun to take away and I'm thrilled! Unlike other restaurants, the lahmacun was freshly prepared in the oven and not reheated. The salad was packaged separately. This means you have the full freshness experience at home! Well done. Five out of five stars!

X Kebab has been our regular restaurant since it opened. We go there often, you can really enjoy your food with a clear conscience in a pleasant atmosphere. The starter that you are served and the main course always taste equally delicious here. The waiters are all very attentive and nice.

The place is number 10, it is clean, decent, spacious inside, the employees are very friendly and attentive, the service is quite fast, our orders were served hot and everything was delicious, including the treats. I won't go to any other kebab restaurant anymore. It is 100% recommendation.

Short version: -Friendly staff -Good value for money! -Pizza tasty, the base is soft but still crunchy! -Huge salad plate! -Tea is on the house - Be sure to reserve on Fridays/weekends, otherwise you will be waiting in line for a long time -has a beautiful prayer/silence room -hygienic -spacious. You feel comfortable and are not squeezed in due to the small amount of furniture -Vegetarians are not left out! -The sweet dish 'Künefe' was very well prepared. It was crispy and not too sweet like in traditional restaurants. You can also order this dessert with 'Kaymak' (similar to mascarpone). Often one portion after a meal is too much, so you can share it :) Conclusion: A visit is worth it!

Good Turkish cuisine, average bill for 1 person is 25 euros. The menu features mainly meat dishes and traditional snacks, fresh ayran. A nice bonus is that while you wait they give you a compliment - a few mezes. The speed of cooking is not very fast, if you are hungry, you may have to wait. The establishment's experienced staff are friendly and will advise you on what to order. New waiters in the establishment still need more training….))
