Nice service, online reservation possible, prices reasonable, good portions. We can only recommend you! The RSC Cologne table tennis club says thank you for the good hospitality

A pleasant restaurant, good food, reasonable prices and very nice service. Not so easy to reach by bus and train, especially the way back in the dark is not nice, there are a few street lights missing here. Otherwise good and we will definitely come back

Das Geißbockheim bietet an für sich ein schönes Ambiente und der Außenbereich ist wirklich schön. Leider stimmt in meinen Augen das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gar nicht, da man für 2,30€ für ein Kölsch wenigstens ein volles Glas erwarten kann. Auf das Essen, welches lecker war, haben wir teilweise sehr lange gewartet. Die Currywurst hat beispielsweise 60 Minuten lang auf sich warten lassen. Die größte Enttäuschung stellt in meinen Augen der Service da, die jüngeren Servicekräfte waren sehr bemüht und aufmerksam, diese Art sollte sich der Rest des Service-Teams abschauen. Bereits bei der Platzierung an unseren Tisch wurden wir von einem unfreundlichen Kollegen in Empfang genommen, dessen Laune sich auch über die Dauer unseres Besuchs nicht besserte. Jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben, aber wir haben uns nicht freundlichen empfangen und betreut gefühlt. Des Weiteren sollten an Spieltagen mindestens zwei Personen Tische abkassieren können, sonst wartet man nämlich sehr lange auf seine Rechnung und das Bezahlen.

Total zufrieden und kommen wieder. Es sind bayerische Wochen.

I've been a fan of Effzeh since 1970, I was there for 6 years! It was a very emotional and moving experience for me to enter the club grounds of such a traditional club and enjoy the training and the entire training area with great forest and relaxing walks. I have experienced all the successes and of course also disappointments (relegations 7)... I sincerely hope that it is now! going uphill again (once again) and finally making this club what it actually deserves! The 2nd league is damn strong with many traditional clubs and it applies to every game(s) Do everything for success, after all you are wearing the Effzeh jersey! The coach and coaching team make a very competent impression to me, which is also worth emphasizing, I think the team has arrived well in League 2 with young talent and experienced players. Now to build on the last games as quickly as possible, I'm also very optimistic that it will work. The Effzeh belongs in the Bundesliga no ifs and buts. In this sense... Food was very good. Service leaves a lot to be desired. When ordering, stupid comments are made about the guests' appetite. Next time please try different service.

Wir waren alle wieder sehr zufrieden mit dem Besuch im Geißbockheim. Bereits im Vorfeld gab es einen netten Kontakt per Mail zwecks Reservierungsanpassung. Das Essen kam schnell, war sehr lecker und das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Daher erneut Daumen hoch. 👍😉

From 1986 - 1990 I lived with my family at the Geisbockheim. The clubhouse was visited very often at that time and I still like to be there today to revive old memories.

An absolute must for FC fans. The currywurst was very tasty, service was excellent... and with a bit of luck you might even meet one or two players here... Very easy to get to by bus, only about a 300m walk

Wir fühlten uns wunderbar aufgehoben. Selbst der Regen konnte uns Dank der perfekten Überdachung nichts angaben.

Essen und Service waren gut. Leider war er so unerträglich heiß IM Restaurant . Keine Klimaanlage nicht mal ein Ventilator für ein bisschen Luftzirkulation. Auf meine Frage nach einem Ventilator wurde das verneint. Nach einiger Zeit gab es dann doch zumindest 2 Ventilatoren…

Unfortunately, the food there has become much worse, but it is almost 30 percent more expensive. There were 5 of us, no one was happy with what we were served, a bottle of water costs 8 euros here, a joke. The service and the ambience are great Okay, except for the one waitress from the Asian area who is annoying with her stupid sayings.

47% price increase in 2 years is completely unreasonable! Otherwise everything is great there. And the fried potatoes are world class! Definitely the best in Cologne.

Unfortunately, the food tends towards the second league... Unfortunately, like the French fries, the “Schnitzel Wiener Style” only tasted dull/sticky. The "Effzeh-Currywurst" was "slightly flabby" in terms of meat... Only the RED Pinot Noir (DH) and the iced chocolate were convincing. Otherwise: Very well-kept atmosphere, nice terrace and very friendly staff. PS: The time was nice with first-class "Cordon Bleu" etc. ...

Was just visiting for a small beer during the half-time break. First impression wasn't bad though!

Unfortunately, the kitchen is completely inflexible (e.g. a single portion of French fries is impossible to order); But what is even more incomprehensible: the guests are left to sit on the terrace in the scorching heat and refuse to open the large parasols 'because it might rain'. At the same time, several of these umbrellas are open on the cordoned off part of the terrace! And the sweating guests look there longingly, but are not allowed to sit there in the shade! Incredible!

There are more comfortable waiting rooms!!

Today we sat indoors because it was raining, on the terrace it is of course nicer, but the service and the food are just as good. Always my pleasure.

The staff is very unfriendly. You are first ignored and then treated condescendingly. The waitress constantly wants to force something on you. Annoying!! Food not really tasty. Will definitely not go there again.

Wir waren zu viert. Haben lecker gesessen. Service sehr nett und hilfsbereit- immer mit einem flotten Spruch. Die Portionen sind groß (-artig) und uns hat es allen geschmeckt. Bei vier unterschiedlichen Gerichten ein super Ergebnis.

Fußball gucken lohnt sich nur wenn der Fc spielt. Ansonsten laufen die Spiele ohne Ton. Die gehypte Currywurst war überteuert und nicht gut. Sehr freundlicher, bemühter Service.

We went to the Geissbockheim again for lunch today. The kitchen is really great; My potato rosti with mushrooms, sauce, bacon and salad bouquet was very tasty and recommended. Service is very attentive. The many FC photos on the walls offer every FC or football fan a lot to look at.

Tisch online reserviert ohne Problem. Man wurde kurz vorher noch mals erinnert. Der zugewiesene Tisch war gut. Das Essen kam für alle gleichzeitig und hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service und die Freundlickeit waren hervorragend. Immer wieder gern.
