Gaststätte ”Zur Erholung” in Peine

I've never eaten so badly! I ordered Samba pasta with cheese and cream sauce. The sauce was simply a stock cube dissolved in maybe a little milk (it could have just been water)! Baked? It was in the oven for 2 minutes at the most!!! And for €15... I'm speechless. How can I possibly offer food like that?! Mephisto sauce is also just tomato paste with a little cream... Such a shame what this place has become! I'll never order from there again!

I really enjoyed it there; the food was simply excellent. We would have loved to sit outside, but the weather didn't allow it. We'd be happy to go back. Really good, traditional German cuisine. 5/5

We always eat here the night before the theater and have never been disappointed. The season ticket also leaves nothing to be desired. Highly recommended!
