Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent food and very friendly service.

My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant for the first time today due to the high demand and the good reputation and good reviews. We had high expectations for the food and were not disappointed. The service was always very helpful and quick. We made a reservation for two, plus a delay that we announced because we still had to do something in the city. The food was quickly at the table within 10 minutes, including the starters. We each ate a Schäufele and starter salads. It was fresh, juicy and hot and therefore very tasty. Unfortunately our drinks were only taken after 10 minutes but that was manageable. These arrived quickly and cool. The price was also totally reasonable, with a tip for the waiter we paid a fitting €50 instead of €47. He was very friendly. But I have to deduct points for the ambience. The old German, quite rustic restaurant looks very nice and you feel very at home. However, we didn't get a table for two, but had to share it with several people, so the four of us had to sit close to strangers. This is really not easy for introverts. Unfortunately, it was also very, very loud, so you literally had to shout so that you could hear each other. Unfortunately there was no music that would have definitely counteracted the whole thing. When entering and exiting you have to go straight through the smoking smoke of the smokers who were standing right in front of the door in the entrance to the inner courtyard. That wasn't so nice either. All in all, a very nice restaurant where you can eat very well and we will repeat it again. Unfortunately, you have to expect that you will be served at the table with strangers and in a loud atmosphere. Greetings

There were eight of us in the restaurant and we visited the restaurant specifically for its carp. We have carp fillet, pepper carp, shovel and, as starters, soup of the day, liver dumpling soup and cheese spaetzle. Everything was very good. The price-performance ratio is also very good. The waitress was warm and honest in her recommendation. All in all a great dining experience. We will definitely come back as we enjoyed it very much. I'll deduct one point. Two different topics that still need to be said here. Parking is only available for a fee and in the parking garage. Otherwise not many parking options. The second point is the sanitary facilities. These are a bit old.

Old inn in Fürth that still has the character of back then, what not is derogatory. Very friendly service, food was very tasty and at reasonable prices. You might want to call and make a reservation, as the place was very full when we visited. Will definitely come again

Great economy with good food. The baked carp was very good. The prices are okay. The two service guys were great. Even though the restaurant was full, they were always friendly and you never had to wait long. Many other restaurants can follow this as a model.

The food was very good especially the Karpfens very good and also sometime they provide rice, but i hope they can make rice for everydays😂 the service very nice and also the Restaurant atmosphere with much oma and opa there the open until 14.30 CMIIW and open again for Dinner the place also big and nice. I recommendation for people like me first time eat Karpfens 😃

Good German cuisine. Portions were generous and food was very tasty. Only the apple fritters were a bit too dark for me, but they still tasted good. What was also positive was the fresh cream on the dessert and no spray cream from a can. Personally, I think the drink prices are a bit high. Food prices ok so far. The only major point of criticism would be that there are no vegetables or side salads with some main dishes. I just expect sauerkraut with the Schäuferle. And a salad with the schnitzel. I don't know why it's so widespread that in many restaurants you now always have to pay extra for the side dishes. If the prices for food become more expensive, I generally expect the size of the dish to at least remain the same. The service was very good. Absolutely friendly and fast. All in all, a nice evening there. Would love to come back.

The restaurant is rather rustic. The food tastes very good. A selection of vegetarian dishes is desirable. The price/performance ratio is very good. The portions are enough to fill you up. Parking is difficult. But there are options in the area that are then connected to a footpath.

Classic Fränkisch Restaurant ran by a young and super friendly team. I wanted to test the local specialty (fried carp) and I am happy to report that it was perfect: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, nicely flavoured, freshly fried, just as expected. Definitely a good place to enjoy this local delicacy during the season (between late fall and early spring). 👍

We were visiting our son in Fürth and wanted to enjoy home-style cooking in the evening... the schnitzels were great, the sauerbraten with dumpling and sauce was a poem... after we saw the plates of food whiz past us, we decided on the Schäuffele , it was a very good decision, totally delicious. Our young male waiter was nice and really on the ball... Please don't be put off by the interior ambience, the food is simply great, we will definitely come here again...

Excellent Franconian cuisine. We had Schäufele, carp, schnitzel, pork medallions with spaetzle and beef fillet. The service was on point and you never had to wait long, it was very friendly and the food tasted great.

Our visit to the Restaurant zum Stadtwappen was a complete success. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which immediately made us feel cozy. The furnishings exude an authentic, rustic charm that perfectly rounds off the ambience. The service was also excellent and fit seamlessly into the harmonious overall picture. The highlight of the evening, however, was the food – it was simply outstanding! In terms of taste at the highest level and absolutely fair in terms of price, we enjoyed every bite. Overall, we really enjoyed everything about that evening. A place that we can fully recommend!

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und bodenständig. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl zu super fairen Preisen. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal dort und es hat Erwachsenen und Kindern wirklich gut geschmeckt.

The restaurant makes really good schäufele, some sort of crispy pork roast, and I’d definitely recommend it! It is not a dry piece of meat, so if you don’t like a bit of fat on your meat, this is not for you. The Schnitzel was delicious and giant! The food is really excellent and the service ladies very very nice. We’d come again, that’s for sure.

Great Restaurant with good old German style food. it has a very nice, small Biergarten style backyard area.

There is a small beer garden in the courtyard, which is actually quite cute, except that the cooling compressor starts every now and then and hums in your ears. There's still room for improvement when it comes to eating, there's a lot of salt involved everywhere. And for the “Spätzle” you should definitely change the supplier, everyone else is better! The service is extremely friendly and quick!

Unfortunately, I had to throw away the gravy with no meat flavor and spicy red cabbage, amazingly, with cranberries in it. Ordered two different roasts to take away. The meat and chips were of good quality. We used to love coming, but the kitchen was even better back then.
