Great economy with good food. The baked carp was very good. The prices are okay. The two service guys were great. Even though the restaurant was full, they were always friendly and you never had to wait long. Many other restaurants can take this as a model.

The food was very good especially the Karpfens very good and also sometime they provide rice, but i hope they can make rice for everydays😂 the service very nice and also the Restaurant atmosphere with much oma and opa there the open until 14.30 CMIIW and open again for Dinner the place also big and nice. I recommendation for people like me first time eat Karpfens 😃

Good German cuisine. Portions were generous and food was very tasty. Only the apple fritters were a bit too dark for me, but they still tasted good. What was also positive was the fresh cream on the dessert and no spray cream from a can. Personally, I think the drink prices are a bit high. Food prices ok so far. The only major point of criticism would be that there are no vegetables or side salads with some main dishes. I just expect sauerkraut with the Schäuferle. And a salad with the schnitzel. I don't know why it's so widespread that in many restaurants you now always have to pay extra for the side dishes. If the prices for food become more expensive, I generally expect the size of the dish to at least remain the same. The service was very good. Absolutely friendly and fast. All in all, a nice evening there. Would love to come back.

The restaurant is rather rustic. The food tastes very good. A selection of vegetarian dishes is desirable. The price/performance ratio is very good. The portions are enough to fill you up. Parking is difficult. But there are options in the area that are then connected to a footpath.

Classic Fränkisch Restaurant ran by a young and super friendly team. I wanted to test the local specialty (fried carp) and I am happy to report that it was perfect: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, nicely flavoured, freshly fried, just as expected. Definitely a good place to enjoy this local delicacy during the season (between late fall and early spring). 👍

We were visiting our son in Fürth and wanted to enjoy home-style cooking in the evening... the schnitzels were great, the sauerbraten with dumpling and sauce was a poem... after we saw the plates of food whiz past us, we decided on the Schäuffele , it was a very good decision, totally delicious. Our young male waiter was nice and really on the ball... Please don't be put off by the interior ambience, the food is simply great, we will definitely come here again...

Excellent Franconian cuisine. We had Schäufele, carp, schnitzel, pork medallions with spaetzle and beef fillet. The service was on point and you never had to wait long, it was very friendly and the food tasted great.

Our visit to the Restaurant zum Stadtwappen was a complete success. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which immediately made us feel cozy. The furnishings exude an authentic, rustic charm that perfectly rounds off the ambience. The service was also excellent and fit seamlessly into the harmonious overall picture. The highlight of the evening, however, was the food – it was simply outstanding! In terms of taste at the highest level and absolutely fair in terms of price, we enjoyed every bite. Overall, we really enjoyed everything about that evening. A place that we can fully recommend!

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und bodenständig. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl zu super fairen Preisen. Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal dort und es hat Erwachsenen und Kindern wirklich gut geschmeckt.

The restaurant makes really good schäufele, some sort of crispy pork roast, and I’d definitely recommend it! It is not a dry piece of meat, so if you don’t like a bit of fat on your meat, this is not for you. The Schnitzel was delicious and giant! The food is really excellent and the service ladies very very nice. We’d come again, that’s for sure.

Very rustic (a bit old) but also quaint. The food (liver dumpling soup and Schäufele with dumpling) was very tasty. Prices were very reasonable.

Great Restaurant with good old German style food. it has a very nice, small Biergarten style backyard area.

There is a small beer garden in the courtyard, which is actually quite cute, except that the cooling compressor starts every now and then and hums in your ears. There's still room for improvement when it comes to eating, there's a lot of salt involved everywhere. And for the “Spätzle” you should definitely change the supplier, everyone else is better! The service is extremely friendly and quick!

Unfortunately, I had to throw away the gravy with no meat flavor and spicy red cabbage, amazingly, with cranberries in it. Ordered two different roasts to take away. The meat and chips were of good quality. We used to love coming, but the kitchen was even better back then.

Angelockt von den Außentafeln freuten wir uns auf einen Karpfen. Zunächst wurden wir an einen Tisch gepresst, obwohl im Nebenzimmer genug Platz gewesen wäre. Fazit bei der Bestellung, Karpfen gibt es nicht mehr. Dann entschlossen wir uns für ebenso angepriesene gebackene Forellen. Gab es auch nicht. Wir entschieden uns dann für gebackene Leber, die in einem nicht mehr ganz frischen Fett gebraten wurde. Aber es ging.

Zuerst meine Kritik 😒 Ich wollte einen normalen Karpfen essen, so wie es sich gehört, ich hatte ein paar Tage vorher auch extra angerufen und reserviert. Als ich dann dort war hieß es das die keinen Karpfen mehr haben, alles ist weg. Da war ich ganz schön sauer 😠, ich wollte schon wieder gehen, aber dann haben die mir erklärt wie das Karpfenfilet auf dem Teller ausschaut, es ist wie der echte Karpfen, mit Schwanzflosse, aber ohne Kopf und ohne Gräten. Ich habe mich dann doch überreden lassen und Leute, ich habe es nicht bereut, 👏👏😊. Jetzt das Gute 👍👍😁 Das Karpfenfilet war sehr lecker, keine Gräten, (außer 4-5 ganz dicke Gräten unten, wo die Bauchflosse war), das Filet gab es mit einer Scheibe Zitrone und einem guten gemischten Salat. Die Gastwirte sind sehr nett, sympathisch, es war gemütlich und das Lokal ist gröööößer als erwartet 😯. Also ich würde da sehr gerne mal wieder hingehen und ein gutes Fränkisches Gericht genießen 😁. Weil die Karpfen, trotz Vorbestellung aus waren, gab es einen Punkt Abzug, ansonsten hätte ich 5 volle Punkte gegeben, 👍👍🥰. Ach ja, die Kosten betrugen sich bei dem Gericht, (Mittleres Karpfenfilet + gemischter Salat 18,90€ + ein Radler 0,5l für 3,20€. Ich gab 25€ weil es mir dann doch sehr gut geschmeckt hat und weil die Servicekräfte nette Leute waren 👍👍😁.

The carp chips here are very good. In combination with the potato and green salad, this combination goes really well together. The service is good and the staff friendly. Perfect for holiday dinners. A reservation here is recommended. You can order and pick up food for certain days with just one call. You can also bring your own boxes.

A Good Friday disaster. We had made a reservation by phone and so we got a table for three. The service was with us quickly and the drinks and salads with the carp we ordered came just as quickly. Salads were very good! But then nothing worked anymore. After three quarters of an hour it was revealed to us that there were no more carp for us, carp were out, according to the waitress. Alternatively, we were offered Ingreisch from carp. We agreed. Then, wait again. After another fifteen minutes there was still nothing to eat and a beer, which we had ordered twice, didn't come either. Then communication with the staff became so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. So no recommendation from us today, although the carp looked delicious as it passed us and was continually served to other guests. Not a nice Good Friday evening for us.

I've wanted to eat a carp again for a long time and was absolutely not disappointed! Carp and the salad with it are absolutely delicious!! Service was very polite and accommodating!! Always my pleasure!! 10/10

Quaint inn with a lot of charm and very friendly waitresses!!! Even without a reservation but being very hungry, the girls assigned me a place... the roast venison was very tender and the sauce was a poem!!!

Simply a childhood memory, my father was at Christa's as a young man, a real landlady and mother who always had an ear open for everyone in his usual place to the left of the tavern. So she could see who came to the inn and always knew what was going on, so she was always good and up to date with the latest news in Fürth and the surrounding area. Whether it was local politicians or celebrities from near and far, she had everyone covered deals with whether the mayor was a singer or pop star. In short, for me it is a piece of Fürth history without which Fürth would not be what it is. And fortunately, this was able to be preserved as best as possible by the current operators, because my Franconian soul would be sad if this cultural asset were no longer there. The food was typically Franconian, very tasty, everything you need if you like home cooking, you can get it here. I had a soup as a starter, a liver dumpling soup that couldn't have been better, no seasoning was necessary. As a main course, a sauerbraten with dumplings, a Söschen with the neileng. And for dessert, apple cake with vanilla ice cream. Afterwards I was the happiest Franconian in the world.😇 Four of us had dinner and were happy that we had something so good to eat. The funeral was very, very nice and accommodating. We had a lovely evening and unfortunately it's no longer so commonplace these days to find such a great Franconian restaurant in Fürth. All in all, I'm happy that traditions are upheld here, not because I'm someone who's old-fashioned, but because certain things and traditions are simply important. And fortunately the operators have recognized this and are doing it brilliantly. And I would be happy if my son could one day have the same wonderful feeling there as his dad and grandpa.

Good address with room for groups. Pay attention to the times because the kitchens close early. They would have refused our group if we had arrived after 8 p.m. However, it is possible to stay later if you order in advance. We were there on a Monday evening and the service was a little slow. The cuisine, however, was good and of high quality.

Unfortunately there was no room to eat there, so we ordered the whole thing to take away. The carp was really extremely good, and above all a decent portion. I usually eat a lot, but I couldn't completely destroy half the carp in one go. It's nice that you get more for your money than you need to fill yourself up. Here you can get the best carp in the city, but the menu only includes meat and fish. Vegetarians can order a maximum of one side salad. Most of the dishes are completely without vegetables or you can just order the side salad. If you like 1950s restaurants, the shabby appearance of the restaurant may not bother you. But as I said, the best carp makes up for everything else. Prices are low. Otherwise a lot of meat and carbohydrates for little money in a shabby atmosphere.
