Gaststätte Zum Kyffhäuser in Bad Ems

Has on Thursday July 22nd. simply closed at 6:30 p.m. Okay, it's legal, but it doesn't say anywhere. Funny. I find it unreliable.

The view over Bad Ems is great. The Belle Epoque ambience with pictures of Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm also has style. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. On Saturday lunchtime there were no more fried or baked potatoes. The little apple strudel wasn't convincing either.

Had dinner there on February 15, 2025. Very nicely located on the Lahn opposite the city center of Bad Ems, very nice ambience, even in February when the weather is cloudy. Easy to find, parking wasn't a problem, it wasn't crowded even on Saturday. Service was very friendly and attentive, the food came very quickly. Excellent in terms of taste and preparation, rarely eaten in such a delicious Italian way. Even the mixed salad was a work of art, which is anything but a given in Italian cuisine. So the bottom line is grazie mille, a very successful evening, we would be happy to come back, absolutely recommended!

I had the best cheese soup ever...the steak was spot on too fried....super tender and with delicious salad and fries..price wise..very good service..fast..recommended...there are, among other things, very tasty schnitzels
