The food selection was excellent, and our own selection was delicious. The ambiance was fitting, and the service very attentive. Highly recommended. The restaurant is located directly on the riverside path between Cafe Tucholsky and the boat docks. You'll automatically pass by it if you walk along the riverside path from Rheinsberg Castle.

A restaurant that may be quite small, but the food, and especially all the sauces, are simply divine. I highly recommend it. Reservations are recommended. There is wheelchair access. The service is very friendly and welcoming—almost like a family atmosphere.

A lovely little restaurant right on the water. Attentive and charming service. Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us. The fish was a bit bland and not entirely flavorful.

Two of us came here for lunch. The ambiance in the restaurant is really lovely; weather permitting, you can even sit outside. We received a very friendly greeting and service. After a short wait, the drinks arrived. After another not-so-long wait, the food arrived. What can I say? The small menu had given us hope that everything would be freshly cooked. And that's exactly how it was. The two dishes, Rheinsberger Tellerfisch (sautéed fish) and Matjes (shrimp) were amazing. The Tellerfisch (shrimp) came with delicious, fresh vegetables and a fantastic sauce. The Matjes (shrimp) was served with fresh, delicious fried potatoes and a fantastic fish marinade. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is located on the small promenade directly on Lake Rheinsberg. From the terrace, you can enjoy a comfortable view of the lake, while organ players entertain the guests with their loud music! The fillet plate, featuring three delicacies from local waters, was very tasty. Unfortunately, I may have "fished out" the smallest zander fillet with the most bones! I don't expect bones from a fish fillet! However, the waitress pointed out to me when serving the plate that there might be bones in the zander fillet. Actually, everything was delicious, except for the zander fillet, which ended up on the napkin, or rather, the rest remained on the plate!

I ate here on a recommendation and was very disappointed. The food was completely overpriced: herring with fried potatoes for €18! The service left a lot to be desired, especially since I found it very unpleasant that the waiter loudly complained to his colleague that the guests were now sitting outside and that they shouldn't complain if it rains, so they just can't come in, after all, they have reservations. WHAT???? I don't recommend it, just keep walking past the fish stall on the street. There's a restaurant on the right that offers better food for half the price.

We ordered the pike-perch fillet. The food was good. Interestingly, they served it with lentils, which wasn't on the menu. But okay, it wasn't the end of the world, and we accepted it. The service was friendly, and the wait was reasonable. We sat outside on the terrace and had a lovely view of the harbor. All in all, we would eat there again.

Fresh fish, as if it had just been waving in the lake. 🐟 There's a pig living in the garden that laughed at me while I ate its colleague. 🐷 Friendly service, a holiday-like atmosphere – don't forget your cash! 💶

The food here – with a view of the lake – is truly excellent; the service is attentive and prompt. The menu is pleasantly concise, and the dishes are down-to-earth and delicious. It's advisable to make a reservation – although we were lucky enough to snag a table just before the evening rush. It was worth it.

Delicious food. Reasonable prices. Fairly friendly service. The ambiance is rather average. Outdoor seating is unbearable after 6 p.m. in the 30-degree summer heat and sunshine. As the evening progresses, there's no shade left. Bottom line: Order, eat well, and then get out of here.

I am outraged. My family and I have eaten here several times and were relatively pleased because a younger, nicer waiter served us. This time, however, we were very negatively surprised. The service was abysmal. We only made a few normal changes to the food. The waitress was very annoyed and accepted our requests and wrote them down. Then another waitress came and asked us again. We explained it to her nicely. Then after waiting for over an hour, the food came out differently than ordered. We accepted it anyway and nicely pointed out to the waitress that it was different to what was ordered. Then she tried to prove herself right and told us that she had specifically asked again, which was true, but the food still came out wrong. We then spoke to other customers who also found the service staff very annoyed and cheeky. We have rarely experienced something so disrespectful. An absolute rip-off. Would not recommend it.

Is the price/performance ratio right? The website needs to be redesigned!

During peak season, it's difficult to get a table without a reservation. However, the service made it possible. The fish dish I ordered was rather disappointing, which was certainly due to the side dishes, which didn't quite match the flavors. The ambiance isn't conducive to lingering.

I took a trip to Rheinsberg and had lunch there. They open promptly at 12:00. Tables are usually reserved in advance.

A real insider tip on the water – the Zum Fischerhof restaurant really impressed me! If you're looking for fresh fish, honest cuisine and a really nice atmosphere, you've come to the right place. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The restaurant has a wonderfully idyllic location right on the lake - with a great view of the water, which is simply fantastic, especially when the weather is nice. I sat outside and really enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely top! Of course I had fish - what else would you expect from a fisherman's farm - and it was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and wonderfully aromatic. It couldn't be fresher! Plus homemade side dishes, everything lovingly prepared and with really good taste. The portions are also more than fair - you'll definitely get full without feeling overloaded. The staff was super warm, attentive and wonderfully down to earth. No fake friendliness, but genuine interest and honest hospitality – that makes a big difference to me. I was given excellent advice about what to choose and felt really welcome. The whole atmosphere is rustic, cozy and very well maintained. Inside and outside you can feel the attention to detail and the joy of being a host. Overall, a thoroughly successful visit that will definitely make you want to come back. If you are in Rheinsberg and want to enjoy good food in beautiful surroundings, you should definitely stop by here. Clear 5 stars for the Zum Fischerhof restaurant – absolutely recommended!

Very pleasant restaurant, very good fresh food, great and courteous service, a reservation is recommended at mealtime from around 5.30 p.m., especially if you want to sit on the terrace in great weather like today...

We were an English family group of 12 people, 8 adults and four children. Pre-booking a day in advance worked well. The waitress spoke good English with a little effort and was very accommodating. The fish meal was excellent and the ambience was good too, with a view of the lake.

Incredibly delicious fish, we had the Rheinsberger Trio plate fish - highly recommended! Great service, children's chairs available. Prices higher than shown in the pictures here, but still appropriate for the quality given inflation etc. We'd love to come back!

Bass with coconut curry sauce and...a composition worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Regular prices: €22. A truly cozy, small atmosphere with a lake view and, as mentioned, great food: including the salmon spinach pasta ;-)

Food seems to be good according to the menu. Should make more effort to communicate. Table request via contact form, not even an answer, no one answers the phone.

Looks lovely, unpretentious and cosy. BUT: while waiting for a table becoming free we were invisible to the staff, generally ignored. When asking for a table the answer was “no”. Nothing like waiting, coming back later. No. No matter that there were two tables free and another one was just receiving their bill. No matter that we had a little child with us. No. Later that day we were treated in Ratskeller with dignity and enjoyed our stay.

It is a bit more expensive but worth the price. The only thing that is still working is the furnishings and the classic nightcap on the house was missing

Very good and exotic food, at least I wouldn't have expected fried perch in a coconut sauce and with fried banana in Rheinsberg. But very tasty & worth recommending 👍. We were lucky because we were early and got a table for 2 people with a great view even without a reservation. For a short time it got busier and busier…

One of the few fish restaurants where you can still get very good local fish. B. is served on the fish platter!!! Tasty fried and not glazed, you can still eat your fish here in a non-ideological way. The catfish in particular was fantastic, a fish that hardly anyone dares to enjoy because it is not considered "noble" enough. What a stupid notion. The fish remains fish and you can do without any spices. The accompanying mustard sauce is made from real mustard: a delicacy! A nice little fish restaurant with friendly service and moderate prices.

Nicely located, right on the water, but old-fashioned and tasteless. I had pike perch fillet with fried potatoes… I got fried potatoes with bacon. When I informed the waitress of this, she unimpressedly placed the menu in front of me and showed me the note at the end of the meat dishes (which, as a pescatarian, I completely ignored) that fried potatoes were prepared with bacon. The same was with my daughter. Pike perch fillet was very salty. The vegetables from Rheinsberger Tellerfisch that my husband had tasted like they came from a can. Unfortunately, not only can I not recommend this restaurant, but I can also advise against visiting it.

If you're looking for good fish in Rheinsberg, you can't miss this restaurant. The menu is small, but everything is freshly prepared. You can taste that too. In the high season, reservations must be made because the places are filled quickly, especially when the weather is not that good. Those who eat outside can enjoy the view over the lake. Good staff completes the good overall impression. We'd love to come back.

The children's food was okay...unfortunately one meal came wrong... My wife's fish plate was okay except for the pike, which was more rubbery than fish... Price performance not okay in our opinion... The guest room is full of flies, which isn't a good idea... We won't eat there a second time.

Very good fish restaurant. Attractive ambience with an outdoor terrace when the weather is nice. Nice and fast service. I had walleye on lentil vegetables which was excellent. The prices are within reason. In high season you should make a reservation. I was completely satisfied and would love to come back.

The food was very tasty. We were there with a larger group (9) and we got everything warm and almost at the same time. Service was absolutely top. There was only one service employee there to take care of everything. Be it taking orders, serving drinks, distributing food and clearing away. So hats off to you really. I don't have to say anything about the ambience. The pictures say it all.

Despite reservations, we came into the back room with dirty tablecloths and old serving dishes under the table runner. Service was unfriendly. After 1 hour we received the much too sour cucumber salad upon request. We then left the restaurant and only paid for the drinks. Thank you for the unforgettable evening.
