I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the service is very quick.

This is our second time in Rheinsberg and we always enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. We'd happily return every year :)

Horrid food! I haven't eaten such substandard and greasy food in a long time. The waiters are very unreliable and don't accommodate customer requests. Vegetarians and vegans are only given half portions. Never again.

Food is a matter of taste!!! We ate here twice on vacation. And we were very satisfied! Very friendly staff who explained everything to us and (when there's time) were happy to have a chat. The menu for two people... absolutely delicious!!! Baked duck... a dream! And for starters, a sweet and spicy soup... amazing! Personally, I found the fried noodles a bit too greasy/oily, and the egg rice had too much roasted flavor... but, as I said, it's all a matter of taste! One-star reviews are clearly from people who just want to criticize. We were satisfied, full, and happy. Prices are absolutely OK, and the food is definitely better than a deep-fried schnitzel for €21. We can definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back (if our vacation takes us back to this region)! Thank you for the delicious food

We've been coming to Rheinsberg for many years. The food at this restaurant is always excellent, and the portions are generous. The service and ambiance are also excellent. Unfortunately, the owners here are also experiencing staff shortages, as is the case throughout Germany. Nevertheless, they dedicate themselves to their guests with dedication. We'll be making another visit today and are already looking forward to the food.

Had a family dinner, the owner/waitress was visibly overwhelmed with the service, often grimaced and gave stroppy answers, that's not possible!! I was told the next day that no one really liked the food (everyone probably wanted to be polite to me). I don't go there anymore.

Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans as almost all dishes are served with meat. The waiters were nice so far, but they only respond to requests when you ask them about it the third time. The stalls there are pretty hard and relatively cold. We gave the portion to the waitress and said to please warm it up a little. You also save money on the accompanying sauce, which is why you have to ask for more sauce first. We probably won't visit this restaurant again, but I would like to thank the waiters and chefs.

We really like going to the Chinese restaurant “GROSSE MAUER” in the Rhin Passage in Rheinsberg. The selection on the menu is huge, the food is very tasty and the portions are very large. My favorites are the baked duck with pineapple or the Szetchuan duck with cashew nuts or the baked three things. The service is friendly and quick and we can definitely recommend the Chinese restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.

Unfortunately the food was incomplete and not tasty. The sauces tasted like water and the baked banana like french fry fat. If you like it spicy, you won't get your money's worth here. To top it off, the employees complained about the low tip - when picking up, mind you... once and never again.

Here I got a meal of Togo (fried noodles with shrimp and crab meat). Portion was OK, but not for this price. In terms of taste, well, there are significantly better Asians.

Ein, vom Ambiente her, typisches China Restaurant, wie man es sich vorstellt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Speisen kommen recht schnell zubereitet auf den Tisch, geschmacklich echt top, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Schade nur, dass es keinen "Absacker" aufs Haus gab.

Service sehr freundlich, auf Wunsch wird ohne Glutamat gekocht, die Frühlingsrolle wird frisch zubereitet. Der Hauptgang war geschmacklich ok, allerdings erwarte ich schon beim dem Preis keine Dosen Champignons zum Einsatz kommen zudem war auch das restliche Gemüse für asiatische Küche recht weich.

Sehr gutes Essen , mega große Portionen und sehr günstig. Tolle freundliche Gastgeber. Gerne wieder zum essen hin.

Essen war gut Bedienung sehr freundlich, Restaurant etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Leider hatten unsere Gerichte kaum Geschmack, wir mussten kräftig nachwürzen. Ansonsten sauber und freundliche Bedienung.

A very good and delicious restaurant, a lovely staff.

Wir haben eineinhalb Stunden aufs Essen gewartet. Das hat zu schlechter Laune geführt. Das Essen hat dann aber sehr gut geschmeckt. Ärgerlich war auch, dass ständig Raucher heraus kamen, die die Atemluft mit unangehmem Zigaretten- und Zigarillorauch anreicherten. Trotz des guten Essens werden wir dort nicht mehr einkehren.
