We walked into a Christmas party 😱 But we still got a table. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and friendly.

I've visited the Volksgarten restaurant several times now, and it's always a wonderful experience. The ambiance, the friendly owners, and the delicious food keep drawing my family and me back. They're always happy to accommodate special requests, and the ever-changing menu (which, by the way, is displayed on a chalkboard near the table) ensures there's always something new to try. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious every time. The staff are super friendly and have a great sense of humor. In winter, you can sit inside by the fireplace, and in summer, you can relax outside and watch the hustle and bustle of the restaurant.

It's become a beloved tradition to enjoy the St. Martin's goose at the Volksgarten restaurant. The chef and waitress are very friendly and quick, and the goose is tender, with the dumplings and red cabbage perfect.

My partner and I often go to the Volksgarten restaurant, usually to end the evening or weekend comfortably with a drink, but also to eat. We had already organized a celebration there. The review is actually long overdue! 😁 Why? Here everything is made from scratch and everything is cooked with heart and soul, which you not only see when the food is prepared, but also always tastes delicious! The portions are always ideal in our opinion, not too much and not too little. Individual wishes can also be fulfilled here after consultation. ✨ Stefan, the owner and chef, always does his job excellently. But just like the soul of the house: Betti! 🥰 She serves the guests with humor and natural charm, is attentive and always friendly, even when she is under a lot of stress. I would also definitely like to highlight the constantly changing dishes on the menu, which we find interesting and exciting. Because the food is seasonal and regional and there is variety, which makes eating out a surprise every time. We only shop here as needed, as Stefan is very careful not to waste any food - which is another plus point for us at the Volksgarten restaurant. There is actually always something for vegetarians. The atmosphere is nice and rustic and the music is always good. 😃👍🏻 With so much sense, intellect, sustainability and passion, I can definitely give 5 stars in every area with full conviction. Call, reservation is worth it!

Friendly staff and delicious food

Like to go here for lunch. You should always call beforehand. However, there are usually spontaneous spaces available. The food always varies according to the season and is written down on a board. So there is always something different to eat. In general, the majority of the food is from German cuisine, but with a modern twist. We've never had a bad meal here and the prices are unbeatable.

Great cozy and delicious food, spontaneous and quick. We were very satisfied, thank you very much. And we will be happy to come more often in the summer of 2025. 😃

I was there shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday and it was closed - opening hours are stated until 11 p.m. (see homepage). Long opening hours were also advertised on site. A pity. For me, that's a reason to avoid this place if you're juggling the opening times as you need them.

First of all: you should always call and make a reservation in advance, because depending on how many people want to come, the kitchen will open or remain closed. Otherwise, damn tasty food, at fair prices and very nice service. It won't be the last time.

We recently went to this garden restaurant to have dinner. Unfortunately we were disappointed. When we sat down and went to place our order, the waitress informed us that it was drinks only and that if you wanted to eat, you had to call and make a reservation a day in advance. The reasoning was that they didn't want to throw away so much food. This approach is unacceptable to us. We were looking forward to a nice evening with good food and instead we were turned away. For this reason we will not visit this garden restaurant again.

Garden pub with the flair of yesteryear. Very nice and friendly service. Not fine dining, but schnitzel is always possible.

It was our first time in this location and we were really impressed by the service, the food and the overall coziness and warmth. You have to order the seats in advance because the food (which is very good) is tailored to the capacities. So the menu changes.

Sehr gutes Ambiente für Groß und Klein. Waren als vierköpfige Familie dort . Ständige Wechselnde frische Tageskarte. Wir waren mit Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sehr positiv überrascht. Kleine gemütliche Gartengaststätte im urigen Stil mit sehr guten Personal 😀

Es gibt eine kleine, aber ständig wechselnde Karte. Immer sehr lecker. Gute Portionen. Mit Liebe gekocht und an den Tisch gebracht. Vielen Dank an dieses wunderbare Team,wir sind immer wieder gerne dort. Auch größere Feiern liefen super.

Ich bin erstaunt und begeistert. Der Ort ist urig und Gartenkneipik - Auf das Herz kommt es an. Wenn der Koch sein Reh noch selbst ausnimmt ... Das einzige was hier fest steht ist die Getränke Karte. Die Speisekarte wird täglich neu gemacht, sodass man immer wieder was neues essen kann. Wenn man ein Wunschessen hat, wird das auch extra für einen zubereitet, wenn alle Zutaten vorhanden sind. Ich habe noch keine Gastronomie erlebt wo das so ist. Die Preise sind alle angemessen und das Personal ist super zuvorkommend. Ich würde mehr als 5 Sterne geben wenn ich könnte 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier, super Büfett und nette Bedienung. Würde ich immer weiter empfehlen.
