Very good food, gluten-free options vegan or with meat as you like, good service, outdoor seating... everything is great. Unfortunately, the buns and dumplings are not gluten-free But there are summer rolls, salads, rice noodle salad, curry, crispy fries and gluten-free dessert options.

We always loved being here. Unfortunately a big disappointment today. Instead of the nice and courteous bartender who always worked here and who fulfilled all wishes, there was now a very arrogant gentleman in the service... 30 fancy cocktails on the menu but the wish for a simple classic Margherita cannot be fulfilled. .. wouldn't be a bad thing if the man hadn't reacted as if you had ordered pink elephant fillet. It's a shame about the beautiful restaurant, the food was great - unfortunately the service has declined significantly.

Great restaurant, delicious food, very friendly server. The only downside I found the restaurant a little noisy and it wasn't full. But in any case we will come back, it’s really very, very good 😍👍

Very nice reception, the service was able to give you good recommendations when choosing the food and the wide range of drinks with delicious exotic cocktails has something for every taste. We felt so comfortable that we spent two evenings there.

The food was really delicious and the cocktails were very extravagant. All in all very very good. The service was very quick and attentive. I'll definitely come back because I still have to try the other dishes and cocktails.

A small, somewhat inconspicuous cocktail bar in Reudnitz, but definitely a hot tip for the evening! Asian food fusion including tapas and bao buns are perfect for small and medium-sized appetites. But the real pearls can be found on the extensive cocktail menu with many creative variations that amaze the eyes and the palate. All of this in an atmospheric ambience that could easily spill over into the outdoor seating area. The slightly higher prices are okay for that. All in all, an absolute tip for cocktail lovers and those who want to end their visit to the cinema. 🍸🍹

The restaurant is a little insider tip. If you like Asian cuisine, you have to go here. We were surprised with both the cocktails and the Asian tapas. It was all a dream.

Nice cozy restaurant. We ordered cocktails and Pho Bo. Food was very tasty. Due to health issues, my girlfriend can't eat sugar/syrup, which is often in the cocktails. The waiter asked her what she wanted her cocktail to look like (color, taste, glitter :)) and just made something based on clues 😂 Girlfriend was happy with the result.

Very good food, lots of choice for vegetarians and vegans too, and the cocktail menu is a masterpiece! Only the places outside on a main street are a bit less relaxed now, perhaps something could be improved with privacy screens or something similar.

I love the restaurant! It's super pretty and the service is great, especially with the cocktail advice :D I think the food is great! We had a little bit of everything but I'll definitely be back to try the rest! I don't even have to start with the cocktails, we had a total of 12 different cocktails, every special request was catered for and every cocktail was incredibly tasty, although I had a clear favorite 😅 Big recommendation!

I really enjoy visiting the Cáo! Everything is just right here, an absolute feel-good atmosphere. The food is super tasty and not the typical Vietnamese food you get everywhere. The menu is extensive and creative with a super fair price/performance ratio. I love the triangle starter, the vegan bao bun is amazing and I can't leave without the liver sausage dessert (vegan mousse au chocolat). The alcoholic selection is amazing, but the non-alcoholic drinks are also delicious and the selection of mocktails is absolutely convincing. My favorite here is Cori (see photo). 😊 See for yourself!

Ohne Vorwissen was uns erwartet, sind wir schnurschtraks aus dem Regina-Kino ins Cao gegangen. Wirklich eine gute Entscheidung hier einzukehren. Beim eintreten in die Bar empfängt einen freundlicher Service und eine unglaublich tolle Bar. Das Essen sowie der unaufdringliche aber dennoch sehr aufmerksame Service haben uns überzeugt noch einmal wieder zu kommen. Weiter si Cao-Team

A decent spot for cocktails near city centre. All drinks that I have tried here are delicious. You can just tell the batender your preferences and he will make you a super nice personalized cocktail. In the pic is a Tiramisu Martini 💕

Das Essen und die Cocktails sind super lecker. Was fehlt ist eine wechselnde Angebotskarte oder Tagesgerichte. Wenn man öfter mal hingeht wird es schnell langweilig, weil es nur wenige Gerichte gibt.

Schöner Ort, um etwas zu essen und einen zu trinken. Eine riesige Auswahl an Cocktails, die außerdem sehr stark waren. Selbst für größere Gruppen ist dieser Ort geeignet, denn wir fanden selbst unangekündigt mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen Platz. Dazu noch eine großartige und freundliche Bedienung. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Zig mal vorbei gelaufen und nach langer Zeit doch einmal oder zweimal ausprobiert. Positiv überrascht über die Größe des Ofens die man von außen nicht erkennt und die wenig „kitschige“ Einrichtung. Geschmackvoll dezent. Das essen ist lecker und sehr reichlich. Die Cocktails haben außergewöhnliche Namen und sind in der Tat auch gut.

Leckeres Essen und tolle Drinks. Fühlt sich innen eher wie eine Lounge-Bar als ein Restaurant an, sehr gemütliches Ambiente.

Super Cocktailkarte! Der Barkeeper kreiert diese alle selbst, sodass man hier nicht nur die Standard Cocktails findet, sondern außergewöhnliche und sehr kreative. Man kann sich auch eine persönliche Empfehlung geben lassen und wird schnell bedient. Einziger Nachteil, nach 22 Uhr kann man nicht mehr draußen sitzen, aber drinnen ist das Ambiente sowieso viel schöner. Geht hin und überzeugt euch selbst.

Immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis bei Cao! Die Bao Bun sind ein Traum! Auch die Tapas überzeugen immer wieder. Sie eignen sich entweder als Vorspeise oder zum Teilen für den ganzen Tisch (man sollte dann so ca. 3 Tapas pro Person bestellen). In jedem Tapas-Schälchen sind 4 Stück drin. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, schnell und professionell. Auch die Cocktails sind ihren Preis wert. Für jeden Cocktail gibt es ein spezielles Glas, alle werden mit viel Liebe gemixt.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Café, superleckerer Kuchen und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Rundum perfekt, kommen gerne wieder.

So lecker, ich weiß leider gar nicht, warum es so leer war. Das Essen ist super. Innen ist es ruhig und modern eingerichtet. Draußen ist es logischerweise laut, weil direkt an der Dresdner Straße. Aber abends stört das auch nicht mehr. Geht dort hin. Füllt das Restaurant, es ist mega. Die Cocktails und Drinks übrigens auch.

Alles zufrieden. Freundliche Service. viel Auswahl zur Cocktail. Das Essen war köstlich, die Soße von Tapas war über lecker. Gib verschiedene Räume für die privatleute. Ganz romantisch

Das Cao vermittelt den Eindruck einer guten Cocktailbar, modern eingerichtet, aber dennoch gemütlich. Die Vielfalt der Getränkekarte lässt eigentlich nichts zu wünschen übrig und das Essen schmeckt auch noch!

Ein Kleinod in der Umgebung! Ob man nun für ein leichtes Essen oder für die umwerfenden Cocktails kommt – im Cáo fühlt man sich stets willkommen. Die Musik ist unaufdringlich, das Licht angenehm, die Atmosphäre clean und gemütlich. Und wer zunächst ein bisschen überfordert von ist von der Getränkekarte, frage einfach den Chef des Hauses und der Bar – er ist immerhin einer der besten Cocktailistas des Landes. (Also gönnt euch unbedingt eine Milenka!)

Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Kreative Cocktails mit hochwertigen Zutaten, schöne Speisen von Bio Vegan bis Fleich. Ambiente ist stilvoll und das Personal ist freundlich, kompetent und kreativ.

Einer der besten und einzigen kulinarischen Adressen für die asiatische bzw. Vietnamesische Küche in Leipzig Reudnitz. Die Fusionküche bietet nicht nur die wohl beste Pho Bo sondern auch super kreative Drinks für oder nach dem Afterwork an. Ich werde sicher ganz bald wieder Gast sein :-)

My partner and I come here all the time and get the drink called "Linda's Unschuld," it's like a creamy alcohol-free pina colada, super yummy! The baos are delicious, impossible to not get. Cao is really good at balancing authentic Vietnamese cuisine with modern western tastes and aesthetically presents all platters. The interior is chic and elegant with tasteful neon lights and contemporary accent furniture. Definitely a perfect place for large groups or a cozy date night. Cao is a hidden gem, not too far from the city centre and much-needed in Reudnitz. The staff are very professional and polite, multi-lingual, with great attention to detail. I recommend Cao to anyone who is visiting Leipzig or lives in the city.
