We've been here at least 200 times now (as of June 25, 2025) – that's not a typo. We've been going at least once a week for the past four years. The menu is concise, but there's something for everyone. Everything is always freshly prepared and tastes absolutely delicious. For variety, there are always daily specials, where Zdenko Babic really shines. Asparagus lasagna, pizza with asparagus and Parma ham – which we just had and was fantastic. The best thing to do is try it yourself. We highly recommend it. The owner and his staff are always very friendly and attentive. We're regulars now and go there frequently. The last highlight was pork tenderloin with red wine plum sauce and gnocchi. What can I say – it was outstanding. Update August 13, 2022 Today we had pork tenderloin with chanterelle mushrooms, cream sauce, and tagliatelle. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the cream sauce was full of chanterelle mushrooms that were perfectly smooth. Simply delicious again. See photo. Update June 18, 2023 Today we had our first roast suckling pig on Zdenko's newly acquired rotisserie: a crispy grilled and very tasty suckling pig. This will be a regular dish in the future. Highly recommended, like everything else. Update March 1, 2024 I'm surprised to see that my post has now been read over 50,000 times and that it's always the same familiar faces here. I wonder when the first new faces will appear. Today I had seafood spaghetti, and my sweetheart had salmon pasta. Simply heavenly and beautifully presented. ... So – don't just read – try it out! You'll be full and the food will taste great! The menu is straightforward, and there are two daily specials! The prices are reasonable! We're satisfied! 🍀🍀🍀

We've rarely eaten so well. The prices are almost too low for the quality of the food. The owner uses only fresh, regional ingredients, directly from the producers. An insider tip. We're just annoyed that we only discovered this restaurant now.

Very good service & delicious pizza

Yesterday, for the first time, I felt the need to write a Google review. The bread platter with plenty of homemade smoked meats, lard, and fresh bread, beautifully arranged on a board and at a fair price, completely won me over. Unfortunately, something like this is rare these days. The espresso afterward and the warm, humorous service also perfected the evening.

It's a shame. I'd love to eat here more often, but the owner doesn't like dogs because dogs aren't allowed here. So, unfortunately, that's out of the question! I wonder who, as a host these days, can afford such a ban. Where's the hospitality in that?

Very good food. The menu should have something for every palate. They also cater to special requests. The food is always fresh, and you can taste that only the best ingredients are used. When there are a lot of guests, it can take a while. I'd rather wait a few minutes longer and be served a freshly prepared meal. His pork and roast pork are unbeatable. When he offers Croatian cuisine on the weekends, you shouldn't miss it.

Great, everything's fresh, and the owner is gluten-intolerant, so everything's gluten-free, including pizza, although you have to pre-order it. Keep it up!

Good and fresh food at normal prices

The first impression is fair to a sports restaurant. But the food is sensational for my taste. Thanks to the chef for the delicious food. Rarely have I had such good homemade pasta. The menu also includes meat dishes and pizzas. At the weekend there are always specialties such as suckling pig or Ćevapčići. In this case, reservations are almost essential! Conclusion: Here you really notice that it is really cooked and not warmed up or something similar.

For me personally, the restaurant is the number 1 insider tip in Augsburg and the surrounding area! Chef Zdenko pays absolute attention to the freshness, regionality and seasonality of his ingredients, which you can both see and taste in the dishes. The varied cuisine with daily specials leaves nothing to be desired. I regularly take friends and acquaintances there, all of whom are more than enthusiastic about the warm nature of Zdenko and his team and of course the cuisine. Always worth a visit!

Wir heute hier im Biergarten. Wir hatten einen sehr leckeren Vorspeisenteller. Honig Melone mir Serrano Schinken. Salami, Chorizo, dalmatinisches Roastbeef, Aubergine, Zucchini, Oliven und Tomate Mozzarella. Als Hauptspeise Spaghetti mit Scampi. Es war einfach sehr lecker. Ganz klare Empfehlung

Sagenhaftes Essen, besten Schnaps und dann noch Autenrieder Pils!!! Was will man mehr??? Absolut zu empfehlen! Das würde man bei einem Sportheim niemals erwarten! Habe heute ein weltklasse Pikata Milanese gegessen!
