Gaststätte Sälzerknecht in Bad Sassendorf

Wir haben fast eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet… Es war ok aber auch nichts besonderes, die Portionen waren ok. Getränke kamen direkt aber das Essen hat sehr lange auf sich warten lassen. Der Service war sehr schlecht bzw. die Kellnerin ist sehe unfreundlich und gibt patzige Antworten zurück und schreit die Gäste an. Einmal und nie wieder.

Alles soweit ok, wir waren zufrieden. Gemütlich zum Trinken und was dabei essen. Der Speck beim Flammkuchen hätte krosser sein können.

Eine wunderschöne Außengastronomie, die Getränke kühl serviert, das Essen perfekt, alles in allem, super Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder🙂

Ein echtes Gedicht! 🍳🥩 ​Die Getränke: Dazu gab es zwei herrlich frische Weizenbier. Geschmacklich und von der Qualität her einfach die Note 1 mit Sternchen! 🍻 ​Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Trotz der erstklassigen Qualität sind die Preise absolut bodenständig und zivil. Hier bekommt man noch richtig was für sein Geld geboten! ​Unser Fazit: Tolles Ambiente im Außenbereich, fantastische Qualität und ein Service, bei dem man sich einfach wohlfühlt. Wer in Bad Sassendorf ist und den Sälzer Knecht verpasst, ist selber schuld. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Vielen Dank für den tollen Geschmacksmoment! Absolute und uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! 👍

Nach unserem heutigen Besuch mehr als enttäuscht. Das Essen war nicht gut, sehr fettig und die Saußen ungenießbar. Mein Mann hatte ein anderes Schnitzel ( ohne Sauce ) was vor fett triefte. Sorry aber wir kommen nicht wieder. Nicht zu empfehlen!!!!

Ich hatte ein Champion Rahmschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat. Das Schnitzel war okay, aber die Sauce hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war genervt 😒 weil ein Gast ihn festgehalten hatte um was zu bestellen. Enttäuscht 😞

Eine gute Gaststätte in Bad Sassendorf, es gibt genügend Parkplätze für PKW und Behinderte Menschen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Eingang ist eben Erding und Behinderten gerecht, die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Kleine, überschaubare Karte, dafür aber sehr schmackhaft. Schnitzel absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Gaststätte im Kneipen Stil aber Service und Essen Sterne-würdig.

Ich war mit einem Kollegen aus der Rehaklinik hier zum Abendessen. Wir hatten das Schnitzel mit Champignons Sauce und Pommes. Das Essen war richtig lecker und auch reichlich. Auch das Bier 🍺 war top. Alles im allen ein schönes uriges Lokal. Und auch die Preise sind überschaubar. Macht gerne weiter so.

Schöne urige Kneipe. Gute Stimmung und das Essen war super. Preis - Leistung ist angemessen aufgrund der großen Portionen. Die Leute waren alle nett und freundlich und das Essen kam schnell. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Wir kamen in den Sälzer Knecht und waren sehr positiv beeindruckt von der Freundlichkeit und Offenherzlichkeit der Enkeling der Chefin.Sie hat den ganzen Abend die Gäste super bedient und war sehr aufmerksam. Weiter so in diesem Betrieb! Mit dieser netten Bedienung.

Vom 13.11.25-12.12.25 in Reha gewesen. Zur Abwechslung Abends im Sälzerknecht eingekehrt. Gut für Fußballübertragungen. Leckeres Essen. Am besten vorbestellen da es Abends immer voll ist!!! Nette Location, guter Service 👍🤘Tolle Leute. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung für Speisen und Getränke. Ich komme wieder!!!

Wirklich lecker! Preise angemessen bis sehr gut. Ehrliche Küche. Neben den Standardsachen wir wirklich gute Champignonrahmschnitzel auch immer unbedingt mal die saisonalen Sachen die draussen stehen ausprobieren. Ich hatte heute den Grünkohl und war begeistert.

We often eat here when we visit. The food is always delicious. However, we're always annoyed when the salad we ordered separately arrives with the main course, and we have to pay extra for side dishes other than fries, such as croquettes or fried potatoes. It's unnecessary and significantly detracts from the restaurant's reputation!

The food is okay, though a few soups and simple regional dishes are missing. Service is excellent! The ambiance is beautiful.

We ate there today. We had a portion of Leberkäse (meatloaf) with fried potatoes and coleslaw, a spit-roasted pork with fried potatoes and coleslaw, and a small fries for our son. The fried potatoes were unfortunately very greasy and not crispy at all. The fries were very simple and also very thin and salty. The staff was very attentive and friendly, but I think they were slightly understaffed, as the waiter was busy elsewhere, so we had to wait a bit longer for our order. A nice place in itself, but not exactly suitable for eating. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish. 🙂

THE HEALTHIEST FOOD IS ONLY AVAILABLE HERE The day visitor who has enjoyed the numerous leisure activities in the spa gardens of Bad Sassendorf and is now hungry asks himself: "WHERE CAN I GO FOR EATING NOW?" My tip: I would eat at the SÄLZERKNECHT RESTORATION. The SÄLZERKNECHT is a German restaurant with rustic decor. The dishes are simple but delicious 😋. Eating at the SÄLZERKNECHT is a great way to round off a visit to Bad Sassendorf. By the way, an old saying goes: "Food keeps body and soul together." But that's not always true, because excessive or improper nutrition separates body and soul, meaning an improper diet can be fatal ☠. The best or healthiest diet is not organic or vegetarian. You can't buy them in health food stores either, but only from one: The LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST The Gospel of John tells us what foods the SAVIOR offers: - John 6:35 "I am the bread that gives life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry. Whoever clings to me will never thirst." - John 4:14 "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst. I will give him water that will become in him a spring welling up to eternal life." With all the delicious things that the SÄLZERKNECHT GUEST has to offer, one should remember that bread and water are essential staple foods, without which one cannot live, and without which there would be no such delicious food on the SÄLZERKNECHT menu. The same is true of the "bread" that the SAVIOUR offers. Without this "bread," the soul starves (and that is the worst death of all. Why? I'll come back to that later). Those who order a drink at the Extrablatt are more likely to choose a drink that tastes good: ☕, soda, or 🍻, but water? "Nah, that tastes like numb feet," some might think, and then they'd rather have a delicious mushroom on tap. Thirst has become more demanding. And not just in the choice of drinks. The general thirst for life is also very demanding for many in many ways: a career, a house, partying, and so on and so forth. Just as normal thirst flares up again and again, the thirst for life also flares up, perhaps even more intensely than before. Ever higher, ever faster, ever further. But at some point, that will end. I come to the third staple food that the SAVIOR offers: HIS BLOOD. - John 6:53-56 "YOU HAVE NO SHARE IN LIFE UNLESS YOU EAT THE BLOOD OF THE SON OF MAN AND DRINK HIS BLOOD. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him from the dead at the last. For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink. This means that whoever drinks his blood—this is only meant figuratively, of course; the wine in Holy Communion symbolizes this—remains connected to the LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, both in this life and in ETERNAL LIFE. Some might think, "I can happily do without that." You can't! Because whoever goes without will one day, after their death, also have to forgo all the delicacies that the SALT SERVANT has to offer. Those who have forgone the LORD's basic sustenance until then will not only have to forgo all the comforts of life, for all eternity. Even worse, they will go to a place where there aren't even basic sustenances: HELL. THEREFORE, BELIEVE IN THE LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! The food is okay, it’s proper German. There is not much too choose from on the menu. The service is not very friendly, but juist quick and gets the job done.

Good beer, delicious brawn in a beautiful place.

Very rude staff sat us in a corner and waited until we were served. At one point they shouted at us across the restaurant, asking if we hadn't noticed that it was dark and that we weren't serving people. On top of that, the local police, who were the regulars at the bar, got in touch in the most rude way and told us to use our brains even though we didn't even react when we stood up. Other guests were also given rude comments because they wanted to use the toilet, which was only for guests. The fact that they were sitting outside had to be clarified. We've been there many times but this is the last time; the fact that they couldn't even communicate properly and were so unfriendly was a real disgrace. Unfortunately you can't give zero stars. That's just not acceptable!!!

We sat inside the restaurant because it was raining outside. The lights weren't on in that area, but we thought they were off because no one else was sitting there. After waiting for about 10 minutes, someone shouted across the room that we wouldn't notice that we weren't being served because the area wasn't open. I find it strange that there are seats available, but we can't use them because the lights are off. The communication was not polite. There's no place as rude as that. If you go there, it's your own fault.

Unfortunately, very poor organization of the processes outside. We got the drinks quickly, but after 45 minutes we were still overlooked with children and couldn't order food. When payment was made inside with justification and without food, there wasn't even an apology. It's a shame and annoying for us...

Went to the restaurant to watch football Ordered a beer and a non-alcoholic beer. Very unfriendly shouted answer from the landlady, People drink here and non-alcoholic drinks are only available at the back (restaurant area) and we should open the entrance immediately. When we heard such an announcement, we immediately left the restaurant. Rarely seen such an extremely unfriendly landlady.

Never been served a schnitzel like this before. Swimming in oil on my plate, taste of pure oil, soggy breading that was already falling off. When it was pointed out that the schnitzel was not edible, there was a very rude answer: "That can't be the case". Like I'm stupid. I then said it was probably because the oil wasn't hot enough, then the schnitzel would just soak up the food. The answer to this was that the schnitzels were first fried and then grilled! 😂 I've never heard anything like that. So no recommendation, neither the staff nor the food.

There are very nice seats outside, but inside everything is a little old and not really clean. The landlady was rather unfriendly, but the service was quite nice. Food rather average. A toast salad was served to me on a wooden board, which didn't look particularly hygienic. Overall, not recommended, but okay as a short break outside.

We went for burgers at Sälzerknecht, they were full of flavor and super juicy 😀.

Food is very tasty, portions are just enough, sometimes you have to order something with it, but it's relatively cheap so you can do it well.

First the positive: The atmosphere to sit outside was really nice and pleasant. The food was also delicious and reasonable in terms of price/performance ratio. Now to my criticisms: We sat at the table for about 10 minutes until a waitress came and asked us what we would like to drink. We placed our drinks order only then she asked us if we would like to eat something. Then we said yes, of course. Another 10 minutes passed until she finally brought us the menu. Then she came back after 2/3 minutes and asked us what we wanted to eat? Well, I'm quick, but I can't choose something to eat in 2/3 minutes... After we ordered the food, she put a tablet on the table in front of me for about 10 minutes and said she had to go somewhere else... Not possible at all in my opinion... After she brought us the cutlery, we saw a dirty fork. We asked the waitress FRIENDLY about it, and the answer was an annoyed YES, I'LL BRING IT RIGHT AWAY. No apologies, nothing… You also have to say that the waitress was completely alone. Which I think is irresponsible of her boss. Nevertheless, the guest should suffer. At least I don't need to go there again... What a shame...

Holstein schnitzel with salad: Served on a wooden board including a mini portion of salad. The breaded schnitzel wasn't crispy, it tended to be mushy, so the slice of toast was soggy. The whole thing topped with a fried egg - all for €14.50...well! Ambience, apart from the current construction site (the landlord can't help that), there was a pot with a dead clematis next to our table. Service was friendly, food was brought quickly.

Never eaten or drank so badly. The orange juice I ordered looked strange in color. Just sipped it briefly and realized it was bad. Went back. Ordered redfish. Half raw fish arrived. It was brought back after a noticeably short time. I couldn't eat either. There was everything else in terms of fish, but no real redfish. My husband ate some of it. I don't. Can't recommend the place

Great restaurant with super friendly service and very good food

There is a nice counter in the front with various very good types of Potts beer on tap (e.g. Pils, Principal). Further back you can sit well to eat. My wife had a schnitzel - the largest I've ever seen, and two thumbs thick (still well-done and tender), generously covered with mushrooms, good fries and a delicious salad. I had the spit roast (see photo). Also good portion, tender meat, world-class fried potatoes and a good coleslaw. Nice condition, clean toilets. I didn't expect such good food - from the outside it looks like a typical pub.

We were pleasantly surprised by our food. Everything was deliciously seasoned and the crust could be described as meat. It had a reasonable thickness and no paper thickness. The fried potatoes were also great. There was nothing to complain about. I can only recommend the store.

Always great, freshly tapped Potts beer, which you always look forward to when you're in Bad Sassendorf. Food also tastes good, service inside and outside is always friendly.

We had dinner here in the late afternoon, everything was freshly prepared and very tasty and the service was hard to beat. Instead of fries, potatoes were served and the fries were delivered immediately.

I ate a paprika schnitzel that couldn't be better and the salad was also very good, thank you again 👍☺️
