Had dinner here the other night and let me tell you it was the best authentic German meal I’ve ever had. It’s one of the best meals I’ve eaten in our European trip this time round.. staff were amazing atmosphere was spot on couldn’t fault the place or staff..

But the real star was the potato salad – honestly, we've never had it this good. You can simply taste the love that goes into the cooking here. The service and the chef were very friendly and attentive. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended... Incredibly large portions; even the "baby schnitzel" for little ones would be a normal portion in some restaurants... The price/performance ratio isn't really right, as each guest is offered significantly more quality and quantity... If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again... But we'll make a reservation in advance, just to be on the safe side...

The information should be clearer. We came from far away (2 adults and 1 child) for dinner, and the restaurant was only open for drinks. This was very, very bad! Terrible experience.

What to say about this awesome place. A google search for the best schnitzel returned this result and it was spot on! First night we got there they had closed the kitchen, so we made the journey again from the city the following night nice and early to make sure we didn’t miss out. Man on man the portions are HUGE! Staff very helpful and friendly, chefs come out to personally check you are satisfied with your meal and beer is ultra cold. We ordered a schnitzel and the dumplings, schnitzel being the star by far. If ever you find yourself in Stuttgart, make sure you venture out to this place. It seems to be mainly frequented by locals making it a great vibe with great value for money.

It's worth it! Be sure to bring an empty stomach, the schnitzels are huge! They taste really good, though, and the potato salad is truly the best I've ever had. Don't forget to bring cash, as they only accept cash payments.

Small, busy restaurant in the heart of S-Zuffenhausen. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. THE FOOD: The pork schnitzel is, above all, HUGE. 30 cm? Unfortunately, it was pounded so thin that it was dry, and the breading made up what felt like 50% of the schnitzel. The turkey schnitzel was better, thicker, juicier. We had read very good opinions about this restaurant, but it has exceeded our expectations, not only because of the quantity and quality of the food (our congratulations to Tuncay) but because of the cozy and familiar atmosphere of the place and the kindness of Ebru, who treated us wonderfully. Had the turkey schnitzel (with fries) Onion roast (wild potatoes) and portion of spaetzle (extra). The spaetzle are absolutely not recommended, they are far too greasy and almost certainly not homemade and the sauce was also very weak. The fries and the wild potatoes were ok but not homemade either, not enough for the price. The turkey schnitzel is overpriced. Roast roast was okay but for the price the meat quality was rather unsatisfactory. Won't eat here again.

A real highlight for schnitzel fans! The Schnitzelhaus Post offers a huge selection of delicious schnitzel varieties - perfectly fried, crispy and juicy. The portions are very large, the prices are fair! It should be emphasized that the chef only prepares everything with fresh ingredients. From the salad to the meat to its sauces. I'm not sure if it was just us who received the bad food. My schnitzel was huge, but unfortunately it only consisted of tendons. My wife's spare ribs were sour and almost spoiled. The salad looked like it had been kneaded. Although the potato salad was tasty, the sauce was overly plentiful. The fries tasted old, like they had been fried again. I definitely won't come again. You could also hear the cook screaming from the front. The cheff should think about changing the cook. So the price is not justified either.

Amazing Schnitzel and Outstanding Service! I had the best schnitzel of my life at this restaurant! The portion size was absolutely unreal—so big that even the kids’ menu was larger than the plate. The staff was incredible; our waitress was simply amazing, and the chef even came to greet us twice, which made the experience even more special. The Ultimate Schnitzel Experience! Wow, just wow! If you love schnitzel, this is the place to be. Forget regular portions—here, it’s all about big, bigger, biggest! We went all-in with the 1-kilo schnitzel, and what a beast of a meal we got. Perfectly crispy, incredibly tender, and absolutely a challenge to finish (but we gave it our best shot!). We sat at the bar, where the atmosphere was simply amazing. The staff is super friendly, and the regulars make you feel right at home. Everyone is laughing, chatting, and having a great time—it’s like sitting in a living room full of friends. And the cherry on top? The chef and owner himself came by to say hello. You can see and feel the passion he has for his restaurant, and you can definitely taste it too! Greetings from Belgium! The next time we’re in Stuttgart, we’ll definitely be back. I can't understand the 5 stars. Yes, the schnitzel is huge. But that was it. Nothing special in terms of taste. Simple schnitzel without any special breading or seasoning. Atmosphere like in a pub. But the waitress and the chef were super nice and accommodating. 5 stars for that. The rest, well. The price is also too expensive. For the same price you can eat much better and more stylishly. It remains a one-time visit.

I just got takeaway this time, but the food was made quickly, hot, and so tasty! I had the kinderschnitzel with the cream sauce on the side. You get your money's worth and then some. The hostess was very nice and was also kind enough to speak English for me. I look forward to dining there next time.

Wir waren zu viert und hatten jeder ein "Kinderschnitzel" ( da wir beim reingehen schon die mehr als übermäßigen Portionen gesehen haben ) mit Pommes und Bratenjus bestellt, ein gemischter Salat war auch dabei. Vom Essen her war alles top - gut gewürzt, schöne Panade, knusprige Pommes und der Salat und die Sosse waren sehr lecker. Keiner von uns und auch niemand an den Nebentischen hat das Essen geschafft - es blieb mindestens die Hälfte übrig. Selbst die "Kinderschnitzel" haben eine ganze Servierplatte eingenommen und eins wog locker 700 g. Sicher gibt es Gäste, die freuen sich über solche Mammut-Portionen und kommen extra deshalb hierher - für mich ist das fast wie die sog. All-you-can-eat-Angebote, die ich persönlich ablehne. Für mich ein Grund einen Stern abzuziehen und ich frage mich ernsthaft, warum man so etwas anbietet - aber ich wiederhole: insgesamt war es sehr schmackhaft und wir würden auch wiederkommen in diese gemütliche kleine "Old-School-Gastwirtschaft".

My grandson is a really good eater, but he couldn't finish the Kinderschnitzel. He was pretty exhausted afterwards and just wanted some peace and quiet.

The Schnitzelhaus Post in Stuttgart is an absolute insider tip! The portions are huge, so no one goes home hungry. And best of all, not only do you feel full, but you often have enough left over to enjoy it the next day. The service is outstanding, attentive and warm. Particularly noteworthy is the owner, who also works as a chef. A real professional who impresses across the board, both personally and culinary-wise. We loved the recommendations so much that we even drove 2.5 hours for the food and it was worth every minute! Here we not only cook with skill, but also with heart, absolute recommendation!

What can I say..... You have to defeat the schnitzel first in the true sense of the word... It's huge and very delicious... I almost dare to say it's one of the finest schnitzels I've eaten.. We went to the restaurant spontaneously without a reservation and were allowed to sit at the counter... but we were quickly seated at a table... the staff is wonderful and very nice... there should be more staff like that. .. Really a living room restaurant, we had not made a reservation, but so that time was not a problem, a table was found and thoroughly enjoyed the enormous schnitzel. Friendly service, nothing too crazy, everything with a smile. We were given aluminum foil to wrap the remains of the schnitzel to take with us, it is customary because throwing it away is a waste, I say, that's completely fine. Large meals Inc salad RESERVATIONS IS A MUST FOR THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE.
