Super friendly staff, excellent quality and fresh food. Unbeatable value for money. On our second visit within a week, we not only received the obligatory ouzo but a small 200ml bottle – that was five ouzos per person (there were two of us). If we're ever in Heidelberg or the surrounding area again, we'll definitely be back.

Super delicious food. Reasonable prices, schnitzel with fries for less than €17 with a generous side salad.

We had a lovely evening here. Delicious food and good beer. Kudos to the service. Two people were served inside and in the beer garden. Therefore, there might be a wait. The price/performance ratio was good. Note: the prices on the menu seem to be outdated. The bill was a bit more expensive.

A lovely beer garden in a quiet location in Kirchheim, in the south of Heidelberg. Still easily accessible from the central location. The prices are reasonable. The beer is delicious. Remember your mosquito repellent—the only (understandable) downside to the beautifully landscaped pond.

This is exactly the right place if you want to enjoy good Greek food in a relaxed atmosphere (even with a group). The homemade feta cheese sauce is especially recommended: divinely simple. The owners are also very, very friendly. You just feel very comfortable.

It took a long time for the food to arrive, and there wasn't enough food in advance, so you couldn't order your preferred meal. But in terms of taste and ambiance, it's a good restaurant. Although the taste wasn't exactly outstanding, it was overall okay.

We order here regularly – the food is plentiful and always truly delicious, fresh, and made with lots of love. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and often goes above and beyond what you'd expect. You don't find service like this very often these days. A definite recommendation.

Authentic Greek cuisine. A feast for the palate. We had various appetizers, and everything was delicious. The kitchen is open until 10 p.m., a great option for a late dinner. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. No long waits, and the dishes are hot and fresh. My favorite is the lava stone souvlaki.

A very friendly owner, delicious food and a great place in an allotment garden.

Very good food, large portions as you would expect from Greek restaurants. Price-performance is right! The meat is fried on lava stone, which gives a very aromatic note when eating, as if the meat had been grilled on a charcoal grill. The ouzo ended up being very good and placed in a small bottle to serve yourself. And my highlight: dog-friendly and absolutely nice service staff. Unfortunately, when we were there it was pretty empty, which is why the service staff was occasionally in the kitchen if you needed them. But for me it's more of an exception and overall, absolutely recommended!

Discovered it by chance on a hike and decided to visit the restaurant at the next opportunity. And this came a few months later. Located atypically in the middle of an allotment garden settlement, a visit to this Greek restaurant was definitely worth it. Both I and my friends were extremely satisfied with the food and the service. The shop is probably something of an insider tip, as it was already busy shortly after it opened on Sunday lunchtime. We had gyros and stuffed bifteki and it tasted delicious. On my next visit to Heidelberg I will definitely come back and try other delicacies 😊

We had a family celebration there and were very positively surprised by the service, the ambience and the food. We would be happy to come again and can only recommend it.

Food came after almost 100 minutes Both main courses without side salad (it's your own fault if you're not there...) sheep's cheese...yeah...2 onion rings and a pepperoni, a bit of tomato and cucumber... Taste and consistency from the micro. .. loveless and various own creations ... apart from the squeaking .. what was requested was patates and fries, fries came twice .. If I don't like someone I will recommend the store... 60 euros wasn't even worth half to us. The meat they leave was OK and the supplier was friendly

Mega surprise 😃 We don't normally expect much from a restaurant in an allotment colony, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Good menu, great food and a very attentive host. Simply great. If we're in the area again we'll definitely be back!!

Unfortunately we are disappointed, after such good reviews we expected something better. Portions for just under €20 are small. My chicken was raw so I didn't eat it.

We have been guests at Kirchheimer Loch for years and have spent many evenings there, as a couple, with friends and as part of family celebrations. We always feel welcome and are always happy about the exceptionally good and super-friendly service. In all these years we have never been dissatisfied - the dishes are consistently very good and tasty (and we have tried pretty much everything :o)) ), fresh, visually a highlight and consistently good! The Kirchheimer Loch has now become a reference for us when assessing other comparable restaurants - some pass this comparison despite good Google reviews: bad - or not at all.

We have been coming to Kirchheimer Loch every now and then for several years. In the middle of the allotment gardens you can sit beautifully in the beer garden or on the terrace with a great view of the Königstuhl. The selection of starters and main courses is very good, everything is freshly prepared. The salads are always crisp and fresh, the meat is always tender and to the point. The prices are perfectly fine. The service is very courteous and friendly. Last week we spent a very nice evening in Kirchheimer Loch with 24 people. After we had eaten the wonderful starters, all 24 people were served the main courses almost at the same time. Nothing was overcooked or overcooked. Clean performance, because all the other tables were also occupied. Respect, Theo, thank you for this successful evening and huge praise to the entire team. You had to walk a lot... If you're thinking about going somewhere on the weekend without feeling like getting all dressed up, this is the place for you. Very comfortable and invites you to relax.

Wir waren als Touristen in Heidelberg und haben dieses Restaurant zufällig gefunden. Absolut super, tolle Gerichte, superfreundliches Personal. Bin seit langen nicht so freundlich bedient worden und habe so gut gegessen. Kann ich nur bestens weiter empfehlen, aber nicht an arrogante Touries.

We ate here today. The food was very tasty and plentiful and the atmosphere was very nice despite the thunderstorm. After the meal we were offered an ouzo, which turned out to be a small bottle with around 200ml of ouzo. Very lavish, we left some at the neighboring table.😀 The Lakal is highly recommended!

Dear Kirchheimer Loch team, you have really spoiled what has been a very successful holiday for us. We should have eaten somewhere else, it's a shame that we got involved with others again. So it's been a long time since I or we have eaten so badly and at a more expensive price too... Complete disappointment. We ordered 1x gyro 1x grilled “sheep” cheese 1x grill plate 1x giant beans 1x cordon bleu We got: Dry meat that tastes like nothing Soggy fries dripping with fat. Giant beans that are sold with “sheep’s” cheese that simply tasted disgusting (went straight into the bin). In the future, if you already sell it with sheep's cheese, please add a little more sheep's cheese, not just 3 chunks.... And until today I didn't even know that you could mess up a side salad like that. Warm mushy vegetables that taste like nothing... And the grilled cheese... just a sad pile in a warming box. So I have no idea, no matter where I go, whether it's Greek or not. When I order gyros there is always at least a dollop of tzatziki or a homemade sauce... but there is absolutely NOTHING and for just under 17 euros. It's not about putting a huge portion on it... at least a little...

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and quick. There was even a small piece of cake as a greeting from the kitchen for dessert. It was delicious and a great deal. It's definitely great in the beer garden in summer, when the smoke from the smokers is distributed a little better. Unfortunately, it was a bit uncomfortable under the awning on the terrace during the meal, but that was more due to the unstoppable guests than the location. Allowing smoking outdoors is legitimate, but you might want to reconsider it under the tent.

Food was very tasty I ate Gyros Metaxa Pan and it was very tasty and a good portion (I'm a big eater and would have gotten a second portion if I wanted 😊👍) but it was really a very good portion like the very nice one The waiter had promised me (with the words if it's not enough I'll get another one) and he would have kept his word 👍🤗 my wife ate the lamb chops, we both had a starter of garlic bread and tzatziki mega delicious and a side salad (delicious) for dessert I then treated myself to some nutcracker ice cream and we were very happy!!! 🤗👍 We found the small Ouzo bottle funny because it lasted 😊👏 so in short it's definitely worth a visit or more frequent visits Best regards

I eat there once a month and have been doing so for years. Nice guests, tasty and good dishes, lots of choice. With the dimmer you can sit outside in a quiet, relaxing environment. My recommendation !

Ich habe mir das Essen Liefern lassen, das Fleisch war gut die Pommes waren Kalt. Doch ich hatte 2 x Tzatziki bestellt und bezahlt doch es war keiner dabei. Daher Service 1 Stern wegen den Kalten Pommes 2 Sterne. Schade das können Sie bestimmt besser!!

Wir haben Essen bestellt und geliefert bekommen. Obwohl es etwas länger gedauert hat, hat sich das Warten gelohnt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Portionen groß. Jetzt planen wir auch, vor Ort zu essen.

Über andere Bewertungen auf das Lokal aufmerksam geworden und nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und der empfohlene Wein erstklassig. Das Essen einwandfrei, Lende super saftig, perfekt. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Beim nächsten Heidelberg Besuch kommen wir wieder.

Top Adresse für leckeres Essen in der Nähe des Parkplatzes Messplatz. Wohnmobil Stellplatz. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Das Essen war unglaublich lecker. Die Portionen sind sehr gut und man wird definitiv satt. Der Chefteller umfasst ein (für ein Mixteller) recht großes Rumpsteak, einen Lendenspieß und bifteki mit schafskäse Ich habe gebeten, dass alles medium ist, weil ich noch nie eine leckere Lende im Restaurant hatte. Es war immer ziemlich trocken. Hier war alles perfekt. Das Rumpsteak Medium rare, die Lende perfekt saftig und das bifteki sehr gut gewürzt. Die gegrillten Peperoni waren richtig gegrillt und lecker gewürzt und hatten zudem eine super leckere Knoblauchcreme. Perfekt!!! Der Service war auch sehr nett und freundlich. Wir hatten leider nur die ec Karte dabei. Uns wurde angeboten, dass wir das über online banking vor Ort abwickeln, was ganz einfach geklappt hat. Ein rundum perfekter Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
