Roast pork, Kaiserschmarren and the beer are absolutely brilliant. The schnitzel with fries was good but the portion size was very small. It was probably just an isolated case, but that was the only thing to complain about.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that tasty, and it was quite expensive. The sausage salad was quite bland. The beer gurlasch was okay. But the service staff are a positive. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas in the beautiful building.

The ambience is excellent. Unfortunately, the food seems like it was canned. What also speaks for the fact that the kitchen heats up ready-made food is that simple changes such as leaving out a dumpling when roasting pork are not possible. When paying you are confronted with a tip of 10% / 15% / 20%. This is not the USA!

I would particularly like to highlight the vegan currywurst. This is not a vegan alibi option like in many places, but rather corresponds to hearty tavern cuisine. That's how it should be. Service, especially from female employees, was above average. I like coming here. Alone. With friends. With family. From management to operation. They're obviously doing a great job here. Thanks!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Totally cozy inn with good Bavarian cuisine and lots of veggie dishes, large portions and friendly service.

The customer is wrong here. Ate two roast pork. It was okay so far, the taste was ready-made sauce. As a side dish was coleslaw, which was very salty. If you didn't want to pay, you were rejected. Reason: We have sold 40 of them and no one has complained yet. Very unprofessional complaint handling. For both of us, this means we suffer from taste confusion. Thank you for that. It would have been better to try the salad and not declare the guests incompetent. Thank you never again.

We were there on New Year's afternoon. Even though there was a lot going on, Amelie had her area completely under control and was very friendly. At the change of shift, the colleague who took over the area (operations manager? At least that's how he acted) talked to her so much that you couldn't stop spitting. And she was really quick and friendly. A very bad impression remains.

The Faun is a Bavarian pub, the ambience is slightly Art Nouveau. There is the right beer. The food is good, Bavarian cuisine. Our waitress was special: a young man who kept an overview in the fully occupied restaurant, i.e. in times of great stress, didn't allow himself to be disturbed and was very friendly and courteous.

Christmas dinner was already sold out at 3 a.m. on Boxing Day - nice presents

You simply never do anything wrong. We have enjoyed coming here for many years. The ambience, staff and food are always impeccable. We thank you! Particularly worth mentioning are the vegan or vegetarian offerings as well as the excellently developed Augustiner on tap in many variations.

The food was generally quite tasty. Except for the salad, it just didn't taste good. And the waitresses were probably totally overwhelmed. In 1.5 hours none of them had managed to come past our table again, e.g. E.g. whether we would like to drink something else. We even had to actively approach them to pay.

The food was good . The waiter thogh was so damn rude like what in the world?! It was an older guy with glasses more of a waiter type of perso . So rude. And so smartass. No reason to be so smart when i dont know basics as a traveler in a foreign country...

I always like the design with dark green, black and white. Atmosphere is really nice. The taste was regular for the steak, my favorite was salad.

Very nice Bavarian inn with a great ambience, friendly service and good, hearty food. The latter is not quite at the level of, for example, Xavers, but respectable. Prices are typically high in Munich, but correspond to the standard in the city. The unique selling point here is less the gastronomy than the very beautiful building in which it is located.

We spontaneously went here for dinner, the atmosphere is nice, the steak with chanterelles was delicious and the service was very nice... and all of that here in Munich

Beautiful Art Nouveau restaurant with great ceiling art. Ate here again after a year. Service friendly and quick. The kitchen has improved and the dishes are very tasty.

Classic Bavarian tavern with authentic flair. Great hearty roast pork and cold Augustiner Barrel - what more could you want? Great value for money.

Very charming atmosphere! Honest and good food! We had soup, schnitzel and ham noodles. And of course delicious Augustiner on tap! First day with Oktoberfest beer :) Unfortunately, a deduction from the service because the lady couldn't wait until we had finished eating and was practically standing at the back of the table next to us when we spooned the soup. That was unpleasant and there was no tip (the reason was probably a shift change).

We often meet here with friends for lunch or drinks in the evening. While the food is fairly average for a bavarian wirtshaus, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly.

Stay away from this place of scammers. We arrive from Italy certain that we have ordered a dish and it arrives wrong, we point it out to the waiter who had already been extremely rude from the beginning and had the courage to raise his voice saying that it was what we had ordered without even questioning whether he had made a mistake or not. telling a woman several times to calm down. I order a glass of red wine and a glass of tap water. I can't understand why a busy restaurant like the Faun needs to charge 2 euros for 0.2 tap water and thus incur the anger of the guests, or at least mine. If I extrapolate that, an Augustinian beer is cheaper. Sorry, something doesn't fit!

Really nice location in the middle of the Glockenbachviertel. Service was very nice and attentive, the Art Nouveau ambience is also very nice, including the outdoor area. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle tasted quite monotonous, but it was okay with a little seasoning. It's a shame that a small side salad is no longer included. I would still like to come back.

It's the best Shnitzel I have ever ate. The waitress was cute and gave a good service. I ordered 3 main dishes and they were all on point! Even the salad that came with it was fine! Well done!

We really enjoy coming here to eat, the food is always very tasty and fresh, there is also a seasonal menu, a good breakfast menu, a few bowls and there is always something for vegetarians too. Our child has celiac disease and got a gluten-free meal of spaghetti Bolognese here despite the restaurant being full. We have been coming here for years and can highly recommend both the service and the cuisine!

Good Augustinian restaurant with good typical food. The ambience should look like a restaurant in a positive sense! Beautiful bar garden! I'm not a Schanigarten fan, especially when they're empty, but here it's really justified because it's always busy.

In Munich you obviously have no claims if it costs less than 20 euros for a dish. Gum-chewing service with no overview of what was reserved and what wasn't, we had to move around. No smile, no apology for the circumstances. Ready-made spaetzle with bagged cheese for 14 euros, it really doesn't have to happen again. Very nice guest room, you could really do something with it.

The place looked nice but the food and the food not great. I had the vegan currywurst and found the sauce very salty and sweet and would have benefited with some vegetables on the side. My partner had the pork roast which he says was ok but wouldn’t recommend.

A tip from a friend that turned out to be very good (not that I expected anything else). Good selection of food and drinks, very good quality, the Wiener Schnitzel was really great. Very nice service, the employee also had a good solution for a specific question. Located in the Glockenbachviertel, around 10 minutes on foot from the main station and near the Isar. Highly recommended.

We had a relaxing evening, the food was ok. The restaurant is beautiful inside (especially the stucco ceiling). There are lots of tables and a few high tables in the middle. In summer you can sit outside nicely.

Unfortunately very bad food! Roast pork with glutamate packaged sauce, which gave us massive gastrointestinal problems, is simply not possible!

Sehr schöner Gastraum mit hohen Decken und großzügigen Tischen. Die Speisekarte reicht von gutbürgerlich bis zu Bowls. Alles sehr lecker und zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Das Personal ist freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit.

Gaststätte mit groß Außenbereich. Das Essen war gut; die Pommes 🍟 hätten etwas heisser seien können. Die Panade des Schnitzel war ölig. Ich gebe 3,5 Sterne für das Essen. 4 für den Service und Ambiente.

Im Sommer nett draußen gesessen, Service auch sehr engsgiert und freundlich. Dennoch würden wir wegen des Essens nicht nochmal kommen. Ungewürzter Schweinsbraten mit dickflüssiger Pulversauce und ertränkter Kruste, der Falaffelteller leider ein schlechter Scherz sowohl qualitativ als auch quantitativ. Leider preislich nicht angemessen, zu Hause bekommt man das deutlich besser hin

Netter service, schönes Lokal, essen leider wirklich nicht sehr toll, uninspiriert, liebelos und, wie soll ich sagen… trocken. Wenn man gerne was gutes isst dann nicht hier, da kommt man sich leider verarscht vor, gibt viele Wirtshäuser wo wesentlich besser gekocht wird, zum gleichen Preis. Ich gehe nicht noch mal hin.

Wir waren zum Frühstücken hier. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
