Rice for the curry was totally dry. 0.2l! Cola almost 5 euros. It used to be better.

Very nice Bavarian inn with a great ambience, friendly service and good, hearty food. The latter is not quite at the level of, for example, Xavers, but respectable. Prices are typically high in Munich, but correspond to the standard in the city. The unique selling point here is less the gastronomy than the very beautiful building in which it is located.

Beautiful Art Nouveau restaurant with great ceiling art. Ate here again after a year. Service friendly and quick. The kitchen has improved and the dishes are very tasty.

Classic Bavarian tavern with authentic flair. Great hearty roast pork and cold Augustiner Barrel - what more could you want? Great value for money.

Very charming atmosphere! Honest and good food! We had soup, schnitzel and ham noodles. And of course delicious Augustiner on tap! First day with Oktoberfest beer :) Unfortunately, a deduction from the service because the lady couldn't wait until we had finished eating and was practically standing at the back of the table next to us when we spooned the soup. That was unpleasant and there was no tip (the reason was probably a shift change).

The four of us had breakfast outside; Table reserved online in advance, no problem. Small breakfast plus muesli, Biovital, Lox and Mediterraneo and coffee: none of the participants had anything to complain about. Yummy. Price no more expensive than elsewhere. Friendly service.

We often meet here with friends for lunch or drinks in the evening. While the food is fairly average for a bavarian wirtshaus, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly.

Stay away from this place of scammers. We arrive from Italy certain that we have ordered a dish and it arrives wrong, we point it out to the waiter who had already been extremely rude from the beginning and had the courage to raise his voice saying that it was what we had ordered without even questioning whether he had made a mistake or not. telling a woman several times to calm down. SCANDALOUS. Rude and misogynistic. Arrogant fools. Even having left the entire dish, he made me pay for it. Gross

I order a glass of red wine and a glass of tap water. I can't understand why a busy restaurant like the Faun needs to charge 2 euros for 0.2 tap water and thus incur the anger of the guests, or at least mine. If I extrapolate that, an Augustinian beer is cheaper. Sorry, something doesn't fit!

Really nice location in the middle of the Glockenbachviertel. Service was very nice and attentive, the Art Nouveau ambience is also very nice, including the outdoor area. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle tasted quite monotonous, but it was okay with a little seasoning. It's a shame that a small side salad is no longer included. I would still like to come back.

It's the best Shnitzel I have ever ate. The waitress was cute and gave a good service. I ordered 3 main dishes and they were all on point! Even the salad that came with it was fine! Well done!

Went here for lunch, super nice service and the food was super good. Definitely coming back. Price-performance was also good. The roast pork with coleslaw was particularly excellent.

Christian made the difference - always a pleasure to be a guest, but now thanks to Christian, he was removed from the list with remarkably poor service. Prices for food and drink no longer correspond to the quality.

16€ for a manageable falafel plate with a convenience pita pocket instead of flatbread (according to the menu) is not justified.

We really enjoy coming here to eat, the food is always very tasty and fresh, there is also a seasonal menu, a good breakfast menu, a few bowls and there is always something for vegetarians too. Our child has celiac disease and got a gluten-free meal of spaghetti Bolognese here despite the restaurant being full. We have been coming here for years and can highly recommend both the service and the cuisine!

Food was very good with one of the best beers in Munich. I sat in front of the entrance and watched the crazy traffic on this tricky road and admired that nothing bad had happened. I would be happy to come back to you soon. Dear staff.

Solid restaurant with fair prices. The food was good, the service was very nice (even though we initially waited 15 minutes until we were served).

Good Augustinian restaurant with good typical food. The ambience should look like a restaurant in a positive sense! Beautiful bar garden! I'm not a Schanigarten fan, especially when they're empty, but here it's really justified because it's always busy.

The Faun is a very nicely decorated restaurant, with delicious food! At midday there is a daily lunch special. It's also nice to drop by in the evening with colleagues or family.

In Munich you obviously have no claims if it costs less than 20 euros for a dish. Gum-chewing service with no overview of what was reserved and what wasn't, we had to move around. No smile, no apology for the circumstances. Ready-made spaetzle with bagged cheese for 14 euros, it really doesn't have to happen again. Very nice guest room, you could really do something with it.

Very friendly service. Flexible when ordering. Very fair prices. Very beautiful and at the same time cozy interior.

The place looked nice but the food and the food not great. I had the vegan currywurst and found the sauce very salty and sweet and would have benefited with some vegetables on the side. My partner had the pork roast which he says was ok but wouldn’t recommend.

There's always something going on in that corner anyway, and if you're a little too comfortable sitting, eating and drinking, the Faun is the right place for men and women. Good mood in a nice atmosphere. Well-kept food and drinks or just quick fries and beer.

A tip from a friend that turned out to be very good (not that I expected anything else). Good selection of food and drinks, very good quality, the Wiener Schnitzel was really great. Very nice service, the employee also had a good solution for a specific question. Located in the Glockenbachviertel, around 10 minutes on foot from the main station and near the Isar. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant, with acceptable prices. I had a mixed salad. The dressing on this one was very seasoned. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, they also suffer from a shortage of skilled workers there. The two of us had the entire service in the full restaurant under control. Good job

We had a relaxing evening, the food was ok. The restaurant is beautiful inside (especially the stucco ceiling). There are lots of tables and a few high tables in the middle. In summer you can sit outside nicely.

Unfortunately very bad food! Roast pork with glutamate packaged sauce, which gave us massive gastrointestinal problems, is simply not possible!

Sehr schöner Gastraum mit hohen Decken und großzügigen Tischen. Die Speisekarte reicht von gutbürgerlich bis zu Bowls. Alles sehr lecker und zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Das Personal ist freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit.

Gaststätte mit groß Außenbereich. Das Essen war gut; die Pommes 🍟 hätten etwas heisser seien können. Die Panade des Schnitzel war ölig. Ich gebe 3,5 Sterne für das Essen. 4 für den Service und Ambiente.

Im Sommer nett draußen gesessen, Service auch sehr engsgiert und freundlich. Dennoch würden wir wegen des Essens nicht nochmal kommen. Ungewürzter Schweinsbraten mit dickflüssiger Pulversauce und ertränkter Kruste, der Falaffelteller leider ein schlechter Scherz sowohl qualitativ als auch quantitativ. Leider preislich nicht angemessen, zu Hause bekommt man das deutlich besser hin

Netter service, schönes Lokal, essen leider wirklich nicht sehr toll, uninspiriert, liebelos und, wie soll ich sagen… trocken. Wenn man gerne was gutes isst dann nicht hier, da kommt man sich leider verarscht vor, gibt viele Wirtshäuser wo wesentlich besser gekocht wird, zum gleichen Preis. Ich gehe nicht noch mal hin.

Wir waren zum Frühstücken hier. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Sehr angenehmer und sauberes Wirtshaus mit klassischen Gerichten. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort essen und hatten einen super guten Platz. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und war bemüht alle zufriedenzustellen, was auch gut geklappt hat. Trinken und essen kamen alle zeitgleich, sodass man hier nur wenige Minuten warten musste bis alle gleichzeitig essen konnten. Das Essen ist frisch und geschmacklich lecker, so wie man es bei den klassischen Gerichten kennt. Die 3-G Regeln werden eingehalten und auch eingefordert. Ein Besuch ist immer lohnenswert wenn man in der Nähe ist, hebt sich aber jetzt nicht unbedingt von anderen Wirtshäusern ab.

Man merkt sofort das hier nur Aushilfen Arbeiten, sorry aber man sollte sich mit seinem Job identifizieren und nicht rumlaufen wie hitz und kuntz,, für die Preise dir ihr aufruft müsstet ihr euch gutes Servicepersonal leisten können... das Essen leider auch unter durchschnitt. Gläser fasst man beim servieren unten an nicht wo der Gast trinkt...

Der Falafel-Teller-Salat war völlig enttäuschend. Erster Hinweis: Platzieren Sie es nicht im Menü unter „Salate“, da es nichts mit einem Salat zu tun hat. Es gab einen Löffel Tomaten-Gurken-Mischung, weich und nicht frisch, das war’s mit dem Salat. Das Fladenbrot war hart und schmeckte alt. Hummus war mehr oder weniger in Ordnung, nichts Besonderes. Falafelbällchen waren klein und hart, Oliven geschmacklos. Es fühlte sich wirklich so an, als wäre alles in einem Supermarkt gekauft und auf den Teller gelegt worden. Nichts schmeckte wie im Restaurant zubereitet und frisch. Einziger positiver Punkt: Mein Freund hatte einen Kaiserschmarren und dieser war gut.

Komische Bedingungen an manchen Tagen aber sonst alles top

Ein unglaublich freundlicher, engagierter Kellner hat mich heute Abend bedient, der auch sieht, dass das Glas leer ist und freundlich fragt, ob er ein weiteres bringen soll. Finde ich sehr aufmerksam! Mein Wurstsalat mit diversem Brot war prima! Abschließend noch Kerzenschein - was will man mehr!

Wir sind hingefahren, um ein schönes Frühstück zu haben. Dieses haben wir definitiv auch bekommen. Der Service war Weltklasse, sehr freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend! Das Essen war für den Preis auch absolute spitze. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Thai chicken soup and Apfel Strudel was very great. The restaurant is placed in a quiet neighbourhood and it is enjoyable to sit and eat.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit klassischem deutschen Essen. Hat aber einen moderneren Flair als ein klassisches Wirtshaus. Die Käsespätzle waren wirklich ausgesprochen lecker 🤤 und die Bedienung war sehr nett :))

Saßen zu Mittag draußen und das Schnitzel war sehr gut, allerdings hätte die Portion gerne etwas größer ausfallen dürfen.
