Gaststätte Böckerhof in Solingen

We made a reservation at 3 p.m. in the afternoon to eat there around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival it was very cold inside, the staff walked around in a thick coat and the heating was still off. The only thing that was on was a television with a roaring fire. My negative review that I wrote about this on the 13th was unfortunately deleted the next morning. Quite unsportsmanlike. We did have something to drink. Unfortunately. Hot chocolate was lukewarm and lumpy. Not exactly cheap either. 13.80 for 1 coke, 2 chocolate and a mulled wine. However, at checkout they only wanted cash. When we refused, after some grumbling, an ATM machine was brought. Unfortunately we did not receive a receipt. I had to give my email address and they would send it. Now After 3 days nothing. I think the positive reviews and high rating are a hoax and may be of their own making. This cannot seriously be called a restaurant. More like a canteen.

After we had already eaten in the restaurant or beer garden, we had the food delivered to our home today. And we were again impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. We find that the price and performance are right here. The staff is also very friendly. We'll meet Again.

I was here today to take photos of a few dishes and took the opportunity to try the food. The Jägerschnitzel was very tasty. Everything well prepared. Large portion. Very friendly staff. Although it is a rustic restaurant, it is also very quiet and beautifully located. A very clear recommendation from me 👍

Delicious food. A bit difficult to find among the allotments, but that makes it a wonderfully quiet spot.

You can eat unusually well, everyone should try it and be surprised by this homemade quality

A great, well-kept, young, friendly and attentive team. Food delicious and beautifully presented. Flexible for special requests and open to criticism, which is implemented immediately. I go there at least 3 times a week as a stopover while walking the dog. My dog ​​also feels at home there and feels welcome. The restaurant is beautifully located and is certainly the right choice for family events.

Golden wedding. The location is rustic and outdated. Since we were given detailed advice and were also offered special requests regarding the food, we decided on the Böckerhof. The tables were appropriately lovingly decorated. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Despite ongoing operations, we were able to bring our own musician. The staff was very friendly. The only drawback was that there weren't enough staff and you had to wait a while for drinks. It was a great evening. My parents were very happy.

A really good restaurant in the south of Solingen. A bit hidden but a really great kitchen with nice staff.

Unfortunately it was so cold that you had to wear a jacket or sweater. A subtle note to the lady at the counter above was countered with a “we’re just open….?!” Note in the menu that it takes longer to eat is okay, but waiting an hour for the food with 4 guests is simply too long. You were only at the table once to order, so you couldn't exchange your empty glass for a full one. The food Schnitzel Holsteiner style & Schnitzel Jäger style were good except for the completely charred onions. They were already black. See photo A question about whether everything was OK with the food came shortly after it was served, but it would have made more sense to ask again at the end so that we could have given complete feedback. Friendly service and the food is very tasty. Syrian dishes round it all off. The Bergisch palate gets its money's worth here. I think the schnitzels are really great, especially the Cologne and the Bergische... try them out. See you!!

Absolutely amazing <3 A great atmosphere in the garden settlement. Lovingly decorated and all ideas and wishes are welcomed here. We've been here for dinner a few times with good home cooking and a great homely atmosphere 🥰 We will be celebrating our wedding here in the summer and I don't regret this decision for a second❣️

Nice location and a great service/owner team leave nothing to be desired. Eat. TOP TOP SERVICE PRICES. TOP ......and what I liked best.........?? I ordered a latte and received it, but it didn't have enough milk for me. I wasn't offered cold milk... No, I was given freshly frothed, hot milk. That impressed me a lot. Gladly again soon

We were invited to this restaurant for a birthday. Unfortunately the menu was empty, so we were told verbally what else was available. The birthday child was visibly embarrassed! I didn't have any great expectations about the food anymore... But it was okay. We won't come a second time.

Unser erster Besuch lief sehr chaotisch ab aus einem romantischen Essen wurde ein filmreifes Chaos. Der Service war absolut top,allerdings war es recht chaotisch. Viele Sachen waren ausverkauft,aber der Gastgeber hat es durch einen sehr sehr guten Service wieder gut gemacht. Das Essen war sehr gut,und eigentlich können wir uns nur für einen unvergesslichen Abend bedanken. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtete und familiäre Gaststätte unter Leitung der ehemaligen Zunftstuben-Pächter. Die Küche ist fantastisch und bietet sowohl für den kleinen als auch für den großen Hunger alles, was das Herz begehrt: Kroatische Spezialitäten und deftige Fleischgerichte, auf Wunsch auch gerne vegetarisch. Freundlicher und verbindlicher Service durch den Chef persönlich und ein gut gezapftes leckeres Bier runden das Ganze ab und laden zum Wiederkommen ein. Im Sommer erwartet einen direkt vor der Tür ein wunderschön gelegener Biergarten am Teich. Und um das Ganze abzurunden gibt´s in der Gaststätte auch noch eine Kegelbahn und - ganz neu - einen Dart-Raum mit zwei elektronischen Scheiben. Daher: Volle Punktzahl!!!

Extremely friendly service + most dog friendly restaurant we have been. We ordered the prawn with rice, the grilled meat platter, and had the pancake for dessert. The restaurant offered us a shot on the house. Everything was delicious. Thanks Gaststätte Böckerhof for the great service & allowing our dog to have her fun!

Kleine Kneipe/Gaststätte in einer Gartensiedlung Rustikales Interieur Bier,Softdrinks, Spirituosen, Wein,Kaffee etc Einfache gut bürgerliche Küche mit ausreichend großen Portionen und echt lecker waren zu acht da und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt Nette und schnelle Bedienung man muss nie lange warten,wir werden wieder hin gehen Zugang nur bedingt barrierefrei 3Stufen müssen bewältigt werden was aber dem Gebäude geschuldet ist.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Gutes Essen für einen anständigen Preis. Der Böckerburger ist nur zu empfehlen. Kann schon mal voll sein wenn das Wetter gut ist.
